Academia de Flamenco Manuel Betanzos

I've been taking lessons here for over a year. David Perez is an incredible teacher - a highly-skilled dancer with a lot of patience, humility and "arte". He is an inspiration. Paloma, the receptionist, is a wonderful person too - very sweet and helpful, taking time to work out which classes suit, to help you understand timetables or how much you owe for the classes. Manuel who runs the school is usually around, either teaching or helping out. They regularly have visiting teachers which is also cool! The price for one lessons is a but expensive, but the more you do per month the cheaper they become, and it is great value for the high level of teaching and live guitar in many classes.

You are also welcome to visit the academy and watch part of a class for free, to see an authentic Sevillian flamenco class! Classes in the morning and evening.
