ADANA Dog Shelter

Son unos buenísimo voluntario, Fernando es un guapetón, los perros están en la gloria en este refugio, bueno estarían mejor en casas de gente que lo respete pero en falta de eso aquí estan muy bien.
Se pueden pasear los perros sin tener que adoptar justo para que se muevan un poco y que se acostumbren a la gente.

Been volunteering for 7 years now. Seeing how a timid dog is rehabilitated is the best thing in the world.

We visited adana's and found the care and support they gave the dogs was amazing, myself and my wife went down to have a look at some rescue puppies Adana spent considerable time introducing us to all the dogs she had and really helped us make our decision. We ended up fostering two puppies and even now Adana still gets involved making sure that all their injections are followed through I would 100% recommend adana if you're looking to foster.

La labor que hacen es preciosa. Cuidan y miman a todos los perros que tienen en las instalaciones.
Os animo a todos a adoptar y sino es posible, mínimo podéis ir a ayudar (limpiar, donar, pasear perros.etc).

Tienen muy buenas instalaciones, cuidan muy bien a los animales, a los voluntarios se les nota que adoran a los animales. Hacen una gran labor.

Es un sitio mágico. Lo recomiendo para ir de voluntario a sacar a los perretes. Hay para todos. Gran familia, muy simpáticos y agradables.

Personal muy entregado a la labor. Para llegar, empieza en la rotonda del cementerio de Estepona, cogiendo camino a casares.

Eso de que tiene amor por los animales habría que verlo. Les avisé de que había un perrito abandonado bajo eso sol u con peligro de ser atropellado en la zona de los pedregales (al lado de ellos) y me dijeron que avisase a la policía local o a la perrera.
No tuvieron humanidad alguna con esta pobre criatura

Wonderful people working here, giving all their love to these helpless dogs. We adopted one and are very happy with her. Thanks to Adana she got a chance now has a happy home.

Very good staff, left them a dog lost from bad hunters. They took her without any problems.

El domingo fuimos a ver las instalaciones tengo que decir que el sitio está súper bien y limpio, animales bien cuidados y los empleados de lo mejor, íbamos con la idea de ver los perros para adoptar uno y al final nos trajimos a Cuco, lo mejor del mundo, ya nos lo dijo Angel y no se equivoco, gracias gracias y mil gracias, súper recomendable porfavor adoptar.

Dog shelter in Estepona a charity totally dependent upon public donations, no local Government financial help. Volunteers always welcome.

Nous avons adopté un petit chien dans un très agréable refuge au milieu de la montagne. Très bien géré et des nombreux bénévoles font un superbe travail.

A well organized, very clean and not too big shelter where you feel welcome, and visitors can come with an appointment 6 days a week. The Focus is the welfare of the dogs and not complicated procedures of adopcion. At least every document is just paperwork and doesnt give any insurance about anything.

I go there to walk dogs. Good exercise and always nice to meet new dogs. I take mine along too. Love the place. I also go every week to the Adana shop in town. Always find something great to buy.

Aquí adoptamos a nuestra perrita. El trato fue estupendo. Los animales superbien cuidados. Y el refugio muy limpio.

It is a wonderful sanctuary for abandoned dogs. They are cared for and given plenty of TLC. The adoption record is phenomenal.

Todo lo que se done sabes que va a ser bien utilizado.

Es un lugar ideal para los perros que han sido abandonados. Es muy amplio y limpio y las mascotas están muy buen cuidadas.

Best dog shelter I've ever been to with the most friendly and dedicated staff. Located in a beautiful, peaceful place up in a natural park with plenty of trails to walk the dogs through and have a hike. Worth visiting 100%.

I've also found and adopted a truly best friend in Adana. They have taken all the work for making a passport for her, implanted the chip and did all the vaccines necessary to travel - everything for a small, symbolic price which was so sweet of them. I wish the team best of luck and a lot of adoptions!

Un poco lamentable la verdad, me encontré un perro ahorcado de un árbol por el campo, lo llevé y me pidieron 150 euros por el chip y etc, el animal al mes tuvo la suerte de ser adoptado y también le pidieron dinero al dueño por adoptar en concepto de lo mismo que a mí. Ponerle el chip, comida, castración etc. Un negocio vamos.

I have fostered several dogs from this excellent rescue and finally the time was right for me to adopt. The Volunteers and facilities here are truly inspiring.

Very friendly staff in both English and Spanish.
Found a beautiful podenco and took her home straight away.

Quería dejarles un perro abandonado de un alcohólico y que lo legalizasen con sus papeles chip y vacunas pagándolo para hacerme cargo de el desde principios de agosto y me dijeron que lo tendría que dejar en adopción pero podría ser que cuando lo quiero recoger alguien lo ha adoptado ya? Donde está ese amor por los animales? Parece que es como otro negocio capitalista cualquiera. Muy pero muy mal!

Our 18 year old dog died in June who we rescued in the uk when he was a puppy and we felt ready to adopt a new dog to fill the hole in our lives. The staff and volunteers at Adana were amazing, the kennels are spotless and the dogs are well cared for, and we were lucky to adopt a wonderful puppy who has made us smile again, thank you Adana

I adopted a dog through Adana. Everything worked out great. You get all relevant paperwork and so on. I highly recommend Adana.

Tengo esperanza en que algún día los perros y el resto de los animales sean tratados con el respeto que merecen. Ellos son como niños que nunca crecen y los humanos tenemos que valorar todo lo que nos aportan. Los animales no son cosas, son seres sintientes y sufren nuestro desequilibrio.

Can't speak too highly of them. Amazing dedication. We have had our beautifully behaved, friendly, undemanding ADANA dog for three years now - she came chipped, vaccinated and sterilised. Just about everyone we know has an ADANA dog in fact! We absolutely recommend this organisation.

My husband and myself went to Adana ourselves today just to see what it was like.
Well, what can I say.
The dogs are really well looked after bless them and the staff are very friendly and special people.
My husband and I got to take 2 dogs for a little bit of exercise.
Everything helps Adana. It is all run by donations, the staff love the dogs very much. Actually I would like to change my review of Adana.
After being there a few times, the people are not what they seem to be, helping them by taking the poor dogs for a walk and donating a big Black Bin Bag of items that are to do with Dogs it's all taken for granted.
The more you go, you will see, so we will never go there again

Excellent centre. We adopted a fabulous pup who is living happily with her big sister in the UK, and looking forward to a holiday in Spain at Christmas. Highly recommend.

Nunca he visto unas perreras tan limpias ni unos perros tan felices a pesar de que no tienen un hogar aún. Se nota la vocación de los que gestionan la ong. Si estáis pensando en adoptar pasaos por allí.

Magnifique refuge et gentil accueil pour le chien de ma grand-mère, qui est aujourdhui dans une maison de repos où les chiens ne sont mal heureusement pas admis. Nous espérons de tout cœur que Yankee puisse retrouver une famille pour partager sa joie de vivre. Thanks at the team of Adana to look after him and find a new home.

The five star example for dog rehoming and rescue on the Costa del Sol. Wonderful people who care about animals and give their time and labour to prove it.

The staff and volunteers do a fantastic job. We've adopted two dogs from there and they are both great dogs. Only wish we had the room for more.

A lovely shelter! And thanks to all the volunteers that takes the dogs out for a walk and cuddling, they help the dogs to get used to people. Very loving and unselfish. We just got a beautiful puppy and he will be coming back with us to Sweden.

Lovely place with great people who really care for the dogs. The dogs are well taken care off and provided every need. A lot of wonderful dogs who need a forever home. Definitely worth to come and visit the dogs to walk them or adopt one of them.

This is one of the best dog rescue centre's I know. The dogs are so well looked after, cared for and loved.
