EXPERIENCIA HORRIBLE! Fuimos a alquilar dos bicicletas, para mi y para mi mujer con toda la ilusión. Nos alquilaron unas bicicletas sin frenos y sucias, lo vimos a solo unos metros de la tienda que no frenaban INCREIBLE! Fui a decirles.y me salen dos tipos de forma chulesca, uno de ellos con la gorra para atrás
"Que eso no era su problema, que estaban bien cuando las alquilamos" después de discutir, nos fuimos sin alquilar, en definitiva. No volveremos JAMÁS a esa tienda. No la recomiendo a nadie!

Alquilamos dos bicicletas de montaña para toda la semana. Los empleados son muy amables, serviciales y se tomaron su tiempo. El precio del alquiler fue muy justo y las bicicletas estaban muy bien mantenidas y cuidadas. Muchas gracias, ¡volveríamos!

I rented a bike. I did not know exactly how long I would like to have it, but that was no problem; I could return any day I wanted. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Because of the pickup / return time I was charged one day less than expected. I can for sure recommend renting a bike here.

These guys were amazing, so helpful and bailed my Mrs out when her crank snapped, repaired her bike on the spot and at a great price.

I can’t recommend this shop enough. Gabriel is super professional and kind. Don’t hesitate to take your bike here. Highly recommended. Worth the journey if you are far. Amazing service. I have a performance Felf AR FRD and he took care of every bit of it. Bike runs super smooth.

Decided not to rent. Got ranted at about bank costs. Didn't seem too happy to have customers.

The staff could not have been more helpful. We went in with a problem with my sons bike on the off chance they would help and they couldn't have been more welcoming, knowledgable and helpful! Solved the problem there and then in a matter of minutes. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Not a real bike shop I took my bike and they said 10 days to get repaired and in other bike shops they do it in one day they just rent bikes for 14 euros and if you don't have you dni or NIE then you have to pay 200 euros and then they give the money back unacceptable

Soy de Madrid, tengo 7 bicis de todo tipo y a pesar de tener dos talleres de prestigio a 10 minutos de mi casa prefiero aprovechar mis viajes a San Pedro para traerlas aquí y realizar las revisiones y otras tareas de mantenimiento.

Can't fault the place, great bike. Well maintained, really good advice about local area and places to visit. I will definitely use this place again if I return. Thanks again Bike Base!

Habían 2 sujetos mal educados que seguramente no serán los propietarios (ESO ESPERO), nada mas llegar a la puerta sin al menos decir un “HOLA” o “BUENOS DÍAS”… ya saltaron y dijeron que no tocaban el patinete porque “ES CHINO”… y intenté decirles que solo era para mirar el neumático y volvieron a repetirme groseramente que “no lo tocava porque era chino”… la pregunta es: “hay algo hoy día en este mundo que no sea chino? ” Existe marca española de patinetes? Creo yo que un arreglo de neumáticos da igual la nacionalidad… el problema son las formas! Me he ido del local alagándoles de su forma de atender a los clientes y que sigan así que les va a ir de buena madre el local.

Pues me han atendido bastante mal, no hemos podido alquilar porque el horarios era un problema y no daban facilidades, los precios han subido y son muy caros, por el contrario las bicis son horribles. En conclusion nos hemos ido a Samoa en Marbella y ha sido todo lo contrario, amables, todo facilidades con los horarios, mucho mejores bicis y precios

Great mtb store offering different brands to the usual bike shops and friendly staff across the board. Had my first big bike built up few months ago by them and running smooth. Really good after support and super fast service, just an hour same day for a lowers fork and general service. Check em out

Took our reservation for four bikes for the next day by phone, and said we just needed to pay a deposit by the end of the day. Drove there to pay the deposit and they had already rented the bikes to someone else. Said they accidently took another booking on another computer. Really messed up our plans as too late to make alternative arrangements.

Really great service! Went in there this morning with a problem with my bike, they assessed the issue accurately and sold me the piece I needed and it's all fixed. Grateful for their professional help:)

Awesome bike shop, I have been using Bike Base for the last 6 months and have been super useful. Great range of products and always happy to answer my questions and queries, with fantastic knowledge.

Great advice and selection of bikes. I bought a traditional city bike, which unfortunately had something wrong, the next day owner of the shop brought to my home 3 different bikes, so I could choose another one or have a full refund. I think that bike shop with such a great service and friendly people is a real treasure to have near by. Thanks for helping me!

meet the owner back in December, cool guy from Germany,
we spoke about mountain bikes.and renting in the future, terms and prices.

I told him I will try the E-bikes at some point.

I stoped by the store several times,
when I was ready to rent it they didn’t have the wright bike for me.

Finally when I rented
the correct bike, I asked specific time
of picking up.

When today I went to pick it up they wanted
to charge me for two days.trying to explain to the cool German Owner
but impossible to co.

He wish me luck after all.

Customer is not priority for him.

Compre una bicicleta electrica ahi y al ano se me ha roto algo. Al llevar la bici a la misma tienda en el mismo lugar, me ha dicho la misma gente del ano pasado que la tienda ha cambiado de dueno y que ellos no tienen nada que ver con la marca de mi bicicleta. Es decir que no pueden / no les interesa repararla. Aun tengo que encontrar otra tienda que me la repare, pero al 'Bike Base' no regresare jamas!

One of the best if not the best bike shop in the area.
Helped us out on short notice with three excellent bikes and gave us a great deal on the rental.
Very good quality and well maintained bikes.
They are open all day so dropping off or picking up during siesta is no problem unlike some of the other rental places.

. Best e-bike tour ever! Normally I am not so “into” biking, but the explanations and technic advices of our guide Jan as well as the 1A equipment helped me a lot to gain self confidence within a short period of time and so I had the chance to enjoy a beautiful piece of nature.thanks a lot again!

Friends have been impressed with their rentals as much cheaper than some bike shops. Ride down to the beach then all the way along the Paseo to Marbella
Or up the hill to Ronda!

Bike Base has a very large selection of rental bikes at very good prices. E-bikes for rent are also available at the best conditions.

Renting bikes is a good alternative for tourists, but these guys demand that you leave your passport with them, making it less attractive. Not a risk I’m willing to take.
Bike theft also is not uncommon in these areas. They provide a lock, but.is the risk worth it?

I can recommend 100% bike base in san pedro. The team is very helpful even when the shop is full, Stefan and Nico always have a friendly smile ready.top mechanic.the best prices on the whole coast. Bicycles are in top condition whether city bikes or elektrik MTB.

If you want to do a road bike tour with Stefan you should go to bed early the evening before and have a good breakfast in the morning.sometimes it seemed to me that Stefan has a motor in his racing bike as strong as he conquers the climbs.great team

My husband and I did a bike ride with Jan, on e-mountain bikes, and it was superb! Jan was a great guide and a great teacher - I learned a lot about technique from him and we both felt that he really knew the route and were confident following him. Definitely recommend.

if you don´t like playing golf all day, hire bikes at the Bike Base.
They offer different bikes such as mountain bikes, e-mountain bikes, racing bicycles or trekking bikes and so on. So, there is a bike for everyone.

The bikes are in a very good quality and the tour guide knows very good trips for every fitness level. I drove a mountain bike for my first time and he explains very well what I have to consider driving a mountain bike.  

The owner and his staff give good advice where you can go, enjoying the best landscapes or what is a suitable tour for your skills and fitness.

I can also recommend the guides tours, which the shops offer. My favourite one was the bike tour around Tarifa. Mainly you drive on single trail, which is quite exciting because you have to think where to go best with the bike (so it is not like doing a bike tour in Germany where you have your concrete trail). The view during the tour is amazing – you can see Africa! After the tour you can get a refreshment in the Mediterranean Sea

I can recommend the bike tour starting in Istán (shuttle service to Istán is included in the tour) and then driving to Marbella and at the end you are driving from Marbella to San Pedro along the beach.

If you don´t like doing cycling tours your whole holidays: go canyoning. There you walk or swim through a river which is perfect for very hot days.

Great place to rent bikes in San Pedro. They bend over backwards to accomodate. We rented 2 ebikes. Prices are very reasonable for 24 hours. Location is perfect for San Pedro. You can jump on the bikes and head straight towards the Sea where you can ride along the San Pedro Promenade (Boardwalk). From here you can basically ride very conveniently to Puerto Banus & Downtown Marbella. Definitley renting again when I return.
