Café Bar Central

La comida fue entregada inesperadamente rápido. Estaba sabroso y fresco. La camarera hablaba un poco mal inglés, pero, por supuesto, eso no fue culpa suya. Recomiendo probar las anchoas fritas.

Restaurante para turistas: comida mala y cara. Te obligan a comer para poder sentarte en una mesa.

Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante en este restaurante. La carne era completamente desagradable, similar a masticar suelas de zapatos. Las patatas fritas estaban lejos de estar crujientes y daban la impresión de estar poco cocidas. El marisco frito no era comestible y sabía como si estuviera en mal estado. El servicio era extremadamente lento y, para aumentar la incomodidad, los mendigos nos interrumpían constantemente cada cinco minutos, lo que hacía imposible relajarnos y disfrutar de la comida.

Comida no fresca, demasiado cara para lo que ofrecen, miembros del personal antipáticos.

Este pepino es “el más fresco” que he podido ver jamás. Olía como si estuviera apagado como hace unos días.

No lo recomiendo.

Comida riquísima, muy buena calidad precio y camareros muy atentos. Comimos la ensalada de aguacate y gambas con salsa rosa que está espectacular y el pulpo a la gallega riquísimo también.

The worst customer service ever! I won’t return to marbella.

En Español: Tanto el dueño como sus empleados, no tienen la menor idea del servicio al cliente. Necios, ensimismados y muy mammones.

Muchos de los establecimientos de marbella, carecen de un buen servicio cordial al cliente; groseros, necios y no les interesa el turismo. Así, van a terminar llevando a la quiebra a la propia ciudad.

Y me hago responsable de mi comentario.

Solo fui a tomar un café y es el peor que me he tomado nunca, le dejé entero y me cobraron 5 euros por dos cafés, de vergüenza

Queríamos desayunar antes de las 10: 00 am.
A falta de alternativas, terminamos aquí.
Hubiéramos preferido saltarnos el "desayuno". Servicio lento y desatento sin amor. Dos huevos fritos con una rebanada de pan sin guarnición 7,50€, zumo de mango en copa de vino 8,50€ y café para dos 36€. Luego tuvimos que esperar otros 10 minutos para el cambio.
Vete a otro sitio, no merece la pena.

El señor de la caja es arrogante y grosero, cambia de trabajo porque tienes un bar en un lugar hermoso pero lamentablemente te falta amabilidad y humildad!

Plaza central muy bonita, todo estaba delicioso, pero la relación calidad/precio era demasiado alta, 6,50 por un croissant de Nutella, lo cual era excesivo, ni siquiera en Venecia.

Servicio muy malo y unos mal educados, les devolvimos una cerveza que nos trajeron 30 minutos más tarde cuando estábamos pagando y nos la quitaron de malas maneras y diciéndonos que no volviéramos a Marbella

La mala educación de los empleados (por llamarlo de alguna manera) y del dueño del sitio, junto a los desorbitados precios debería provocar su cierre inmediato

Tout a été parfait! Serveur Anton bienveillant, disponible, souriant et sympathique! Plats copieux et excellents! Robo de toro et calamar à la plancha fondants! Vin et bière à températures parfaites! Restaurant ouvert en ce dimanche soir, hors saison alors que nombreux restaurants à Marbella sont fermés! Merci!

It has a very good location, outdoor ambiance for lunch or small bites and drinks.we took tapas and everything was good. Service is friendly and prompt.

The coffee is bland and service is disaster, slow and unfriendly, especially the blond lady. Don’t recommend.

Llegué a este sitio por casualidad, era uno de los pocos sitios abiertos en pleno día festivo. Pedimos la comida y las bebidas y al finalizar reviso la calificación en Google y para mi sorpresa es bastante baja, les cuento que nos fue demasiado bien.

Entonces me tomé el tiempo de revisar las valoraciones previas y he concluido varias cosas. Para empezar son valoraciones muy viejas, de varios años, por otro lado había un jefe que aparentemente no era muy amable, no se si sigue pero fuimos MUY bien atendidos por todo el personal, amables, dispuestos, muy atentos. También decían que se demoraba mucho la comida, pues fue bastante rápida, las porciones muy generosas, la calidad de la comida impecable, todo estaba muy rico. A mi parecer tomaron las recomendaciones negativas y las han tomado para de verdad mejorar lo cuál hace muy valioso este sitio. Dejen a un lado las pocas estrellas que tiene y siéntense a disfrutar de la comida, vale la pena.

Bonito lugar para comer en plaza los naranjos, los platos no son caros ni baratos (es Marbella), la atención de los camareros es excelente, las croquetas llegaron un poco frías en su interior pero estaban buenas, el estofado estaba muy bien en sabor y cantidad, la lasagna estaba buena, pero también fría. Por eso solo bajo una estrella. Sitio recomendable

Thought we had found the perfect spot to watch the world go by at the Cafe Bar Central - sat down and waited to be served, after no staff coming out to us we went in to order - our drinks were lovely, we then asked if we could order food - the lady serving said she would be back to us - after waiting another 15-20 mins where she walked past us several times - we had to go to her again and ask for the bill, we gave up on the food - she shouted at us it’s €20 - the place wasn’t overly busy so no excuse for such poor and rude service, the two ladies serving didn’t crack a smile between them. Would choose a different place next time we visit - My advice would be try elsewhere (food may be lovely unfortunately due to poor service we didn’t get the opportunity to try it)

Very poor service. Staff were incredibly rude. Food was below average and overpriced for the quality. Staff took wrong order details and were very argumentative when questioned. Would not recommend. Plenty of other choices near by.

I am only leaving one star because I cant leave zero. Rudest staff. Tried to double charge us and argued with us that we ordered 3 breakfasts - we are only 2 people and ate two breakfasts.
Nevertheless, they shouted and were clearly trying to RIP us off as tourists. ALL staff were rude, aggressive and highly argumentive. We had just got to Marbella and were incredibly confused and upset by this behaviour.
And the food was mediocre.
A horrid start to a well needed holiday after 3 years pandemic.
Awful.
Unprofessional.

Not bad but I think some of the staff had a bad day or maybe my criteria of good service is quite high. Food was ok. The ambiance is great because of the plaza but I would choose a different place next time.

Tardan muchísimo en atenderte, no pidas 1/2 fritura aunque vayas sól@, y aunque hayas ido expresamente a probarla, no tendrán el detalle de ponerte la mitad de la ración aunque se lo pidas con cariño e insistas. La caña de 3€ es la de la foto

Service is good, quick and professional but food… totally different story, the grilled octopus is so hard and chewy that it is hard to swallow (shame for Andalucia!), the potatoes served with it are bland and tasteless.

Rude service! They don’t even have a non-dairy milk option! In 2022 in the hot spot of Marbella they should at least have one!

Poor quality food. Tomato taste horrible. Fish even worst. Cesar salad not even close to be good.

Best Pina Colada ever! Fresh juices and very child friendly (my two year old got his food first, which is perfect cause he didn't need to wait untill our paella arrived). The location is so beautiful, even more so in the evening. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful location almost too big meals. My mom couldn't stuff herself neither my wife. Very tasty. This location is sooo beautiful.
I really would suggest the cold and warm tapas with salad (5+5 portions) for three-four persons. For a starter and then decide if you want anything more.

Very slow and unfriendly service. I ordered a mushroom omelette. Omlette tasted like nothing and mushrooms weren't fresh but from a can.

Dirty tables and table cloth, cava small bottle at 9 euro: says Brut in the menu but in reality is not brut

Quedamos muy satisfechos. La atención de Sandra es extraordinaria, atenta pero sin molestar. Tomamos fritura malagueña muy rica. Vale lo que cuesta. Y paella de marisco. Para 2 comimos 3.

Si quieren una cerveza bien fría tras un paseo por las calles del casco histórico, aquí tienen un sitio idóneo en una plaza preciosa.

Don't go there. We we're charged 13€ for plain pasta for kids - the same price as pasta bolognese. Service is miserable and the place is smelly and not very clean.

It's a tourist trap. Be aware: Noodle and rice dishes come 2min after ordering, can not be freshly made at all. Staff is cheeky and feels not responsible.

Restaurante agradable en un sitio emblemático, la Plaza de los Naranjos, al lado de la Oficina de Turismo y el Ayuntamiento. Carta muy variada y precios conforme a la zona.

Trato muy agradable. De todos los sitios de la plaza Los Naranjos es el que mas me ha sorprendido por su limpieza y desinfección contra el covid.
PRECIO DE JARRA CERVEZA 3.50 Y CON MANTEL.
No dejes de visitarlo.

Paramos a tomar algo. La atención no es mala, pero 6 euros por meter 1 pera en una licuadora me parece un poco caro.

Loved itThere is nothing better then sitting next to Orange Square with a nice glass of Spanish wine. Orange Square for me is the most beautiful place of Marbella and Cafe Bar Central is always giving us the best service every time we visit. For me and my friends we give them 10points. Top Class

This restaurant is in a great location overseeing the beautiful Plaza de los Naranjos. We've been there twice and the food was rather expensive for the quality delivered and by comparison with the other restaurants nearby. We found the service average first time and pretty poor the second time, it kind of spoiled the experience. Sadly, the staff lack some very basic customer service abilities. We're not going to return although we liked the location.

Fantastic location and great for relaxing, people watching and having a snack, prices are lower in general to what you would expect in Orange Square as its a real tourist trap, this is one of the cheaper places. Great fresh Juice, I enjoyed my Omelette and the other half had Fried squid and chips, we both enjoyed her dish as it was a large portion. I read some comments about bad service we did not experience that, the outside was full and the food was quick and hot we had two waitresses looking after us and they were very efficient and friendly. We have been here before some time ago so made a B line here due to our previous positive experience.

Great place to watch the pseudo rich walk by. On the main square in the old town. Great service.

Encore un restaurant à touristes comme il en existe des centaines à Marbella. Tomates dures, mozzarella sans goût et trop ferme. Mangue vraiment pas bonne. Personnel pas du tout accueillant. Mais à la fin du service, ils ont fini par se dérider et les prix sont abordables aux vues de la quantité servie.

Muy ricas tapas pero queremos destacar la atención de la camarera, una joven rubia muy amable y simpática, que hasta nos recomendó ir a una playa -la de La pesquera- que nos resultó preciosa. Gracias, señorita!

Nice place atmosphere-wise to eat or have a drink. Can be very busy and for us the waiters had little time. Food was mediocre, so I would recommend a different restaurant at the square.

Very bad service, they lured us in with an ice cold beer, we asked about booking as we looked at their lunch time menu which they told us we needed to book for the evening but did not make it clear it was a different menu and we had to sit somewhere else even though we looked at the menu for the same time we wanted to eat. Waitress was very argumentative as we said we wanted to get a refund or use £50 deposit they made us pay against the drinks she advised this was not allowed. I asked to speak to the manager they said not possible and we would have to pay €2 per person as we had messed up the table totally not true table did not have a mark on it. On a positive note we met some amazing people from Belgium who recommended a lovely restaurant looking forward to tomorrow xx

Mauvais service et mauvaise foi! On commande du pain pour 2 personnes, elles ne le servent pas et nous le facturent 3 fois! Quand on essaie d'en discuter, ces serveuses désagréables, qui ne sourient pas, défendent le contraire! C'est un scandale! Jamais vu ça! Dommage car leur daurade était bonne! Elle reste amère à présent!
