Camino Surfcamp Andalucia

Ein super schönes kleines Surfcamp mit tollen Leuten und einer tollen Atmosphäre! Die Surfstunden und Spots waren Klasse und die Landschaft rundherum auf jeden Fall sehenswert.

Süßes Camp in authentischer Lage etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom nächsten Strand entfernt. Es herrscht eine familiäre Stimmung und alle sind super nett und bemüht. Das Essen ist richtig gut und abwechslungsreich, Preis-Leistung ist top und das Camp auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

We stayed there already twice, because this camp is just great: the best (vegetarian) food you can imagine, a lovely team and really professional and experienced surf instructors. We felt at home from the very first moment and definitely it was not the last time we spent there! 100% recommendation!

As well as great surf conditions and weather, the best surf trips are all about the people you get to meet. At Camino surf camp Andalucia, there is simply the best team looking after you. They were so caring, thoughtful, and engaging and they made our trip so special. You get two top surf coaches thrown into the mix who have the perfect balance of surf knowledge, encouragement and know all the bets places so given the conditions you have confidence you are in the right place in the right hands - also really appreciated these guys hanging around to socialise so that we all felt like one big team. Amazing!

I stayed for 10 days and I was so happy with everything! Great location & people, very relaxed atmosphere and amazing food. The surf classes were just perfect and really professional, I learned so much more than in other places thanks to Edu:) It was a great combination with beeing in the water and theory (with video & Surfskate), which helped me a lot. They had many different and really good surfboards and beginner and intermediates went to different classes at the best time for their level. I would definetely recommend caminosurf)

Gluten free? Have no fear, this place is just exceptional. I have coeliac disease and I have never been catered for and looked after in the way I was here. I was able to eat perfect surf camp food without a second thought which was just unbelievable for me and made the whole experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks to everyone (and Kathrin in particular).

Definitiv ein Surfcamp, bei dem der Fokus auf Surfen lernen und verbessern gelegt wird. Die Coaches sind super motiviert, man verbringt pro Session mehr als 2 Stunden im Wasser und Theoriestunden gibt es auch. Zusätzlich gibt es zweimal die Woche eine Videoanalyse, sodass man die Chance hat sich selbst beim Surfen zu sehen und sich zu verbessern.
Das gesamte Team im Camp ist super nett, immer hilfsbereit und das Abendessen ist definitiv jeden Tag ein leckeres Highlight.
Ich kann das Camp uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Hasta luego!

Lindo campamento en una ubicación auténtica a unos 5 minutos a pie de la playa más cercana. Hay un ambiente familiar y todos son súper amables y serviciales. La comida es muy buena y variada, la relación calidad-precio es excelente y el campamento definitivamente se puede recomendar.

¡Me quedé 10 días y quedé muy feliz con todo! Excelente ubicación y gente, ambiente muy relajado y comida increíble. Las clases de surf fueron simplemente perfectas y realmente profesionales, aprendí mucho más que en otros lugares gracias a Edu:) Fue una gran combinación con estar en el agua y teoría (con video y Surfskate), lo que me ayudó mucho. Tenían muchas tablas de surf diferentes y realmente buenas, y los principiantes e intermedios asistieron a diferentes clases en el mejor momento para su nivel. Definitivamente recomendaría caminosurf)

The Camino surfcamp in Canos de Meca is a wonderful camp in which you will immediately feel at home. The professional surfclasses, delicious food, the nice accommodations and the very friendly staff make this Camp a great experience! One of the best holidays I've ever had:)

This camp is an absolute win for everyone attending it!
The trainers and management really want to teach you how to surf and not just deliver a cheap "surf experience". An extremely well thought through training plan, great food and accomodation as well as flexibility and helpfulness are just a few of the traits of this surf camp!

If I could give it more stars, I gladly would!

¡Este campamento es una victoria absoluta para todos los que asisten!
Los entrenadores y la gerencia realmente quieren enseñarte a surfear y no solo ofrecerte una "experiencia de surf" barata. ¡Un plan de entrenamiento extremadamente bien pensado, excelente comida y alojamiento, así como flexibilidad y amabilidad son solo algunas de las características de este campamento de surf!

Trotz Corona-Krise hatten wir eine wahnsinnig schöne und unterhaltsame Zeit bei euch im Camino Surfcamp. Wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit willkommen und in sicheren Händen! Das gesamte Camino-Team hat sich rundum die Uhr bemüht, uns eine gute, abwechslungsreiche und spaßige sowie sorgenfreie Zeit zu ermöglichen und das, obwohl aufgrund der derzeitigen Situation keine Surfkurse stattfinden konnten. Natürlich bedauern wir die Tatsache sehr, dass wir die Gelegenheit zum Surfen nicht nutzen konnten, aber das lässt sich in naher Zukunft hoffentlich nachholen. Auch für unser kulinarisches Wohlergehen wurde gesorgt und wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Kochkunst von Simon und Elke.

Die Kommunikation mit Peter vorab und während unseres Aufenthalts in Spanien bezüglich der Anreise und unserer individuellen Sorgen war großartig und demnach absolut zufriedenstellend.

Wir danken dem gesamten Camino-Team für eure Kreativität, eure Flexibilität und dass ihr auch in diesen außergewöhnlichen Zeiten euren Humor nicht verloren habt!

3 to 3.5 stars: Recommend for people that have average expectations for the accommodation and only for a nice weather stay, so check the weather in advance:

Pros:
- Perfect teachers that love surfing for life and are also really great in teaching (thank you Simon and Marc)
- really great food and huge portions. You wont be hungry there, promise:)
- Very beautiful beaches nearby
- The staff is amazing: The helping hands are gentle and great to have fun with as well as the instructors. Everyone is really helpful.
- perfect for surfing when the conditions are right

Cons:
- The accomondation seems a little bit "cold": If you have bad weather, there is almost no nice common room and the dorms are very small. The touch of a lovingly accomondation is completely missing. You just stay there, because you have to.
- During my stay (2 weeks) my room wasn't really cleaned. The other guests confirmed that when I asked about their opinion. There was just a minimum effort being seen. (Towels weren't washed/replaced during the whole stay and the bed weren't made until a new guest arrived)
- In addition, what bothered me a little was a little bit the breakfast: It was allways the same food from Aldi / Lidl. A little bit of love and diversity would have been nice.
Also the left overs (one could use for lunch) were only for the helping hands.
- Pick ups are definitely too expensive!
- Beverages are too expensive too. Furthermore the only fridge there is you are forbidden to use why you have to consume there.

Super Camp, tolle Leute und sehr feines Essen.
Ich habe den Aufenthalt in dem familiären Surfcamp sehr genossen. Die Surf- und Theoriesessions waren immer sehr lustig und gleichzeitig lehrreich. Vielen Dank dafür an Simon und Marc)
Wenn man auf eigene Faust losziehen will, sollte man am besten mit einem Fahrzeug anreisen, da der nächste Surfspot etwa 1.4 km entfernt ist und somit nicht unbedingt in Laufdistanz.
Leider musste ich aus familiären Gründen schon vorzeitig abreisen. Freundlicherweise wurde mir jedoch ein großer Anteil des verbleibenden Buchungszeitraumes als Rabatt für den nächsten Aufenthalt zugesichert. Alles in allem hatte ich eine wirklich schöne Zeit und freue mich schon darauf bald wieder einmal vorbeizukommen.

Super Camp. Sehr gemütliche und entspannte Atmosphäre. Staff vor Ort sehr freundlich und persönlich im Umgang. Fantastisches Essen. Jederzeit wieder.

We had a group surf camp for one week coming from Belarus and that was amazing time in nice atmosphere and true surfers around. New experience, new friends, new feelings! Super cool place:)
