Chiringuito Caleta Playa

Regulín, comimos hoy con mi esposa. Pedimos gambas blancas (muy bien), ensalada con pollo bacon y brie.en la carta no decía que el pollo era empanado y tampoco que venía con una salsa tipo mahonesa encima (hay que detallar qué tiene el plato por ciertas restricciones que puede tener el cliente), una dorada a la plancha con patatas por la que cobraron 23 euros.carísimo sabiendo que la dorada es un pescado barato. Pagué casi 70 euros sin vino ni postre.he comido mucho mejor en otros sitios por menos.

Bonito restaurante en la playa que prepara pescado fresco a la barbacoa. Tardaron un poco en sentarse, unos 10 minutos. La comida era buena. Comimos croquetas de gambas, gazpacho, 2 raciones de sardinas a la plancha, pulpo a la plancha junto con una copa de vino blanco y una pinta de cerveza. La ubicación era estupenda ya que estaba en la playa. El servicio fue un poco lento. Precio 62€

Me gustaría darle 0 estrellas, más que camareros antipáticos, arrogantes, ¡cuidado con una estafa!

Servicio lento aunque no haya mucha gente.
Nivel de precios escandalosamente alto: el doble en comparación con cualquier otro lugar que haya visitado durante una semana.
Para mí fueron dos visitas al mismo tiempo: la primera y la última. No recomiendo a nadie este lugar. Hay muchas alternativas disponibles.

Todos los clientes se divirtieron, incluso el personal, mientras estuve allí. ¡¡Muchas gracias por el increíble servicio!

La apariencia exterior de este establecimiento no da ninguna indicación de la calidad de la comida que se sirve en el interior.
Excelente pescado y marisco fresco.
No es el más barato de ninguna manera, pero sigue siendo una buena relación calidad-precio, especialmente en comparación con los precios en Inglaterra.

Buen chiringuito para comer comida típica de la zona, un arroz o especialmente la fideuá.
Mucho movimiento de personal, en cuanto te toman nota te sirven muy rápido.

La sombrilla fue alquilada a dos desconocidos al mismo tiempo. Si no quieres tumbarte cerca de un completo desconocido, sólo puede haber una persona a la sombra. Un cambio no fue posible ni siquiera a pedido.
El personal del restaurante era antipático, así que me abstuve de consumirlo.

Hemos ido a cenar y hemos pedido una fritura malagueña para 2 estaba riquísima, y a muy buen precio. Pedimos 2 botellas de agua grandes para beber, y nos pusieron 2 panecitos. Todo por 37€. Recomendadisimo.

Even as a single bloke with a bit of a hangover, this place is a dump. The food is average, the service is mediocre but most of all the male staff are that particular type of Spanish male that just resent tourists and don't care because they know next season a whole new set of victims will venture in because they're out walking the beach. Do not give these people your money, there are loads of lovely bars and restaurants in Malaga this is not one of them.

Service so slow waited over 40 minutes and no food order taken. Mega attitude from waiter when requested bill for drink and slammed this down on bar and took his time to return change.
Would not return.

Lovely sea front restaurant. Worth the visit. Grilled fish and a wide selection of shellfish. Friendly staff.

The sardines were good. So the next day we ordered paella (she was also good) and fish soup. The staff forgot to bring it to us, but they included it in our receipt. However, they accepted the complaint.

Today we ordered a liter sangria. The bill was about 15 eur. Like the pricelist. Paid by card. Later at home realised that they charged and deducted 20 eur! Without asking me. I know, my mistake not checking the terminal just touching my card. But disgusting.

Situado en el Paseo Marítimo P. R. Picasso de Málaga, el chiringuito Caleta Playa es un establecimiento muy concurrido en el que degustar buenos pescados a buen precio.
Servicio ràpido y eficiente.
Buenas instalaciones, con una terraza frente al mar muy agradable.

Great views from this beach bar! The food was good, a little more expensive due to the location. The toilets weren't very good, that was the only disappointing thing at this bar.

El sitio es espectacular, el mejor del paseo marítimo por situación, etc. El personal es superatento y amable y la carta estupenda. Música, buen ambiente y playa a precio inmejorable por calidad y servicio.
No entiendo los comentarios negativos porque no lo merecen.
Además cuenta con parque infantil y campito de fútbol en la playa por si vas con niños, el sitio perfecto.

Bad service (forgot our order, forgot the extra lemon we ordered and the bill was also forgotten 2x. Okey food and higher beach prices.

I ordered 2 unit of sardins and sardins served are not usually served as big as the one I got. When they are big the inner organs have to be removed, wich they were not. I love sardins.
I also ordered barbequed squid with frites. It was dry and tasteless. Even the pommes frites tasted as if they were full of oil.
I found a coup of sangria of 7euro is a bit overpriced.
The service was normal.

Food was okay. Waiter made a huge deal of me ordering squid, asking "The big one? !? ! " at least twice. Squid was not that big when it arrived.

Reason for one star is we saw a waiter scream at a diner for asking an innocent question. Diner has requested a beer, waiter said sure and went to get it.

Cos the service is so slow, the diner went to ask about the beer when it hadn't arrived 10 mins later. The waiter screamed "You asked for a beer, I said I will get you one, WHAT is the problem? ".

Diner meekly responded "I didn't hear you say that.it's been over 10 mins. ".

Would not come back or recommend after witnessing that.

Malisimos los arroces además de caros! El lenguado mal descongelado igual que los langostinos plancha. El servicio fatal. Aunque el sitio es muy bonito, en la misma playa, con buena terraza, no merece la pena.

Restaurant sur la plage, paillotes, poisson frais, poulpe tout était bien, de plus service sympa. Je conseille fortement.

Vraiment très bon.
Les produits sont frais, cuit à la braise.
C'est délicieux.
Tout est bon.

Inmejorable lugar para comer, no solo por su situación inmejorable, si no por su servicio: agradable, cercano, amable y muy cordial. Abundante comida en cada plato y muy buen precio.
En fin, un lugar que no puedes dejar de visitar si vas a Malaga.

Beautiful beach side location. Friendly staff and tasty food in good portion sizes. Wished we had found it earlier in our holiday.

Very clean looking. We only wanted a drink so were invited to take a table in the shade. I felt like a second class customer.

Me ha gustado la comida. Agradable trato. Lo único incómodo fue intentar conversar entre los gritos de la mesa de al lado. Volveré pero la próxima mesa bien alejada.

El lugar está muy bien, pero al principio me atendieron muy bien, pero a la hora de pedir la cuenta, tenían una desorganización, se tardó, me hicieron ir a pagar a la barra y allí sin el número de la mesa que tiene que indicar el camarero fué otro problema.
Le pongo tres estrellas porque el desayuno estaba bien y las vistas de la playa son fenomenales, ya que el servicio dejó mucho que desear.

I was here in the morning (they do breakfast, if you actually get served). Service was so slow, I saw 3 tables sit down, wait.and leave. We had a lot of time so we weren't too bothered by the wait. When the waiter (not friendly at all) finally came to our table we ordered 2 mitad dobles (for those not from this region this is sort of the same as a cafe latte). They then put 2 massive beers on our table. The waiter was super annoyed with us as he thought we ordered 2 'pinta dobles', (which is not, and never has been a thing). He took the beers and ignored us until we finally walked away (no coffees no nada) after about 15 minutes. Not just rude but slow and confused. I can live with the just rude but this all was a bit much.

Horrible service. Lots of staff looking busy and stressed but somehow no one is getting served. Told no tables available when there actually was. Order took 20 mins. Food took another 45 mins. Trying to get the check another 20 minutes.

Hemos comido hoy y todo espectacular la atención de 10, el espeto de sardinas y el pulpo a la brasa buenísimo asi que nosotros muy contentos!

Estuve quince minutos esperando que alguien viniera, habia muchos camareros charlando entre ellos y con pocas ganas. Me fuí.

El camarero que se supone que es el encargado, es un despota, arrogante y mal educado.
Fuimos a tomar una cerveza, íbamos a estar 30 minutos y habían reservas a las 14.30 y llegamos a la una y no nos dejó sentarnos. Contradiciendo al resto del equipo de camareros que no tenían ningún problema. Además el tono que utilizó parecía que estaba molesto por poder tener más clientes. Además, habían más de 10 mesas vacías. Un profesional, entiende que no van a venir todas las reservas a la vez. Él no. Claramente, el servicio pésimo por su parte que era el encargado o eso quería aparentar.

This place HORRIBLE SERVICE.just horrible.
We decided to not eat since getting drinks was already a hassell. We wanted to get some beach chairs.this too was NOT possible.
Please.it might be nice & quiet, it is definitely overrated and the service sucks.

Good food in a very busy lunch venue. Staff were overstretched but were very friendly and helpful. The barbequed seafood was delicious and arrived quickly. We thought this was very good value - plenty of lovely seafood for four with a jug of sangria and water was under 70€.

Very bad service. They dont talk to you, when you say “Grazias” no answer not even a look. The food is not good- french fries are tasting so bad, they are from frozen stock. The packaging of ketchup is not ecological, small packages in aluminum. We got fish which wasnt done inside. Well, they dont care because they have got the best location, so people would come anyway.

Lovely location, arguably the best on this part of the Malaga beach. Seafood oriented. Good food, good service (off season). Pricey. Menu showed a complete grilled fish at 18 Euros but a bit of pointing and gesturing with the waiter established that only 25 Euro fish was available. Total lunch for 2 including 2 drinks neared 80 Euros. Nice for a celebration or last day of holiday.

The location is great, service was fine, but overpriced for what it is. You’ll also be charged for the bread you didn’t ask for or eat.

Spent 5 days in Malaga and visited this place twice. 4 adults and 2 kids. 1st time we got there at 11 AM and didn't leave until 4 pm. The kids ate their food and went back to the zip line in the sand (61 degrees / 16 grados in Diciembre 28 people!) Anyways, the food was superb, attention was also very good (Hi Cuba! A waiter from Cuba my birth country who rocked) We had everything. Espetos, pescaitos fritos, calamar, pulpo asado, etc.cervezas, alhambra especial, botella verde y botella ambar, vino and the bill was very reasonable (for those of you complaining it's expensive, what do you expect? You are sitting steps from the Mediterranean, in a beautiful city and you want free things? Unreal. I'd go back in a second.
