Club Calahonda - Crown Resorts

No recuerdo nada sobre el servicio, pero sí recuerdo que era un departamento bien mantenido con aire acondicionado y cocina en pleno funcionamiento y aparte de los mosquitos, que no es culpa del establecimiento, y las quemaduras solares, que era 100% todo.en mí siendo un idiota en el momento, disfruté de mi estancia aquí.
Esta experiencia fue en agosto de 2000, por lo que se desconoce si el lugar sigue siendo como era entonces.
Me encantaría volver a visitarlo algún día, pero es poco probable debido a problemas de salud, pero todavía tengo algunos recuerdos de mi estadía aquí, y la mayoría son positivos (los negativos no se deben a nada que haya hecho el resort)

Hotel con habitaciones espaciosas muy limpias con todo lo necesario sin lujos, un área de piscina bien agradable. Lo recomiendo

Very rundown compared to previous years, no reception open on site - you have to check in at another resort, no bars or restaurants open, no covers on the poolside umbrellas, you have to change your own bed linen and towels, clean ones are left outside your apartment. No curtains, only had the linings, kids park is almost non existent and no gym or kids club. A lot of lighting didn't work in the stairwells, obviously no longer being maintained as it used to. Security would not come when kids were jumping off the poolside bar roof into the pool at 11pm. Very disappointing this year.

Nice quiet location, seemed a little run down and could do with a renovation. There is no pool bar or snacks at the resort anymore and the closest bars or restaurants are atleast a 10 minute walk away. Both of the pools are in good condition though.

Los apartamentos estan genial, limpieza, amplitud, con todo lo necesario, aunque nos ha faltado alguna manta solo 2 para 4 camas. Ubicacion de la playa tienes que coger el coche para todo y mas si vas con niños. Y la playa llena de rocas, pero maravillosa.por la tarde no hay sol en la piscina, solo por las mañanas, la salida del parquin.un trozo de tierra no tiene espejo para salir y la visibilidad es nula. La piscina climatizada del otro resort cierra a las 6 de la tarde. Las instalaciones estan bien, pero creo q no volveria. La entrada es a las 4 de la tarde pero la salida a las 10 de la mañana, esto te hace perder dos mañanas, una de disfrute y otra de descanso. Este tambien es uno de los motivos que no volveria.

Muy buen lugar para una estadia corta. No hay pñayas cercanas pero su ubicación es buena y estacionamiento facil si vas en coche

Lovely urbanisation 5 minutes from the beach it's just set back enough to have a quiet location and yet 2 minute walk will put you amongst bars and restaurants. The co.plex has a nice pool area kids club paddle and tennis courts a fitness center and sauna. So always something to do. Would suit all groups of holiday makers.

El lugar muy lindo, pero con demasiados peros. Empiezo: 3er piso y escaleras.arrancamos mal. Un embole subir las maletas 3 pisos en vacaciones. Zona de tenis y paddle (si, pero) no hay recepción en el predio, tenes que ir a otro hotel de la misma empresa a 9 cuadras a pedir las cosas. Hay pileta climatizada dice el folleto, see debe estar climatizada para los esquimales.ahh me olvidaba.tenían sauna.y gimnasio.pero también a pedir la llave a la loma del.en fin si no lo queres tener abierto xq sale caro no lo vendas.

Needed a decorating and a bit old but I've heard this is being done this year full refurb poo good family and couples very relaxing stay

Un complejo muy tranquilo para pasar unos días con la familia.acogedor y apartamentos muy limpios.
Si pongo algo negativo es el colchón de matrimonio.le hacía falta un cambio.

Club Calahonda (CC) is the perfect place to have family holiday. Our apartment, although a bit dated, was comfortable with excellent air con, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine. And it backed onto the smaller and much quieter of the two pools which made it very easy for the kids to jump in the pool while we relaxed on the 'terrace'.

Kids club was great, especially the mini-disco and the free mini-bus to take us to the larger Crown Resorts Club Marbella (CM) complex was very handy (just a shame it only ran Mon - Fri and not at weekends; but it was only a 10 min walk so no big deal really).

CM is well worth a visit as the restaurant and bar are much bigger and better than CC as is the kids club. One thing that surprised us was that the CM restaurant had an extensive vegan and veggie menu that pleased the vegan in our family!

At CM we really enjoyed the Disney show on the Tuesday night and the Spanish day on the Wednesday - the paella and sangria were both great at the latter!

Away from Crown Resorts really loved eating out at Bogart's, a tapas and paella bar 5 mins walk from CC and the Mercadona supermarket, also 5 mins walk away from CC, was also great for supplies (especially their super cheap but lovely €1.98 cava). We had a car and enjoyed day trips to Cabopino Beach and Andy's Beach Bar, AquaMijas, Mijas and Gibraltar too.

Finally, all of the staff were great and really friendly especially the fabulous Animation team who ran the kids club and mini-discos as well as putting on the shows.

Muy buen para estar con la familia de vacaciones.los apartamentos muy bonitos y limpios.
Lo único negativo es el colchón de matrimonio, que necesita un cambio.

Very nice and friendly. Convenient to supermarket and beach. Bit of motorway noise but not a problem. Good pool.

Apartamentos muy correctos con piscina y pistas de tenis comunitarias. No muy céntrico y separado de la playa por la autopista. Cercano a Mijas, que es muy bonito.

Muy buen resort para pasar en familia. Los apartamentos muy completos y las instalaciones en general están muy bien. La dinamización de verano muy buena de parte del equipo de monitores.

El personal muy bien, el apartamento cumplía bastante bien pero nos tocó en la parte sin ascensor, de lo cual no avisan en la información online.

Todo estupendo, buena limpieza y servicios en general, el apartamento amplio y bien equipado, buenos servicios del complejo, por poner un pero, pondría toldos en las terrazas y arreglar la pista de padel que parece un camino de cabras

On a passé un très bon séjour mais le seule problème c'est qu'il est situé loin de ma plage et qu'il faut s'y rendre en voiture

First class attention nothing to much trouble from management to maid service.

Great beachclub with pleasant staff. Great pool and big rooms with kitchen, bar and all the trimmings. Needs new bigger flatscreens!

Really good. Staff at reception very professional. Speaking perfect English and Spanish. The apartment was ideal. So clean. The kitchen had everything possible you could need in a house. They came after 3 nights and change towels and beds. Very well located. Supermarket 2 minutes.literally. Beach 10 minutes. There is a lovely little area next to supermarket with several cafes and shops.we were so happy here we even enquired if they sold apartments there!

Quite nice, big rooms but I had difficulties with the air conditioning and in a hot country like Spain that is obviously a big problem. However, the food in the restaurant is very nice, The Wifi is good in some areas and the pools were good

It's perfect, in July at least I know it's quiet but not too formal, the average age is 30 years, especially men. We met several groups of guys during our stay. It has good facilities for fun such as a pool, billiards, tennis court, etc. The beach is 5 minutes walk and to go partying you can go by bus to Marbella or Fuengirola in 15 minutes. I recommend it!

Un resort más, quizás un poco antiguo.pero muy pulcro y limpio.
El aparthotel tenía dos habitaciones, dos baños completos, salón y terraza, para moverte por la zona necesitas si o si coche, la ubicación está casi en la sierra, a 5 min en coche de la playa, y a 30 min de Marbella
