A great experience. We wanted bikes on Sunday p.m. To get an early start on our Monday ride. Jorn kindly met us at the shop on Sunday, even though it was closed to provide bikes for us. We rented 2 carbon road bikes for 4 days with no issues. Nice and easy and recommended, and we discovered some awesome routes!

I rented a mountain bike last winter from Costatropical and had a great day cycling above Lentegí. On the way back the sun was setting and I needed to speed down the Carretera de la Cabra. At this point the front derailleur started having issues shifting onto the large front ring. I was able to physically move the chain over, so no real issues. When I returned the bike I mentioned this experience, not wanting a discount nor any such thing: more for the owner to know the bike had issues, and maybe just say "sorry". After all my day was just about perfect. The owner immediately started looking for signs of a crash and only after a few seconds said that the bike was perfect before it left the shop and I must have crashed. After verifying there was no crash he felt relieved and left it at that. No sorry, no nothing, just that it was somehow my fault. This is the reason for the 2 star review: I enjoyed the day, I did not enjoy the owner's unwarranted attitude.

Very good range of bikes for hire. Owner very friendly & helpful in selecting the correct bike for our ride. Hired an E mountain bike and an E trekking bike. Both were well maintained and we had no problems on our ride into the mountains. Highly recommended and will come back again.

Una gran experiencia. Queríamos bicicletas el domingo por la tarde.para comenzar temprano nuestro viaje del lunes. Jorn tuvo la amabilidad de recibirnos en la tienda el domingo, a pesar de que estaba cerrada para proporcionarnos bicicletas. Alquilamos 2 bicicletas de carretera de carbono durante 4 días sin problemas. Agradable, fácil y recomendado, ¡y descubrimos algunas rutas increíbles!

Muy buena variedad de bicicletas para alquilar. Propietario muy amable y servicial a la hora de seleccionar la bicicleta correcta para nuestro viaje. Alquilé una bicicleta de montaña E y una bicicleta de trekking E. Ambos estaban bien mantenidos y no tuvimos problemas en nuestro viaje hacia las montañas. Altamente recomendado y volveremos.

Very good quality rental bikes. Large offering on bikes. I had a carbon road bike and my girlfriend an electric trekking bike. Ideal place to start the climb of the beautiful goats path. We could also use the shower of the friendly owner.

Creo que nunca antes he encontrado a alguien mas desagradable y antipático que en esta tienda. Pocas ganas de trabajar, poco más le falto que echarme de la tienda para que no hiciera ninguna pregunta. Trato altivo, mezquino, prepotente y maleducado.
Hay muchas tiendas de alquiler de bicis en Almuñecar, os recomiendo que elijáis cualquier otra porque os trataran bien, no como este sitio que es para clausurarlo por mala educación.

Hemos tenido una experiencia genial. Alquilamos dos bicis de montaña eléctricas a muy buen precio de manera muy sencilla y rápida. El dueño nos recomendó una ruta que resultó ser chulísima, un recorrido impresionante, a pesar de haber venido muchos años a Almuñécar nunca había disfrutado así de la naturaleza y las montañas. Una ruta que sin esas bicis nunca podríamos haber descubierto. La calidad de las bicis es magnífica, además nos proporcionaron casco, candado, un bote reparador de ruedas por si se rompían. Todo para disfrutar de una tarde inigualable. Muchas gracias! Repetiremos.

I took a trip to Almuñicar for a week, to explore the roads on the mountains. I visited Jørn, who's the owner of the shop, he found a nice bike for me and provided great service throughout the whole week! I can highly recommend this place, for people who enjoys professional service and great equipment.

This is the absolute best place for hiring bikes. All types: Road, mountain, city and electric versions. They arrange amazing biking tours in breathtaking scenery. Either the roads along the coast, or swisting road up n down the mountains. Too gravel trails on mountain bikes. Something for every level. Be sure to visit if in Almunecar!
