Las bicicletas BMC eran fantásticas y funcionaban perfectamente. El soporte en la tienda (Reuben) fue brillante. Los paseos fueron increíbles, muy recomendable.

Viajé en mayo de 2023 con un grupo de cinco personas para explorar Andalucía en bicicleta y tuve una gran experiencia. Cormac fue receptivo antes, durante y después del viaje y siempre tuvo excelentes recomendaciones. Envié mis medidas con anticipación y mi ajuste fue perfecto. Definitivamente algunas de las mejores bicicletas de alquiler que hemos tenido la oportunidad de usar.

Así debería ser alquilar una bicicleta) Y el equipamiento y la comunicación con la tienda son 5 sobre "+"

Una experiencia muy satisfactoria.

Primero de todo la facilidad para la reserva desde la web, dónde puedes incluir la mayoría de las características requeridas. La variedad y calidad de bicis es brutal.

El ajuste de la bici perfecto, pero es importante tener las medidas de tu bici para un ajuste perfecto de las medidas.

Facilidad para recogida y entrega de las bicis.

Para un mayor disfrute, la zona pide buen estado de forma, hay subidas muy chulas por la zona.

Tuve una semana increíble con Cormac y el equipo.

El ciclismo (clima, paisajes y rutas) fue excelente, la bicicleta brindó un excelente recorrido y el alojamiento fue excelente.

Hubo una escalada realmente difícil, pero el nivel de apoyo y aliento brindado por todo el equipo fue insuperable.

Hubo un gran nivel de camaradería en el grupo, especialmente durante una velada con cena y unas cuantas cervezas, pero lo fundamental para que todos pasáramos un buen rato fue el equipo de Sierra Nevada, que fue excelente al reunir a todo el grupo.

Recomiendo encarecidamente una semana con Cormac y el equipo.

Fantástico fin de semana de ciclismo en la que ya es mi tercera visita. Excelentes bicicletas de alquiler, personal servicial y carreteras maravillosas. Cormac tiene una gran configuración.

Excelente calidad del equipo por el precio. Cormac y su equipo fueron increíblemente útiles durante mi proceso de contratación de dos semanas.

Este es el paraíso de los escaladores. Una joya escondida. Increíbles descensos donde más o menos tienes los caminos para ti solo. Un montaje muy profesional. Genial tener la tienda en pleno pueblo de vélez donde poder alquilar las bicis y salir a dar las vueltas guiadas. Cormac y Luca fueron los guías cuando estuve allí y hay diferentes rutas todos los días. No podría recomendar Cycle Sierra Nevada lo suficiente y estoy deseando volver a salir.

Fantastic service, pro service in fact. Bike fitted with dimensions given on web site. Also, I had a crash and was staying 2 hours away from the rental location. They replaced my bike same day. First class service.

I usually arrange my own cycling holidays but the week I spent riding with Cycle Sierra Nevada might actually change that. Fantastic service from the guys, I loved their mix of being laid back and competent at the same time. The guides had great local knowledge and took all of the ride planning pain away - you just need to eat, sleep and ride. All that at a reasonable price.

The area itself is an absolute blast to ride on - perfect tarmac, endless hairpins, very little traffic. It's mind blowing you can actually ride from a warm and sunny Costa Tropical all the way to the white ski slopes of Pico Veleta in a day. I look forward to coming back again and maybe going off-road a few times as the trails looked pretty sick too.

Cormac is a very friendly down-to-earth person, trying to help where he can. Thanks for the great and flexible service!

A fantastic region to cycle in lovely quiet smooth roads.

Bike guide was fabulous and hire bikes of a very good quality. Accommodation was fab.

I have been hiring bikes from Cormac at Cycle Sierra Nevada for many years now as we have a property in the area that I come out to a couple of times a year with family & friends. The service has always been excellent as are the bikes, always well maintained and the hire prices are very reasonable, the cycling on and off road in the area is fantastic, and the team at Cycle Sierra Nevada are friendly and accommodating - very highly recommended.

Great experience with CSN - very smooth delivery or bikes at the start of our trip and pick up at the end. Also very friendly and happy to give advice on routes ect.

Had a great week with CSN at the end of September. One of the best cycling holidays I’ve done. Friendly group, leaders were very knowledgable about the routes, and the pace of the rides was perfect. Excellent bikes to rent, roads the best I’ve ridden on, and the climbs were never too hard. Got my descending mojo back on this trip too! A great week to build fitness and also enjoy the social side of cycling - would highly recommend, and will definitely be going again.

We hired gravel bikes from Cycle Sierra Nevada in September, determined to explore the trails In Andalusia. Communication with Cormac was efficient and good humoured, and none of our requests were too much trouble. He totally understands that when you are on your hols, you just want things to be easy and hassle-free.
Cormac’s right hand man, Ruben, coordinated drop-off, collection, provided maintenance tips when we needed them, and was in all ways an absolute gem. We couldn’t have asked for a better service.
We’ll be back as soon as we can get some more leave booked, and I’ll be hiring from the CSN team again, of that I’m certain.

Hired two bikes with my friend for a 3 day cycling trip in the stunning Sierra Nevada national park.

Cycle Sierra Nevada opened specially to allow us to collect late on a Saturday afternoon (off season)

The bikes were set up as ordered, with good gear ratios for the terrain.

Really friendly and helpful staff who know the area well.

We hired BMC Roadmachines with Rival AXS group set. A great frame, but my preference would be for a lighter mechanical groupset over the electronic shifting. Daily hire rate is high in comparison to Alicante region.

Shop website has links to some of the amazing local climbs, switchback heaven.

We will definitely return though as Sierra Nevada is stunning riding (if you don’t mind edges)

I have rented high end bikes in The Alps, Pyrenees and Provence but Cycle Sierra Nevada were the best and easiest store to rent from by far. Nothing was too much hassle for them and the bike I rented, for 1 week, was sized and fitted perfectly to my needs, and they offered great value for such a high end bike. Cycling the great climbs of Sierra Nevada in June, including Pico Veleta, I was amazed at how beautiful and how quiet the roads were. This place is a gem for cycling where you will truly enjoy natures smells and sounds, avoid the frenzy of motor bikes and cars that plague other European climbs in Alps & Pyrenees and most of all, experience the fresh and lofty altitudes of the Sierra Nevadas. Cormac & Ruben really made it enjoyable to rent from them and I even bought their T-Shirt (which like all else is of very high quality cotton and will last)! I can't recommend Cycle Sierra Nevada enough!

I made the Covid-delayed cycling holiday to Cycle Sierra Nevada in early March with the group organised by the Queen of yoga (Sinéad Kennedy).

Want to feel like a pro for a week? This is the place for you!

From the moment you arrive and are handed your rental bike, a super light BMC machine with SRAM Etap and disc brakes (did I mention that the bike is already prepared with your saddle height, reach etc) you are ready to ride. A major endorsement that almost every rider had one of the rental bikes.

The accommodation is very well kitted out with everything you might need on a cycling holiday and just a few minute’s walk to the Bike shop which is the hub of all the activity.

Whatever your level or experience you will fit into one of the groups for the organised spins, from fast to leisure and everything in-between. I found the fast group a real challenge, but had great support, not just from the ride guides but the riders as well.

The routes are varied-predominantly hilly as you might expect but with a couple of easy/recovery rotes as well. The roads are simply amazing and the climbs spectacular.

Every evening we had a Yoga session which was a great way to recover.

There’s a great family atmosphere generated by Cormac and the lads, and the whole group has dinner together every evening.

I’ll be back next year on another cycling holiday adventure for sure.

Super impressed with this company, it was so refreshing to feel like you were going back in time and actual getting great service great communication, very laid back but also super efficient.

I know the area well as we own a property about an hour away, and I was just looking to hire a bike for a day while I was looking to purchase a new bike,

Rang them up and sorted out everything over the phone and a couple of e mails, drove down to the shop. Picked up the bike which was an absolute dream to ride and top quality, spent a day in the saddle then just gave them a message when I was around an hr away from returning it, so I could give them a rough return time. Got back to the shop the guy was there waiting for me a quick once over he was happy I was happy job done.

If you are coming out to this area for either a cycling holiday or just want to hire a decent quality bike for a day or two I would highly recommend this company, plus this is where I will send all my friends that want to hire a bike rather than bring there own with them on holiday.

As a group we use Cycle Sierra Nevada on a regular basis. Great service from Cormac and his team with bikes that are totally appropriate for the challenging climbs in the region.

My son and I used Cycle Sierra Nevada for road bikes for a week near La Herradura this spring. The bikes were immaculately serviced and dropped off and picked up from our apartment. The staff were super friendly and loaned my son a pair of road shoes after he'd forgotten his, completely for free!

We will return to Spain next year for a longer training camp and would not hesitate to use Cycle Sierra Nevada!

I've done many bike tours/camps, Cycle Sierra Nevada is one of the best. Why:
>Team - Great group of ride leaders who are experienced, friendly and fun!
>Very organized - really important when trying to manage a group. The shop is also well laid out, clean and Cormac makes great coffee.
>Tier 1 gear - we rented bikes from Cycle Sierra Nevada, top boat BMC Road bikes with SRAM electronic shifting. Didn't have to hassle with bringing bikes and didn't have to compromise on quality or ride/performance.
>Terrain - If you like to climb/descent, it doesn't get any better. High quality roads, light traffic, generally courteous drivers, great scenery. No shortage of rides. Good bike vibe, but not overwhelmed with tourist riders like other parts of Spain.

If you are looking for a fun bike holiday, don't pass up Cycle Sierra Nevada!

I had a pleasure to spend one week in Velez de Benaudalla, cycling around it on BMC bike rented from Cycle Sierra Nevada. Bike's condition was top-notch. It looked like almost new, break pads were perfect, handlebar tape was in very good condition, tyres were in very good shape. The Rival AXS grouppo worked so well that I ended up buying it for my personal bike a few weeks later:).
The team at Cycle Sierra Nevada is very professional. The bikes are available exactly on time for which you're appointed. You walk in, say your name and in 1 minute you can walk out with a bike ready for you. I recommend using the bike fit service they provide. I gave them bike measurements that I'm using, the bike was set up this way and I felt super comfortable on it.
The bike is rented with small saddlebag and necessary toolkit for fixing punctures. I haven't tried it because even with ca. 600km ridden in this area I haven't got any puncture.

All in all I was super happy with this bike rental. I can recommend it to everyone. If I ever return to southern Spain for cycling holidays I'll rent a bike again from Cycle Sierra Nevada. I hope I will be able to get back soon and this time try BMC URS and lots of nice gravel roads I saw there:).

Cycle Sierra Nevada deserves more than 5 stars!
They provide first class bikes with fair prices, their service cannot be topped. They do everything for you in a very friendly and professional manner: deliver the bikes to your hotel, shuttle you to Granada to ride up to the snow, provide best tour info, have the best coffee in their huge and cool shop, lend you a foot pump and correspond with you via mobile phone within minutes, UNBELIEVABLE, never experienced this in my 25 years of 2-time a year cycling holidays.
And yes, I almost forgot: this cycling area is about the best for cycling on very quiet roads, no traffic, absolutely stunning nature, great up- and downhill with terrific curves that make you high and singing. I can really recommend a cycling holiday with Cycle Sierra Nevada. The routes, the bikes, the guides were all spot on. I booked their accommodation and airport transport service, and that was all great too - a nice, clean apartment a few minutes walk from the bike shop. It was a really well provided week with most meals and evening socialising taken care of too. As a bonus, my descending skills improved over the week - perhaps next time I’ll manage to keep up with Cormac.

Andalucia and Sierra Nevada is one of top places for cycling in Europe, especially winter time. For sure will visit you guys more times, Pico de Veleta still waiting for me.

Everything was spot on and well organised, accommodation, bikes, rides and guides were all great. Evening meals / socialising also organised for us so all we really had to do was turn up have fun and cycle! Would definitely recommend. All abilities catered for.
