Julie y yo pasamos un tiempo increíble viajando con nuestro grupo y líderes en las carreteras y el hipódromo de La Vuelta. ¡Geoff, Dean, José y Santi no solo son divertidos e interesantes para viajar, sino que van más allá de las expectativas para hacernos sentir cómodos y listos para viajar! Los hoteles en los que nos alojamos son increíbles al igual que las comidas que disfrutamos. ¡El acceso VIP a los profesionales fue una locura! Felicitaciones al país ciclista! Kuss, Kuss, Kuss!

No puedo dar suficientes estrellas por la experiencia y los conocimientos de nuestro equipo. Todo el personal fue incomparable. Regresé la semana pasada de 2 recorridos en bicicleta consecutivos en Portugal reservados con Cycling Country. El primero fue un recorrido autoguiado por la costa desde Oporto hasta Lisboa y el segundo fue su increíble viaje guiado por el Alentejo desde la costa portuguesa hasta la frontera española. Ambos viajes fueron maravillosos, pero especialmente el guiado, ya que nuestros dos guías nos hicieron sentir como en familia. Los hoteles fueron magníficos, el soporte fue excelente y el equipo fue de primera categoría. ¡Estoy deseando reservar otra aventura con ellos!

Andar en bicicleta a través de Portugal desde el Atlántico en el área del sur de Alentejo hasta la frontera con España fue la aventura ideal. Acabo de regresar de una visita guiada de 7 días y totalmente asistida: The Famous Vuelta Climbs Southern Spain. Dean y Jose nos guiaron y condujeron de manera experta a través de 500 km de conducción y 12,000 m de escalada. Fue una semana desafiante, pero se hizo más fácil con hoteles cómodos, muchas paradas para comer y cenas incluidas en tres lugares. Gracias a todos en Cycling Country por su fantástico servicio de calidad y gran valor.

We had the best time on the March 2023 Olive Trails tour. Beautiful villages, lodging and and incredible food. You definitely get the feeling that this is a family run rather than a large, impersonal tour company. Geoff and Maggie do a great job of creating unique cultural and riding experiences in areas they have come to know and love so well. We hope to tour with Cycling County again in the future!

Mi esposo y yo usamos Cycling Country durante parte de nuestro viaje al sur de España. Nos quedamos impresionados con la experiencia. Hicimos la experiencia autoguiada que fue perfecta en todos los sentidos. Nuestras bicicletas eran de alta calidad y los paseos tenían múltiples opciones adaptadas a cómo nos sentíamos cada día. The Portugal tour ALENTEJO was amazing, weather was perfect in March/April timeframe, very nice scenery, spectacular hotel/castle, amazing food. Tour offer a good variety of landscape, some challenging at times but all well worth it. I can't get over the magnificent Castle and former Monastery we stayed in, just the hotel alone are worth the trip. It was a guided tour and Geoff was fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable about the places visited and all around way of life there. A must do…

Definitivamente tienes la sensación de que se trata de una empresa familiar en lugar de una gran empresa de turismo impersonal. I just wanted to take a moment and let you know what a great cycling trip we had with Cycling Country on October 5th, 2022,8 day Enchanted Andalusia Bike Tour. From the very first email to the last goodbye, every detail resulted in the most incredible trip. Our group of 18, were so impressed with the quality and attention to detail everyone provided, to insure the very best of trips.

The 3 cycling guides led by Javi were excellent and provided the utmost care for the group. We appreciated the itinerary/safety meeting every morning, with a description of route and elevation gain or taking care in long downhill descending curves. There were always snacks and water provided at the stops, and they were prepared for any need whether bike adjustments or band-aids.

The guides at Mosque-Cathedral, Cordoba and Alhambra, Granada, were excellent - attractions not to be missed. Javi helped out on the tour of Nunez De Prado, family olive oil processing center. Very interesting and informative.

Lodgings were worth the whole trip, historical and fascinating. Food was plentiful and delicious. Local wines were amazing and very inexpensive, 3-4 Euro in many places or came with dinner.

The biking equipment was top rate, we had road bikes with half of the group on ebikes. Note: make your decision on type of bike early on with deposit, as ebikes are becoming very popular and in high demand. Water bottles and beautiful jerseys were included. Also, phone holders and front handle bags were provided with no charge.

Maria, Maggi, Geoff, the three guides, and Dean, are the most gracious and considerate individuals, one could possible hope for in planning your cycling trip. Cycling Country's website was stellar. Excellent tour company with the most wonderful people.

My wife and I are planning on doing another trip with Cycling Country in 2023.

Incredible, fantastic, beautiful, perfect - both the biking itself in Andalucía this November, and the leadership of Geoff and Maggi. They are gems of human beings: caring, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, organized, warm, kind, supportive, fun and competent. They both know so much about Spain - history, culture, environment, etc. - and answered our group's many questions readily. Everything was just right, seamless; they clearly worked hard but made it seem effortless. The routes were gorgeous, the hotels varied, historic, stunning; the food (including the picnics they prepared) was great. It was my first bike trip, and it was a joy. It worked well for the experienced cyclists like my husband too. I would love to go with them again!

Amazing life changing trip! Javi and Dani made this trip better in Every way. Their ability to understand how to cater to the groups personality and enhance our experience was second to none. Thanks guys!

Can't say enough great things about this company and its owners Maggi and Geoff. We had a phenomenal time cycling this July in Andalucia.

Best trip ever! We were totally pampered by Geoff. The riding was beautiful. Just a couple climbs that made you feel like you deserved all the food we ate, but mostly relaxing and adventurous. The picnic lunches Geoff prepared were awesome, as were the huge buffet breakfasts. So many off the bike activities, like tours of castles and walled towns, and a winery tour (on my birthday!). Cycling Country really puts together a fantastic tour. We are already checking into which tour we will do next year with them!

Cycling Country is a great tour company to hire if you love to cycle and seek a bit of convenience. We saw the countryside and got away from the usual tourist traps. We loved the professionalism, flexibility, detailed itinerary, seamless luggage transitions and various lodgings offered by Cycling Country staff. As a family, we all had quality bikes (combination road and electric). It was a fantastic family trip since we like to maintain fitness while traveling the world! HIGHLY recommend Cycling Country! Our Andalucía bike trip was incredible! Southern Spain is very beautiful! We really appreciated the great quality in the bikes, Trek Domane. Geoff and his crew were super nice, gave us fantastic sag support and accommodated our requests. The hotels were all beautiful with each unique fascinating history. We will come back for other tours!

Just returned from a tailored cycling tour of Andalusia, perfectly organised by Cycling Country. Not only did we experience famous Vuelta climbs such as Puerto del Leon but every day's riding from Malaga to Granada and back was a joy, with top quality equipment, beautiful scenery, quiet roads and all perfectly guided by Geoff & Dean with the requisite coffee and lunch stops. Superb hotels, historic cities to explore and great advice on local eateries. Thanks to the whole team at Cycling Country for making the trip a joy from start to finish.

Look no further if you're after a professionally run tour providing top quality kit configured to your needs and knowledgeable guides to plan your routes. The support crew kept us rolling between the coffee and bocadillo breaks and ensured energy levels remained high.

My wife and I, two avid 70+ cyclists from Vermont, just completed Country Cycling’s self-guided White Villages tour of Andalucia from Grenada to Ronda with some add-ons and upgrades. It was fabulous: a beautifully curated route in gorgeous landscapes, with some challenging climbs here and there, great hotels, and charming white-washed villages that rival anything we’ve seen in many other cycling trips in France and Italy. Maggie and Geoff put everything together perfectly. Their custom Ride with GPS app worked perfectly from door to door. Their Trek road bike were excellent. What an enjoyable trip! Just returned from Cycling Country 5 day Bike Tour. What a treat cycking through the dramatic landscape of Andalusia and the coast of Costa del Sol. The organisers of the tour Maggi and Geoff were easy to communicate with, they thought of and provided everything that was needed from providing fantastic scenic routes of different distances to information on where to eat, local maps, a multi-plug charger, cycle repair kit, water bottle, the list goes on. The hotels where we stayed were of good quality and varied the breakfast provided were all top notch. Would definitely recommend Cycle Country.

We had a fabulous time on our "Enchanted Andalucia" cycling tour! Maggi and Geoff were easy to work with and very communicative in setting things, up, Javi and Dani were first class guides. The bikes, the routes, the accomodations and the little "add-ons" were all top notch. We've taken a handful of other tours with Backroads and other large outfits, we weren't sure what to expect from a smaller local company. What we got was an equivalent experience with a more local, personal flavor (and great value) Highly recommend, we can't wait to try one of the self guided tours as well.

My husband and I just finished the absolutely fantastic Cycle to the Med self-guided bike trip from Cycling Country. I cannot say enough good things about working with this company and its fabulous owners, Geoff and Maggi. From my first email inquiry to the amazing end-of-ride lunch spot they recommended and everything in between, it was a flawless, top-notch experience. This route is a newer offering for them, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The scenery was beautiful and varied. There was mix of challenging climbs, thrilling descents and breathtaking coastal riding. The hotels were all excellent-and quite different. Geoff and Maggi were super accommodating and worked with us (even mid-ride) to tweak a few things. They clearly know the area inside and out, and all of their restaurant recommendations and points of interest were divine! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful short self-guided trip in the hills above Malaga and enjoyed all aspects of it The places where we stayed were excellent in their varied ways - all very comfortable. The routes were interesting and even the long up-hills were easy on the well set-up e-bikes. The support we got from Cycling Country felt very personal and we will certainly recommend them and be back for more ourselves.

Last month we did the 10-day self-guided White Villages tour. I had ridden with Cycling Country one other time, in 2017, for a group ride on the Coastal Camino and LOVED it. This was every bit as enriching and enjoyable. All of our interactions leading up to the trip were both warm and professional. They even had our rental bikes adjusted to our specs when we arrived. Geoff and Maggi know virtually every road in Spain and they structure routes for a combination of scenery, safety and feature destinations. Having the route downloaded onto GPS (Garmin) meant we almost never missed a turn and we never got lost even though it was just my husband and me on the road together. Maggi checked in with us almost daily to make sure we reached our destination and to answer any questions we had. They even made a point of meeting us one evening for drinks and tapas. The views from the bike were magnificent. The drivers who passed us gave us a generous berth. Every hotel they had booked for us was expecting us. HIGHLY recommend this tour and Cycling Country.

I have just returned from two bike tours organized by Cycling Country and I couldn't be more satisfied with this company. I have taken upwards of 12 cycling tours with a variety of other providers and never have I been given the support I received on these tours. Maggi and Geoff go over the top in providing detailed information about history and important sites along the way, as well as fabulous navigation directions (one of our tours was self-guided). Accommodation was wonderful, meals superb and the guiding and support vehicle driving by Javi and Dani was second to none. I look forward to signing up for more tours with this company!

My husband and I are back from our biking trip in Portugal with a suitcase full of wonderful memories.
I would like to thank Cycling Country for the amazing organization that they provided to make our trip go as smoothly as it did. The bikes were very comfortable and in great condition (thank you for the special Dutch-style bikes – they were great!) and well equipped with emergency tools. They really thought of everything we might need along the road. The "Ride with GPS" navigation was very easy to follow and had lots of interesting tips and useful information. Also the hotels were all very nice and in great locations. In addition, the support we received before and during the trip was first class. Above all, the scenery was fantastic and the trails very varied along the coast, through beautiful parks and interesting places. I highly recommend both the trip and Cycling Country as the organizers.

A wonderful trip in Granada, great routes, lovely villages. Highlights being Le Cortijo outside Montefrio and the charming hotel of Le Le Seguiriya in Alhana de Granada. Geoff and Maggi run a great business and would highly recommend them and their cycling trips.

The fact this was my 2nd trip, says it all! I will be back for a 3rd. The Granada - Ronda Andalucia ‘tour’ can be testy at times but beautifully routed and accommodation, superb!
Support by the brilliant Dean, excellently routed and admin by Maggi and Maria, will no doubt bring me back for many years.

Great ride in Portugal! Six great days of cycling in the Alentejo with a terrific support team, top of the line hotels, fun companions.all at a price that is a lot more affordable than other cycling tour companies. Can't say enough good things about Cycling Country for recreational riding tours. This is our second tour with Maggie and Geoff - and both have been great!

We cycled the self guided Moorish Adalucia tour from Cordoba to Granada in late March. In spite of unusually cold weather we had great cycling though beautiful country and charming rural towns. Excellent support from Geoff the proprietor

Can not recommend this guided tour highly enough to anyone thinking of signing up for a tour in Southern Spain. Routes, scenery, weather and climbs were perfect and Geoff and his team provided an amazing level of service throughout the trip which would be difficult to beat by any other tour operator. Geoff was also an amazing host whose passion for cycling and Spanish culture shone through at all times. This tour should be on every cyclist's bucket list!

We had a fantastic time with the group. The guides were attentive, the accommodation was great, fabulous bikes and Jeff, the owner, paid attention to every detail. Very well organized cycling company. We will def.tour with Cycling Country again.

After searching for a guided cycling trip in Spain, my wife and I selected Cycling Country's 10-day Andalusia tour. Their site said "hilly" but not "mountainous" - moderate difficulty.

It exceeded our expected level of difficulty. One day we climbed over 1000 meters.

One mistake we made was to take the standard hybrid bike instead of paying extra for a road bike, which most others on the trip had. Luckily after the first day, CC was able to get us road bikes which we needed to keep up with the others.

The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, giving technical advice as we cycled along.

Accommodation ranged from very comfortable to 5-star luxurious. 5 group dinners were included, which were delicious 3+ courses with good wines.

The scenery was beautiful and the weather was sunny and unseasonably hot.

We had great time, met great people and were very satisfied.

We are now stronger riders with confidence to tackle more challenging terrain than our old norm.
