Diving with Nic

¡Gracias al equipo de Buceo con Nic por hacer realidad mi sueño de ser buceador! Facilitaron todo el proceso al personalizar mi experiencia (tuve algunos problemas en la primera inmersión). Los grupos reducidos y el trato personal con sus clientes hacen que este centro de buceo sea diferente a los demás.

Club muy amigable y profesional donde puedes hacer las cosas en serio sin tomarte a ti mismo en serio.

4 inmersiones realizadas con ellos a principios de marzo de 2022 en los pecios de Gibraltar (traslado realizado por el club desde Marbella, en coche, con posibilidad de recogeros directamente en vuestro hotel/alquiler).
Mucha vida, sorpresas muy agradables como una langosta con cuerpo alrededor de la curva de una hélice y, para un amante de la chatarra como yo, bonitos paseos por los alrededores y el interior de los pecios.

Nic y Léo son serios, profesionales y dan buenos consejos.
Me lo pasé muy bien dentro y fuera del agua con ellos.

Yo recomiendo.

Recientemente hice mi curso Open Water y disfruté cada minuto. ¡No puedo recomendar lo suficiente a Nic y al resto del equipo! 10 de los 10.

Pasamos un día completo buceando con Nic y su equipo. Fue perfecto. El equipo lleno de energía vela por la seguridad y el medio ambiente mientras nos hace sentir como en casa con su buen espíritu. ¡Está claro que aman lo que hacen! Después tomamos unas cervezas y unas buenas risas juntos…
El equipo estaba a la altura. Tienen puntos de buceo desde Gibraltar hasta mucho más allá de Málaga. Aquí hay mucho que ver bajo el agua. Hablan con fluidez, al menos, español e inglés.

Esta fue mi primera inmersión en el océano, así que, naturalmente, estaba un poco nervioso. El instructor, Marco, fue muy paciente conmigo y definitivamente me hizo sentir en buenas manos. Una experiencia increíble y seguro que no será la última.

Tuvimos un día excelente y maravillosas inmersiones aquí, ¡muy recomendable! Joel fue un maestro de buceo muy agradable y competente, con gran paciencia y determinación para ayudar. En general, fue un tiempo excelente. ¡¡Estaremos de vuelta!

Gran centro de buceo en La Cala y lo recomiendo a todos. Todo el personal fue excelente y mis dos inmersiones en la costa en Marina del este fueron geniales.

Un fantástico día de buceo en naufragios en Gibraltar con Noel como gran guía e instructor. Bien organizado, buen ambiente y 2 magníficas inmersiones. ¡Gracias por el día!

Esta era la primera vez que buceaba y tenía un poco de miedo de ir al océano sin experiencia previa, pero fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba.

Hicimos dos inmersiones en La Herradura y fue hermoso. Cada inmersión duró aproximadamente una hora.

Muchas gracias a Noel y Marco por mostrarme los entresijos y hacer que mi inmersión fuera segura y agradable. ¡Les daría 6 estrellas si pudiera!

Definitivamente recomiendo Bucear con Nic para buceadores primerizos:)

¡¡Brillante! Esta fue mi primera inmersión y el equipo no pudo hacerme sentir más bienvenido.
¡Hice mi entrenamiento en piscina con Marko y tenía la paciencia de un santo! Fue muy relajado y fue excelente al explicar cómo usar todo el equipo y qué sucedería al día siguiente.
¡Al día siguiente fuimos con Noel, quien dirigió la inmersión! Hizo que el día fuera muy relajante y relajado desde el momento en que salimos de casa de Nic. Noel fue muy relajado pero también muy asertivo y minucioso, desde el inicio de la inmersión hasta el final. Me sentí muy seguro y cómodo durante toda la inmersión.
¡¡No puedo esperar a regresar! 10/10

Being a PADI instructors ourselves, with most experience in Southeast Asia, we chose DivingwithNick to make our first dives in Spain. The whole team (Leo, Marko, Noel, Amy and Alec) played a part in making us feel very welcome, including our 9 year old son who loved the snorkelling. What I loved most is their understanding of the type of diving we wanted to do and making that happen! We’ll done Team Nick!

I completed two dives in Gibraltar with Diving with Nic. There were lots of wrecks to explore and lots of species to see. I made some great friends along the way too. I was lucky enough to with Nic himself, who was an organised, fun, knowledgeable, safe and a 10/10 dive instructor and guide. If you are in the area and love scuba, I would highly recommend contacting Diving with Nic!

Fantastic dry-suit diving

I acquired a dry-suit for myself, which arrived just for Christmas. All lakes and ocean frozen in the pitch-black Finland, I travelled to Spain to practise the use of my new suit.

Immediately on the very first dive on the clear white sandy bottom I realized this was an excellent decision. Good visibility, “comfortably cold” water and outstanding diving companions made the dives very fun. After having a proper control on the buoyancy of the dry-suit, the sites on the Costa del Sol offer very pretty coral with octopus and other marine live to admire. When the strong east winds blew the visibility off on these sites, the sites in Gibraltar remained calm and nice with several (on purpose) sunken wrecks to inspect and marvel at.

I was diving the entire time with “Diving with Nic” and need to credit them on not only providing first class service to their customers, but offering also very fun & enjoyable companion while paying utmost care to safety. I do not take safety matters lightly while diving and can honestly say I felt fully secured every second while spending underwaters with Nic himself, Leo and Joel.

Thanks guys for this memorable experience – looking forward on going diving with you again!

Loved diving with these guys! They made everything comfortable, safe and fun. Great vibes and communication. Did 3 days of diving with Joel, Leo and Nic and they were all wonderful, took me to awesome sites and pointed out so many fabulous underwater friends! Definitely recommended.

First day I hit Nic in the head with a scuba tank. Still proceeds to dive with me for 3 days. That is what i call dedication to your costumers!

Can't praise Nic and his team too much, one of the best and friendliest dive centres I have ever visited. They didn't mix skill levels too much like some centres do which can limit you. Also seemed to be extremely patient with his students. I would 100% recommend Nic for your next diving experience wether it be a fun dive or training. I will definitely be back on my next trip

I had some fabulous training and encouragement from Leo on my 3 day open water course. And Marco was so supportive. I am sure all from Diving with Nic are the same and would highly recommend them for first time divers. Fun experience all round, especially for my 10 year old boy. Recently completed the Open Water diver course with Diving with Nic. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with an excellent instructors. They were very professional and patient with me and gave me great experience. I look forward to my next open water dive with the crew.

Wonderful team of skilled and patient instructors. They were fantastic with my confident teenage son, and ever so patient with a less confident and able me. And they make the whole diving experience what it should be. Fun.

This was the first time me and my girls (14,17 & 19) experienced Scuba diving and it was brilliant.

We did the Discover Suba Diving course and I went on to do the PADI Open Water course.

Nic and his team were superb - very experienced - they made sure all the dives were super safe and enjoyable. One of the dives aborted because of the conditions and they went out of their way to make sure we got to do the dive again, which was brilliant.

No hesitation recommending "Diving with Nic" - we're looking forward to going back soon for more dives and training.

I've had the pleasure of being out for 12 dives with the team at 'Diving with Nic' over the past 6 weeks. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere around the dive shop, even when they're very busy in the morning getting ready for the days diving, everyone takes the time to say hello and make you feel welcome.

Very nice dive sites in Marina del Este with lots of marine life to see (managed to see a Mola Mola!) and cool wreck dives in Gibraltar. They have very good equipment in great condition. The divemasters are all very professional and extremely knowledgeable on all the marine life in the area. It's also very evident that they all really love what they do!

A big thank you to everyone involved at the dive centre and a special thank to my guides on the dives Joel, Ellie and Emmy. Looking forward to getting out for more dives when I'm back in October!

I was looking for a place to take my divers license and asked old friends of mine who are very experienced divers if they could recommend a good diving center in the costa del sol. They recommended Diving with Nic. Nic and his team was very good and professional and made you feel calm and had good knowledge of what they do. I can highly recommend them if you are looking to take any level of diving certificate. Or if you already have it and just to go diving for a day!

Friendly helpful and professional Dive Centre. Got me back in the water after several years for a number of enjoyable dives including a couple in Gibraltar. They also took my son for a couple of Discover Scuba dives, looked after him well and he's now hooked and looking to get qualified.

All the staff made this an enjoyable addition to our summer holiday.

Got certified for open water here with a tight schedule but they made it happen. My instructors Emmy and Marco both went far beyond my expectations, and were incredibly patient and easy to work with even when under a lot of pressure from other divers and difficult diving conditions. I highly recommend this dive center for both their diving sites as well as training.

Big thanks to Ellie and the team for sorting a personal skills refresher for me, even learnt some new skills!

I had the pleasure of Diving with Nic and completing my Wreck Diver qualification at the end of October 21. Having worked in a dive shop as a divemaster in another life I could tell straight away that this was a professional setup from the get go. All the gear was very well organized, clean, up to date and in brilliant condition. All the staff were both friendly and knowledgeable. Nic especially and his divemasters run a tight ship and strike that great balance between safe, technical, very informative, and fun. Thoroughly enjoyed my time diving with them and can't wait to get back in the water with Nic again sometime. Couldn't recommend these guys enough. As good as a dive shop as I've been in. Top Marks

First met Nic on a trip to Gibraltar, diving at Camp Bay. Had a fantastic dive in a great location with really enthusiastic dive guide. I also did my PPB course with Nic recently and had a brilliant one to one instruction day, learnt a thing or three and enjoyed it immensely. I would heartily recommend this small and friendly dive outfit to anyone coming to the Costa del Sol for some exciting, interesting and informed diving. Definitely a 5 star dive center.

I can warmly recomend you to go diving with Nic and his collegues. Had fantastic dives at Gibraltar with their dive master Pat and I must say that they are offering excellent service, high quality equipment and are acting very calm, relaxed and professional. Will definitley dive with them again when I come back to Spain next time.

Nic, Pat and Gonzalo did a great job at teaching my buddy and me how to be an open water diver.
We started as beginners and at the last day we could enjoy 3 dives in gibraltar which was amazing.
Nic was always very patiently also in regard that english isn't my first language.
I can very recommend getting trained here.

Accommodating dive shop and easy to coordinate with! They were able to pick me up and drive me back to the nearest train stop. I appreciate Nic's willingness to work with me.

I went diving with Nic after having a 9 year break from diving and feeling a bit unsure of myself. Nic was great, very supportive. He was recommended to me by a very experienced PADI instructor, with 25 years in running diving schools. We both were happy with the philosophy of the dive school, plan for development and the passion displayed by Nic.
