El hotel es agradable, un poco viejo, pero lo están cuidando, un equipo muy servicial y muy solidario. Muy buena experiencia. Volveré aquí seguro.

Las únicas cosas que estropean el
la experiencia es. Hay demasiados pasos para llegar a alguna parte. Si quieres ir a la playa, es un buen paseo.
La comida que se sirve en el restaurante Bahía podría ser más variada. No hay muchas opciones. Si no te gusta el pescado, estás decepcionado.

Tan emocionada de tener a Don Carlos como nuestra última parada de nuestra gira por Italia y España. Me encantó cada minuto de las tumbonas de la playa, la comida deliciosa y el personal maravilloso.

Las zonas exteriores como el jardín y las piscinas son muy bonitas, pero lamentablemente no todas están limpias, las habitaciones son bastante antiguas y tampoco muy limpias. La comida, especialmente el desayuno, lamentablemente no era de 5 estrellas. Sin embargo, tengo que decir que todos los empleados son muy amables.

Servicio 10/10, me atendió Mila, fue muy amable, nos recomendó copas y nos trato super bien, ademas del servicio las copas estaban muy bien conseguidas y riquísimas, repetiré la próxima vez que vaya, Un servicio espectacular por parte de Mila.

This place is not a 5 star resort
It says it is but it just isn’t.

It needs a massive renovation, it doesn’t look like it’s been touched since the 90’s on the but we stayed. There is a newer bit called oasis so if you book make sure you book that bit. The staff are very nice but did come away feeling dissatisfied that we wasn’t at a hotel the level of a 5 star resort

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, although carpetry needs a good scrub. Breakfast was ok, service great. Staff is great and helpful. We were here at the end of march and Nikki beach facilities were closed.

Room service robbed us of this hotel! Stolen 300 €. We are absolutely sure because none of us used this wallet for the entire stay and we only realized after leaving the hotel.
Good breakfast and concierge. Everyone is very nice, but it is a pity that they steal.

The services are good, and the environment and the climate are very favorable for relax. Recommend for family holiday

Ya que no encuentro lugar, escribiré mi reseña aquí. Peacock en el Don Carlos, es un inconmensurable lugar, de lujo total, y más en la puesta de sol maravillosa que pudimos disfrutar, todo muy rico, el único pero, las bebidas que por lo carisimas, te saben algo mal. El servicio amable, algo lento quizás.

Hace unos 30 años, yo venía a este hotel con mis padres. Ahora vengo con mi marido y con mi hijo y sigo sin tener suficientes palabras para describir la atención, la profesionalidad y la dedicación de todos y cada uno de sus empleados. Especialmente quiero agradecer a Isaías, a Raúl a Andrea y a todos los miembros del kids club (María, Iñaki, Alba &Marina) la atención y sobre todo el cariño recibido. GRACIAS. Volveremos.

We had an absolute amazing stay! All staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Stunning breakfast with lots of variety and high quality foods. They’ve got great non-dairy milk alternatives (oat, almond and soy)! Would defiantly come again.

When you came to Don Carlos you don’t pay or the room (all of them have the same design), but you pay for the facilities and really beautiful garden. Fantastic breakfast, worth every euro

For starters the service is not consistent. There will be a night that housekeepers come to clean and a night were they do not properly do it. The rooms are filthy I have found several insects and spiders in my room. The next thing to point out is that the hotel is sneaky they will try to additionally charge you with the smallest slightest and most unnoticeable things such as espresso. I have never went to a hotel that charged me for the teas or coffee packets this was absurd. Additionally, they constantly brought bottles of water that we did not order just to charge us the extra fees. Overall I do not recommend this hotel what so ever it is not what it seems like it is at all.

Very poor service for what we have paid! Even water is an extra service, no bed for the swimming pool for all customer and if you go for lunch hotel Guys are paid to remove your stuff and give your place to someone else … I will tell it everywhere and make sure that customers are aware of what to expect before to come Never again!

This was a return stay for me after many visits here. The service has definitely gone down recently. I found a few staff unprofessional, the Hotel seem to have lost that professional edge that gave them their five star rating. I was loudly disturbed on my last night by a member of reception staff knocking loudly and insistently at my door presenting me with a bill for to make my check out easier the next day. Not only had I paid my bill on check in there was also a room service charge added which was not mine. No apology was given at all. In all of the times I have stayed here I have never been rudely disturbed in this way. It feels like they can not wait for you to leave. I would maybe expect this of a 3 star hotel.
The room cleaning also seems to have slipped somewhat and was definitely not the standard of the past. I think this Hotel need to bring their standard up.

Un hotel de lo mejor, por sus habitaciones, sus instalaciones, su buffet y la atención del personal se merecen 10*, volveré

Estuvimos encantados en nuestra estancia. Es un lugar del que no necesitas salir al llegar. La habitación estaba completamente equipada, el spa es espectacular y cuenta con varias piscinas diferentes, zona de restaurantes, pistas deportivas, gym… Todo un lugar en el que pasar las vacaciones para desconectar completamente. Mención especial al desayuno y la atención de las masajistas… el mejor tratamiento facial y masaje de mi vida.

This hotel is advertised as 5 stars.i would give it 20 if i could.from the reception staff, housekeeping, kitchen and bar staff etc.service is second to none.best i've ever had anywhere, they even left a cake for my partner in our room as it was his birthday. Its the little the things. Best experience ever, loved every second! We will defo come back ;)

Beaucoup de points forts mais déception pas assez de transats à la piscine comme à la plage, il a des « lits de plage » très beau personne ne s’y installe donc j’y vais on me demande 150€ de plus cela est indécent et excessif surtout au prix d’un simple cocktail servi dans des verres en plastiques

Very good Resort with different pool areas and direct acces to the beach. Resort well managed with very polite employees!

Pretty ugly building outside but the inside is lovely and the wider resort beautiful. Bedroom large and very comfortable. Good shower and molten brown toiletries. Chocolate on pillow last night. Staff great and food wonderful. Freshly made omelettes for breakfast were a treat. Pools are lovely particularly the lower one. Wander through the gardens to get to it then onto the beach. Not too busy down there so that was nice.

Muy bien hotel, todo muy limpio. Muy bien desayuno, todos los empleados muy atentos y amables. Nos dijeron que sino se ocupaba la habitación el día de la salida podíamos flor un poco más tarde. Cómo se ocupaba nos dieron la opción de poder ducharnos y cambiarnos después de venir de la playa en el gimnasio.

This hotel has beautiful facilities and great staff. From the rooms, the lobby, the gardens, the various pools and restaurants this place is truly magical. The staff is very attentive in most cases and they work hard to accommodate requests and keep guests happy.

During our stay, we spent most of our time at the beach club where the staff was very pleasant. I will say that the service at the beach club is extremely slow. There doesn't seem to be enough staff or organization and we often had to wait for at least half an hour to order something even though we had spent extra to be in the private section of the beach club. The bathroom at the beach club is very dirty. I appreciate it's hard to keep a beach/pool bathroom clean but there is a terrible smell when you walk in and the toilets were disgusting at pretty any time of the day. Additionally, the beach mattresses on the beach and also in the private section have seen better days. The color is faded by sun and some are stained and torn. I would expect a 5 start hotel to have clean mattresses and at the very least, a clean bathroom for guests.

We tried all of the restaurants on site as well as attended the cultural dinner that is held every Wednesday. The food and staff was great at all locations.

Overall a great stay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel don Carlos es uno de los mejores hoteles de la costa del Sol, su decoración te hace sentir que estás en un sitio exclusivo y único todo está limpio y ordenado el personal es una maravilla muy educados y amables Y EL AMBIENTE ES ESPECTACULAR.

Lovely hotel and grounds with very helpful staff but two things really annoyed me
The large double 4 poster sun beds by the beech you had to pay 150 euro for the day with free champagne which I thought was steep. Maybe €50 for this premium space
The second annoying thing was its a hotel spa but yet to simply access the jacuzzi or sauna it's €40 for 90mins!

Super hôtel bien accueille par Enrique, qui montre tout l’hôtel, dommage que la piscine des villas ne soit pas chauffé, petit déjeuner au top avec des cuisto sous vos yeux, tout le personnels est sympathique et à l’écoute, les villas sont grande et le parc de l’hôtel est génial qui mène jusqu’à la plage, même si les prix du spa sont chère il est vraiment bien!

Lovely hotel. Beds were amazing.pools were good sun loungers with really thick cushions. Pool side meals a bit expensive. €112.00 for 4 with drinks. Gardens were gorgeous.only draw back was nowhere to walk to really taxi to Marbella €18. Would go again.

There is not much to say. Service is great and staff are ensuring ones stay is comfortable. But the hotel comes straight out of a past era in the hospitality industry. Obviously one does with the walls standing.or should they come down for a total reconcept? Difficult say. Not a bad hotel but needs to be reclassified in 3 or 4 star or seriously structurally facelifted.

Level of service needs to be focused.roomkeys wont work, room service brings same tray 2 days in row with used amenities, i asked king bed room and got twin room.after making note of those thing management took promp action and fixed things.so now i give 4 stars.

I was filming and editing a conference there. Good facilities in a great location. Certainly one of the nicest mobile edit suites I’ve ever worked in!

Un hotel de lujo que cumple enormemente las expectativas. Las villas Deluxe una pasada, con todo detalle y el personal muy amable y atento.

Hotel fantástico Gestion nefasta, sufrí un robo dentro del hotel por una grave negligencia del equipo de seguridad. El hotel me comentó que no me preocupase que se harían cargo a través de su seguro del incidente, pues bien si llamas al hotel y te identificas no te pasan con nadie porque siempre están reunidos por supuesto no devuelven las llamadas y ni contestan a los mail. Increíble! Que un hotel de esta categoría trate así a sus huéspedes.

The hotel is well located in the Costa del Sol region and has facilities that should be considered 5-star. A well equipped gym, several tennis courts, a spa, beach gardens (leading on to the beach) and more.
The breakfast was really good! Plenty of choices, both hot and cold in a pleasant surrounding. Staff (in all departments) were professional and attentive.
The only downside was the room. Whilst the bedroom was a reasonable size, it showed lots of signs of wear and tear. The bathroom was too small and also dated with not enough rails or pegs to hang towels/clothing. This is a 4-star hotel in my opinion. Overall, it was still worth the stay and would consider returning in the future.

Excelente hotel en un entorno fantastico y con una de las mejores playas de Malaga. El personal es muy profesional y amable, destacando los camareros y camareras del desayuno, todo amabilidad y bienhacer (Gracias Luz por atendernos tan bien). Las habitaciones amplias, comodas y silenciosas, con un servicio de limpieza fabuloso y muy detallista. El check in y check out rapido y eficiente. Recomendable.

Alles perfekt. Freundliches Personal ist besonders hervorzuheben. Lediglich etwas rüpelhafte und lautstarke Konferenzgäste stören, dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts.
