¿Qué puedo decir de este lugar que no se haya dicho ya?
¡Es una pequeña joya fantástica!
Todo el lugar es absolutamente precioso, con magníficas vistas de las montañas, una hermosa piscina grande y muchos lugares para sentarse y relajarse en el hermoso jardín.

Nuestro apartamento era muy espacioso, estaba muy bien decorado y muy bien equipado.

Cada mañana se servía un desayuno diferente y delicioso en su terraza privada con vistas a la piscina y unas vistas impresionantes.

Y la guinda del pastel: ¡Shaun y Michael son unos anfitriones fabulosos!

La acogedora personalidad de Michael & Shaun fue muy evidente en Finca Gran Cerros; en tres palabras: elegante, cálido y sencillo. El pensamiento personal y la atención a cada detalle fueron evidentes en el alojamiento, desde la ropa de cama y las toallas de calidad con el olor más fresco hasta los hermosos difusores caseros en cada habitación. Nuestro apartamento elegante y de calidad era espacioso y estaba impecablemente limpio. La zona del patio era muy acogedora contemplando la puesta de sol sobre las montañas, cenando platos recién hechos en casa y bebiendo vino local de buena calidad. Los desayunos volvieron a ser excelentes: se ofrecía algo diferente todos los días y todo muy fresco y muy bien presentado. Todo acerca de Finca Gran Cerros es una reseña de 5 estrellas y más. Había esperado algunos años para encontrar disponibilidad adecuada para visitarlos, ya que la disponibilidad siempre era limitada, ¡pero ahora puedo ver por qué! Por lo tanto, después de mi primer día había vuelto a reservar para una segunda estadía y no puedo esperar a regresar a su pequeño oasis en las montañas.

Si bien no tuve el placer de llamar hogar a este lugar mientras estuve en las colinas al norte de Álora, ciertamente me hicieron sentir como en casa mientras visitaba a amigos que se hospedaban en Finca Gran Cerros.

Honestamente, ubicada entre Álora y el Valle de Abdalajis, no encontrará una Finca que iguale la elegancia y belleza que Michael y Shaun han evocado dentro de los muros de Gran Cerros.

Se puede ver visiblemente la pasión que se ha derramado desde sus almas genuinas y de buen corazón en la Finca, desde la entrada hasta las paredes exteriores de la piscina, esta Finca es incomparable.

¡Michael y Shaun son un brillante ejemplo de brillantez cuando se trata de brindar un servicio de primer nivel junto con su hospitalidad! ¡Brindan una experiencia acogedora en todo su esplendor!

Si no se hubiera reservado con tanta antelación, definitivamente buscaría llamar hogar a esta hermosa Finca por un período temporal y ¡estoy seguro de que algún día lo haré!

Fabulous place to stay but isolated which is what we wanted. The boys made us very welcome and provided excellent meals over our eight nights stay

Complete chill out and battery recharge. This place is only 10min drive from nearest town but could be 100. Very relaxing and chilled atmosphere nothing to think about from arrival to departure. Delicious breakfast and evening meal (on request) made fresh on site. We had the 2 bed apartment and can't fault it. Michael and Sean are excellent host and make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as they can. Can't recommend this place enough, if your travelling this area see if they have any vacancies yiu won't be dissapointed.

Just returned after 4 spectacular days here. The most idilic setting, for the most tranquil stay. Everything was first class but the hosts, Shaun & Michael, just take it to another level, thank you x

Michael and Shaun have created a truly wonderful space in the most magnificent location. Everything is of the highest standard: the beautiful and comfortable accommodation; the amazing toiletries and fragrances; the equally amazing food. All that alone is impressive. Add to that two warm, generous and kind human beings and there it is.the ultimate rural retreat. I spent 10 days there and loved every single second. Cannot wait to return. I can't recommend Finca Gran Cerros highly enough so, if you're thinking of taking a trip to Spain, stay here. Please. You will love it.

Tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de una estancia maravillosa de cuatro noches en la finca, en concreto en el apartamento de dos dormitorios.
La finca es un oasis en el valle de Abdalajís, muy cerca de Álora.
Tanto la vegetación, como las instalaciones (piscina, bar de la honestidad, jacuzzi) están muy bien cuidados e invitan a la desconexión y al relax y por la noche se disfruta de un cielo limpio y del silencio.
El apartamento en sí era súper amplio, decorado hasta el último detalle y equipado con todo lo necesario (menaje, sábanas, toallas, geles y cremas de fabricación propia por los propietarios de la finca).
Shaun y Michael son muy agradables y detallistas, siempre abiertos a conversar y pendientes de las necesidades de los huéspedes. Nos recibieron y nos despidieron con galletas caseras. Los desayunos servidos por ellos en la terraza privada del apartamento eran realmente deliciosos (mermeladas caseras, productos km 0, todo de gran calidad). Nosotros no tuvimos la ocasión de probar las cenas, pero también se pueden contratar y así no salir de la finca.
Sin duda nos encantó nuestro paso por esta bonita casa y estamos deseando volver y repetir la experiencia.

Finca Gran Cerros is truly a hidden gem in the Andalusia region. To be honest 5 stars is not enough. Shaun & Michael (the hosts) have nailed it! Everything is finished to a such a high standard / the decor of our apartment (2 bedroom) was very tastefully done, the tiling in the bathroom! Plus lots of lovely little touches, such as their own toiletries in the bathroom (that’s a other story as they too are fantastic!), plus homemade cookies on arrival! They have not missed a trick!

The scenery is beyond words, we loved having breakfast on our private terrace each morning, just looking at the outstanding views, plus did the same thing again in the evening, watching the sun setting with a glass of wine.

You do not need to even need leave the property to go out for an evening meal if you don’t want to as they will cook
Dinner for you if you required - again amazing cooks! Plus the outdoor kitchen, with its honesty bar, caters for every wine taste, along with a great beer & spirit selection, it is another added bonus - just fantastic!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place & believe me, both my Husband & I are not easy to please! Definitely returning next year!

Fantastic peaceful retreat. The hosts are very amenable and can't do enough for you. A bit isolated but that's the beauty of it.

It was a fantastic few days. Shaun and Michael were great hosts and we ate in every night, the vegetarian food was superb. Rooms were lovely and it was so relaxing. Would thoroughly recommend it. We shall definitely be going back!

The Finca and the gardens are absoloutely beautiful and so calming but what makes this such a special place is the care and attention of Michael and Shaun.

We spent 5 nights at the finca and from the moment we arrived we were able to relax into our break thanks to the very warm welcome from our hosts.

As many reviews have said there is so much to see and do in the area and I'm sure the next time we visit (and we defintely will!) we will investigate more but this break was about resting and recharging batteries and we certainly did that in a beautiful environment.

Fabulous daily changing breakfasts on our private terrace set us up for the day and we also had an evening meal on a number of nights too which were all delicious.

This is just a beautiful place to come not just for rest and relaxation but a touch of luxury too.

Absolutely AMAZING place
all mod cons but retaining the traditional Spanish feel in the Casitas. Michael and Shaun are fabulous hosts, they made us feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble for them, food is sumptuous and tasty with generous portions, can't wait to visit again, they may have to evict me!

I cannot express into words the place, hospitality and phenomenal stay we had. Shaun and Michael are superb hosts and their food fantastic.i fully recommend staying here for great access to El Chorro and El Camito del rey We spent 4 nights there for our wedding anniversary. Their thought of every little detail from the pillow spray to the home cooked cookies & drinks on arrival. Plus many other extras make this an extra special experience.
Overall the outstandingly, beautiful setting
with it’s many little extra details alongside Shaun & Michaels wonderful hosting made this a truly 5* experience for us.
This is definitely a place to visit for those that like and expect a warm friendly environment with a 5*quality.

The Hosts Michael & Shaun were very welcoming. Our two bedroom apartment was excellent and had magnificent views of the mountains and surrounding areas and the pool of course. You can see how much thought has gone into making guests feel comfortable from delicious home cooked meals lovingly prepared if you request it. From tappas, rustic pizzas, paellas and salads all given that extra touch with freshly grown herbs from the garden to sweet treats like orange drizzle cake. If you prefer to cook for yourself you can do your own self catering. There are some lovely gifts I will be purchasing from here as a momentum, beautifully smelling candles. This place is a little hidden gem, don't want to leave but will definitely book to come back again.

Found a little piece of paradise on earth! Loved the location, atmosphere and hospitality of Finca Gran Cerros. I have enjoyed everything, from breakfast in the morning to the sunset view from the hot tub. Our apartment was amazing full of little details that really make the difference. We loved the outdoor space with the table and chairs. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the nature. If I could rate 10 stars I would do it Thank you Shaun and Michael for going above and beyond and make this trip unforgettable, we will be back very soon!

I cannot recommend FCG enough! From the moment we arrived until my husband had to crowbar me into the car for home.it was pure bliss. The accomodation is spotless, spacious, extremely well thought out and has everything you could need for a break in the stunning hills of Alora. There are a multitude of things to do whilst based here. We did the quad bikes which were fabulous (separate review!) and would have done Caminito del Ray but it didn't open again until the day after we left
There is adventure, history and exploration all within a few minutes drive.
However, when you have the privacy of your own terrace, the pool, hot tub and multiple relaxing hidden gems around the grounds.who wants to always be doing? !
The communal bar area and outside kitchen is a stroke of genius! Homefired pizzas or fresh bbq.washed down with your favourite (& very reasonably priced!) beverage.what is not to love? !
Practically - comfortable bed, large shower (with gel, shampoo etc), full kitchen, hairdryer, ironing board etc etc!
We spent 2 nights here and decided we could happily do 10 with all the different areas to visit, things to do and of course - the most fabulous hosts! Shaun & Michael could not do enough for us. Never intrusive but always on hand, they have a wealth of knowledge to help you decide your days and are talented chefs to boot. If you are looking to visit the area, choose Finca Gran Cerros and add an extra day just because.x

We had such a wonderful stay at Finca Gran Cerros! We felt very much at home, the location is great with an amazing view. Make sure to have diner at least once, it’s served on your private terrace and delicious. Also the wine served with food was amazing. Shaun and Michael were lovely host, thanks you for a great stay and experience!

Stunning mountain location, beautiful apartments, great pool and jacuzzi and thoughtful hosts. Perfect location for exploring the mountains around Malaga, and for day trips to the coast. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing break.

Tout était simplement parfait: l'emplacement, la partie privative, l'accueil chaleureux de Shaun (avec des petites attentions nominatives et en francais s'il vous plaît!), la chambre décorée avec goût, la piscine, la vue, le petit-déjeuner fabuleux avec des produits faits-maison ou locaux au minimum.nous y serions bien restés quelques jours de plus, sans hésiter. Merci encore pour tout, et ce serait avec plaisir s'il y avait un prochain séjour chez vous!

We spent a fantastic week at Finca Gran Cerros where we absolutely spoilt by our hosts Shaun and Michael. The food and service was constantly above and beyond, and our hosts could not be more attentive. The apartment and villa is stunning, with plenty of different areas to relax, eat, and sunbath. This is the perfect getaway for those who are looking for a relaxing couple of days, or acts as a great base for those looking to explore Andalusia. Shaun and Michael really do get the 'little touches' right, with homemade candles, jam, and other amenities as well. Breakfasts are sizeable and drink measures are very good as well. Will definitely be returning!

Had an absolutely fantastic few days at Finca Gren Cerros this week! Shaun and Michael were wonderful, attentive hosts who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food provided was great and the villa was gorgeous - felt like true paradise! A great base for exploring Andalusia - less than an hour's drive from the amazing Caminito del Rey and an hour and a half from Ronda which was a great day trip. Can't wait to come back!

I have just returned from a week's stay at Finca Gran Cerros and had the most amazing and relaxing holiday. Michael and Shaun are wonderful hosts and work incredibly hard to ensure that all guests are looked after. There are 3 self catering guest apartments - I stayed in the lower level one, which was beautifully furnished, homely, stylish, incredibly well equipped and had all sorts of lovely 'extras' - room scents, lavender pillow spray, cookies, milk and orange juice. I had my own private veranda overlooking the pool, where a complimentary breakfast was brought to me each morning. They use fresh local produce including oranges, figs and grapes from the garden. Michael makes home made jams - grape jam, figs and rosemary jam and lemon and vodka marmalade.all of which are fantastic!
The pool is wonderful and a good size (I could get 10 front crawl strokes in) and it was never crowded. The views are out of this world.you look down the valley at the mountains and the sunsets are just stunning. As a gallstone sufferer I need a very low fat diet and so I was a bit worried about travelling to Spain. However, Michael and Shaun provide an optional evening meal so I went for that every evening. They checked carefully about my dietary requirements and home cooked utterly delicious meals which were beautifully crafted and presented including paella, pork medallions and even a low fat pizza! They advised me about local places to visit and booked me onto the quad biking day which was just one of the best days ever.visiting viewpoints and lakes and many dirt tracks!
If you are looking for a perfect rural retreat, up in the mountains, listening to the wind in the trees, with wonderful hosts and amazing accommodation then book! It is a little bit of paradise and I will definitely be going back! Thank you Michael and Shaun - you're the best!

La verdad es que no sabíamos nada de este sitio y nos ha sorprendido muy gratamente.

Las instalaciones son una maravilla y Michael y Shaun son unos anfitriones increibles, simpáticos y muy atentos.

El apartamento en el que estuvimos era precioso y muy completo. Además tiene una piscina y un jacuzzi ideal para ver los atardeceres.

Un sitio muy que recomendamos 100%. ¡Sin duda volveremos!

We were very satisfied of our stay at the beautiful and calm place of Shaun and Michael. They’re hosts who know exactly how to make their guests feel special and at ease. We had a very cosy and clean appartment, where they clearly put incredibly much effort in the details to make you feel at home. They’re both good cooks who make dinner at affordable prices and they make healthy breakfast as well. They also offer a variety of activities in the area, all thorougly explained. It was simply a wonderful stay that deserves 5 stars!

My husband and I had an amazing break at Finca Gran Cerros. Michael and Shaun were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome! Our apartment was super clean, with all the amenities and lots of attention to detail. The breakfasts were delicious, filling and full of variety every day. We really enjoyed the homemade treats! Evening dinners were superb, great value and we loved every bite! The property is really beautiful and well kept, set against spectacular scenery. The pool is clean, well maintained and a great size to relax in. Finca Gran Cerros is everything we wanted from a rural retreat, with a peaceful location, fantastic hosts and close to interesting places like El Chorro and the Caminito Del Rey. En primer lugar me gustaría destacar el trato familiar que nos han dado tanto Michael como Shawn que son los propietarios, durante toda la estancia no nos ha faltado nada.
Tiene la comodidad de un hotel y la tranquilidad de vivir en el campo.
El servicio impecable por parte de los anfitriones, están disponibles en cualquier momento que los necesites. Cuidan todos los detalles, desde los ambientadores, perfumes, galletas elaboradas por ellos mismos, bebidas de cortesía y un recibimiento muy acogedor. Buena calidad de menaje, todo tipo de electrodomésticos, toallas de baño y piscina de buena calidad, todo tipo protectores solares a tu disposición, variedad de juegos de mesa, aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones y desayunos elaborados y servidos por ellos.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en famille (deux adultes deux enfants) dans ce site avec des vues spectaculaires sur les collines andalouses. Très confortable avec des hôtes très sympathiques et prévenants.
Lieu idéalement placé entre Antequera et Malaga, et près du Caminito del Rey
