Completé mi EP y CP con flyspain y desde entonces he regresado para un curso de mentor plus y cuatro semanas de XC, incluido un viaje increíble a Columbia.

La instrucción y guía es fantástica. Hacen todo lo posible para asegurarse de que vuele tanto como sea posible y también son personas realmente encantadoras (¡importante para la espera!)

El alojamiento es cómodo y un gran lugar para descansar con muchas áreas agradables al aire libre (¡y piscina!). Con alojamiento y traslado al aeropuerto incluidos el precio es excelente.

Algo es un gran lugar para aprender y para volar largas distancias. ¡Ir!

Pasé dos semanas en esta maravillosa escuela, donde los instructores me llevaron desde que nunca había tocado un parapente a través del EP y CP con mucha paciencia y un excelente entrenamiento.

A pesar de ser mediados de enero, solo tuvimos unos pocos días en los que no pudimos volar y el personal se aseguró de que estuviéramos entretenidos, ofreciéndonos sugerencias y organizando viajes para nosotros.

Para cualquiera que quiera aprender a volar en parapente, no puedo recomendar esta empresa lo suficiente.

Completado 2 semanas 0- Curso de paramotor Hero. El clima fue excelente (finales de enero). ¡Los instructores Dave, Paulo, Dori y Marcello fueron fantásticos! Paciente y siempre explicó las tareas en detalle para que se sintiera seguro y en buenas manos. Pasé un par de semanas estupendas en FlySpain aprendiendo a volar en paramotor sin experiencia previa. La ubicación era perfecta para volar con un clima excelente incluso en noviembre. Dave y Paulo son excelentes instructores y la progresión es rápida. Pasé de no saber absolutamente nada a volar durante 45 minutos seguidos.

Acabo de terminar el curso de paramotor 0-héroe. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente: Dave y Paulo fueron excelentes instructores y se aseguraron de que todos progresáramos de forma segura y cómoda.
La casa es estupenda, la ubicación es excepcional. Compré el kit al final y volveré para recibir más instrucciones. Gracias a todos.

Recientemente completé un curso MP con Flyspain y recomiendo encarecidamente la experiencia. Los instructores fueron geniales y me transmitieron confianza para ayudarme a seguir progresando. Ya he reservado otro curso. Animo amigos.

Acabo de pasar una semana absolutamente increíble en el curso de primaria de Fly Spain.
Rob y su equipo de instructores son LOS mejores. Gracias a su paciencia, empatía y, por supuesto, experiencia, todos en mi curso progresaron constantemente a través de los conceptos básicos y hasta un vuelo de 5 km desde la colina local de 1000 m, descendiendo 600 m en un vuelo de aproximadamente 10 minutos.
Ninguno de nuestro grupo había volado en parapente antes y me sorprende que todos hayamos podido progresar a este nivel de competencia y confianza en tan solo una semana de vuelo.
Tengo miedo a las alturas pero, gracias al entrenamiento de Rob y a la atención al detalle que me infundió una gran confianza, no tuve la más mínima preocupación en ningún momento de la semana.
Para cualquiera que quiera aprender a volar o mejorar sus habilidades, recomiendo Fly Spain. De hecho, diría que ni siquiera te molestes en buscar en ningún otro lado. Desde entonces, inscribí en su curso Club Pilot y me veo progresando aún más con ellos durante muchos años más.

Gran escuela para aprender a volar en parapente. Tuve una experiencia maravillosa y me sentí muy seguro. Además la casa donde nos alojamos era genial. ¡Estaré detrás!

¡Lo pasé increíble aquí! ¡Me inscribí en EP de parapente y los dos instructores que tuvimos fueron de primera categoría! ¡Daron prioridad a la seguridad y nos hicieron volar cada vez que pudimos! Como EP, pudimos saltar desde una colina de 1200 m, ¡dos veces!

¡El alojamiento fue lo mejor que puedo pedir! ¡Gracias a los anfitriones por la fiesta de paella!

I did my paramotoring ep and cp course with Fly Spain and have already been back on. Guided weeks holiday. Couldn’t have had a better experience and look forward to more weeks in the south of Spain. Highly recommended.

What a blast! I’ve just completed the EP BHPA qualification and couldn’t be happier. I was a little hesitant to commit to this course as it seemed expensive compared to what I had seen advertised elsewhere. But I have no regrets; it has felt professional and worthwhile all the way through. I feel well prepared to continue learning and practicing flying.

Firstly, I have found the entire learning experience great!
The instructors have been clear in their instructions and lessons, and very approachable and knowledgeable.
We were given plenty of opportunity to practise in low risk environments and felt confident when we had the opportunity to spread our wings, pun intended.

Living in the shared accommodation had been a hoot. The other students have been great and there has been a great sense of camaraderie amongst us fledgling pilots, plus it has helped to work through all the dumb questions. Not to mention being able to share the stoke with them! Despite a difference in age and background, everyone is here for the same reason so it’s been easy to get along and love together.

The accommodation has been very well appointed and comfortable. House is warm, there is a pool which would be nice in summer, and it’s in a nice part of town. WiFi is good- only downside is no HDMI cable or chrome cast for watching paragliding movies on the TV in our own time.
Algodonales itself has been a great experience. A plethora of local bars, a good enough super market, and a real village feel.

All the equipment has been modern and safe. We saw some other schools practicing on older gear, which I am sure is fine but it’s good to be on new equipment so you know it’s not the wing that’s holding you back.

Price wise, it seems expensive but having completed the course I feel it was great value for money. Instructors that are great teachers and pilots in their own right with years and years of experience has meant that I feel safe and competent, not to mention totally hooked on flying!

Obviously, the weather is out of their control, and we copped a few days of conditions ill-suited to beginners. FlySpain made efforts to ensure this time wasn’t wasted so that we were able to capitalise on the good days and make real progress.

Overall, I am stoked with the course offered by FlySpain and would recommend it without hesitation!

Incredible all the way! What an amazing experience that was. I could not have dreamt of a better way to become a paragliding pilot. If you’re looking to become a real and capable paragliding pilot, Flyspain is the only way to go, hands down.

I can’t wait to go back to meet the team again and fly in one of the beautiful south of Spain.

O to Hero course, a fantastic 2 week course for absolute beginners. What an adventure! Staff are brilliant and expertly trained, extremely patient and so much knowledge that you know your in safe hands. Accommodation was great with everything you needed to make your stay comfortable, all the equipment supplied and checked daily. Don’t delay, book up, and start flying today! You won’t regret it.

2021: Epic paragliding trip this October! Well organised, real nice accommodation, and excellent guiding. PB altitudes and XC distances. Fantastic place to fly and learn thermals. Real good value for money.

Finished both my EP and CP at Fly Spain, would highly recommend. They have access to private locations for teaching which was ideal for learning, and the instructors I had were personable. Planning on coming back for a XC course!

FlySpain Mentor Plus is the best course to take after completing CP. I have attended 2 MP already and planning on a third one. I love the way that it’s designed to get you as many flying hours as possible during the week but always keeping safety in mind. FlySpain team (Fred and Paolo) drove us twice during the week to Matalascañas since the mountains in Algodonales weren’t flyable. We got 2-4 hours soaring time at the beach and it was awesome. Ended up the week with a sunset flight out of El Bosque which it’s always nice. I will definitely recommend this course to any low air pilots looking to maximize air time and to get better at flying. Many thanks to Rob, Nic and the entire FlySpain Team for the great accommodations and for always treating everyone as family. See you all soon!

So far so great. I just booked an elementary course for August and Kate has been incredibly helpful. The other schools I rang seemed genuinely disinterested and unwilling to answer basic questions

Decided that I wanted to learn how to Paramotor and was lucky to get a last minute place.

I was on the hero to zero 10 day course, I found it very exhilarating, pushed me to my limits and beyond. But with the encouragement from everyone managed to achieve my club pilot licence. I can’t thank everyone enough I made some fantastic new friends, had a lot of laughs and learnt a lot of new skills.

Rob and his amazing team Dave, Dylan, Aaron and Paulo were extremely experienced and supportive, a fantastic bunch of highly skilled and friendly instructors.

The accommodation was first class, thank you Nic for the barbecue and your fantastic hospitality.

What an experience. The accommodation was excellent, (super comfy bed), with everything you need for the two weeks, the location is beautiful, but most of all, FlySpain's training was outstanding.

Informative, relaxed, detailed in places and more importantly their approach to safety was paramount.

These guys got 6 adults, who have never flown a kite before let alone a paramotor, flying within 10 days and it's one of the best experiences you will have, as well as making good friends along the way. (genuinely never laughed so much)

Big thank you to Dave our instructor, Rob and Paulo. Nothing was too much trouble and I can't recommend FlySpain enough. Beat the UK weather and get it done it two weeks. You wont regret it.

What a fantastic experience. Made some good friends and learnt to fly! Very professional and safe instruction that took our group from novices to pilots with total safety. Then we took to the skies and flew our little hearts out!

The Fly Spain EP was a fantastic week thanks to instructor Fred Gustafsson’s professionalism and vast paragliding knowledge. The entire team, facilities and equipment at Fly Spain are exceptional, as is their focus on skills development in a fun, progressive and safe environment. Thanks!

Following a number of months of trying to get training in the UK and constantly being grounded due to poor weather we decided to take the plunge and find an intense course abroad that had guaranteed flying weather. We did a little research and consistently came with the same name for FlySpain so we gave Rob a call direct to tell him our situation on Nov 25th 2021, he managed to get us on a course for Dec 10th.
We arrived in Algondares at 2pm and found ourselves foot launching a glider from a low hillside by 5pm that day
At the end of day 5 we both now have club pilot (novice) rating.

As for the team, I couldn’t praise them enough, a massive wealth of experience and patience from Rob Mansley (lead instructor/owner) and Dave Manning (newest team member) but also the rest of Rob’s family who all pitch in in running the courses and it was a pleasure to meet Nic, Dylan and Rossie.

Will definitely recommend FlySpain to anyone wanting to get into either Paramotoring or Paragliding, we have had an absolute blast and will at some point be looking to either get on a guided tour or additional training.

I did my cp and a mentor course, Rob, Nik and the whole crew where fantastic. I started off very new to the sport and by the end I was soaring with the vultures for over an hour and a half with a 1000 meters of elevation gain!
I will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Super couple of weeks spent with FlySpain. My daughter did her EP course and I completed my CP. The facilities are the best around and the instructors we both had were great. Paragliding, especially at the beginner level is highly element dependent, but our instructors did a great job finding us flying and ground handling conditions. My two daughters are hoping to get back to do their CP course together. Girls can fly too!

John was our host for a week of paragliding in Lanzarote - awesome coaching, great flying, very knowledgeable tour guide and what an awesome chef too!

Amazing mentors lead our CP+ mentor class. They balanced the needs of all the students quite well. I learned a lot and got the flying time I needed. The acomodations are also nice for the price - we're paragliders, simple people, and the house was stunning in its views and open porches and balconies. I plan on going back when my schedule allows, to learn and play more in a controlled, safe, adventurous environment.

I came for a zero to hero course over 2 weeks and had a great time. Well organised, good accommodation, great instructor and amazing flying. Very highly recommend!

Superb instructors, great flying sites and weather makes FlySpain the ideal paragliding school. The crew is friendly and professional. They teach the BHPA standard of flying and never risk your safety. You will fly with trained instructors who guide you on radio and debrief you how you can become better. As a low airtime pilot - me and few other pilots in our group managed to become better pilots and flew someday 2+hrs. I’d highly recommend - Rob Mansely FlySpain to learn and gain confidence in flying.

A terrific location and very professional staff who help you climb the learning curve rapidly and safely, while enjoying a holiday atmosphere and a variety of company. My group was able to go out and do ground-handling and flying six days out of six, completing the EP course in four days and carrying on to make the most of the last two. Consistent T-shirt weather the whole week (late September). It was everything I hoped for and I plan to come back for the CP course.

UPDATE: I've just been back for the long-awaited CP course. Had a great time again, same friendly, professional staff, and great flying sites. I got over 3 hours airtime including a brilliant dune soaring flight and several big-hill flights. I got my rating and the whole week was a blast.

Exceeded expectations.

I did my CP course with FlySpain in June 2021. The instruction was great with a good balance between safety and pilot independence. Rob, his family and staff ensured that all us students had a great time flying in the sunny and beautiful Andalucía.

Couldn't recommend FlySpain more for your next paragliding adventure.

I had a great experience together with Rob my instructor at flyspain! I did my PPG course and all the equipment was great, we moved on in the course just after my own pace and i always felt safe and in focus.
I had my girlfriend with me and we both stayed in the lovely accomodation they offer just on the hillside of Algondales with top treass pool and a beautiful view over the whole valley! I also got to do a normal paraglide from one of their many sites and this is probably one of the most flyable place within a year due to all the different sites they have for different wind direction. Over all, great experience, great instructor, great course and great accomodation. I would recommend anyone thinking about paraglider or Paramotor to go to Flyspain for a great experience!

Great place to train.and great place for mentor support.did my EP/CP with FlySpain a couple years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.knowledgeable instructors comfy accommodation and awesome flying sites. Top quality kit to use during training and a brilliant deal on my hike n fly set up once I'd passed. Returned for a CP+ mentor week a year later and the guys took me to the next level.another great deal this year on a 2nd hand wing that I'd flown on CP+. No complaints at all.thanks to Ross, Pol, Stu and of course Rob. See you again in spring for another trip to base.

Amazing experience!
I joined Flyspain for the EP & CP Paragliding course and absolutely loved every piece of it! The instructors are extremely experienced, patient and definitely know how to teach in a safe but fun way! We learned a lot and spent more time in the air then expected.
The accommodation is lovely and you feel welcomed the moment you step through the door.

I highly recommend Flyspain to anybody that wants to learn or improve paragliding!

I booked to do a cp course with Flyspain, I was trying to built back my confidence after a little accident I had paragliding. I have to say I’m very impressed about the quality of teaching and the sensitive approach they use during the course. I would do it again any time. Thank you!

Fantastic way to learn to fly. I did EP in UK and it took a month to get 4 flying days, here just a week. Redid EP and then followed up CP. Great honest and helpful teachers. Great set up.

Accommodation is good, days are packed, people are fun.

If you want to learn to paraglide and want to do it quickly then I can't recommend FlySpain enough.

I couldn't have dreamt of a better start to my flying career! From the moment you are collected at the airport to your first flight, Rob and the skilful & carefully selected instructors at FlySpain make you feel comfortable, safe and welcome. But wait! It gets better; because this is no fair-weather flight school, and if you are not having the time of your life soaring over stunning scenery in the pearlescent Andalucian sky because the weather plays up one afternoon, these guys will get everyone on the bus and show you around the local wineries and hilltop cities. So if you are looking to start flying or to build on your current skills in the full safety of a British BHPA flight school that is vested in the whole end to end experience, look no further!

I’ve just completed and enjoyed a paragliding CP course at Flyspain, I will return to do more next year. It is a very professional business including the instructors, Niall who was our instructor maintained safety and confidence with a great bunch of lads, making a experience and a holiday that I never forget.

I took a conversion course with these guys from paragliding to paramotoring. I had a fantastic few days with Rob and his team, they got me flying and really made me feel part of the family. Looking forward to being able to get out there again sometime soon.

Took the opportunity during a trip to check out the different harnesses they stocked, which helped greatly in choosing my next one. It highlighted that light weight was what I needed, climbing British hills gets no easier, so I decided on the Woody Valley Wani Light 2. Being a reversible harness does away with carrying up the paraglider bag, saving well over a kilo straight off. The excellent design also cleverly uses lighter materials in areas that dont face high wear. Very easy to switch between harness and pack too. My standard wing fits in, just needing better packing as the volume is smaller than the standard bag.
Flying wise, simple to put on and then get into the seat after launch. Comfortable over an hour's flight and no reason to believe it wont be for much longer flights.
Really pleased with it.

I've wanted to try paragliding for a long time and after doing the EP course with Fly Spain its been the best experience I could wish for. I received excellent instruction from Niall who was without doubt an expert in his field and very knowlegeable in all aspects of paragliding. The accomodation was good and the location is absolutely outstanding. There was great craic every night in the village where the whole group went for meals together. I would highly recommend Fly Spain. So much so that I've booked another course in 4 weeks time.

Great, safe instruction with a sense of humour. I will definitely return for a fourth time to gain experience.

Had a amazing time on a XC course and flew my first 50km flight.

My girlfriend also took a EP & CP course and loved it.

I have completed many courses at FlySpain - EP, CP, Paramotor Conversion and a few Mentor Plus courses. All the instructors are superb - very knowledgeable and great fun. Safety is paramount and they really do teach you the proper way to fly. Algodonales is a beautiful town, and the surrounding area is how I imagine the Highlands of Scotland to be (mountains, lochs & castles), but in the sun! It's a great place to go, relax and recharge before returning to my stressful job. The accomodation is lovely, they even write the pilots name in chalk on the door, and there is the option to have your own room. What's more, Rob gets you a great deal on your paragliding kit when you decide to buy your own (which you will). Flying with vultures and eagles in Algo is not something to be missed. A truely magical experience!

One of the best paragliding school's out there! There kit is all up to date and they always have the newest kit available. There staff are very friendly and great instructors/TI's, the accomodation is really good with great views from the balcony and the town square with all the bars is a 2 minute walk away!

Took SIV with Niall. Excellent experience. Knowledgeable, calm, with a deep understanding of flight dynamics left me wanting to learn more. Being a paramotor pilot, be prepared to be patient as SIV is a single tow at a time and one can expect two flights a day, on top of weather delays. Leto the PPG instructor is fantastic and approachable as well.

I booked on the Paramotor Zero-to-Hero course after unpredictable weather in the UK left me with countless wasted days-off. With FlySpain, 7 out of 9 days we were in the field, either flying or practising on the ground and the other 2 we tackled theory and exams for EP and CP. I was comforted by the balance of safety to enjoyment. The instructors let us get well dug in to the training and were enthusiastic for us to progress, whilst still keeping a close eye on the conditions and calling us in when weather started to pick up a bit. We were in the air on day 2, having lots of short take off and landings on the hill as the winch site wasn't usable due to recent heavy rainfall. Still, we we're able to get a good feel for flying the glider and landing safely into wind.
The equipment we got to try out was all of really good quality, and had a good selection to try out before making a decision to purchase something after the course, which was at very competitive prices against other UK dealers.
I had a minor issue with my room mate's unholy snoring, of course this was nothing to do with FlySpain but they were helpful enough to give me a different accommodation so I could get some sleep. I'd recommend paying the extra for a single room to avoid things like that.
The town you stay in, Algodonales, has some very cheap places to eat. Would recommend Canijo's as the place to eat. You can ask any of the staff and they'll give you the places to use and the places to avoid.

Overall, couldn't be happier with the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn to paraglide / paramotor, or even experienced flyers looking to enjoy some air time in the south of Spain. I'll be coming back myself in not too long.

Great CP course, with great teachers. The flying sites are perfect for building confidence and covering the necessary parts of the CP course. The town house was great and the restaurants on town are cheap and good. Highly recommend!

I spent two weeks here to complete both the EP and CP (Power) courses.
A pleasant mix of people, enthusiastic instructors, basic and perfectly adequate accommodation (I'd recommend going for a single room if you can get one).
The town centre is a 5 minute walk away and there are umpteen family run restaurants all offering incredibly cheap meals. The 'tapas' are meals in themselves. A great atmosphere in this rural town centre.

Just had two excellent weeks of training with brilliant instruction throughout. If you want to Paraglide this is the place to do it! I'll be going back soon!
