Una joya escondida, servicio amable, amigable y profesional.
La comida era realmente buena, demasiada acidez con el Yuzu.
La selección de vinos y tequilas también fue buena.
Una velada tranquila pero el ambiente tranquilo era bueno.
3/4 porque falta la shisha. Su página web decía shisha pero no es posible pedirla. Volvería y espero una shisha después de cenar la próxima vez.

Visitado el 2 de septiembre. Hermosos patios interiores y exteriores. Precioso ambiente relajado. Los camareros son profesionales pero amables. La comida era excelente al igual que el vino. (Rosie Arzuaga) teníamos cochinillo cocido a fuego lento y lubina como platos principales que recomendaríamos.

Increíble lugar con un gran ambiente! El lugar es hermoso gran servicio. La comida es fresca y tan elegantemente servida. ¡Todo perfecto!

La intoxicación alimentaria también es más barata.
La versión gratuita: Averigüe cuándo y dónde un supermercado de su elección desecha la carne caducada. Ve allí, intenta conseguir un trozo de rosbif/solomillo y pícalo. Para estar seguro, también puede interrumpir la cadena de frío por un tiempo. Prepara el tartar de ternera frente a tus invitados en un baño de cubitos de hielo y sazónalo abundantemente para contrarrestar las dudas que puedan surgir sobre la frescura del producto. Sirve el tartar. Sus invitados probablemente obtendrán la reacción esperada después de unas horas.
La opción cara (alrededor de 60€ por persona) : Reúnete en Fons con conocidos que hace años que no ves. Después de todo, debe ser algo especial. Disfrute de un aperitivo en la zona al aire libre ciertamente acogedora. Luego pida 2 tartar de ternera, porque no hay ni el risotto de boletus mencionado en el menú en línea ni ningún plato con atún. Preparación ver versión gratuita. Celebre su reunión un poco más y maneje de regreso a su hogar.
Después de unas horas, mi amigo y yo mostramos todos los signos de intoxicación alimentaria, no entraré en más detalles en este punto.
La carne en mal estado nos la sirvieron el 28 de marzo de 2023 a eso de las 20: 50 horas.
Una queja escrita de mis conocidos quedó sin respuesta, por lo tanto, solo 1 * con un servicio bueno, pero de ninguna manera excepcional.

Friendly and efficient waiter, nicely decorated restaurant lacked atmosphere with no music, flowers or candles.
First course, prawn pilpil. Basic Spanish dish gone wrong with over cooked prawns, request for additional garlic and chilly ignored.
€34 duck, came dry, skin not crispy, accompanying pancakes and sides short on supply.
Disappointing salmon followed by disappointing lava chocolate cake. Nothing like our last visit.
Waiter knew we were not happy but no recourse nor offers of a chapito

We were so looking forward to visiting this restaurant and in terms of location, ambiance and service we were not disappointed. Lovely terrace and the service was friendly and helpful.
Regrettably the food did not live up to expectations, I had the Rack of Lamb which was a very small portion and my wife had the Fillet of Steak which despite asking for medium was very rare. The accompanying vegetables were bland. Certainly disappointing and overpriced. The wine list was very good.

Este restaurante tiene un entorno precioso y la atención de los camareros y camareras es muy amable y profesional.
Curiosamente todos los comensales eran extranjeros y les pareció curioso que dos españoles acudiéramos al restaurante.
La carta me pareció bastante subida de precio y la opción de carnes y pescados me parecía demasiado pesada aunque luego vi que las raciones eran bastante pequeñas.
Quería comer algo vegetariano o vegano pero solo había un único plato de coliflor y la otra opción era “ensalada mixta” y “parrilla de verduras”.
Eso me pareció un error abismal de las opciones del menú ya que si eres vegetariano y aún más vegano te reduce las elecciones a un único plato y los demás comensales disponen de platos muy sofisticados mientras te comes una “ensalada mixta” con una “parrillada de verduras”.
Es un restaurante precioso y con una magnífica atención y la comida es buenísima pero con un precio elevado y sin opciones vegetarianas.

We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday (today!) Amd it was surprisingly busy.the setting is beautiful; a wonderfully restored finca, but the location is a bit random.
The initial greeting was a bit off (as we did not make a reservation) as I’d estimate around a fifth of the tables were taken, but we went with it.the staff seem to be a little pre occupied with other things going on In the restaurant, and whilst they are quick to take your order, the general service is amongst the worst we have experienced this summer (we live here!)
The wine is super expensive by the glass (10€ Per glass for a dreadful rioja and 14€ Per glass of Ribera which was very good, expensive for a glass of drinkable red!), so I’d suggest just buying a bottle - again, no help or suggestions from the staff on wines.
Starter and main we great for both of us (oysters, Vitello tonato, fillet steak and grilled sole fish) but the dessert (homemade profiteroles apparently) tasted like they came from Iceland. We left pretty much the entire dessert and after an hour of our plates being left on the table we asked for the bill, and there was no mention of “was there a problem here”.
Also worth mentioning that when we said the salt pit doesn’t let salt out, only to be told “that’s the pepper”, doesn’t really help (neither the salt or pepper worked, only a minor thing but again an example of the service to expect here).
This could be a great restaurant, but the prices are just way too high (the above came to €135!) and for the location and service it just isn’t worth it. This restaurant is up against some of the best on the coast, as I can only presume that all these 5* reviews came from clients who haven’t tried anywhere else to eat other than estepona marina?
To give an example, this is the same price as what you’d pay at a Dani Garcia restaurant, or (a perfect example) either Casanis in Marbella’s stunning old town, at the fabulous monkey club at the puente romano hotel on the golden mile - similar menu, similar price, but nowhere near the food quality or service received at either of these two examples, not to mention the area differences (Fons is pretty much on the motorway in the middle of nowhere!)
A real shame, massively let down by the staff tonight and we will not be returning unfortunately.

I highly recommend FONS! I loved the food, the ambiance, the service, the building and decor, the style! I can't wait to go again!

Wonderful food (we had fillet steak and pork ribs), service great but most importantly what s beautiful place to sit and eat. Go there, you won't regret a second of it

Desde que abrieron su puesta no llamo la atención y aceptamos, personal muy atento y simpático, comida muy buena y de calida lunga traquilo y bien montado su patio muy bonito un sitio para ir si prisas

Having a restaurant like this is a great addition to the area and enhances the Estepona experience. Good food and great service. Can find no fault.

This is a new restaurant to the Golden Mile. The building has been wonderfully restored. The outside seating area delightful. However, the wait for our first course was way too long - one hour - and then the second course was served immediately. The balance needs to be addressed. This is not an inexpensive restaurant so service should be spot on!

Amazing food and staff. One of the best pieces of beef I’ve ever had. The place is beautifully decorated with an amazing wine selection as you walk in. Outside seating in a upper class surrounding.

Es un restaurante super bonito, acogedor, la comida esta de espectacular una mezcla de sabores buenísima con mucho gusto, e disfrutado cada bocado. El servicio inmejorable super amables y atentos sin llegar a ser pesados. Me enamoré del lugar y de la comida. El postre no tengo palabras para describir lo buena que estaba esa tarta de zanahorias.
