Acabo de terminar una gran semana con Jeff construyendo un curso de Day Skipper que completé con él hace varios años cuando mi esposa completó Comp Crew. Jeff es brillante en impartir el nivel adecuado de información para aprovechar la experiencia previa y obtuve muchas técnicas y consejos nuevos. No podría recomendarlo más, sea cual sea su nivel de experiencia previa.

Jeff es un gran marinero con 30 años de experiencia y un maestro increíble. Siempre lo hace fácil y muy práctico. Si realmente quieres aprender a navegar y saber lo que haces, ¡él es la persona adecuada! Gracias y definitivamente regresaré

Just back from a fantastic week on a Yachtmaster Preparation course with Jeff, and cannot recommend it highly enough!
The standard of teaching is outstanding, and Gibraltar Bay the perfect venue to put your skills and knowledge to the test.

My husband and I have recently returned to Gibsailingschool to practice some sailing skills after two years covid 19 restrictions. Personally we believe Gibsailingschool is the best in Gibratar. We have gained a lot of confidence and learned a lot skills during the week. Especially Jeff Nunn, who is not only a great instructor and he is a very passionate sailor.

Superb sailing school and highly recommended for anyone that wants to learn how to sail or get the right RYA certification. Jeff is an excellent instructor. We had a group of different sailing abilities but Jeff made sure everyone had fun and learnt a lot.

Amazing experience with Lance on a 5 days course for competent crew and day skipper levels. We were 4 friends and despite little wind we learned so much with fun! Definitely the place to be to learn sailing with a great teacher!

If you really want to learn sailing, and not just get sailling certificates, Jeff's school is the place to go.

We were a group of 3 friends who had been sailing for a while in our local club and, after doing the RYA theory, we were ready for the practice. What a fantastic experience!

The Gibraltar Strait is a great place to learn sailing (as you have lots of different features), and the location is stunning.
We crossed the strait and went all the way to Ceuta, had a beautiful night sail, and so much more. And most importantly, we learned a lot.

Jeff is a direct, honest person. I appreciate those qualities in any instructor, but it may even save my life one day at sea. During the course, he was not nitpicky with details, he wanted us to learn what he considered essential, and we did.

In the end, I gained a ton of practical experience. On top of that, I must say I like Jeff. He shared lots of funny stories, which made me like sailing a bit more.

So this review will be slightly longer than your average one but I just wanted to give a more thorough overview of Gibsailing.

I’m a diving instructor so I’ve only been on ribs. This was my first time on a sailing yacht with 0 sailing experience. For this reason i did not show up with any expectorations.

1. If you are new to sailing like me you will probably wonder what the boat is really like and what does it feel to sleep on one. Let me tell you Jeff’s boat is amazing. There is plenty of space, clean and the bed is very comfy. There is plenty of space to sit and relax. This boat is fully equipped so if u wanna cook your own food one night u will have everything u need.
2. Marina it self is really nice. Clean and quiet with hot showers, laundry place where you can wash your clothes. I didn’t see any ribs or jet skies so u won’t be over run by crazy people.
3. Sailing course it self was super fun and very well structured. I’ve learned so much in the two week period its ridicules! Because I had 0 prior sailing experience I did my online day skipper theory and this came super handy. (Theory online course is amazing baby steps all the way so you are not overwhelmed by the amount of information). Jeff knew i was a “baby” on board of a sailing vessel so he was able to adapt. Mostly by giving some really helpful tips. The sailing concept and order of things when under sail etc was also explained to me very clearly which just meant my two weeks were some much more enjoyable. His super patient. There was 0 stress on the boat. Jess was super relaxed and really patient. As I was new to this whole sailing thing I just kept asking questions one after another and he was more then happy to explained everything and when u had some idea of what he was talking about then he would took extra time and explained stuff in more detail throwing in some super helpful tips! So yeah I could probably go on and on so just let me tell you his an EXCELLENT INSTRUCTOR!
4. More about Jeff! His your man! He really knows his sailing and his a great craic! Really funny guy who works really hard to make sure you have a good time and learn at the same time! His really passionate about sailing and you will be able to notice this straight away!
