High Flyers Tarifa

Tuve el placer de quedarme con Kevin en High Flyer Kite House. Es un excelente anfitrión.

Desafortunadamente, me topé con su albergue porque necesitaba una habitación para pasar una noche. Anteriormente había reservado otra residencia para mi estancia en Tarifa. En retrospectiva, sin duda hubiera preferido quedarme una semana entera en este lugar. El alojamiento me pareció excelente, sin el calificativo de "por el precio".

Definitivamente recomiendo este alojamiento si estás visitando Tarifa. Si tuviera la oportunidad, definitivamente me quedaría aquí. 10/10.

Ubicación perfecta en el corazón del casco antiguo de Tarifa, adecuado tanto para la práctica de Kyte como para la vida nocturna. Kevin es el gurú del lugar, vale la pena conocerlo.

Todo estuvo genial.
House está en el centro, por lo que es perfecto para salir de noche porque la mayoría de los lugares están a poca distancia.
Las habitaciones son básicas pero tienen todo lo que necesitas y son apropiadas para el precio.
Kevin es un gran anfitrión, amable y servicial.
Conoce Tarifa muy bien por lo que también puede ser un buen guía.

Gran albergue, gente muy agradable, Kevin es el mejor anfitrión que desear y puede dar excelentes recomendaciones.
El año que viene de nuevo)

Somos un equipo con unas 10 personas y nos encanta estar aquí.
La ubicación en el casco antiguo es perfecta, cerca de muchos bares y restaurantes.
Definitivamente vendremos de nuevo:)

Kevin mola. Un instructor de kitesurf increíble y un tipo sólido. El lugar es genial por la ubicación y el costo. Las camas y los baños son buenos, no geniales, pero totalmente apropiados para el precio. La cocina compartida y las tablas de surf, etc.son una gran ventaja. Tarifa es un lugar increíble y Kevin facilitó nuestra visita.

Me alojé aquí por una semana para uno de sus campamentos de kite de Kevin. ¡El albergue es genial! Ubicación en el casco antiguo, vistas al castillo, a poca distancia de bares y restaurantes. El albergue es limpio y acogedor y las azoteas son súper bonitas.

¡Tuve una semana increíble aquí! Kevin es un gran anfitrión y fue de gran ayuda como guía local para los mejores restaurantes y kitesurf en Tarifa.

¡Lo recomendaría altamente! 10/10

Kevin es un anfitrión maravilloso y disfrutamos charlando con él. Nosotros nos sentimos bien en casa. El lugar es muy limpio y acogedor, y se nota el amor y el cuidado que se le dedica. ¡Estaremos de vuelta!

Guest house tres sympa en plein cœur de la vieille ville! Un spot idéal pour faire du kite et profiter de la ville!

This is one of the very few places in Tarifa, in Spain and probably in the whole of S Europe where sharing a house with others was pleasurable! I am so happy to have found this little gem where various nationalities share stories over breakfast - just like in the good old days! Kevin is a friendly and organised host and Oscar, the hostel volunteer is a breath of fresh air with his ability to converse with everyone. The rooms are clean, well decorated and despite being in a busy area, the new windows work a treat. Generous breakfast supplies are provided so you can help yourself at the time you want. Well equipped kitchen. Kevin also gives kite surfing lessons which I hope to try next time. I will definately be back!

Un alojamiento básico, informal, pero perfecto para Tarifa, mejor no puede estar ubicado. Tiene cocina común, hay de todo. Kevin se encarga de que no falten las cosas.
El ayudante Óscar muy simpático y dispuesto en lo que necesites.
Repetiría este alojamiento en Tarifa sin duda, es muy completo. Relación calidad -precio inmejorable.
Algo a mejorar sería la limpieza de los baños, la podrían hacer con más frecuencia. Por lo demás todo bien

Great stay in Tarifa!
The house is cozy and has a great atmosphere. It's well located close to the heart of the city with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There's also lots of parking space nearby (by the marina).

Kevin is a great host, making you feel welcome and provided lots of great knowledge about the city, surrounding areas and about the local kite spots and wind conditions.

Would definitely go here again:)

Love the look and friendly feel. Best position for the town, beach and love sitting on the terrace with a coffee and churros. Kevin is a really great host, nothing is too much trouble to find out what you need. Had my first kite lesson with him "High Flyers Tarifa" and he explains the process and makes you feel really at ease. Can't wait for the next one.

Amazing time at High Flyers Tarifa. Kevin is a fantastic host. The breakfast is lovely. The roof terrace is very special, with a great view of the castle. Highly recommended.

I spent 2 months at High Flyers, quickly beginning to call it home. Going to the daily fresh market only 2 blocks away, cooking my breakfast, and eating on the terrace with the most gorgeuous view of Castillo Del Guzman in all of Tarifa. It's the perfect distance from the center for when you need stop into the town for whatever you. There are also a few hikes and beaches within a very short walking distance. I did not have a car but with basic knowledge of the bus schedule one can get from the hostel to the kiting beach sometimes walking less than to where your car may be parked. The selection of restaurants right around the corner are superb and the kitchen outfitted with everything you may need. I cannot recommend High Flyers enough, I loved it so much I decided to stay an extra month

For Kitesurfers:
Awesome spot to wash and dry your gear on the roof.
Five minute walk from balneario to kite or watch pros.
Kevin is a fantastic intructor, He taught me how to ride upwind and three months later I'm doing Megaloops.
City bus picks you up at the circle by the port, 20 m out the door, brings you to the bus station where for two euro it'll take you down the beach. If you miss the city bus its a 10 minute walk to the bus station. I did it everyday with two kites, my board, and camera bag. It's a good warmup.
There's almost always other Kiters staying there which is a huge bonus.
If you're not sure of the wind go up to the terrace.

BEST HOSTEL BY FAR FOR KITERS LOOKING TO STAY A WHILE!

Muy acorde con el precio, la única pega que le encuentro al sitio es la plaga de hormigas, pero por lo demás todo genial. A Kevin no le vimos, pero Valentina (su compañera) es muy amable, muy agradable, simpática, y muy dispuesta a ayudar con todo. El ambiente de la casa es muy bueno con los demás huéspedes. La terraza es muy bonita. Gracias!

I’ve stayed at high flyers house many times! There are always other kiters staying there and always someone to go out with for a night out if travelling alone. The accommodation is top notch and located in a very central location in the beautiful old town. Can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait for my next visit!

I've been to the hostel for one 1 week in July with my son and my mother and it was absolutely amazing.
The owner Kevin was super friendly and more than helpful in all cases.
The atmosphere in the hostal was very familiar, it even felt like home after the first day!
The whole place and even the shared bathrooms were always as clean as possible and the cozyness and charme of the hostal with its morrocan style and lots of nice details was unique to us.
On top of the house, which is perfektly located right at the Harbour in the beautiful old Town, is a big and even very cozy rooftop terrace with a view over the impressive castle.
Kevin even offered us an electronic BBQ to use and we really enjoyed the evenings up there!
Especially to my child it a was very comfortable and adventurous stay due to the tiny cozy oriental style and the familiar atmosphere in the house.
A big plus for me as a kiteboarder was also kevs experience and the close distance to balneario ;-)
For me all in all one of the best places all over tarifa, we already miss it and definitely will be back!

Lo mejor la terraza, el dueño ni lo vimos, los colchones incómodos, dormimos en la habitación de al lado de la terraza y la última noche había gente chillando y con música hasta las 3/4 de la madrugada cuando pone que se mantenga el silencio, y nadie vino a llamarles la atención

Fantastic guesthouse. Clean, great location and Kevin the host couldn't be more helpful. The kitchen and roof deck are wonderful luxuries.

Central place to stay and Kevin, the owner, was very nice. There was a kitchen to use and a nice place on the top of the building with a nice view. It would have been very nice if there was someone when we arrived to show us around as we were kind of left alone what can be used in the kitchen or regarding laundry.

En pleno centro y con una decoración muy bonita:) Está muy bien de precio e incluye desayuno. Kevin es muy atento y, además, para cualquier tema de la casa también había esa temporada una chica muy muy simpática:) Yo os lo recomiendo 100%!

Edificio justo en pleno centro de Tarifa junto al castillo, con una terracita con encanto para poder disfrutar de las vistas. Me ha encantado el lugar. Kevin es muy servicial y te ayuda en todo. 100% recomendable.

La situación perfecta, en todo el centro, la habitación doble de la primera planta muy amplia y con mucha luz. El baño que es a compartir con dos habitaciones individuales más, también muy amplio y con mucha luz. El dueño Kevin muy atento y amable. Gran detalle los tickets del desayuno para consumir en la cafeteria /churrería de al lado. Repetiría sin duda alguna

I've had the time of my life at this place! I've been travelling for the past 9 months, and this place is by far the best place I've been yet. The atmosphere is amazing, the "boss" is great, and he always seems to upgrade the place. I'll be back to check out the Roof bar one day, and hopefully learn to kite-surf (which the "boss" also does). If you want to go to Tarifa, hang out with great people, or kite-surf, this is definitely the place for you!

Alojamiento increíble, súper bien ubicado con vistas al castillo, buen ambiente, personal muy agradable, te sientes como en casa. También puedes contratar allí mismo tu curso de kitesurf!

What a cool place this is. Kevin the owner and Valentina, his right hand, are so friendly and helpful. There's a cosy common area and kitchen to be used by everyone. Everyday there's the smell of homemade bread that Valentina makes for us (or even a cake made by Kevin), what a luxury! There's also a rooftop terrace to enjoy. The whole place is right in the center of Tarifa and a 2min walk from the harbor if you fancy a trip to Morocco (35min by ferry). Thank you Kevin and Valentina!

One of the most friendliest, cosy guest houses I have stayed in Tarifa. Great location aswell in the heart of it all but not too noisy.

I stayed there for a month and this lovely house really made me feel at home. Its location in the historic centre was great, very near to the beach, the port and other interesting places of interest. Kev, the owner, was away even so he was attentive, and Mike who ran the house was awesome.
