Llegué a High Sierras sin experiencia de vuelo desde que califiqué como CP en octubre pasado y me preguntaba si estaría fuera de mi alcance. No debería haberme preocupado. He tenido una semana memorable y mi confianza ha aumentado a pasos agigantados. La calidad de la instrucción ha sido sobresaliente: alentadora y solidaria con tareas diseñadas para satisfacer mis necesidades particulares, de modo que progresé de manera constante durante toda la semana. También encontré muy útiles los consejos dados por los otros chicos del curso. Recomiendo ampliamente el curso de desarrollo piloto a cualquiera que desee mejorar sus habilidades/conocimientos.

Proporcionan un excelente servicio de guía y recuperación en Algo, uno de los principales proveedores de Algo para visitar pilits y clubes.

Precisely the course I wanted and needed! Was a 40 something hour winter rusty pilot and this got me to some planned XC and much greater confidence in lively air. Flew every day in much more complex scenarios than I was used to. Learned lots about loads including nav apps etc. Also great company for the week, a wonderful town and good, solid accommodation. Hope to come back soon!

Superb. I can't recommend Chris highly enough. I've yet to come across a paragliding instructor/guide who does so well to find the flyable sites when the weather is hit and miss. We flew on one, if not two, days that other schools didn't fly as the main sites weren't flyable.

Chris is a optimistic, straightforward and positive coach who helped me progress at the best rate I could have really hoped for.

Together with his partner, Lin, they run the only paragliding company that I'd consider flying with in Southern Spain. Thanks to you both!

I have just completed a pilot development week with High Sierras. What a fabulous week it was too.
Chris has an enormous amount of experience and is a great teacher. I felt very comfortable flying under his guidance and learnt so much in just a short period of time, experience that would have taken so much longer to gain at my usual UK flying sites.
To fly with the resident Vultures is a privilege and a lifetime memory.

Just had a week with Chris and Jan which was great fun, and I learnt a lot. Chris is highly professional, hugely experienced and thoroughly knows the area and its weather which means pilots get maximum airtime and make the most of their trip. Highly recommend him.

I had a week with Chris in mid September. Although we missed a day due to weather, the flying was generally excellent. Chris very quickly assessed my ability and pitched the tasks so that I felt challenged but safe. His coaching style is well directed and paced, clear and not laboured. The house was comfortable and clean and the overall organisation is efficient but not regimented. Also, top marks to the vultures for the lessons in thermalling!

Spent an excellent week with Chris at High Sierras covering XC/thermal training. Had some really fantastic flying time, in no small part thanks to Chris's determination to ensure that everyone got the experience that they came for. Great knowledge of his subject and the local area, and made sure everyone went home safe and happy.

Had a fantastic week flying with Chris and kieron, their knowledge and experience was outstanding and the guiding was first class, I learnt a lot and really benefitted from having a guide actually flying with me. Will definitely be back.

Just had an amazing week with Chris at High Sierras on the CP mentoring course, decent weather, lovely location, built hours, learned loads, awesome thermals over 6k feet, hour long flights, under the professional guidance and hospitality of Chris and Lynn who are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable, wouldn't hesitate in recommending the course.

Just got back from a fab week with Chris and High Sierras PG. I was on an XC Development Course running alongside an XC Guided Week. Using his excellent local knowledge (he's been there over 20 years!) and legendary coaching style Chris was able to plan and deliver an amazing week which massively boosted my skill set and confidence. Ticked off my first XCs and a number of other firsts/PBs too. Algodonales is a great base with lots of awesome flying on the doorstep, so what are you waiting for?

Great place to fly with a great coach who's knowledge of the area is second to none, often taking the group to different flying sites where others are left parawaiting we were flying every day. Chris has played a big part in my flying progression over the years and that's why I keep coming back.

Chris was very flexible and accommodating arranging for me to join his x-ctry group for two days on short notice. Friendly atmosphere, good morning briefings, strong safety focus. Chris and his colleagues flew with us, trying to herd us as best they could and guiding us out and about. Retrieval was efficient. Great couple of days for me with a nice bunch of mostly UK pilots. Special thanks to Jan, who was good company, who guided me to good distances both days and helped me with a tricky gusty landing

Had a great time with Chris and the team at High Sierras. Really professional approach, does everything he can to get the best out of the day. Will definitely be going again.

We had an incredible week. Not only because of the wonderful weather but also thanks to the great instructors we had the pleasure to be with. Chris and Ray do a wonderful job and you can see their passion for the sport and that they always try to make you feel very comfortable during the week. I had fantastic time flying with Chris and I'm already planning when to go back. Chris's knowledge of the different sites and advice ensured that we flew when others didn't. I had heard about thermaling with vultures and got do do it several times in the week. You can almost touch them their so close. Thanks again to the to the team for making it a great xc holiday.

My third visit. Chris does his utmost to get the most out of every day. Having guides who actually know the area and fly with me make High Sierras the go to flying centre in Algodonales.

My husband and I really enjoyed the mentoring course for unexperienced pilots offered by Chris, who together with his colleague Ray were always kind and patient to us. We learned a lot from them, collected good airtime and now we just want to go fly again:) Thank you, guys!

Chris has a well grounded attitude towards paragliding (ha!) being enthusiastic at the same time: you feel he's the right man for the job and enjoys what he does: that rubs off on you. Had some good times with Chris, Lynn and Biffo, makes us want to come back.

Great week with Chris Ray and Lynn. XC instruction on another level. New house in Algo superb. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending and going again.
