Horse Riding El Chorro

Me lo regaló mi marido por mi cumpleaños y fue una experiencia increíble. Recomendable 100%. Los caballos son preciosos y muy mansos. La ruta espectacular y Mark la hace muy entretenida. Te transmite su amor por la naturaleza y los animales. Muchas gracias por todo! Sin duda repetiremos.

Una maravillosa aventura para mí y mi hija (6 años) recorriendo los estrechos senderos del hermoso paisaje de El Chorro. Sin embargo, traducir las historias de Marc para mi hija mientras intentaba guiar a mi caballo fue un poco desafiante. Considerándolo todo, sigue siendo una gran experiencia.

Una experiencia para vivir una y otra vez, Marc es un encanto. Recomiendo que si vais a visitar la zona no dudéis en contactar con el y hacer la ruta a caballo que ofrece.

¡Qué experiencia tan genial y única! Llevé a mi esposa a montar a caballo en El Chorro para su cumpleaños y ambos la pasamos de maravilla. El terreno montañoso no es el terreno habitual para montar a caballo, y fue increíble ver a los caballos avanzar con calma y confianza subiendo y bajando por senderos empinados y estrechos, a menudo compuestos de terreno suelto y rocoso. Criaturas muy especiales. ¡Gracias de nuevo, Marc, por una gran mañana!

Hemos pasado un rato súper agradable. El guía encantador y el paseo súper relajante. Mi Capitan se ha portado como un campeón! Era la segunda vez que teníamos este tipo de experiencia y sin duda ha sido maravillosa, las vistas espectaculares y todas hemos disfrutado muchísimo! Repetiremos sin duda!

¡Genial para niños! ¡Una forma divertida de interrumpir el viaje de Ronda a Granada! ¡Llevamos a nuestros hijos de 5 y 6 años que anunciaron que era la MEJOR parte de nuestro viaje de 10 días a España! Era la primera vez que montaban a caballo solos, así que al principio estaba un poco nervioso, pero los caballos estaban tranquilos y eran geniales con los niños. Marc fue completamente flexible en cuanto al tiempo y se ofreció a hacer un circuito de 2 o 3 horas dependiendo de cómo les iba a los niños. (¡Terminamos haciendo 3 horas y los niños querían más!) También el amable Marc tomó fotografías, así que tuve un bienvenido descanso de la tarea de cámara. Terreno interesante y variado a lo largo del circuito. ¡Gracias Marc por un maravilloso recuerdo familiar!

Como principiante que tenía curiosidad por probar a montar a caballo, sólo puedo elogiarlo.

El recorrido, que duró aproximadamente 3 horas, estuvo lleno de paisajes impresionantes y datos interesantes sobre la región.

Marc fue perfecto como guía y se tomó el tiempo de explicar todo y charlar y bromear sobre todo durante el viaje.

¡Muy recomendable si estás en la zona!

Más de una hora en coche desde Torremolinos en medio de la nada, bonita ruta turística de montaña, está prácticamente al lado del Caminito del Ray

Mi esposa tiene miedo a las alturas y tiene miedo a las alturas, pero en general lo experimentó como divertido.

Yo nunca había montado a caballo, pero después de una breve explicación todo salió bien, los caballos conducen casi automáticamente.

Los caballos son extremadamente mansos y pueden caminar fácilmente sobre cualquier cosa, incluso si es un poco más empinada o estrecha. El propietario toma muchas fotos y videos hermosos.

Si amas los caballos, debes haber hecho esto alguna vez.

Fui a hacer una caminata de 2 horas con Marc y no podría haber tenido una mejor experiencia. Galopamos libremente por el terreno montañoso y recibimos una detallada lección de historia sobre los alrededores. ¡Los caballos eran hermosos y llenos de energía! Lo recomiendo 100% y me encantaría volver otra vez.

It’s hard to believe that this place is so close to the UK to get to, but feels like you have been transported into another world. Seeing the mountains from the top with Marc was an experience that certainly cannot be replicated easily. We went for a two day trek and whilst myself and my friend are very experienced riders, I can safely say that we have never done as extreme terrain riding which challenged us to the max as we did here. The horses were incredible and so sure footed - we had complete trust in our horses to get us home safely which is a tall order considering the landscape. A beautiful area, incredible horses and an unforgettable experience.

My friend and I booked two days of riding with Marc during our stay in Andalusia and it was an experience I will never forget. I’ve ridden all my life and never experienced anything like it before. The horses were perfectly well behaved and you had complete trust in them. The views at the top of the mountain were like none I’ve ever seen before.

Me and my girlfriend went with Marc on one of the trails recently. I have no experience with horses and my girlfriend had not ridden for a long time. This didn’t stop the experience from being really enjoyable and we were even able to gallop on the horses which goes to show how well trained they are. The trail itself was stunning and whilst on the ride Marc gave us an in depth tour of the local wildlife and history (I don’t believe you would get that level of detail with other guides). To top this of he took good quality pictures and videos of us so that we didn’t need to.

Súper contenta con la experiencia. Nos sentimos muy cómodos. Marc es muy atento y nos explicó todo lo que debíamos hacer. Los caballos muy nobles. La ruta es muy bonita. Nos hizo muchísimas fotos, de muy buena calidad. Una experiencia inolvidable.

Una gran experiencia, maravillosas vistas, paisajes increibles, Mark el guia fenomenal, te explica las cosas del lugar, muy amable, sus caballos son fabulosos, tengo poca practica en ellos pero el te explica anteriormente lo basico de montar. Mi hija y yo pasamos un paseo increible. 100% recomendable.

Un lugar maravilloso. Hemos venido a pasar las vacaciones en álora y buscamos que hacer, y una de las actividades que se nos recomendó fue "horse riding el chorro" y realmente, lo recomiendo, en pocas palabras ESPECTACULAR.
El guía es magnífico, caballos preciosos, y vistas inigualables.
Si os encanta la tranquilidad, la naturaleza y el contacto con los animales, es vuestro lugar.

Had an absolutely amazing 3 hour evening ride with my 2 children aged 14 & 13. They had no previous riding experience and Marc made them feel very at ease and they confidently learnt to ride and go up and down the various trails. We really enjoyed learning about the area from Marc and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the kids haven't stopped talking about the ride since. A great experience all round!

I would give it more stars if possible, a must do for horse lovers! I visited here last week with my boyfriend and his niece, they are both Spanish and me and him were on holidays visiting his family in Malaga. Marc was very nice and spoke in both Spanish and English, so I would understand everything. I was experienced in horse riding, but it had been years since I had done it. My boyfriend and his niece were complete beginners. We took the 2 hour trail and it was all around amazing. I only regret not doing a longer trail. It was completely beautiful and the horses were just wonderful. They bring you up the side of a mountain and the views are absolutely amazing. We even got to do a little bit of a canter once or twice. Marc was a really great guy and he even gave us little bits of history of the surroundings, he also took many photos and some videos and send them to us after for free, which I couldn't believe because the trekking was so cheap! When we were finished the hack we got to sit and chat with Marc and Ali for a little while. They are both wonderful people. This was the most magical experience and has completely restored my passion for horses. Thank you guys so much for this experience, I will definitely be coming back here the next time I visit Malaga.:) So just book it already don't give it a second thought, you one hundred percent will not regret it!

I chose to ride with my 7 years old daughter at El Chorro after reading the great reviews. The experience was just amazing. We are both fairly unexperienced with horses and Marc insured we were confident and confortable throughout. He adjusted the pace to our level and picked it up towards the end when it was safe to do so. How exciting! The views where incredible, Marc described the surroundings as we went along and told us about the history of the region. You have to see those views! Even the drive from Malaga was exciting and beautiful. All along, Marc would take pictures and vidéos of us so we didn't need to bother with our own phones. The next day he sent me a link to download dozens of pics and videos. What a great experience. Just WOW! Thank you Marc!

Habitué du lieu que je connais assez bien pour l'escalade, ce fut un grand plaisir de re-découvrir l'endroit à cheval, marc est super sympa et intéressant tout du long. Je conseil vivement nous avons passés un super moment. Fred et Marlena

Una experiencia muy buena y diferente, interesante ya que a base que íbamos por la ruta tan bonita, tambien cuentan su historia y es muy interesante, los caballos muy bien cuidados y de mucho cuidado! Muy amables! Volveremos a repetir, pero ahora ppr la rita mas larga, ya que las horas pasan volando. Una maravilla, merece la pena! Y gracias a Marc por esta experiencia y Ali por su amabilidad!

El fin de semana pasado reservé un paseo a caballo para darle una sorpresa de cumpleaños a una amiga, todo un acierto! Una experiencia maravillosa, sobretodo para ella que era la primera vez que montaba a caballo. Marc lo hizo muy divertido y ameno y sobretodo nos sentimos seguras en todo momento. El entorno de ensueño, nos llevó por una zona preciosa, con unas vistas espectaculares. Sin duda estamos deseando repetir, totalmente recomendable!

Increíble! Fuimos a celebrar nuestro aniversario y el paseo fue espectacular las dos horas mas cortas de nuestra vida.

Super expérience avec Marcos et ses chevaux. Nous avons fait une balade de 2h30 en couple. Je suis débutante, les chevaux étaient très gentils et faciles à monter. Les paysages magnifiques. Marcos et sa femme super sympas. Marcos a pris des photos pendant toute la ballade pour nous les envoyer après. Je recommande vivement!

Superbe lieux pour faire une balade a cheval dans les montagnes et loin de l’agitation urbaine. Marc est un grand fan de la nature et un superbe cavalier! J’ai passé 2 h dans la nature en oubliant tout le reste. Mes yeux en ont pris plein la vue avec un tel paysage! Merci Marc.on se revoit comme promis pour un galop! Fadoua

If you're doing a roadtrip through Andalusia, I strongly recommend you pass through El Chorro. The scenery is breath taking. While there you absolutely must go horsebackriding! Most people go there for the caminito del rey but going out riding with Alisson and Mark is a unique experience (the views, the adventure and warm hospitality of Alisson and Mark). If you don't you're definitely missing out! Enjoy the ride.

Really enjoyable ride. Mark and Ali were very friendly and helpful. They managed to fit us in during the very busy Easter weekend. Mark seems to take the majority of the rides certainly if you are looking for some more extreme riding. You are not put as part of a group, the rides are customised to your experience. The two of us went on a more beginners ride with Ali and Mark took two others are an exprienced riders ride at the same time. The horses were extremely well behaved and controlable - quite different than what you often get at a trekking centre. Both Ali and Mark are very knowledgable about the area and make the ride even more interesting.

Fantastic morning with Marc! Our two hour trek allowed me to experience a whole new type of riding. A complete mixture of breathtaking views and forest trails. I can not wait to come back again!

A memory of a lifetime! Exhilerating, breathtaking, enjoyable, relaxing all in a 2 hour ride. A ride with Marc is a custom made experience determined by you, the rider. It's everything I was hoping more and so much more! The freedom to ride at your own pace (FAST, slow, anything in between) is possible because your ride is private for you/your own group. I hadn't ridden in a while, and I have limited riding experience, but Marc gave me some pointers and put me at ease. His horses are excellently trained & conditioned which contributed to making my ride so special. I can't imagine anything close to this this in the States and am so happy that I chose El Chorro. Ma fille de 15 ans a fait une journée de balade avec Marc et Ferrari, un de ses magnifiques chevaux, qui sait si bien gérer son allure en fonction de son cavalier. Une expérience inoubliable pour ma fille qui souhaitait depuis longtemps faire une journée de rando, elle a pu grimper, prendre des petits chemins, faire des grands galops. Merci énormément à Marc qui l'a accompagné dans cette randonnée et dans son utilisation de l'anglais!

Incroyable expérience! De superbes chevaux choyés par des propriétaires adorables dans un environnement très beau. Mark est un super guide, plein d'histoires et d'humour, nous recommandons ses balades à la fois pour les humains, les chevaux et le paysage magnifique!

Excellent folks and superb views, I had essentially no previous experience and felt comfortable galloping by the end of our little trip. A little gem that hasn’t been taken over by commercial tourism!

We went with our 2 daughters (7 and 9), they ride every week but never in the outside, I sat on a horse once before. Needless to say there was some tension before arriving. We were really set at ease in a super friendly warm and welcoming horse-chill. No rush, everything just sets in place and you are off to the most stunning views! The horses are just amasing adapting to the rider and you can trust them a 1000%. I wanted to take mine back in the trunk:). I will go back, defenitely!

Marc and his family of horses will take care of everything. The horses are a joy, well looked after, safe and fun.
We did a 2hour trek with Marc, the horses were perfect, the scenery was perfect, so much to see Marc was perfectly charming, told us so much about the area, a fantastic guide and host.
