Jacks American Brasserie

Como solo suelen contestar a las reseñas buenas en este establecimiento, lo voy a valorar del tirón para no dejarme ningún "as" en la manga.
Nos tomaron por guiris. 3,30€ por una cocacola. 5,50€ por una "pinta" de cerveza. 10€ por una ensalada cesar "clásica" que, básicamente, era ni un cuarto de lechuga iceberg con una tosta se pan de ayer resecada al horno y salsa de procedencia seguramente industrial enriquecida con granapadano en polvos. (con un lambrusco fresquito, la cena ideal para sorprender a tu pareja). Encima me preguntan si queríamos anchoas, cuando la anchoa la lleva la salsa cesar, la original… "Sin anchoas, por favor…" Y, por fin, la carnuza… 26€ por un filete de carne con patatas congeladas y dos champiñones salteados. En la carta decía que la carne venía en tiras y que pesaba 300 gramos, pero cuando vimos el trozo de carne que nos habían puesto, pensamos que se habían equivocado, no venía troceado y el tamaño era muy reducido. Hablamos con el "encargado", o "manager" como nos comento una compañera, y le comentamos que el filete nos parecía que no era el peso que ponía en la carta. Nos pregunto el punto al que habíamos pedido la carne, suponiendo que la habíamos pedido hecha porque así había una excusa para el tamaño de un filete, pero cuando le comenté que lo habíamos pedido al punto, su reacción fue decir que las carnes están pesadas y con el restaurante lleno supongo que tenia prisa, pero no lo volvimos a ver en toda la noche. A quien si vimos más veces fue a una simpática camarera, muy atenta, que nos preguntó por cómo iba todo… le comentamos un poco, pero ella tampoco tiene culpa… luego ella se lo comentaría a los "managers" y ya la pusioñeron para que nos cobrara y todo.
Total… si sois de por aquí y no queréis que os tomen por sopa, id a otro lado que está zona está dedicada al turismo.
La foto son 300 gramos de ternera sin sabor, patatas fritas congeladas y un chimichurri para darle algo de alegría.

Increíble lugar para comer, pero no para aquellos con un presupuesto de vacaciones ajustado, ya que muchos de los elementos del menú pueden ser bastante caros. Lo mejor es reservar una mesa por teléfono ya que después de las 6 es difícil conseguir una mesa. Recomiendo encarecidamente el plato para compartir que tenía alitas de pollo, mini hamburguesas de puerco desmenuzado, brochetas de pollo, croquetas y gambas fritas rebozadas. Esto en sí mismo nos llenó ya que las porciones eran muy generosas. Terminamos llevándonos la mitad de nuestros platos principales a casa, que muy amablemente nos envolvieron y pusieron en una bolsa. Los asientos al aire libre tenían una hermosa vista del puerto de Banalmádena.

Nice restaurant with good food and service. Staff were excellent with the exception of one guy (waiter) who was absolutely awful. He was the one blemish on what a very pleasant experience overall.

What a gem this place was. Food was beautiful, cocktails were the best we had, view was amazing and the waitress could not have been more welcoming and helpful

Probably the best restaurant in this area. Friendly service, great food and cocktails. Only criticism would be size of portions can be excessive and some like the hot dogs could be shared between two. Make sure you book if the weather’s a bit iffy

Buena comida, aunque pedimos platos para compartir y trajeron todos a la vez. Los precios no están del todo mal teniendo en cuenta la media de la zona. Camareros jóvenes, algunos con algo más de carisma que otros. No es una mala opción si estás por la zona.

Food was excellent, but a little more on the pricy side. This is however to be expected in the Marina. Would definitely recommend overall.

Very nice place with interesting mixture of various cuisine. We have ordered there a cheeseburger with Angus beef, teriyaki chicken with broccolini und creole cod fish with grill vegetables. The food was very tasty and aromatic. The portered nit so big but completely enough to feel nice full. The only thing was that there were only 2 small pieces of broccolini for teriyaki chicken. I felt like having more of them. The place itself has very nice location on the 1 floor with the view on the marina. You can find there a comfortable place for lunch, dinner or to grab a cocktail in the night.

I’m a very big fan of this place, the host was so friendly and kind and so helpful to sit us down! But from then on it was a disaster, 25 minutes before our order was even took I had to ask for it to be taken and then the drinks finally came.
Starters were perfect so nice and tasty, but the table wasn’t cleared then for 15 minutes after we finished. The waitresses were sniggering about things when I pointed them out. I kept my mouth shut and still hadn’t complained by this stage until the mains came. My partners burger was freezing cold, so we sent this back. I got fajitas and asked for some grated cheese.this came out in a bowl and it was frozen.
I sent that back also and was told that’s all they have that was fine I said it’s ok I’ll do without. Then the burger came back and once cut was completely red not a bit cooked inside.
I then made it clear to the man who told me he was the manager that we were fed up and wanted to go to cancel the burger, which he did.
The bill then came without the burger as it shouldn’t have been on this wasn’t a good gesture as it was sent back but also the frozen cheese still added on.
The experience was just shocking and the management skills were horrendous. Marbellas venue wouldn’t ever treat us this way and as a regular we are shocked to have been.

Arrived early and were given a choice of tables. Eventually menus were brought only after a table was sat next to us. After 20 mins of no service we left. Not even a drinks order taken yet a table sat after us had full order taken. Unable to locate staff until we decided to leave.

Excellent burgers, I had a black and blue. The burgers are cooked to medium so if you're put off by pink then tell them when you order. This place can get busy.

Lo único que merece la pena son las hamburguesas. Y quizás alguna ensalada. Hemos pedido un filete, poco hecho y nos han traído algo como una suela de zapato y aparte ridículamente pequeño. Los camareros apenas español. Olvídate de decirles al punto más bajo. Menos, se te quedan mirando como si fueras de otro planeta. Y eso que es un Steakhouse justamente.
No volvemos ni en pintura.

Had an excellent meal at Jacks, sharing Combo starter was amazing followed by Steak and Ribs cooked to perfection.

La comida estaba muy rica y el precio, no es barato pero para la zona en donde se encuentra esta bastante bien. Yo diría que de promedio son 15€ por persona. La camarera de la trenza larga era majísima y nos ayudó a la hora de escoger los platos, sin embargo su compañero no era nada agradable.

Espectacular ambiente, en un sitio precioso y con un trato maravilloso. Nos atendió Carolina y fue de lo más agradable que nos encontramos en nuestra estancia en Benalmadena.

Very friendly service, spoke English very well, we had the nachos with pulled beef and cheese, smoked ribbs, fries, and burger, and they were all very nice, especially the bbq sauce on the ribbs and for the fries.

Estuvimos hace una semana y me encanto si te todo las vistas a la dársena nos pusieron una sombrilla y la carne estupenda y todo estaba rico precios un poco caro pero es que se paga la zona donde está si tengo que poner un pero tardaron un poco en traer la carne

Service was good, food was tasty and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Cocktails were delicious.

This place is a shame. I was there yesterday for a new year's eve menu (75 eur, drinks not included) and half of the food was not even edible and the rest was low quality or just overcooked. Service is an absolute disaster and they either take 30 minutes between dishes or push you with 2 at almost the same time. Avoid at all costs.

El "Classic Combo" y el "Hummus" fantásticos. Buena atención por parte del personal, Halima es muy simpática y agradable. Para repetir.

Really great restaurant, over looking the marina of Benalmadena. The views are amazing the restaurant is situated slightly higher than the marina walkway which gives excellent views the terrace is amazing fantastic service the waiters are really fast and really welcoming.

The food is always amazing at Jack’s and the one in Benalmadena is no difference great food served fast always hot very tasty.

Tasty. Shared Nachos for starter followed by a smoker burger. Lovely. No room for dessert. Very reasonably priced. Always visit when on holidays in Benalmádena.

Great view if you like to people/boat watch. Food was a tad disappointing my ribs were cold had to send them back. Customer service was great and made up for food having to be sent back.

Very filling food. Fairly narrow range of choices but if you like burgers, hot dogs or pizza Jack's is perfect! Friendly and attentive staff and seats available inside or outside. Little bit expensive but this is typical of the marina.

Great staff with well designed interior and presentation in logo and menu design. Food was great and well made. The nachos were amazing.

Comida impresionante la carne echa a fuego lento, postres buenos.de precio lo normal para un sitio así. Buena terraza y vistas. Solo pongo 4 estrellas por el servicio de 4 platos se equivocó en 3 platos y no nos dejaban hacer cambio de ingrediente en la ensalada pero si podías añadir claro está bajo coste. Por lo demás ok todo.

Worst service I have ever see, got our starter and waited 30 minutes to have burnt chicken strips brought out, cancelled our meal and was told they had a new guy. Will never be back again. Had to give one star to register review unfortunately.

This restaurant is the best restaurant in the marina area and the surrounding Torremolinos area the pulled pork bbq burger is AMAZING I have never had a burger or food for that matter better then this restaurant the staff were very welcoming and really nice would highly recommended this restaurant
