¡Absolutamente delicioso! Germen escondido que estuvimos buscando durante todas las vacaciones. Lo más destacado de nuestra estancia. Definitivamente deberías intentarlo. Maravillosas tapas inusuales, comidas grandes y platos pequeños (tapas más grandes). ¡Disfrutar!

Tapas baratas y deliciosas con una mezcla de platos españoles e internacionales. Un concepto único que no he encontrado en ningún otro lugar.

Actualización de mi revisión anterior de 2021. Sigue siendo mi restaurante favorito en La Cala. Se ha convertido en una broma corriente en casa que iremos allí cuando no podamos molestarnos en cocinar.

El mejor restaurante de tapas de La Cala. Ubicado en Torrenueva, este café es muy popular entre los expatriados y sirve más de 50 tapas (que oscilan entre 2,50 y 3,50 €) junto con algunos platos principales.

Excelentes opciones para los amantes de las verduras, los mariscos y los carnívoros, y el personal también es muy amable. Nos gustó tanto que comimos aquí varias veces.

Mi amigo pidió tapas y estuvo bien. Como plato principal pidió wrap de pollo, pero solo dentro de verduras y 4 trozos pequeños de pollo. Pedí costillas como plato principal. Nunca más. Estaba crudo por primera vez y no pude cortarlo con un cuchillo. Después de llevarlo a la cocina fue similar y simplemente me dijeron que puedo recuperar mi dinero. Eso es todo y ninguna disculpa. ¿Va demasiado bien? Espero que los competidores de al lado sean mejores.

A los muy poco profesionales les gusta criticar a otras empresas por el mal servicio y la comida no era buena.

Comida casera de gran sabor. Buen servicio y gran valor. Solo ten en cuenta que no aceptan tarjetas, solo efectivo.

Had a great night, tapas were amazing, 6 diners & all of us loved what we had, excellent value too as most of the dishes are more 'racion' than tapas, especially the "surf & turf', melt in the mouth, as was the haggis spring roll with the most delicious whiskey sauce.the red was an excellent Camina Roble, super efficient, friendly staff too.i would highly recommend here

Este es el claro ejemplo del desastre que puede ocurrir cuando un inglés pone un bar de tapas españolas. Estuvimos demasiado tiempo esperando para comer, ya que han sido demasiado extensos en la carta, demasiada variedad para una cocina tan pequeña. Una mesa estuvo esperando 40 min o más para unas ostras que resultaron no estar en buenas condiciones. Nada más entrar al bar se sabe que ahí no es un sitio para pedir marisco. Camareras simpáticas pero con mucha carga de trabajo y cometiendo fallos constantemente. Primera y última vez que voy. Deberían cambiar muchas cosas de este restaurante si no quieren perder clientela.

Our go to place for a diverse mix of tapas. Great good, service & price. The lobster Thermidor is fantastic and great value at 30 euros. Dog friendly too which is a huge plus.

Loved it, a little tapas place off the back streets, I loved the fact that the tapas had your usual tapas foods then there were others with twists, I loved the haggis spring roll, the portion sizes were good my husband loved his cornbeef hash tapas. 100% recomed a visit there and I would say the prices are very cheap in relation to the portion sizes.

Great tapas menu and very reasonable price. Each one cost around 3 to 4 €. Amazing amount to choose from. Nice size of dishes. 4 or 5 dishes each is plenty. From spicy Spanish to mini Brit and German choices. Something for everyone.

Maybe it was an off day but very disappointing.
We booked for 7.30 pm as our experience is that later at night standards decline.
Several of the dishes we wanted to order where not available.
As there where 4 of us I didn't realise until we had finished that one dish I ordered had not been served. When I pointed this out to the waitress she insisted she had served it. It was only when my friends insisted the dish had not been served did she go to check. A few minutes later she returned to say I've taken it off your bill, but there was know apology.
The rest of the food was nothing special and it appears they use the same batter for all the deep fried dishes.not a good idea.
I have lived in the area for 25 years but unfortunately this will not be on my places to have a regular night out.

Excellent food. Tapas and mains. Very reasonably priced but surprisingly does NOT stock ginger ale mixers.

We were 2 persons, ordered a beer to start with and 6 tapas, a bottle of red and some water. Dessert death by chocolate and 2 Americans. 50,50 euros. Very good food at a very reasonable price. There is an ATM right in front of the supermarket as gambas only accept cash

Great find Tapas is the best I ever had and start from 2.50. Prawn Pil Pil is to die for and best to book in the evening's. 6 of us had drinks and loads of of Tapas for 140 euros. Great value and staff brilliant

Best Tapas winner on the Costa Del Sol before Covid and La Gamba just gets better anf better. Lovely staff to boot. Make sure you book as get very busy. Once you have been once I guarantee you will be back. Very reasonable and excellent quality!

Been coming to this part of the coast since the mid 80's. Had Tapas in many different places and have to say this is the best place we've ever had Tapas, absolutely fantastic. A must try for anyone who enjoys this type of food, you will not be disappointed.

Great serving staff. We only has a "main" of Rib Eye which was cooked to perfection and served with a lovely salad and fries. Food was fantastic and would highly recommend you try. Very shirt walk to the beach and lots of parking so you have no excuse not to try this Great food and fantastic prices

Excellent traditional tapas with a few dishes with a British slant for those less adventurous. It is far too cheap considering the quality of food.

Great food, great staff and great prices! A must go for anyone visiting the area, and a true gem! We love this restraint as the food is the BEST tapas we have found in the Calahonda area, and we just can’t stop going back. The owner is lovely, the waitresses are extremely friendly, and we just LOVE the laidback playlist of classic party tunes!

TIP:
Go as a group so that you can try the entire menu! And ensure that you order the Pedron peppers and Asparagus as they are great things to eat as any larger dishes are being made, and come in large quantities (Peppers-approx. 10, Asparagus-approx. 4).

Vine con mi pareja solo para probar, no me esperaba que fuera tan bueno. Un menú de propias tapas españolas desde 3€, cuando han servido me impresionó la presentación y el sabor. Es un lugar que nadie se puede perder si quiere comer bien.
