Lynsey y su esposo hicieron que nuestras vacaciones fueran tan especiales. Tuvimos una cena maravillosa en nuestra villa y tomamos una clase de cocina de paella que fue muy divertida. ¡Gracias Lynsey!

Nos divertimos mucho cocinando la paella, Lynsey fue maravillosa y estamos emocionados de comenzar a cocinar nuestra propia paella en casa a partir de lo que hemos aprendido. ¡Volveremos para la experiencia de hacer pan la próxima vez! ¡La casa y el área son tan hermosas! Amazing experience on a hen do with Lynsey and team. She supplied outdoor cooking paella and salads for 21 of us. Fab food, super friendly and really responsive and helpful to organise this with. Would recommend their catering to anyone!

The drive to Rosilla’s is absolutely spectacular! If you have any difficulty finding your destination Lyndsey is very responsive if needed.
We were warmly greeted by the hostess upon arrival, with mimosas and a lovely biscuit. We were informed about the history of the region and the local produce in which we were going to make our Paella! We were hands on preparing the fresh ingredients and cooking the meal while being served sherry! We were seated at a lovely table and served an assortment of local cuisine overlooking the fabulous scenery until the main dish was served, which was absolutely divine! I would highly recommend La Rosilla!

This year, after 4 years of not travelling and it being a "notable" anniversary for us, we thought we should do something particularly special.   We decided that 5 days of exploring the hills near Malaga while staying at La Rosilla would be perfect.   And we were not wrong!   For 5 days, we were spoiled and indulged by our hosts Lynsey and Alan whose warm welcome made us feel at home, as did their furry members of the family, Fannie and Ajo Blanco.   It is hard to decide what made our time the most special - the delightful company of our charming and humorous hosts, the personally guided walking, the unique and varied landscape, learning about the culture and history of the area, the delicious food and wine, or the lovely villa in an idyllic setting.

Every day we walked in new and different picturesque environments.   We experienced some truly unique landscapes, while learning about local culture and history and indulging in local foods.   Twice we saw ibex and even wild boar.   The local food at the taverns Lynsey chose was always delicious and representative of the area.   Lynsey and Alan's knowledge of the area and local customs gave us more than a glimpse into Spanish life in their part of Spain.

Our time at the villa itself was equally fabulous.   We enjoyed scrumptious breakfasts before we left each day.   And in the evenings, we enjoyed the company of  Lynsey and Alan, listening to some Spanish music, indulging in new wines and flavours and on a few occasions, helping cook some Spanish delights, like meatballs in almond sauce, stuffed piquillo peppers, and of course, paella!   Our accommodations were perfect.   We loved all the little touches, like luxurious bedding, fluffy bathrobes, homemade olive oil soap, and all charmingly decorated with a Spanish flare.   And so many other personal touches, but we will leave that for the next guests to discover.   We cannot say enough about our time at La Rosilla, except that we hope it is not too long before we return!   Thank you Lynsey, Alan, Ajo Blanco and Fannie for making our time so memorable!

Incredible experience. Lynsey & Alan are very friendly and wonderful hosts and instructors! Our group of 6 made a delicious Paella from scratch. The appetizers, desserts, and drinks were a great complement to the meal. The beautiful scenery is a true highlight. Highly recommend La Rosilla. Alan’s golf knowledge was a great help.

Our experience at La Rosilla was everything that we could have wanted and more. We did the tapas and sherry class and had so much fun! The dishes were delicious, the views impeccable, and the people behind La Rosilla are beautiful inside and out. Would totally come back again.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Sayalonga for family and friends, where I had booked La Rosilla to come and cook lunch and dinner.
For lunch they came and made a wonderful Paella by our pool and for dinner we first had tapas and then a barbecue buffet. The food tasted fantastic and was served incredibly well.

From the start, La Rosilla took control of everything about the food, from cooking to serving it and packing away what we didn't eat so we had it for the next day.

In addition to the food looking and tasting fantastic, they had a service I had not expected. They were all so incredibly nice and welcoming and before they left us (very tired) they washed our floor in the kitchen and cleaned up everything in our kitchen.

I can highly recommend hiring La Rosilla as catering if you have a party. Should I ever again need catering in Spain I will definitely use them again, without a doubt! Their warm personality means that me and my boyfriend intend to visit them for a few pleasant days, with the food in mind.

Thank you La Rosilla for making my 40th birthday a very special day. I am very grateful for that.

Lynsey was awesome! From appetizers to main course to dessert, it was all delicious. I had a wedding destination in May 2022. Lynsey was great to communicate and plan with. I wanted like a show and tell of the paella for my guests and she and her husband did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier that I found her and was able to book her for my wedding! And she was so kind and lovely with my guests, especially one particular one, my mom LOL!

We had an amazing experience with La Rosilla. The food was amazing, there was variety and enough for everyone. Watching the being cooked was amazing. Kitchen was left spotless, the people so friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Outstanding food prepared in our villa for 18 people. The highlight for me was a huge paella cooked from scratch on the patio. The many tapas dishes were also excellent. They turned up on time and the three put an excellent spread together. They also left the kitchen clean and tidy at the end. Couldn't fault them in any way.

The food was delicious and presented beautifully and the options were extensive, catering really well for vegetarians (of which there were a few in our group).
Lynsey was super professional, communicative, (replying straight away to e mails) and very accommodating.

Lynsey and the team at La Rosilla made our wedding truly perfect. Due to travel restrictions we weren't able to have a tasting ahead of the big day but Lynsey's organisation and attention to detail gave us all the confidence we needed.

Unforgettable experience in a gorgeous location with a wonderful host/teacher. Lynsey opened up her home to my fiancee and I for an afternoon of tappas, paella and wine that truly made our trip to Malaga. We felt like one of the family when Lynsey picked us up at the bus stop near her home and drove us to the Casa La Rosilla. The ingredients and instruction she provided were perfect. The food she coached us in preparing was authentic and delicious. The view from the mountains and the tranquility of the area was addicting. Lynsey's beautiful home was a perfect backdrop for this amazing culinary experience. And to top it all off, she drove us to the local hotel afterwards and personally arranged for the owner to take us back to Malaga!
Truly a first class experience that provided an indelible memory for my fiancee and I. Thank you so much!

We found out about La Rosilla from a Spanish foodie blog we've been following, Spanish Sabores. They highly recommended Lynsey and her cooking experience. We drove out into the beautiful Andalusian countryside, to her home. The views were incredible and we were warmly welcomed with homemade cookies and drinks. Lynsey was absolutely incredible with our kids. You can tell she loves people! Our kids, ages 9,7, and 7, were all involved in the cooking process. We love food and how it relates to local culture, and we especially love being able to cook in someone's home. The recipes have been passed along to us, and we can't wait to recreate them at home. This is an absolutely wonderful cooking class!

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and taken many cooking classes, this class is one of the best classes we've taken.

Lysney is a wonderful teacher. On top of taking the time to explain every step of the process, Lynsey also describes the background of the food and how it fits into the local culture giving an extremely well-rounded experience.

It's impossible to recommend this class too much.
