LA VIEW Restaurant Lounge Bar

Entorno único con una hermosa “vista” y cocina abierta…….los platos son excelentes…….este joven equipo merece todos los éxitos………….mi consejo= sigan con el buen trabajo pero con música menos altaespero que lo hagan supe que el joven propietario tuvo que mantenerse alejado de los botones de audio porque en 250622 parecía más bien una discoteca durante la cena, lo que no puede ser la intención de un restaurante de primer nivel.

Restaurante muy acogedor cuando estás sentado afuera. Buena carta de vinos. La comida está ligeramente por encima de la media con una excelente selección de vinos para acompañarla. El servicio es lento, a pesar de tener pocos clientes. Pediría platos fáciles de cocinar y pronto lo intentaría de nuevo.

El restaurante tiene una ubicación céntrica y es fácil de encontrar. El bistec estaba bueno. Los camareros son atentos y educados. Vendrá de nuevo.

Place virtually empty and yet the service was very poor. Unable to get the food out all at the same. A party of nine served in dribs and drabs. Really not good for a supposed restaurant of quality.

Lugar prácticamente vacío y, sin embargo, el servicio fue muy pobre. No se puede sacar la comida al mismo tiempo. Un grupo de nueve sirvió a cuentagotas. Realmente no es bueno para un supuesto restaurante de calidad.

6 of us dined here this evening, extremely slow drinks, whereby the party had to go to the bar to chase.

Appetites (bread and pate) arrived with the starters.

With the main course the waiters delivered the dishes as and when was ready, meaning one person had finished their food before the last party members food arrived. On top of this the side dishes, too came as and when was ready. With the nature of the menu - sides which have to be ordered to accompany the dishes (as for example cod, comes as just cod), came as and when the chef could be bothered. One fish was sent back due to it being undercooked and another's too (beef cheeks) for being cold.

In fairness to the manageress, she apologised for two main courses being under par and refunded as well as giving a free round of drinks. But still for a £400 bill, the whole evening was well under par!

New recruiters certainly need to be appointed to help with service. Such a shame as a resident of los Arqueros - will certainly find it hard to return.

We had a fantastic meal here, food was superb and the service to match! Beautiful setting, will definitely return and recommend to others!

We ate here on our first night and just ate here again on our last nights holiday. The food and service was out of this world!

Tuvimos una comida fantástica aquí, la comida era excelente y el servicio estuvo a la altura. Hermoso entorno, definitivamente regresaré y lo recomendaré a otros.

Comida fantástica, una maravillosa sopa de langosta, etc. + realmente lo recomiendo.
Con una maravillosa vista sobre el mar Mediterráneo.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. The staff were first class couldn’t have made it feel anymore special. Food was great though my black cod small portion compared to our other dishes. The view as you may expect is beautiful. Fairly expensive but def upper class dining & lovely to have onsite at Los Arqueros.

New fine dining at the clubhouse, live music was a surprise, we were moved away when we asked to be. Food fancy portions large. Menu choice very varied.

We wanted something a bit different and a bit special for our anniversary and we couldn't have done better. We booked on the fork so it was easy to let the restaurant know we were celebrating and request a nice table out on the terrace. The view is fantastic as you might expect from a restaurant called La View!
From the moment we arrived the hostess (Elena, if I remember correctly!) was absolutely superb. She made us feel very welcome and was later very attentive as we looked through the wine and food menus. The waiters were all equally pleasant and helpful. None of the surliness you often get from restaurants nearer the action.
They brought us a very nice complimentary cava and fresa which fitted the occasion perfectly as we looked through the menus. There were four of us and we had tempura, ceviche and an artichoke salad as starters. We had cochinillo, seared tuna and two went for octopus as mains. We don't normally do dessert and we were all full but couldn't resist the description of the chocolate pearls dessert and shared two between us.
The restaurant was quiet which was nice but with a nice atmosphere and enough people to not feel as if you were there alone.
As we were leaving Elena mentioned they were having live music on during the summer so we'll definitely be back to check that out as it's a very romantic location for a singer on a warm evening.

A good overall impression. However a few things could be improved, no one to greet you on entry. Too loud music in the bar. Slow service in the bar and unable to read the menu, just not enough light. Service good but very slow. Outside on the terrace even darker. More lights or candles would be a huge improvement to overall ambience. Suggest more professional staff. If you are aiming for an upmarket restaurant
