Edición de 2023: Regresé a Málaga e hice dos giras más con Alfonso: el Caminito del Rey y el Torcal de Antequera. Una vez más, realmente me encantaron los viajes: excelente relación calidad-precio, lugares hermosos, compañía realmente agradable, totalmente recomendado.

Mi reseña original de 2020: recomiendo encarecidamente hacer un recorrido con esta empresa. Alfonso es un guía cálido, amigable y conocedor que cuida muy bien del grupo. La caminata que hice fue hermosa y también conocí gente fantástica. Aprecié particularmente cómo Alfonso me acomodó en el último minuto. La excursión de un día se convirtió en el mejor día de las vacaciones para mí: gran compañía, vistas impresionantes, un picnic en las montañas y una cata de vinos mientras se ponía el sol. ¡Definitivamente haré otro viaje si vuelvo a Andalucía!

Alfonso llegó puntualmente al punto de recogida y de principio a fin todo salió bien. Máximo 8 invitados en la camioneta, que estaba limpia y como nueva con buen aire acondicionado. ¡No apuraba a la gente en el camino, cuidaba a los caminantes más lentos y calmaba mis nervios por el puente colgante! Mucha información sobre el Caminito y la flora y fauna del parque nacional. Es un viaje fantástico y recomiendo encarecidamente esta empresa.

Hemos hecho la visita por el centro histórico y ha sido una maravilla. Nahuel transmite cercanía, experiencia y sobre todo mucha historia. Muy recomendable

¡Gran recorrido de Alfonso! Agregó algo de contexto histórico, así como información sobre la geología, flora y fauna de la zona. El ritmo no fue riguroso, pero la distancia total es de unos 7,5 km y solo puedes ir en una dirección, por lo que debes estar preparado para el clima. ¡¡Recomiendo encarecidamente utilizar Málaga Activa Tours!

A wonderful tour of the Caminito del rey with Alfonso. Very detailed and knowledgeable guide of the tour with great enthusiasm and good fun on the walk. A lovely picnic with some good food as well! Very good value for money

Great experiences, I did two tours with Alfonso, Torcal de Antequera and Caminito del Rey. Everything was just perfect, small group trips, well prepared, we didn't have to worry about anything. Great conversation, always ready to share interesting facts about the places we went to and tips and recomendations for travelling around. Thanks for making everything easy and pleasant!

We took 3 of their offered tours, Caminito del Rey, Frigiliana, and El Torcal. Alfonso does a wonderful job with getting you to the areas early to beat the rush to enjoy less crowds and see more wildlife. He has consider knowledge about the areas and a passion for teaching and explaining. The van was comfortable and the small group size makes for a fun experience. All the tours we took were fantastic and special. Most definitely we recommend takeing one or more tours from Malaga Activa Tours.

I was on a group tour to Frigiliana and Acequia de Lazar with Alfonso. After hiking we were trying tapas and local wines. It was such a nice trip Alfonso is an interesting and experienced guide and traveler, so you can get some new information about local area but also other countries. I highly recommend!

What a wonderful day with Alfonso! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The hike itself was remarkably beautiful, not too challenging with plenty of opportunities for photos. This is a must for anyone travelling to Malaga - I stayed in the area for over a month and this was my favourite excursion.

I live in Malaga and wanted to take my family from England to do el Caminito del Rey. I booked direct with Alfonso on his web page- all very easy and clear. We had the most amazing morning! Alfonso is a great guide, very funny, knowledgeable and attentive. The hike itself is very easy. Even my 85 year- old mum managed it no problem. Alfonso was very patient and kind with her. She loved the attention! We also had a perfectly timed picnic stop with delicious chorizo, cheese, fresh bread and bananas. El Caminito is a really sought-after trip and there were many other people there when we went, but Alfonso made sure we were always well spaced out from other groups so in most of our photos it looked like we were the only people there. If you want a hassle-free, small-group Caminito experience then Alfonso is your man! My family can't wait to try his other trips next time they are here! Muchas gracias Alfonso!

What an experience & adventure we had! The Caminito Del Rey was such a stunning & amazing place. Alfonso was so knowledgeable about the area and the history which was very interesting. He certainly made us feel at ease and was such great company. The little picnic stop was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Loved being part of a small group too. Did the Caminito del Rey with Alfonso. Picked up from a central, accessible location in Malaga. He knew our names straightaway as he only takes small group tours. Really knowledgeable and communicated the history, geography and biodiversity well in excellent English. Great tour and great guide.

Un très mauvais premier contact. D'entrée, je me suis faite reprocher d'avoir réservé une activité via la plateforme Viator, alors que Malaga Activa Tours a forcément dû conclure un accord avec ces plateformes intermédiaires pour vendre ses services. Quelques jours après, l'activité a été annulée sous prétexte que le sentier de rando était impraticable; je me suis renseignée de mon côté et l'information a été formellement démentie par deux sources (la Junta de Andalucía et une autre agence concurrente). J'ai écrit à MAT pour me plaindre et, à ce jour, je n'ai reçu aucune réponse. C'est bien dommage.

We booked the El Saltillo trip for a friends birthday (3 of us) as a surprise. The trip was cancelled with <24 hours notice (after we had to message the host to see if it was running), due to not having the minimum number of people (6), there was no mention of this being a possibility on the website. One star for a prompt refund being given but very disappointed given the lack of communication and the stress this has caused with having to replan with such little notice.

Today we hiked the Caminitas del Rey canyon trail and it was amazing. Alfonso, our guide, lead us through the canyon that is just spectacular. The water erosion of the river has resulted in a narrow, extremely deep canyon with sheer sided walls. Most of the trail is on a beautifully engineered boardwalk that has been literally attached to the side of the cliff walls with steel cables. Alfonso picked us up in Malaga, along with six other hikers, in a comfortable van and took us to the canyon. He then lead us through the canyon while explaining the interesting history and the geology of the area. All n all it was a fantastic day. Many thanks to Alfonso.

I did two tours with Alfonso and both were excellent. El Torcal de Antequera is a hidden gem and such a tranquil area. El Caminito del Rey is fantastic and definitely the highlight of my trip. Alfonso took care of us at all times, was extremely respectful of the environment and all those we encountered. I don't usually use group trips but for both locations it is totally necessary - but I did not need to worry because Alfonso was so easy going and excellent at breaking the ice among the group. He has a wealth of information and is an excellent tour guide.

Visited Caminito del Rey with a small group and a little bit in a rush. Explanations were both in Spanish and English (bit less). Despite some of us were freezing in the van while getting to and away from the site, it was an overall nice experience, the canyons are gorgeous and the views breathtaking. I'd recommend to visit the site independently or in a small group as ours was.

Our morning trip with Alfonso at the Caminito del Rey was excellent! He is a very friendly and nice guy, very knowledgeable on every topic related and made our experience super fun. The Picnic we had was great! It was a great day! I will definitely recommend him to my friends!

I did the Caminito del Rey Tour with Alfonso - it was all easy going, well organized and entertaining. Afterwards Alfonso has sent us pictures and a list of recommendations of places to eat and drink. Even afterwards when I asked him if he knew where to do an antigen-test I needed for travel, he forwarded me a contact directly, which was much of a help even days after the tour - I appreciate the help!

I hired the services of Alfonso, who is the guide, and it was an incredible experience.
Alfonso is very good people, he is patient, super professional, super polite. Very intelligent. He knows the place very well, besides correctly following the safety protocols. I would recommend him to everyone.

A great outdoor adventure! The tour was well organized, provided excellent communication, and great insight into natural beauty of Malaga. Highly recommended for solo travelers and groups in the Malaga area.

Highly recommended. Small- group daytrips. This format is way better than those offered by the large-scale tour companies. Small group makes experience very rewarding, personalized and much more time-efficient. Alfonso is professional, reliable and approachable, organized and on top of every detail. Daytrips are coupled with history and description of local fauna and flora.
