Mullarkey's Benalmádena

Fab place. Gets busy at night inside, get there before 9pm for a decent seat. Bands we saw were great

Only had drinks but they do food. Very busy pub. Liked it, had a good atmosphere. Very popular because of football.

Brilliant bar and atmosphere. Very good bands on an evening. Not sure why the welcoming staff (big guy with a beard and glasses) was so weird though. He just stand there all miserable with his hands on hips looking like he was in a shoot out. Don't let him put you off going in.

Poor service from untrained staff. Drinks ordered were different from those served. Will not go back.

Lovely bar, friendly staff, top music entertainment, fantastic outdoor seating with table service, we were in benalmadena for 7days attending a wedding, we spent 4 of those evenings in mullarkeys, will be back

Absolutely disgusting staff.plus customers in there rude. Definitely give this place a miss. The guy (owner) I think with a beard and glasses messed up gave me someone's table and then made out after when I ordered a drink I was giving him fake money. NEVER ever been so insulted in my life. Vile people!

Absolutely the best place for a group of people, bands are great, we where there for few nights running entertaining my sons wedding guest, the staff where wonderful, they made every effort to accommodate us as we where a very large group. Alihandro is the main man, thank you so much

Great bar, I've music most/every nite, & great atmosphere, proper drink (smirnoff etc) not that spanish rubbish. & very large measure.

Found this place on an search around and what a lovely bar it is, Luce music every night and very lively. Definitely should visit here fab venue and lovely staff too

Reasonable drinks one of the few live music venues on the Costa, the bands are usually of a decent quality, but it is live music so sometimes things can go wrong!

What a fab music venue, we saw some excellent live bands, great atmosphere, friendly helpful bar staff + a busy dance floor.
Traditional Irish pub with plenty seats inside + lots of outside seating with lights + heaters
Ideal location + a must visit

I've been to this pub several times, even bringing friends, and I recommend it because I must admit that the nights with live music are really really enjoyable.but the last time I was rudely told by the waitress that if I hadn't consumed any more I would have had to leave (after drinking two beers, at midnight during the week, with several tables free!)
I was disappointed and I won't be coming back

Only called in for a quick beer at 7, watched a Beatles tribute left (the fat 4) left at 1: 30. Wobbled all the way back to our apartment. Absolutely brilliant.

All the music was great and a nice guy who ran it. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to Benalmadena but if I did I'd certainly go back here.

Great place & great live bands prices good but air conditioning too strong for when not as busy absolutely frozen asked few members of staff to turn down along with other customers to be told they couldn’t only down side

Muy buen sitio para tomar unas cervezas y escuchar buena música. Estuvimos en el concierto de Black Jam y fue genial!
Por poner una pega, podrían quitar unas cuantas mesas de la zona del escenario, así habría más espacio para bailar.

The food service and staff were first class the food was excellent an nice place to relax with a relaxed atmosphere.

We didn't eat but enjoyed the live music, staff very nice. Glad I was outside as it could be bit loud inside. Table service saves you going to the bar. Tes a great evening

Never ever again! Had a meal and drinks outside on terrace. Went inside and got refused a drink? Too drunk app after 2 glasses of wine? Not the first time its happened here after talking to loads of people who gave been here.

Really good bar. Nice and big with plenty of outdoor seating too. Good quality entertainment every night. Good selection of food and drinks. Visit here every time we come to Benalmadena

Great spot. Typical Irish pub abroad. Cheap, comfortable and welcoming. Extremely busy compared to the surrounding bars, probably because it’s the only one that has live music. House band have theme nights such as Beatles, 80’s and retro. Other bands play on occasion to fill the bill.

Great live bands every night especially Revival. Compliments to great bar staff a special mention for Julie who looked after us superbly all week. Been coming for last 5 years hope your all here on our next visit.

Typical Irish pub in Spain. Went to listen to some live music. Reasonable Beatles tribute band playing. Bit of a weird set up as they have an outside restaurant so to get a cocktail in the bar you have to get bar staff to go next door but it worked.

Great pub with great entertainment. If you are looking for a good night out look no further than Mullarkeys. If you are travelling with children then this is not the place for you at night as the managements policy is all children must be out of the pub by 11pm. They may sit in the spacious terrace outside but you will not be able to enjoy the music.

Brilliant place for entertainment but shame about the staff making a big deal swearing at us in front of our kids for having fun, all over throwing some bits of paper about.

Local de copas, con personal muy profesional, atención de 10, música en directo, nada de garrafón, lugar muy recomendable para pasar unas horas muy agradables, apto para grupos amigos, en familia y si quieres ir solo también. Genial

Dirty bad mannered staff. Drinks getting smaller at end of night. It's only saving grace was great music.was in it sister pub the Hapenny bridge IIT was twice as bad and no music.the staff are slow rude and lazy. We had to wait ages for our food and my husband was very sick after it.very disappointed. Christina Solon

Live music venue in benelmedina waitress service outside various bands throughout week but only open evening's when I visited unsure if they serve food.

The band made it for me. A wide range of age groups and the staff were very welcoming. For the area it was a stand out.

Best bar in the area, live bands every night and Guinness is spot on. Waitress service for drinks works really well and venue is very nice. No kids after 11pm.

Good bar for live music. Prices above average but that's what you pay for live music. Waitress service second to none. As soon as your drinks are done they are over to take drink order.

Good bar. Nice interior, wood paneling. Good entertainment too. Looking forward to going again in September
