Observatorio de aves de la playa de los Lances.

Se dice que el lugar está "protegido", por supuesto, pero las vallas que preservan la reserva natural se encuentran en un estado lamentable, por lo que cualquiera puede entrar y molestar a las aves.

Bonito lugar para ver aves zancudas, con pozas de marea y un pequeño escondite. El acceso del público en general a la playa puede causar algunas molestias, pero en nuestra visita se verá una buena selección de aves.

Totalmente abandonado, los de las cometas metidos en el lagoon que se forma, jamás se ve al agente de Medio ambiente o al seprona, siendo zona de reserva y protección para las aves. Una pena

Algunos cafres lo utilizan de merendero y se dejan la basura allí, son capaces de ir con los envases llenos y no volver con ellos vacios

Comienza la época migratoria para los turistas y para muchas aves.
El mirador es una estructura espaciosa en un paraje privilegiado. Su situación dentro del parque hace despertar todos los sentidos. Ves rivera, playa, montaña. En dias buenos puedes ver en pocos minutos hasta 8 tipos de aves a ras de suelo.
Tarifa es un lugar ideal para avistamiento

El emplazamiento es magnífico. No se puede acceder en coche así que olvídate si vas cargado.
El estado de conservación es mejorable pero aceptable. No parece haber guardería, así que encontrarás perros sueltos, ciclistas y jinetes. Aún así merece la pena.
Limicolas todo el año. Chorlitejos, correlimos, archibebes y agujas colipintas. También garzas, garcetas y gaviotas.

Interesante, siempre se puede ver alguna limícola lo malo que la gente pasea con perros sueltos sin ningún cuidado

De nuevo un observatorio que no está pensado para poner el telescopio, no hay ventanas para su altura. Además, no hay pared trasera que defienda del viento de levante. Una pena potes el sitio está muy bien.

Un buen paseo y el Observatorio está en buenas condiciones, no está masificado.un paraiso para el cuerpo y la mente.muy recomendable.

A strategic location if keen on birding. It is true that more action on the part of the nature park rangers is required to finally crash down on the many kiters that seem not to care about the protected lagoon and dog walkers as well as horse riders that apparently cant read the signs. Still, a great spot for shorebirds and soaring bird migration under the appropriate wind conditions

El lugar es espectacularmente bello y muy interesante para observación de aves.

Lastima que las personas que pasean por allí lo hagan sin procurar el cuidado del entorno y las aves. Y lastima que las autoridades no lo impidan.
(Caminando entre las aves, por zonas restringidas, perros sueltos, a caballo.)

Es un lugar muy bonito, pero muy descuidado, hay que tener cuidado con las tablas del camino, ya somos muchas, las personas que nos hemos caído, porque las tablas, sobresalen unas de otras y es muy fácil tropezar

Sitio con unas vistas magníficas. Para amantes de la naturaleza con respeto por la fauna y flora locales

Una caseta muy curiosa donde apreciar aves y vistas espectaculares! Hay un cartel de información sobre las aves que se pueden avistar. La verdad que podría la gente cuidarlo más, y el ayto.un mantenimiento no vendría mal. Recomiendo

It has nothing to do with protected nature and animal life.
What can you expect in Spain? A country were the locals don´t respect nature and wildlife at all.
It is horrible to see everywhere in Spain hundeds of cars parking in the middle of the plants and refugiums of animals expecially birds.
There are everywhere signs which inform that nobody should enter the protected areas. But of course the ignorant Spaniards run around there trampling down all the plants and throw as usual their garbage.
No matter were you are in Spain (except Asturia) you will find especially in the nature the most horrrible garbage. They do all that, and always tell foreigners that the tourists have done it.
I lived long enough with Spaniards to know the truth.
Even on islands like Fuerteventura and Teneriffa you will find in the most beautiful landscapes everywhere the garbage of the locals.
Besides the typical platic bottles and beer cans they love to throw there old refridgerators, computers, car batteries and buckets with rests of toxic colours etc.
People which don´t see all that must be blind. Or they come from places where they don´t have the chance to see clean landscapes.
The problem in Tarifa is that everybody runs over the dunes, which in developed countries are of course protected, because they are an important place for the waterbirds that breed there.
In protected areas like the Laguna de los Lances for example, you will see always people walking around (mostly locals of course, because the foreigners are able to read the signs). Also hundreds of free running dogs chase the birds away. I love dogs, don´t get me wrong. But you shouldn´t allow your dog run through a reserve where waterbirds breed.
I am happy to find out that in some areas of Spain the European Union doesn´t give money for the nature reserves and parks anymore, because of the damage and littering there, mainly done by locals.
