Olivia's La Cala

Tuvimos una comida maravillosa aquí, entretenimiento brillante. Precioso restaurante y la comida era impresionante, así como un servicio fabuloso que te hace sentir muy bienvenido. ¡Gracias!

Si pudiera calificar con un cero sobre cinco, lo haría. Ni siquiera te molestes en mirar el menú, ya que probablemente no lo tengan. Mi novia tuvo que seleccionar un nuevo plato principal dos veces porque tampoco lo tenían. Pide dos de los almuerzos fijos (2 platos), aparentemente el postre no cuenta. Tuve que esperar una hora para el evento principal, aunque solo había otras 4 personas y el cantante en el restaurante. Después de disfrutar los platos principales, nos dieron una bebida de cortesía cada uno, pero a 16 por una ginebra tenían que hacerlo. 2 Luego tuvimos que esperar 45 minutos más para el postre, en este punto éramos las únicas dos personas en el restaurante. La tarta de queso estaba buena, el pastel tradicional de manzana y ruibarbo no tenía ruibarbo y estaba claramente congelado. Las cadenas de pubs inglesas hacen un mejor trabajo con el crumble. Cuando llegó la factura, me sorprendió, especialmente cuando escuché que 2 platos no cuentan si solo obtienes el plato principal y el postre que quieres aclarar. También tuvieron el descaro de agregar un cargo por servicio. La peor parte fue que pedí una guarnición de papas fritas que llegó después de terminar el plato principal y luego pedí mayonesa y luego llegó. La mayonesa tardó hasta que terminé, así que me quedé sentado allí con una olla de mayonesa y un plato vacío. La cuenta fue de 85 € por dos menús. Me cansé de explicarle al camarero español que 2 platos son un entrante y un plato principal o un plato principal y un postre siguen siendo dos platos. No es de extrañar que estuviera vacío un sábado por la tarde.

El servicio fue un poco lento el día que llegamos debido a una gran fiesta dentro del restaurante, pero los camareros explicaron y se disculparon, la comida y la bebida fueron increíbles y se sirvieron a la perfección y el entretenimiento coronó la noche. Definitivamente regresaría en el futuro.

No entiendo todas las críticas negativas. Si soy honesto, deben ser personas celosas y que odian.
Fuimos a cenar esta noche y el personal fue increíble, especialmente la encantadora señora maitre que nos recibió al llegar y nos mostró nuestra mesa.

Demasiado caro y poco acogedor. Bien, pero porciones muy pequeñas, el servicio es muy pobre. Parece faltar dirección de gestión. No volveremos.

Lugar absolutamente impactante. 1 estrella es ser amable. Horrible experiencia. 3 horas para conseguir comida que sea la mejor comida de pub. Ve a cualquier otro lugar. Simplemente no vayas aquí y te dejes engañar por el nombre.

Buena comida, nivel de precios algo elevado. Un poco de música fuerte a veces. Servicio muy agradable y agradable.

Me senté allí durante 3 horas, la comida cruda, la cerveza es tan plana como cualquier otra cosa, el servicio casi tan muerto como la cerveza, no lo recomendaría en absoluto, a menos que seas una despedida de soltera o un grupo de mujeres. No me molestaría, probablemente lo harían. No sé que estás allí de todos modos

Después de leer las reseñas, decidimos solo ir a tomar una copa porque los invitados de mi casa querían ver cómo era, GRAN ERROR, 8 € de cargo por servicio que dejamos, 5 € y esto era más de lo que merecían, pero nos echaron del bar por los 3 € y nos dijeron que era obligatorio, no opcional, no, entendemos por qué nadie va allí y obviamente nos uniremos a la lista.

La comida no tenía sabor, comida realmente básica para la cena de espectáculo a pesar del alto precio, tuvimos que pedir dos veces la sangría correcta que pedimos ya que nos seguían dando vino tinto en lugar de sangría rosa, el ambiente exterior era bueno una vez que nos cambiaron de una esquina adentro.

La peor experiencia con diferencia. Ayer, 9 de septiembre, fuimos a Olivia para tomarnos algo un grupo de amigos de Málaga capital sobre las 20: 00 horas. Primero entramos 6 personas y nos subieron a la terraza donde podíamos tomarnos algo de beber, cuando vinieron las otras dos personas del grupo e intentaron entrar en el sitio, indicando que ya los estamos esperando, los porteros les dijeron que no podían entrar debido a la vestimenta que llevaban: una camiseta y un pantalón corto vaquero una de las chicas y una camiseta con una falda la otra, todo negro y de estilo clásico o casual. Nos sorprendimos ya que algunos de nosotros llevábamos el mismo estilo de ropa y nos han dejado pasar antes sin ningún problema. De no quedarnos otra cosa qué hacer, tuvimos que pagar apresuradamente e irnos a otro sitio. Al bajar, sobre las 20: 30 horas los porteros seguían discutiendo con nuestras amigas, indicándoles que si no están satisfechas, pueden (literalmente) “irse a tomar por c*lo” e “irse a la m**rda”. Al preguntarles yo a uno de los porteros qué estaba ocurriendo, se negó a contestarme haciendo que no hablaba español, mientras que el otro seguía mandándonos literalmente a todas partes sin cortarse en ningún momento. Le indicamos que solo queríamos consumir en este sitio, no hace falta estar insultándonos y nos volvió a decir que podíamos coger nuestro dinero e irnos a tomar por. Una situación sin precedentes, somos un grupo de gente decente, con trabajo y familias y nunca nos han tratado así en ningún sitio además sin tener una razón para ello. El establecimiento se guarda el derecho de inadmisión, estamos de acuerdo. No obstante, el establecimiento no se puede guardar derecho a insultar a sus clientes sin motivo y tratarlos como basura. Aunque el resto del personal nos ha parecido bastante amable, en definitiva no vamos a repetir en ese sitio y se lo vamos a desaconsejar a todos, porque literalmente da miedo. Varios de nosotros trabajamos en el sector eventos entre Málaga capital y Marbella y jamás le vamos a recomendar a nadie este sitio. Además de tener los precios injustificadamente inflados.

La comida llegó, el servicio frío no existe, entonces tienen el descaro de agregar un 20% por el cargo por servicio cuando el servicio simplemente no existe, se cobra por las bebidas que no teníamos, está bien, se negaron a pagar el cargo por servicio.
De hecho, nadie parece estar molesto en absoluto.

Yo era un cliente habitual en el último restaurante de Stevens (chefs) en LaCala, la comida era excelente al igual que el servicio, pero ahora no sé qué pasó con él, puede ser demasiado grande y una gran vergüenza, ya que produjo una excelente comida en su propio restaurante

Visited for some friends special birthday celebrations. Food was excellent, fab cocktails and great party atmosphere. Emilia was our waitress for the evening.nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive. Fabulous evening all round)

The worst food I’ve ever had. I’ve never had to write a review like this before but I was just so shocked by the food and the service. We waited half an hour if not more for drinks, an hour for starters (one of which never arrived and finally after asking twice it showed up) and when our mains arrived we had to send one back because it wasn’t cooked. We were then charged for that meal on the bill. We sent two starters back, one main back and no one enjoyed their meal. Would never recommend this place to anyone it was awful. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in. When we got the bill we were shocked. They took one round of drinks off as an apology but for a bill of €500 that wasn’t good enough considering none of us got a meal that was edible.

Cocktails left a lot to be desired, I tried a dessert and wasn't blown away. Very welcoming staff though!

Perfecto sitio para que si eres extranjero te timen. Pides una copa, te sirven la de menor valor, pero te cobran como si fuera oro líquido.

Great food, amazing atmosphere, fabulous singer and dancing till 2am definitely worth the taxi ride from Marbella!

No he visto restaurante más informal, pides unas copas en cartas y te sirven las que ellos quieres y luego te cobran el precio de la bebida más cara. Pésimo, deficiente, no volveré más.

We had a 9pm booking, booked for Mum's birthday, we had a lovely meal but by the time we had all finished our meal and then chose our desserts the kitchen was closed, however when we reminded them it was Mums birthday they brought out a brownie dessert with sparkler in it, We had a great time and danced till closing time.

Had a fabulous lunch today with my family Inc 2 small kids. The tapas menu was incredible, every dish was delicious perfect sized portions. The 2 cocktails had by the nana were gorgeous! Oscar and Emily couldn't of done more for us. Highly recommended!

Es un lugar con mucho encanto, justo enfrente del mar. Lo encontramos de casualidad dando un paseo por la cala, y volveremos seguro. El personal de 10!

Unfortunately it did not stand up to expectations. The venue looks great, location is more than excellent (no parking) by the beach. Food was disappointing; it looked great but meat was anemic, not cooked enough, Yorkshire pudding too hard and dry, roast potatoes dry as well. Drink were expensive for Spain, glass of 125ml was English price, forget the Marbella bit. We watched the barman and all Drinks were bit short of messuare. How to describe the experience? Like a girl with fake lips, fake eyelashes and too much make up, not sure if she is pretty underneath. Shallow.but some people may like it. Staff were helpful and attentive but if you don't have good food (for that money), expensive drinks in nice decor can't save you. There is soo much potential if they cut on pretences and snobby prices. Everyone goes at least once. I know you won't believe me.

Precio desorbitante muy poca cantidad en las bebidas y un servicio muy lento aconsejo solo para británicos!

Amazing meal in a stunning restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and will be back as soon as we ar out in La Cala again in the new year

MUCHO OJO con este local. Son unos impresentables. Te hacen trabajar supuestamente de prueba y no te pagan el día. Según los propios camareros con los que coincidí el día que trabajé, lo hacen siempre. De modo que tienen personal trabajando gratis y por supuesto no dados de alta.
Veo que buscan personal. Recomiendo NO TRABAJAR CON SEMEJANTE GENTUZA.

In Olivia's for drinks and fantastic view and little Jessica was given straberrys with raspberrys and she loved them. The bar has great views out to the beach.

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Staff were wonderful, food was amazing and the layout and location are exceptional. The restaurant and terrace are both spacious. We had the 2 course set menu (18.95 Euros) and a couple of relaxing drinks. The only thing wrong was we were overcharged and did not realise until we were a 3.5 km walk away.

Went there with family for the 1st time been told soo much about it.
Firstly ordered starters they came within 5 minutes which we thought bizarre how it came out that quick only to realise they were under cooked then we waited a while for them to arrive only half to be burnt and the other half freezing again told the waiters who said something in Spanish and walked away. In the end left the food paid nearly £300. In a nutshell under cooked and overpriced. Never again.

I was slightly apprehensive having read some reviews, particularly in relation to the “strict” dress code. We were smartly dressed and had no issue getting in. That said, There were a few in trainers and shorts. We arrived just after 7 and met by attentive staff. They remained so throughout the course of the evening even when it started to get much busier. Our food was excellent, my wife had the pork whilst I had the lasagne. We shared the chilli calamari which again was lovely. One minor criticism was that one of group had to send her meal back as wasn’t hot enough. Also the ravioli was a tad too creamy for my taste. The rose wine was delicious and the atmosphere was great, especially when the live band started playing. All in all we had a very good evening and will be going back on our next visit.

Fab food got served but was in there 3.5 hours and only had 3 drinks. Need to sort out staff behind bar as to many taking orders. Wouldn’t rush back as drinking was the main issue. Sorry Elliot

The best place ever in mijas and definitely one of the best here in la Costa del Sol.just coming inside you immediately start to feel the energy and the happiness of the People.thanks to make our days more fun.and to give us a nice and safe place to go for drink a wine with friends.

A great Sunday afternoon with friends. The service and entertainment were both superb. All the staff were great from the first hello to the last goodbye.

Made us so very welcome despite the fact that we arrived during a televised funeral of the founder of Olivia. Will definitely be back.

Very nice decor, welcoming, service was okay not the best, starter was amazing tomato and roasted red pepper, rest of the meal was mediocre.

Good food service and entertainment shame about the house wine (plonk) they sell. Come on Elliott you are in wine country, you can do better than that!

Great setting, atmosphere and entertainment but the quality of the food was poor especially for the price of it!

Incredible service from the host to the many servers who all assisted us throughout our meal. Delicious food & at a decent price for 3 courses. Just bring your appetite because the portions are huge! Even had live music & a 180 degree view of the sea, amazing.

Food was fine but nothing more than that. Lacking flavour and small touches to detail that just had it missing the mark.

Great food. Expensive though. Waiters very distracted. Nice music. But the music is far too loud guys. It kills the conversation element of dining. Would certainly visit again but would save up first - and request to sit in a location as far away from the (excellent) music so as to be able to chat with the company.

This place is basicly a pub that they market as 'upper class' a justification that they use to sell extremely over priced food and drink. It is in no way 'fine dining with fine company' especially when the bouncer is sorting people out with cocaine!

Shockingly bad. Lovely looking restaurant, good entertainment but the food was unbelievably bad - I’d rather have eaten McDonald’s.

Great atmosphere, great entertainment, lovely and clean decor. Service wasn't as good as hoped. We had to keep asking for service.

The decor is lovely, inside and out, and on the night we had great entertainment, Robbie Williams tribute act. The food is nice but I wouldn't describe it as à la carte. The ladies toilets were untidy, the first toilet I went in had no toilet roll, the hot water wasn't working at all and only one soap dispenser was in use.
I would return but I hope my comments, especially about the toilets, have a positive effect.

Fun place. Smart professional staff. Not cheap. Vodka and tonic was £17. Cant comment on the food, just went for a drink for the experience. The singer was very good, Pasco, a must see.

Excelente cocina que unifica la cocina francesa con la malagueña. Maitre muy profesional. Creo que eramos los únicos españoles. Corbina excelente y cebiche exquisito.

Over priced and terrible service. If all you want is 'to be seen' with other TOWIE lovers then this is the place for you. But if you want quality food, good service and non rip off prices then steer clear.

We when here for my birthday last night, the service was ok, the food is well over priced for less than average food, the drinks are a massive rip off, my wife ask them to celebrate my birthday and they said we had to buy a desert to do so, then they just brought the over priced desert out with no celebration. Nice place but they need to remember this is La Cala not Marbella, looks like the rights have got it wrong

Fantastic! We visited as a hen party of 13 to do the cocktail making and dinner. Some of us had been before so knew what to expect. It was brilliant from start to finish, Martin and Serg who did the cocktail making were brilliant the whole time! €25 is a bargain for what you get. Dinner was amazing too, people say it’s overpriced for what you get, I have to disagree and all 13 of us loved our meals. Would revisit time and time again.

What a horrible experience. Over-priced, mediocre quality food. Had to sent the steak's back as even the sharpest knife could not cut through it. Then got embarrassed in front of my wife by the bouncer telling me off in a very abrasive manner for lighting up a cigar in a smoking area. An evening celebrating my wife's birthday turned in to a complete disaster.
