Realmente triste y frustrada por la manera tan invasiva que tiene este alcalde de transformar nuestro pueblo. Más allá de la crítica o la protesta, que claramente no sirve para nada, solo quiero compartir mi tristeza.

This little traffic-free square has a Chapel and a statue, both devoted to the Virgen del Carmen.
It is also the peaceful extra dining space of the excellent Bar-Restaurante Virgen del Carmen.

Quiet plaza with a nice view to the sea. Nearby restaurant serves refreshments on the tables.

We went down to visit this Plaza and Church on the festival day of Virgen del Carmen and the locals were in preparation for the evening it seemed: cleaning their house fronts, decorating the street etc. If you have kids with you, there's a tiny sweet shop on the corner to make them happy too!

As always a staple of estepona culture and heritage.
Take a morning to be here here and your breath will be taken away with the view. Always clean, close to history of this fisherman's life.
