Cuatro excelentes días de ciclismo de montaña con Pure Mountains en octubre. Jenny y Tim son guías fantásticos y personas absolutamente encantadoras. Desde la granja en las colinas hasta la red de personas que han desarrollado, ¡qué operación tan encomiable! ¡Picnics a mitad de camino y doggos esperándonos junto al fuego! ¿Qué más podríamos pedir? Montar en la zona es fantástico, parece que hay algo para todos. Mi único deseo es que hubiéramos logrado tocar el xilófono, ¡pero ni siquiera Jenny y Tim pueden controlar el clima! No temas, todavía hay muchas colinas para subir y bajar sin importar el clima, ¡y eso simplemente significa que tendré que regresar para montar más!

Estábamos montando enduro como pareja durante 2 días con Tim y ¡fue muy divertido! ¡Fue muy empático, lleno de buenas vibraciones y buenas habilidades en mtb! Planeó un buen viaje para el segundo día a mayor altitud, como nos gusta. Su esposa apoyó nuestro viaje con el 4x4. ¡Muchas gracias por esta hermosa experiencia!

Acabo de terminar el recorrido de gravel. Una experiencia absolutamente excepcional de principio a fin. Brillantemente guiado, excepcionalmente bien organizado en todos los sentidos, ciclismo fantástico, paisajes impresionantes y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Tim, Jenny y Tatiana organizan una experiencia ciclista increíble y no puedo esperar a volver.

Nuestra corta estancia de una semana con usted fue perfecta.
Desde la bebida de bienvenida en el bar la noche que llegamos, donde conocimos a los demás que se quedaron con usted hasta nuestra última noche, nos hizo sentir bienvenidos y parte del grupo, al igual que sus amigables perros y gatos.
Nuestra habitación estaba impecablemente limpia y era un lugar tranquilo para descansar después de montar en bicicleta.
El desayuno era excelente, tomado afuera con una vista maravillosa, al igual que las cenas, fueron geniales.
Los senderos por los que nos llevó fueron fabulosos, especialmente el último día cuando cabalgamos a lo largo del río seco.
Nuestras paradas a la hora del almuerzo fueron sabrosas y abundantes y en lugares maravillosos, y gracias nuevamente por atender a un vegano.
Su casa está ubicada en hermosas montañas, en total paz y tranquilidad, nos maravillamos contemplando la Vía Láctea por las noches.

Acabo de terminar una aventura de cinco días en bicicleta de montaña con Tim y Jenny de Pure Mountains y no podría estar más feliz. Estos dos claramente aman lo que hacen y la experiencia que brindan lo refleja. La conducción, adaptada a los niveles del grupo, es divertida, pintoresca y tan exigente como uno quiera. La acogedora casa de campo en la que nos alojamos estaba impecable, espaciosa, tranquila y tenía todas las comodidades que uno pudiera necesitar y más. Está a las afueras de uno de los muchos pueblos pintorescos de las montañas de Sierra Nevada, donde los senderos discurren interminablemente. Tim y Jenny nos cuidaron muy bien y tuvimos mucho para comer y beber, dentro y fuera del camino. Combine esto con un par de días en la cercana ciudad de Málaga con toda su historia, museos y restaurantes, y tendrá unas vacaciones completas. Estoy todo sonrisas por esta experiencia.

Impresionante lugar y disposición, muy recomendable para cualquiera que disfrute del exigente ciclismo de montaña en una naturaleza y vistas fantásticas.

Everything about my short week stay at Pure Mountains was superb.

Jenny and Tim are fantastic hosts and guides, nothing was any trouble for them and Tim even looked after and cleaned our bikes for us.

Their farmhouse is in a great location to look out over the hills and makes a perfect, well equipped base for relaxing at the end of the day.

All the food was excellent, be it breakfast or dinner served at the farmhouse or the welcome appearance of their pick-up (and occasionally faithful Land Rover) with snacks or lunch while out on the trail.

It'd all be for nothing without the riding though and that doesn't disappoint! Stunning scenery and amazing fast flowing trails with more technical sections, switcbacks, rocks (lots of rocks!). If you don't like riding a bike here you probably don't like riding a bike.

Great experience in a really laid-back, warm and friendly atmosphere with our amazing hosts Jenny and Tim. They master the balancing act of being both very professional and also cool to hang out with, and they take care of absolutely everything.
The scenery is really beautiful and you get rides that are technical, gnarly or just super smooth flow trails – whatever you desire.
Highly recommended. We will definitely come back, again and again…

Fantastic week riding with Pure Mountains in Spain. Excellent hosts, guiding was fantastic.great variety of terrain and scenery. Top class hosts. Dogs were awesome too, not to mention the excellent cake after the ride from Jenny.

We had a really nice time at P. M. Wonderful house and surrounding areas. Exelent and friendly guides with great knowledge of the best trails for the day!

An amazing MTB location with world class trails all expertly guided by Tim & Jenny. From arrival in Spain to departure, the transfers, the food, the accommodation were all excellent, the whole trip was 1st class.

Pure Mountains has been on my bucket list of to-do trips for a few years and didn’t disappoint. Firstly Tim and Jenny are the most gracious hosts and the entire group felt well looked after so don’t panic if you are of mixed abilities. The riding was incredibly scenic and exhilarating. My first time riding a full bouncer and it was an eye opener. Highly recommend. We did a short week break which was spot on.

I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect riding in Sierra Nevada but after a four days of riding I can only say it’s epic and even more so thanks to our hosts.

Jenny & Tim have this biking holiday thing down to a T… both are exceptional guides and hosts. Whether guiding high up the mountain or chatting at the breakfast table I always felt at ease in their company, confident they had everything covered and allowing me to just relax and enjoy the trip.

The trails… wow. Everything you would expect from mountainous riding. Rocky, flowing descents followed by technical switchbacks and all natural rock gardens great to just blast through. All accessed via manageable, winding climbs… after all you have to earn your descents but they’re really worth it.

Each day we enjoyed great trailside support, be it riding guidance, bike maintenance or the all important smorgasbord for lunch! Then back home each day for the greatest welcome back thanks to Rory, Coco & Molly (the house doggos!) with cuddles galore before cake, beers and dinner. Then relaxing by the log burner until the days riding caught up with us.

Just back from a "short week" trip with Pure Mountains and had a fantastic experience. 4 days riding (Fri - Mon) all on different trails with unique challenges, great guiding and excellent food.

The riding: The riding was all on natural single/double track in the Sierra Nevada mountains. This meant that some trails were mellow, some flowy, and some technical (ranging from green to black / downhill if you were to equate to UK trails). We took ~140mm trail bikes that were perfect for the riding. Technical challenges were well signposted well by Tim / Jenny and there was options for all abilities in the group. The surface was dusty / rocky and I would highly recommended "trail / gravity" tyres with thick sidewalls (if Maxxis at least Exo+) due to all of the rocks. Finally the scenery was stunning; it felt like each ride was an adventure!

The accommodation / food: Excellent in all regards. The farmhouse is an amazing venue with comfortable rooms. The delivery of a fantastic lunch every day was superb, as were the rest of the meals.

We are already looking at return dates.

Recently returned from a 5 day trip and I'm sure Tim & Jenny will be glad to have seen the back of me after my unlucky tumbles! I hired their bike, a Canyon Strive, which was fantastic and my first time on a full suspension bike. We were lucky with the weather which made the trails and scenery superb.

Tim & Jenny's experience over these trails is second to none and Tim was excellent at gauging what was best suited for the rider's ability. A great mix of single and double track with some technical challenges thrown in. Not for the novice but you don't need too much experience to have a fantastic time.

Accommodation and food was great and the farmhouse is the perfect venue for this adventure. Tim & Jenny are excellent hosts and very easy to get on with. Nothing is too much trouble.

If you want a mountain bike experience to remember, these are the guys to do it with. Wonderful experience!

My husband and I had and absolutely fantastic time with the Pure Mountains team. Jenny and Tim are brilliant at what they do and picked trails that were exactly what we were looking for, as well as providing perfectly timed tea breaks and daily cake. We wouldn’t have changed anything (especially not getting to meet their lovely dogs).

Pure Mountains offered seemingly unlimited mountain biking possibilities magically paired to riders. Tim and Jenny were gracious hosts and guides, with food and drink at every turn balanced by challenging trails (and a break when needed). A few days at Pure Mountains made us dream new mountain bike dreams. And it was through and through a vacation. We had just the perfect Mountain Bike holiday.the trails were challenging but great fun, the scenery spectacular, the guiding excellent, and the way we were looked after.from pick up at the airport to the meals was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for Jenny and Tim - our bikes even had a little wash at the end of day. I would highly recommend Pure Mountains - its not for the novice, but equally you dont have to be an expert.

Jenny and Tim really looked after us magnificently. Food set out on trail just when needed, Bikes transported, (and cleaned!), No obligation to do the one extra climb if you didn't feel up to it, lots of coaching on technical descents, options for the less brave rider, and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Thanks so much for the three days we spent with you. Possibly a bit outside my comfort zone in terms of fitness, but I managed to stay with the group ok, and you were very patient!

Fantastic mountain biking, faultless hospitality! 5 star recommendation.

Just back from a fantastic 4 days of mountain biking with Pure Mountains. Jenny and Tim are expert trail guides, riding coaches and wonderful hosts. Each day was spent on different hillsides and on different trails with perfectly setup quality mountain bikes that we chose to hire. The Alpujurras mountain landscapes are beautiful in all directions giving plenty to take your mind of the climbs and plenty to distract you on the downhill sections if you're not being careful! We felt very well looked after, not least every day at lunchtime when we sat down in the woods to be spoiled with a wonderful picnic lunch, the very best of luxury mountain biking!

We have just returned from our Sierra Nevada biking holiday with Pure Mountains and could not fault a single aspect of the trip. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by Jenny to being dropped off we both had the most incredible time and couldn't have asked for any more. The farmhouse accommodation we stayed in was perfectly situated to access the many biking trails and it includes every amenity you would ever need. It is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious, and comes equipped with 3 characterful dogs!

We enjoyed a plentiful and tasty breakfast from Yohav and lovely evening meals from Jane, aswell as a packed lunch on the trails each day. Having the land rover support driven by the brilliant Gerry was excellent too, as it meant we didn't have to carry lots of kit when biking. Our guides, Tim and Jenny were outstanding, and were quickly able to organise the riding to suit the group's abilities. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we always felt comfortable with their advice on the trails. We really enjoyed Tim and Jenny's humour and relaxed manner. The trails themselves are varied in terms of terrain and technicality and they were all brilliant fun to ride. We had an amazing time each day and felt that every possible eventuality was considered. All we had to do was to enjoy the trails!

We definitely want to return to Pure Mountains to experience more of the incredible trails and hugs from the dogs!

I cannot recommend Pure Mountains highly enough, from start to finish you will have a great experience whether it's the guided riding, accommodation or food. Jenny and Tim are the most welcoming of hosts and their years of experience in riding the trails that surround them plus their ability to gauge your fitness and ability means that you will be rewarded with trails that will test you but leave you with a feeling you just don't get from a bike park. Add in the spectacular views, the wildlife and hopefully the weather, and you will want to start planning your return visit as soon as you get home.

Fabulous for walking too! As I am not a mountain biker, Jenny took me on some lovely walks. The views were amazing and Jenny has really good knowledge of the area, history and wildlife. Can't fault the accommodation or food, or anything really!

A thrilling experience with exhilarating views and skills that challenged our abilities but after lessons from Jenny we were much more confident. In addition, I had some food intolerances and all was planned and set in place for delicious meals before we arrived.

C'est mon 3ème séjour dans la Sierra Nevada avec Jenny and Tim a.k. A. Pure Mountains et je confirme qu'ils sont toujours au top après 14 ans d'opérations. Tim est un rider hors pair et, avec Jenny, ils mènent Pure Mountains de mains de maître. Ils aiment ce qu'ils font comme au premier jour, vivre dans leur ferme isolée à 1600 m d'altitude entourés de bergers et d'éleveurs de tomates et autres légumes et surtout de leurs chiens et chats et de leurs clients et amis chaque semaine en saison; parcourir en VTT, faire découvrir et explorer les chemins inombrables qui sillonnent les montagnes avoisinantes entre 1000m et 2500m; s'aider de Land Rovers infatigables comme assistance logistique non seulement pour restaurer les cyclistes mais aussi pour rendre les excursions plus intéressantes; être attentif au moindre détail dans la qualité de l'hébergement et des repas fournis et dans l'agrément et la sécurité dans lesquels nous exerçons notre sport. Il faut y aller, seul ou en groupe, j'y ai toujours rencontré des personnes intéressantes pour m'occuper lorsque je ne suis pas sur mon vélo!

This was an amazing experience. We are not riders, we just wanted to experience the area and get away, and Tim and Jenny really came through. They had suggestions for us to visit the villages, hikes we could do to explore the area, and allowed us to just relax at the farmhouse with the pups. They opened their home and we felt so welcomed. And we ate so well! Despite our active days (we walked and hiked a lot!) I think we still gained weight. We also met some wonderful new friends and really enjoyed relaxing on the patio with beverages at the end of the day. We hope to visit again soon. Tim and Jenny are delightful, and very thoughtful hosts. (And Molly, Rory, and Cocoa (the canines) were also good hosts, they gave us all the doggy snuggles we wanted.)

Pure Mountains are simply amazing at what they do. The perfect accommodation, perfect riding terrain and guiding and perfect food in abundance. Highly recommended and will go again

This was a wonderful stay throughout! Tim is a great guide who knows every stone in the Sierra Nevada and always found the right level of difficulty for us, so we always felt safe and could take full pleasure on the rides. And nothing tops having a cold beer on the farmhouse terrace after a day out on the bikes, overlooking the hills and watching the sun set behind the next ridge! I hope we'll find a chance to be back one day!

A reasonably high elevation location with good mtb riding potential. Guided riding is more aerobically easy "Enduro" style than "XC" type riding (unless you factor in some solo riding too). Simply awesome trail lunches (thanks Jezza) and guiding from Tim. Thank you - it was a great break from routine for me.

Jenny and Tim go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They tailor their guiding to suit your riding style and the trails are amazing! As an experienced rider looking for a bit of climbing and a lot of descending on fun, flowy and technical trails I can't recommend them enough. I'll be going back again in the near future!

Some bucket list trails pitched brilliantly at our level - some of the best riding I've ever done, up there with Utah, Arizona and the Alps. Amazing weather helped, even in November. Not to mention the great accommodation, food, drink and - last but not least - the overall loveliness of Jenny & Tim our hosts and guides. Highly recommended by anyone who is serious about their mountain biking and enjoying life in general!

What an joy to return to the PureMountains farmhouse. They know the best trails. Amazing all-natural, without any man-made obstacles, with a good balance between climbing and descending.

Pure Mountians was all I hoped for and much much more. Fantastic location high up in the Sierra Nevada, beautiful traditional house, amazing views, warm and welcoming with simply the best hosts.

I felt like I was at home from the first moments. Very comfortable, with amazing meals, drinks and snacks provided.

The cycling was incredible. Varied, beautiful and challenging. Im a relative beginner and I never felt I was out of my depth thanks to the support and guidance from Tim and Jenny. The bike I rented was excellent.

I would highly recommend a holiday with Pure Mountians, zero complaints, fantastic adventure, life-long memories.

A great holiday, a big thanks to Jenny and Tim for looking after us. Food was fantastic and ate far too much, tea and a freshly baked cake after every ride was a great touch. Farmhouse was in a terrific spot, we watched the sunrise over the mountains just before sitting down for breakfast.
Riding was tough at times but expect nothing different if you want to ride a mountain bike in Spanish mountains! And all those ups made for some of the best descents I've done, absolutely sublime singletrack. Views and scenery were stunning. Hopefully I'll be returning.
A big thanks also to Jerry, Jane and Lou for keeping us full.

Our first cycling holiday in almost 2 years (due to COVID) was an absolute joy! Highly recommend Pure Mountains - there's a lot that has to go right to ensure a good cycling experience - knowing the trails, quickly assessing rider capability, anticipating what people want, being awesome riders and awesome people! Pure Mountains was an overall splendid experience. Yes, it is beautifully situated on a mountain side. Yes, there were friendly dogs taking care of you. Yes, the trails are varied and of great quality, demanding in all aspects. And finally, yes, Jenny and Tim as guide as well as the supporting staff are incredibly nice, skilled and fun to hang out with.

One of the best mountain biking experiences you will ever have. Fantastic hosts, amazing location, and incredible food. Oh yeah, and the riding is kinda good too. This was my first time riding with Pure Mountains and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I have gone on many similar trips in the past but none compare to the overall experience offered through Pure Mountains. Extremely professional, friendly and most of all fun. Well prepared for a safe experience during these Covid times as well. I highly recommend!

We went with our 2 young teen boys. Loved it, especially staring into the sunny distance from the terrace after a ride in the hills. We aren't hardened defenders but that was no problem at all

Outstanding. Remote and wild views of Sierra Nevada. The small group of guests of around 6-8, that they look after for the holiday worked brilliantly, hosted by a very welcoming and friendly couple who know the area as well as mountain biking extremely well. Huge spread of food and drink is laid out for lunch and tea brought by the support vehicle to locations on the varied cycle routes. Very comfortable bedding and rooms set around a courtyard.

Great accommodation in a beautiful setting high up in the mountains. Fantastic clear skies when I was there in October. Good singletracks mostly going downhill with transport back up (optional uphill riding for masochists like me). Tim and Jenny are excellent guides- fit and knowledgeable. The food, both onsite and in the local hotel was excellent. I went for the Ollie Morris coaching trip. Ollie is a great teacher and all round nice guy. No complaints whatsoever and I'd love to do it again before I get too old for this mountain biking lark.

Back from my third trip with Pure Mountains and I'm missing the crazily blue skies, the dry trails and the delicious food! There's nothing better than starting the day with porridge and eggs outside on the terrace (even at the end of October), riding a mixture of rocky and flowy trails through forests and on the edge of the valley with Tim & Jenny's expert guiding, then finishing the day back on the terrace with a beer, looking forward to a 3-course dinner. Olly's coaching on this last trip added another dimension - expert advice on the trail and lots of skills fun in the afternoon. I'm sure I'll be back for my fix next year!

People, location and riding is incredible. The experience is made super relaxing as you just ride from the house each morning to the trails instead of having to get in the car. After some climbing, you spend the day descending before being picked up and taken back to the house. Lovely food and well looked after.

We had a great time being guided by Jenny and Tim, the trails were fun and varied, food was excellent (I am Coeliac and they looked after me incredibly well) and the accommodation top notch. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to return

Fabulous few days messing about on bikes. Great setup with hosts Tim and Jenny everything sorted so you can ride your bike and then chill out on the terrace with a beer before a delicious hearty meal. Trails are everything from flowy single track to tight and techy switch-backs but with super coach Olly Morris on hand even this old dog learnt some new tricks and had great laugh doing it.

I just came back from my second trip to Pure Mountains. There are a lot of things to like: The scenery, the trails, the guest house, the breakfasts, the cats and dogs, the food, the amazing logistics, I could carry on.

Tim and Jenny are knowledgeable and professional hosts and guides who manage to create an environment where people can forget the outside world completely, and just enjoy riding their bike.

This was my second visit to Pure Mountains, and it was even better than the first. Pure Mountains provide an ideal vacation for mountain bike enthusiasts, if that is what you are into. Jenny and Tim are warm and welcoming hosts that go to great efforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

For good and bad, the lodge itself is isolated high in the mountains. There is a 20 minute Land Rover ride to the nearest village. However, the lodge provides everything you could want. Plenty of food, beer and wine, dogs, cats and magnificent views.

The trail network is also excellent. The focus is more on "flow" than "gnarly", which makes it enjoyable for a wide variety of riders. That said, it is still gnarly enough that knee and elbow pads should be used. They have access to different altitudes, from 2500 meters to the vally bottom. This causes the temperature to vary throughout the day. Beware of thorns in the valley, and wild bulls on the high mountains.

The rental bikes were solid (2019 Trek Remedys), well maintained and suited to the terrain at hand.

A truely magnificent experience! A really nice little place att 1700 meters above sea level with a couple that does everything to make the stay pleasent and exciting. Regarding the accomodation the rooms were nice and the food was above expectations. A serious breakfast with all you can eat of fresh fruits, youghurt, scrambled eggs, toast, porridge etc. Filled with energy every morning. Dinner was home made by locals and tasted really good too. I decided to rent my bike from Pure Mountains. I seriously recommend this since the terrain really demands a good bike, and the staff made sure the bike was in excellent trim each morning (you are not really keen on fiddling with your bike after having ridden it for a full day, then you just want to enjoy the beer/wine). Myself I am a pretty good rider. And although some of the other guests were more moderate in their technical skills Pure Mountains made sure there were trails for all skills most of the time. Recently back from my fourth trip to Pure Mountains over the past 12 months. The four days went far too quickly. Tim, Jenny and Team look after you from start to finish, so all you need to do is relax, get to know your fellow riders and enjoy the amazing trails.

Fantastic 'short week'! Such a pleasure to experience the small village part of Spain, and have a truly laid-back and relaxing mountain bike holiday. You'll climb and you'll ride - make no mistake! - but it's so nice to go on a holiday where you pedal out from home base every day instead of moving hotel to hotel to hotel. And home base is great-comfortable, casual, wonderful food, lots of hot water, laundry (!) and dogs! Dogs! Jenny and Tim are great laid-back hosts and guides, and have the best ability I've seen to lead groups of mixed skill levels. Thank you!

I can't rate Pure Mountains highly enough. If you are looking for fantastic trails in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings, this is the place. Tim and Jenny are wonderful hosts adapting the riding to just the right level while offering fabulous accommodation and delicious home cooking.

Fantastic holiday with Pure Mountains. Every aspect from accommodation, food, hospitality and the poochies is amazing. Great farmhouse. Rustic, very comfortable and welcoming.

Fantastic trails to ride, great, very well maintained bikes. Excellent climbing and fast rugged descents.

Picnic lunches and tea and fresh cake at the end of every day. Home cooked food for dinner and hearty breakfasts.

The biking is exciting, rough, fast and everything you could ask for. Jenny and Tim give great support and guidance and look after you exceptionally well.

Fabulous experience and was quite sad when it was time to leave. An experience I’ll never forget.
