Sorry but the food was extremely bad but the servers are friendly. Our tour guide recommended because it was the only place open at lunch but we would not recommend.
Comida casera a buen precio.
This place was absolutely disgusting! They also removed my review from before lol so I decided to repost it:) also after i posted this they found me on facebook and threatened me to remove the review honestly this place should be avoided
Absolutely fantastic place! All you can eat mains and tapas for 10 euros, what more can you want in life? The owner was extremely friendly and hospitable and my God the food was amazing! It had such a wide selection of various foods, both hot and cold. After coming from a traumatizingly horrible dining experience (at Restaurante El Vizir), REINA MÓNICA was a saving grace, as if I had climbed out of hell and into the gates of heaven, welcomed by the owner himself. The warmth and great food helped me to regain my senses and sanity after Restaurante El Vizir. One of the best restaurants and dining experiences in Granada, it deserves nothing less than 5 stars.
We went here on the vacation we had in Seville, and it was a day trip out to the surrounding area of the restaurant. The guide suggested it to us as a good Moroccan restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options, which would be expected by every rational person ever since Morocco is majorly through and through a Muslim country with halal cuisine. When we saw the window it looked like genuine food from afar so we went in. When we went in it was a dingy bar atmosphere with food left out in open air. The food was all cold for some god awful reason, and there was so much ham in everything which is insane for a ‘Moroccan’ place since the majority of their dishes are cooked for Muslim people who don’t even eat pork, and newsflash, ham is pork, and pork is not vegetarian friendly or Muslim friendly or inherently traditional Moroccan cuisine. A few other Muslims and Hindu people came there and literally only ate bread since nothing else was good even if it was vegetarian, it was literally all cold slop thrown together and then chucked at people en masse, which is in their words a ‘authentic Moroccan buffet’. The cook was out there for a bit and mixed other food with food to show what was vegetarian which is unsanitary and unsafe if someone had allergies (god forbid). The owner of the place was doing less than nothing sitting behind the bar, trying to look pretty as she cleaned an empty bottle of wine for the entire time we dined there. Take my advice: skip the place. They basically had scattered chickpeas on a few dishes and called it ‘Moroccan’ which was in my opinion ridiculous and bigoted, and the place is nothing more than a failing tourist trap and a health hazard. My sister got food poisoning and paid 10 bucks to get it. 40 bucks in total for the whole family. Spend your money some place else. Also, they messaged me on Facebook asking me to remove my review which falls under the category of harassment. This business is like a bad stomach virus that won’t go away.
Pictures look good but food was just okay. We actually meant to go to the restaurant next door but didn't realize it until after we had ordered. That turned out to be a great laugh. Nothing special but it sure does look good when the food is displayed right in front of the big window for passeebys to see.
Warm and welcoming small bar with personable service and tasty tapas. Honest and sociable local establishment. We did not eat the buffet.just free tapas. A very good experience.
