Strange how the website for Royal Palace Gallery located in Spain is totally in English, seems a little rude to any Spaniards who want to use it. In many of the "Roy Lichtenstein" "prints" the signature looks like he forgot how to spell his name.
They do very nice re-prints. But these pictures are not authentic. I received a picture that was supposedly from 1985. It was brand new with no sign of wear, and was stamped on back with gallery, including email address. Email address in 1985? When you look into the email address, you will see that it is a godaddy address started 3 years ago. If you are looking for a beautiful reprint, this is a good place to get it. However, if you are looking for an authentic work of art, this is not your place.
These prints are not Original Prints authorized by the artist. These are copies of prints from the Royal Palace Gallery.their own line of prints if you will. They will give you a certificate with a picture of the artists work on it. Included on the certficate is Royal Palace authentication that the artist, serial number and signature are original and a certified authentic piece. Furthermore, the work itself will have a pressed stamp of authentication embroidered into the paper. This in fact is all smoke and mirrors. What Royal palace is doing is certifying that their line of prints (copies) are authentic and original because they themselves printed them - they are "original" reprints of a print. Thats why the are so cheap. I hope you understand the difference. Good day.
Royal Palace Gallery sells counterfeit prints of Warhol, Miró, Lichtenstein, Picasso and more. Easily find prints in the $100 range with fake signatures and unauthorized use of prints all on eBay. You’ve been warned (or ripped off) These should cost thousands of dollars, not less than $100.
