I have used Ruben's in Fuengirola for years. The man there was always polite, efficient and helpful. However, this trip he has not been there. I have 2 issues now, one very serious. There are 2 women there now, one told me she is Romanian and the other I presumed to be Spanish.
1) Tried to book a trip to Ronda. Neither women knew about the pickup points in Torreblanca, they were very vague as to where we would get on the coach and very vague for the pick up time too. We didn't book it, they weren't bothered.
2) I handed over £300 to change into Euros. The "Spanish" woman took it off the counter and put the money down underneath where I couldn't see it. She asked me how much. I said £300. She counted it under the counter again where I still couldnt see itand said no, it's £200. I argued. She didnt show me the money again. I called my husband. We argued but it was her word against mine. She still insisted i gave her £200. She effectively stole £100 from me! We will NEVER, EVER go there again.
*I have since changed money elsewhere - the money is never touched before asking me how much is there. It is always counted in front of me where I can see it.
I am OUTRAGED this woman stole from me when she is In a position of trust. I am not a one-off tourist. Our family live locally and we return often.
I WOULD WELCOME A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER. I am telling everybody what happened to me at Rubens Fuengirola! I am so very upset.

I know they sell tickets for trips around Costa Del Sol but we use them for money exchange. Very friendly and professional people at easy to find locations. I doubt you'll get a better exchange rate anywhere. Highly recommended.

Do not buy any trips with this place. It is a complete scam. We booked dsy trip to tangier and we got to spend 14 hours travelling and only 1 HOUR in tangier. We brought to an awful restaurant for the "free meal" a tiny 200ml bottle of water was 4pound and a 500ml bottle of wine was 25. The food was horrendous. Then the brought us to a rug store and cosmetics store where they are really pushy and aggressive to get you to buy their goods. One of the guides was so rude and shouted at us like we were children. The whole experience was honestly terrible and im not someone who wants luxury just to see a few sights n not get ripped off.

If you are going to aqua park get your tickets here, good savings, very helpful gentleman who work her.

Bought an absolutely horrendous excursion to Tangier from here. We were not shown any sights of the city, were taken around a few back streets of Tangier that smell like pee and a loads of shops where all the guides were interested is making us spend money (pushing us to spend money!) Will not recommend buying excursions from here.
This place should make sure that its travel partners sell genuine excursions and not a load of poo. We were not shown a single sight in Tangier apart from one market (where sellers follow you until you buy something) and a mosque that was closed so we couldn't go inside.
What a rip off! I want my money back

Best money exchange rates in the area - don't use your hotel! You can also book trips to Gibraltar, Sevilla, Granada etc from here as well as local excursions, the Crocodile park and the Bioparc. Strangely, free Diaries, free sweets and a table full of free spirits are also available. Help yourself - try the Osborn rum!

I had the pleasure to visit Rubens in Fuengirola recently to exchange what I thought was a large amount money. We arrived 10 minutes before shop closure and were treated royally, proffessionally and with very clear advice on everything. My sincere thanks for everything you did for my wife and I.

Brilliant place, friendly and helpful people from my experience over the last 2-3 years. The exchange is situated in a very convenient position 200 metres from the large out door car park next to the harbour where we have always found plenty of spaces. You can even get a coffee and Haircut in the same square (no! Not in the same shop)
