Really beautiful well run club. Welcoming to non members. The buffet breakfast is amazing and reasonably priced. Full English, toast, juice and coffees etc

Top quality golf course. Was better before they modified the old course. Now it's a bit like many other golf courses in the Costa del sol

One of the most bunker-heavy courses on the Costa, making this quite a chalkenging track. It is in pretty good nick, although a couple of greens are a little patchy.

Very nice golf club with 2 courses. Nice restaurant with amazing terrace. Can absolutely recommend it.

I have played San Roque for many years and have brought many groups to play. No more never again. Our group had over 1500 Euros stolen from three golf bags. They never warned our group about thefts at their club and the president of the club would nothing about it. In addition the bunkers were unplayed, not raked and hard as cement. Lots of great courses around Sotogrande no need to waist your money at San Roque.

Our group has been to San Roque New for many years and had set the expectation of the course very high to our new members this year. What a shocking disappointment it was this year with the tees, fairways and greens completely starved of water. Almost all greens had large bare patches and in one green we found a mushroom growing. Later we found out that the Government had restricted the water supply and it was obvious that whatever water was used had been on the Old course, which looked as good as ever.
The really sad thing was that the club continued to take our money without a whisper coming from Golfbreaks ahead of our visit. This was unforgivable especially as we also learned that the members were only being charged annual fees for the Old course and not for both courses as they would have been and a party at our same hotel were given the chance to switch to the New course for a €30 premium ahead of their visit.

En el New Course, los greenes destrozados y calles totalmente descuidadas. Una vergüenza el precio del green fee para un campo en esas pésimas condiciones.

Hace algunos años dirigí el hotel, una pena como está hoy en día, un proyecto muy bonito que lamentablemente se avandonó, espero algún día verlo funcionando.
Por otro lado la casa club está fantástica, estuvimos comiendo y pasando el día, totalmente recomendable, personal amable y eficiente, y comida buena. Totalmente recomendable

Mark Emery, the 'golf pro' here tries to get in all the womens pants. Real reputation apparently. Including my wife! Not happy. They need to employ someone who actually is a professional. Shame when women can't have lessons without being hassled by the person they're paying!

Incredible experience. Extremely well organized and a warm, friendly welcome from Ramón, had our range balls waiting for us in our bays after loading up the buggies and told us everything we needed to know about the course. Very well maintained installations, nicely decorated clubhouse and a well stocked and reasonably priced pro shop. We played the new course for a very reasonable price, considering the area and prestige of the club. The greens could be improved but they were still nice to play on, GUR could also be marked better as there was contradicting information on some holes (i.e. Sinkhole fenced off, marked with white OB posts and a red hazard paint line but no blue posts/paint). The only real negative we had were the buggies unfortunately, out of the two we had one had a broken GPS (could only see overview so no distance readings) and the other kept cutting power due to the GPS thinking it was off the path in restricted areas which slowed the game down, the staff member I informed about the problem noted down the buggy numbers to have them looked at so happy with how it was dealt with. Looking forward to our next trip down!

Für mich einer der schönsten Golfplätze an der Costa del Sol.
Man muss sich den Platz mal gönnen. Bestes Service beim Empfang, perfekter Pflegezustand am Platz und traumhafte Küche und wunderschöne Terrasse zum Chillen danach. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter im ganzen Club. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank für das tolle Service.)

El centro Ecuestre que hay es increíble, tengo la suerte de ir casi a diario y es increíble.

Unfortunately I have to give one star to leave a review. But in reality it deserves no stars! Shame on you for even charging to play this goat track. Would not recommend even if I was paid to do so.

We played both courses this week. Following the changes to the Old Course, we believe the New Course is now Number 1. The greens are tired but run true. Fantastic layout.
The Old Course; Oh dear what have they done. The great water holes 6,11,12 17 &18, have gone! Bunkers have disappeared. Fabulous condition but much easier. Such a shame. Course now 3*. New Course would be 5 * except for the greens. Hopefully the club will get these back to top condition. Friendly staff.

Had a lovely day playing the newly refurbished Old course, greens amazing, some of the best in Spain, staff where wonderful, the whole experience was superb.

Comimos en el restaurante q hay en la casa del club, una experiencia magnífica, trato muy agradable y profesional, nos dejamos aconsejar por la chef Cristina y fue un acierto, platos muy trabajados a la vez q delicados, alta cocina, sin duda un imprescindible

Played the New Course, condition wasn't as good as it usually is. Golf buggies are top the line with touch screen Course display to help with your game and on screen scorecard. Service from staff at the bag drop off point was great, driving range is great and overall a very enjoyable day out.

Lugar muy agradable y tranquilo lo mejor el servicio los camareros y camareras son lo mejor del lugar

4 stars for the golf. 5 stars for the clubhouse. The New course I believe is consistently better than the Old. Nice bar, great sitting on the patio after golf with a cold beer and olives, although I remember when you got snacks as a standard. 2 to 3 stars for golfing staff who are possibly the least friendly we have met in 20 years. Doesn't cost to smile and be friendly to your customers.

El campo increible aunque dificil. El restaurante con precios desorbitados aunque son muy amable.

El Old Course es un espectacular campo de golf, se ha colado de golpe en mi top 10! Tiene grandes hoyos, técnicos, bonitos, exigente.lo tiene todo. Altamente recomendable.

Expected a course in better condition for 120eur without buggy. Otherwise fairly generous course that doesn't overly punish wayward shots.

Estuve en una boda, con lo cual sólo puedo clasificar el acto, estuvo muy bien y bien atendido, Pero como todo el mundo puede suponer las clasificaciones de una boda depende de lo que te gastes, el lugar muy bonito y interesante. Y paralelo a un campo de golf. Recomendable para eventos.

Un sitio con mucho encanto. Todo con mucho detalle. Los camareros eran muy profesionales y simpáticos

Uno de los mejores campos de España. Jugué el old, con mis amigos Pepe Domingo Castaño, Jorge Armenteros y Ramón Pons.

Maravilloso campo y club de golf. Lo pasé estupendamente en sus divertidos y variados hoyos. El personal encantador. Tenéis que ir a conocerlo
