Scruffy Murphy's

Esperé más de una hora y media para que el personal del bar de comida fuera muy grosero al hablar con ellos.
Es una pena que nos encante encontrar un buen bar y habíamos planeado venir a desayunar y cenar, pero la comida y el servicio son muy malos.

"Gerente" tuvo problemas con nosotros tratando de hablar sobre la música. No recomendaría este bar, ¡definitivamente no es un bar irlandés!

Went in for an Irish breakfast, which looked nice to be fair, but didn't get chance to sample it. The waitress was rude and unhelpful with poor customer service and communication skills. Shame really.

Avoid the pies! The pastry is soggy, as if cooked in a microwave! The staff are Brits and Irish, and yet they serve the most disgusting soggy pastry! They ought to know better, and we all left the uneatable gooey pastry on our plates! For 8.5 Euros it was a complete rip off!

42 for breakfast, gave a 50 note and had to ask for the change back after 10 minutes. Never had a restaurant assume they were getting a 20% tip and kept the change

Very ignorant people serving, they gave me the wrong breakfast and was told to wait after been served left for 10 mins before it was even changed, and for the seating area there's nothing but fly's.

First time there. Great Irish bar with lovely helpful staff and service. We will be back here again.

Not allowed sing and whatever you do make sure you don't spill a coffee. Barmaid rude and manager/owner very aggressive. If I could give it zero I would.

Staff and owners are wonderfully pleasant. They don't put up with overly-inebriated nincompoops that spill three coffees in a row and wonder why they are being refused further service.such as those associated with the negative comment below.

We went in here every night of our holiday, lovely staff especaily shane and sarah always snacks on the table, lovely atmosphere wish we could be there for saint patricks day, we will be back

Es un bar con una decoración que te hace sentir muy confortable, las luces en invierno muy acogedoras, un snack con tu consumición (pocos bares lo hacen en la zona) las sillas cómodas y espacio entre mesas. El servicio muy agradable en el trato, da gusto encontrar sitios así. Muy recomendable, yo personalmente repetiré durante mi estancia en Benalmádena

En este lugar solo se habla inglés. Scruffy Murphy's is a good Irish place for having a meal in Benalmádena. Great prices, nice place and nice food. Onion rings are a must. This place serves Guinness and other Irish beers. Good price/quality value. Not a good place for foodies though. Waitresses makes the difference.

Comida asquerosa, pedimos unas hamburguesas quemadas.mira que es difícil hacer mal un simple hamburguesas.
Las camareras no están pendientes, tardan mucho en servir, traerte la cuenta.
Falta de higiene.
No lo recomiendo para nada

Main street, very comfortable, see through cover from autumn breezes.we met a hen party from Gloucester there. 2nd visit, well nice.

Friendly staff. Food is excellent. Lebu the cook is fantastic. All the staff could not have been more helpful. We ate here nearly every day, sometimes twice and enjoyed many drinks throughout the day. Would highly recommend anyone to visit here

Typical irish pub. Food good but expensive for the area. Good variety of British beers, but again pricey. Service was slow.

Food was fantastic, waited a whole cos busy but arrived piping hot. Good size portions and excellent value for money. Staff polite and helpful, even said was not available before we ordered

Food is always cooked to perfection, we've been there 5 times and loved it every time! The decor is very retro/ interesting. Music is great. Dogs allowed on the terrace. Staff very friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

We popped in just before closing and had a G&T and a glass of Red wine. Prices reasonable staff friendly.maybe a better vibe earlier on in the evening.

La verdad, no m suelo queedar muy bien con los nombres de ños platos indios pero en la carta el num44.es cordero en salsa con un poco de pique.está súper bueno.la cerveza cobra (india) también me gustò. El personal amable y atento.el restauranteuy humilde

Being from Ireland, it felt like home. The full Irish breakfast was very good. Good quality ingredients and the tea was lovely. Efficient, friendly service. Was nice n quiet as it was mid morning.

A quick pint and chips outside in the sunshine. Staff were a bit over run on a busy Saturday. Frozen Chips with black eyes left in them and 2 drinks. €10. Inside looked cozy to have a few drinks some other time

Amazing place to have familiar home food, great customer service and very friendly and helpful. Good quality and well priced. Definitely recommended.

Been here twice for a great tasty Irish breakfast one day the sun kept his hat on an it poured down for a couple of hours but hey your well catered for here friendly smiling young guys run it an do a cracking job at that

Only two times here, but one of the best fish and chips I’ve had.

Second visit, fish is still great. Jacket potato was boiled not baked, giving it a glutinous texture and less flavor. Shepherds Pie not very good.

Aunque tardaron en servirnos, el servicio fue amable. Al lado hay un contenedor de basura que no es muy agradable si la brisa sopla hacia tu lado.

The breakfasts are excellent however the time you have to wait is ridiculous and being ignored by the staff is never pleasant

Lovely place staff very friendly and food was delicious and very reasonably priced fed and watered myself the wife and 14yr old for less than €45 and dlet stuffed would highly recommended this place and will be going back.

Not eaten here, but had a few drinks here a couple of times, barman who was on at the time not very friendly but waitress and waiter very friendly

Nice pub and food. Slowest response ever and no smiles from staff. Took 5 minutes to order a drink, 15 to order breakfast after we waved someone over and in the end skipped any cocktails as we had to pay for the bill at the till because the waitress was only interested in taking more orders

Came here a couple of years ago when we stayed in the area, food and service was amazing so we thought we would try again this time around.
Firstly we were sat on a table outside, almost in the middle of the road, had people walking past bumping into the back of me. We were warned before sitting that the wait on food would be 30-45 minutes, we didn't realise that this would be the same for drinks and for the wait of actually having our order taken, after the long wait for our food the starters were mediocre, then an even longer wait for the main courses, we were disappointed to see that in this time another large group had been seated, served, and finished desserts well before we got our mains. Main courses arrive, burgers were undercooked, chicken was over cooked, some meals were missing ingredients stated on the menu. We decided after this that the dessert was a no go. Drinks were about the only thing half decent, until my own an my sisters second round of cocktails came, mine tasted like something that came from underneath the kitchen sink and hers didn't contain any alcohol. Felt sorry for the poor waitress as she was the only person working. If it's that busy then maybe business should hire more staff and the quality of food and service may be a higher standard, very disappointed and disgusted, will never come again.

Good drinks at a reasonable price with good music to accompany it. Overall a relaxed and nice place to have a drink. Would recommend sitting in the inside section though to prevent getting bothered by lucky lucky men

The sevice was lovely. Me and my partner both had a Scruffy Murphy Burger which is 2 homemade burger patties, bacon, cheese, onion rings, salad and chips. I can say this was definitely the tastiest burger I have ever eaten, very reasonable prices too.
