He tenido el privilegio de montar en docenas de países a través de magníficos paisajes, pero estos caballos son otra cosa. Valiente, fuerte, carismático, lleno de personalidad y bellamente educado. Con paso seguro y gran corazón, nos llevaron por caminos rocosos, bosques de pinos, campos abiertos, pueblos encalados, más y más lejos del estrés y la charla de nuestras vidas urbanas. Las vistas son hermosas, por supuesto. Pero sobre todo, estas montañas resuenan con una profunda sensación de serenidad. Cada noche nos derrumbamos en camas sencillas y limpias y dormimos como bebés. Cada mañana nos despertábamos con un delicioso desayuno con tomates que en realidad sabían a tomates. Dallas nos guió de manera experta, compartiendo la historia de esta tierra mientras prestaba mucha atención a la seguridad y comodidad tanto de los jinetes como de los caballos. Simplemente disfrutamos el momento, disfrutamos de nuestros caballos, disfrutamos de la vista, disfrutamos de la comida. Hágase el favor de presionar ese botón de reinicio también. ¡La aventura de tu vida! Hermosos paisajes de montaña, senderos variados, hermosos picnics y, lo más importante, caballos maravillosos y felices. La escapada a caballo de 3 días de El Sulayr con Dallas Love es una experiencia increíble. La excelente organización de Dallas y sus colegas significa que todo lo que necesita hacer es subirse a la silla y disfrutar de las vistas y las melenas que rebotan. ¡Muy recomendable!

We loved our ride with Dallas. She takes great care of the horses, the landscapes of Sierra Nevada are incredible and we had good fun on our two hour ride.

I went for a 3 hour ride today and it was amazing! The horses are very calm and brave and Dallas and the other people were very friendly. There was a lot of attention paid to the horses and they are in very good shape. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to ride in the Sierra Nevada.

I rode on the seven day Alpujarras Ride in May 2022. Beautiful terrain, good horses, great food, and knowledgeable guides. I really enjoyed the trip, and highly recommend riding with Dallas and her outfit!

What an incredible holiday! We had a fabulous week long trail ride through the stunning scenery of the Alpujarras. As a family of 4 (children 11 & 14) Dallas made sure that we were well matched with our mounts and was extremely thoughtful and patient with us all. The horses were superb- sure footed, responsive and in great condition. Each day we enjoyed a wonderful picnic made by Dallas who is clearly a great cook. This experience has created life long memories for us all. Must also mention the lovely Jeanette who met us at the airport and ensured everything behind the scenes ran smoothly.

We rode with Dallas for a day in early Jan, she is a superb guide, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and has fantastically maintained horses. The trail was incredible and she was a great company. We could not recommend Sierra Trails more.

I had a great experience, and I highly recommend this stable if you’re looking for a place to ride near the Barranco De Poqueira pueblos. The horses are beautiful and fun to ride, and the trails and views are gorgeous. Dallas and Mordecai were the trek leaders (I only did one day but the rest of the group did 4 days), and they were great, very professional and personable. They have rides from a couple hours to multiple days, so there’s something for every level rider, and it’s a fantastic way to see La Alpujarra.

Best and most impressive riding holiday I've ever made. Great and happy horses, professional organization, marvelous landscapes. And last but not least very good food!

I went for the one week Alpujarra trail two weeks ago and everybody I meet now has to suffer from my endlessly talking about it with shining eyes. I join the other guests in praising the organisation, hotels and overall experience. Just some additional remarks.
The horses: whatever Dallas tells you about their breed, there is at least one third mountain goat in each of them. Incredible how they climb up and down those paths.
The food: Honestly, the kilo I gained is all muscle and has nothing to do with the spanish breakfast, the tasty picknicks, the wine, the superb dinners. Did I mention the wine?

I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic - i've ridden in a few places in Spain and this was the most enjoyable in every way -I'm hoping to go back soon.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our magnificent day’s horse riding experience, exploring the beauty of the mountain range above & beyond Capileira in the unspoiled & wild Alpujarras. Our lovely guides, Jeanette, Lisa & Hilde were very skilled & friendly & provided us with well cared-for horses, suited to our ability. A delicious freshly prepared lunch, home-made by Dallas, the owner of the business, was an added treat!
Highly recommended.
