Simbad Beach -Restaurante y Cocktail Bar

La ubicación es increíble y tuvimos una gran mesa.
Los camareros eran fantásticos y la comida era excelente.
Sin embargo, un par de cosas básicas decepcionaron al lugar:
1. No hubo papel higiénico en los baños durante toda la noche, lo que significa que nadie estaba revisando.
2. Nadie reconoció nuestra llegada durante al menos 10 minutos. Nos quedamos esperando en el escritorio.
En general, definitivamente lo recomendaría, pero me gustaría que el restaurante conociera las oportunidades de mejora mencionadas anteriormente.

Disfrutamos muchisimo de la cena, con unas vistas espectaculares. Me encantó la música, el ambiente y la comida. El servicio fue muy rápido y eficiente, pero le quito una estrella por que nos atendió una chica que no tenía ni remota idea del español (entiendo que hay muchos turistas, pero aun así) y el mail de confirmación de reserva también me llegó sólo en inglés, lo cual me indigna. Otro punto es que los langostinos a la plancha son en realidad cocidos y pasados por la plancha brevemente.

Sorry, all years before it was excellent, but meanwhile no more than before! Quality of food went down and prices up!
2 times reclamation did not help, uneatable Calamaris.
90% of all desks were blocked by reservation, even 3 and more hours later.with no guests!
Sorry, that is not the way to serve and keep your guests! Bye and never again is my warning to friends and in social media!

Buen sitio, servicio genial, mi comida.tengo que decir que ha sido uno de los peores entrecotes que he tenido. Hecho a la plancha con aceito, la carne no ha sido maduro, textura mal y sin sabor a nada.próximo, si hay una, pruébare una ensalada.eso no puedo fallar.

Buena comida, servicio bueno aunque un poco lento precio acorde a chiringuito a pie de playa con muy buenas vistas al mar.

Lovely setting. However, because of a misunderstood order, my 2nd course must have been rushed; as i'd cooked vedgetables still cold in the center, suggesting frozen origins.

We decided to visit as we haven't been for over 3 years. It has been done up nicely and has a nice ambience for lunch. The food wasn't as good as it was and the price has gone up, as expected, a shame as you don't mind paying more when the quality is good. The Sardines were lovely, the fish skewers were both overcooked and came with frozen vegetables! No excuse for tasteless frozen veg not at €21. Service was good when you could get their attention.

I recommend booking and maybe asking for something to replace the frozen vegetables if you are unlucky enough to have them as a side.

I have tried to book for over a week but the phone inbox is full and there has even no reply to WhatsApp messages. There must be a change of management. So I have given up.

Was empty at lunchtime so sterile atmosphere and staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Luckily it was only brief walk to Sugar Bay which was lovely with great staff!

Nice lunch, but at the moment to ask the waiter to swap the table to have another drink in one of the other tables she said is need to be clean for another client. I have spended 228,30€, I feel bad for that.

The place is very beautiful and the food is very good! Affordable price.but the service is horrible. Waiters pretend not to listen, they are poorly trained.to make reservation is not possible by call, only watsap.el lugar es hermoso y la comida es muy buena. Precio accesible.pero el servicio es horrible. Los camareros fingen no escuchar, están mal entrenados.no es posible reservar por teléfono, solo watsap.

Découverte au détour d’une balade, en apparence assez sympa comme endroit. On décide d’y manger… le repas de poisson était excellent MAIS…le service en dessous de tout. Serveurs pas du tout à la hauteur d’un tel établissement, ils ne vous proposent rien et ne vous remarquent pas. Nous avons attendu notre dessert 45 minutes, nous avons décidé de partir sans le prendre, quand tout à coup il nous a été apporté par deux jeunes « tire la gueule » comme rarement vu nulle part ailleurs. Donc oui pour la cuisine mais non pour le service et la sympathie.

Bleach club en primera línea de playa, casi sobre las olas. Terraza y comedor interior, muy agradable. Servicio esmerado, personal muy atento. Comida buena y cantidades correctas. Buena relación calidad/precio. Repetiremos.

This restaurant has a lovely position right near the beach. The views of the ocean are wonderful and is very relaxing. The food was very good, being here a couple times twice for lunch and once for dinner one evening. We had a very good Lobster Paella, Seafood spaghetti and grilled fish. So all good here. The menu was varied offering many choices.
My only complaint would be the service it can be patchy and slow, we found ourselves trying to get the waiters attention a few times which doesn't bode well with me and spoilt our experience to be honest. We will go back, however we now know the service can be slow.

Mediocre restaurant on the beach. Service was slow. Waiters and waitresses all over the place. Food was so so. I think for the price they charge and the quality you get you will get a better meal down the road at Ellen & Pepe's for less. Sorry Sinbad but it was not worth the money for the quality of service and food that was served to us as a party of 4.

We greatly enjoyed our meal here. Food is tasty, the portions are very generous and the service is attentive and friendly. The mixed paella was our favorite dish but the pil pil shrimps and seafood skewer were also amazing. All of the above were gluten free amongst other gluten free options available in the menu.

Lovely spot, called there whilst on holiday had a few drinks then had some food. Lovely Malaga Fried Fish dish and a goats cheese salad. Smashing service, would recommend, go.

Qualità ottima, ambiente raffinato e prezzo rapportato alla qualità. Appuntamento da non mancare se siamo nella zona di Marbella. Il posto è incantevole, specialmente la sera.

Service was OK for very busy. Food was and is very mediocre. No taste. You pay more for the location only. Plenty more places like this to choose from.

Very bice restaurant at the sea. Good food, reasonable prices, nice view, love the fish but not the pasta!

Vacances d'été à Mijas nous avons découvert cette petite plage peu fréquentée avec son restaurant qui surplombe la jolie plage.
Le restaurant est sympa (nous parlons très mal l'Espagnol mais heureusement une charmante serveuse qui parle très bien le français nous a expliqué la carte). La terrasse est moderne et joliement agencée (belle table avec nappe blanche et grands parasols blancs déportés, grands fauteuils confortables)

A must visit. Great for an evening, lovely decor, fantastic staff and exceptional food. Good for special occasions.

Lugar espectacular para ver anochecer los camareros super atentos hasta nos han dao unas mantitas para el frio en la terreza.

Always good food. Much bigger than this time last year, which surprised me. Whatever you do, don't lose that one to one because that's what makes this place so special

We have to come here each time we’re at the costa del sol to have the seashell paella. I really like the atmosphere of the beach bar and how nicely done up it is.

Magnifico restaurante en la playa, carta variada, cocina mediterránea. Muy amables, atentos y rápidos.

Service average, empty tables overlooking the beach but waiter refused access! Won't be going again

Went for lunch just had one drink and left for another venue. Overpriced and little atmosphere. Shame ad location great.
