Los profesores son excepcionalmente buenos, amables y divertidos. ¡El ambiente es encantador y estaba muy triste por haber reservado solo una semana!

¡Español en Cádiz es una maravillosa escuela de idiomas con excelentes profesores y excelentes instalaciones! Adquirí muchos conocimientos durante las cuatro semanas que pasé en el curso combinado de español. Los profesores son pacientes, amables, creativos y divertidos. Tu nivel de español se tiene en cuenta cuando te explican terminología y conceptos, y solo hacen la transición al inglés si todavía tienes problemas. El tamaño de las clases oscilaba entre 3 y 6 personas, ni demasiado pequeñas ni demasiado grandes. Aprenderás gramática y comunicación de diferentes profesores, lo que te permitirá acostumbrarte a diversas formas de hablar. Hay muchos eventos sociales para ir a conocer a otros estudiantes de diferentes clases y conocer la ciudad. Sugeriría esta escuela a cualquiera que quiera aprender español mientras se divierte.

Pasé una semana aquí en junio de 2023. Superó todas las expectativas; Profesores amables y muy buenos, excelente ubicación, clases pequeñas con el nivel justo. Aprendí mucho. También hay actividades organizadas, si eso es lo que te gusta. No puedo criticar el lugar y ¡volveremos!

Definitivamente recomiendo esta escuela. Estuve una semana en Cádiz y lo pasé genial. Los profesores eran muy profesionales, altamente cualificados y muy amables. La escuela está ubicada en un edificio acogedor en un barrio tranquilo. Aprendí mucho sintiéndome como si estuviera de vacaciones. Realmente fue una experiencia muy linda.

Muy divertido. Mis amigos y yo fuimos en verano de cuarto y quinto año y lo pasamos muy bien. The school is probably the best language school I have attended. Had three different teachers and they were all very professional and fun. Time flied during the lessons! Alessandro and all the staff were very welcoming. We students (from 18 to 70 years old) formed a nice international group and passed also some free time together. Would have liked to stay longer!

Have been attending lessons in a small group of international students for 2 weeks whilst staying in the inexpensive, shared accommodation in the centre of the Old City. I have enjoyed the flat 2km walk along the coast from the accommodation to the school. Lessons are fun, well organised and coordinated. A great team of professional teachers. Central accommodation has been great for my first visit to Cádiz

Very happy with my experience with SIC Cádiz. I went there on my own, a bit scared, without knowing the city or anyone. However, as soon as I arrived I felt welcomed and met amazing people (housemates in the residence and school staff). The staff is very professional, I felt I learnt a lot in only 1 week and for sure I will be back - I will keep doing lessons online while I am away. The teachers Carmen and Concha were super, always taught with passion and a bit of humour (learning with a laugh and sense of humour is always better!). Thanks also to Alejandra for being very detailed in each communication and super fast in replying to any email or concerns I had. See you soon:)

I can only recommend the school! I had the feeling that I learned a lot in one week, the classes have been fun and interesting and the teachers very well prepared and with a very nice sense of humour. I always had a smile on my face with them and I hope to return next year

¿Estas buscando una escuela para aprender español? Acabas de encontrarla . Este verano fue mi cuarta vez en la escuela S.i. C.con lo que me considero como una reincidente o ¿una adicta? Me he he contagiado del virus de S.i. C.y de Cádiz y espero que nunca haya vacuna contra este virus ;-). Aquí tienes lo que ofrece la escuela: un equipo devoto, muy profesional que comparte su pasión por su idioma, su país y su ciudad. Además de aprender mucho, vas a encontrar a gente abierta del mundo entero con la que descrubrirás los placeres y el encanto de Cádiz. Para los intérpretes, os aconsejo los cursos para intérpretes con un programa muy amplio, diverso y efectivo. ¡Y que no dejes escapar el programa extrascolar organizado por S.i. C.si quieres sumergirte en la verdadera vida de Cádiz!

I had had exellent recommendations from my interpreter colleagues about Spanish on Cadiz and my experience there perfectly met my expectations. I spent there 4 intensive weeks in August 2022 and enjoyed it all: the professionalism of the teaching staff, flexibility and smooth communication of the administration, not to mention clarity of information prior to my arrival. And above all - making the learning process fun. I will be back for more.

As far as teaching goes, I had great teachers and I warmly recommended it.
It's 4 instead of 5 stars because I had a few problems with my accomodation.

Spanish School in Cadiz was a wonderful experience for my son Oscar and his friends. He went with two friends last year and four this year.
The standard of teaching is second to none, the teachers are so accomplished and talented. The students are engaged and really inspired.
All the boys said they learnt more Spanish in the weeks they attended the Spanish School in Cadiz than all their time in school and had such great fun while learning.
The hosts families were so kind and welcoming.
The boys had delicious and nourishing homemade meals and were so well looked after.
As parents their was such peace of mind knowing they were with lovely, caring families.
The School is very professional and has very high standards, while being warm and understanding and maintaining excellent communication with the parents and taking great care of the boys, they couldn’t have done more for them.
Cadiz itself is a beautiful city and has so much to offer and it feels very safe and the Cadiz people are very friendly and great fun. All the boys fell in love with Cadiz and said they had the best of craic there, made great friends, loved the Spanish in Cadiz school and their teachers!
Also had a great time with the surfing and other activities organised by the school and enjoyed and appreciated staying with their lovely host families. They can’t wait to go back. I couldn’t recommend Spanish in Cadiz School more highly or Cadiz!

My son (17) spent three weeks in June studying with Spanish in Cadiz. He had the most amazing time. His teachers were welcoming, helpful and always happy to teach. His hostess (Pepi) was wonderful and her meals were 10/10! Great activities, lots of friends made and lots of Spanish learned. A special thank you to Alejandro and Borja who went out of their way to make it a very special stay.

Attended SIC for 2 weeks in July. I had just finished B1+ level doing private classes once a week here in Ireland so attended B2 class there. Fantastic school. My level of grammar is much higher than my conversational spanish (my spoken level was probably A2/B1 before going to the school) as I never get a chance to use it here in Ireland. If you want to improve your spoken Spanish this is the place. For the entire 2 weeks I spoke only Spanish with my classmates (even outside of class) and also at home with my wonderful host "Charo" (who looked after me like a son!). After 2 weeks I was able to speak fluently enough that it actually felt strange speaking English again when I went back home.
Activities are great and Cadiz is one of the coolest places you will ever visit.

Great place to learn Spanish. Solid knowledgable teachers, with great energy and a good sense of humor. Teaching process is good and a good blend of grammar and practice and you are encouraged and supported to progress. First contact on phone with Alejandro and you know the place is different - good difference.

Alejandro has been amazing to deal with throughout the whole process. So prompt and efficient and clear in replying to emails/queries. My daughter had an amazing two weeks and her Spanish improved significantly. She was also extremely happy with her host family. I would recommend this company 100%.

I spent 8 weeks studying at SIC (my initial plan was to be there for a month but I had to stay longer as I liked it so much).

The school has a great atmosphere, the teachers are excellent and I really enjoyed living with a Spanish family.

Also Cadiz is a gem. I want to return!

Spanish in Cadiz felt like a home away from home for me. Skilled and friendly teachers who helped me improve my Spanish lots in a short time. In addition to the excellent classes the school organises great social activities for all their students, which makes it easy to make new friends as well. They have created a very welcoming and personal atmosphere. Especially Alejandro has been nothing less than wonderful. If you are looking to improve your Spanish and have an amazing experience in one of Spains most beautiful cities I highly recommend Spanish in Cadiz!

An excellent school! Both very rigorous in terms of teaching and academic standards while being fun. The team is kind, open-minded (and they all have a great sense of humor!). They also make an extra effort to immerse students in contemporary Spanish and Andalusian culture. Cadiz provides an ideal setting to study Spanish: it is a welcoming beautiful city with great beaches. A wonderful experience!

This is a high quality language school with dedicated, friendly and responsive teachers and staff. Everyone here makes that extra effort to ensure an immersive, fun and satisfying stay. I made huge leaps in my ability to converse in Spanish and am hoping to go back to prepare for the Dele exams here as soon as I can. Cadiz is such a great place to learn - sun, sea, surf, Spanish!

A brilliant school. Alejandro and the team really looked after our son and his mates when they went there last summer. They had an absolute ball. They still speak of it as one their best learning experiences. No hesitation in giving the place 5 stars.

I spent two weeks at Spanish in Cadiz with the goal of improving my Spanish and enjoying the city. From my first interaction with the school via their website; to the responsive and complete interactions with the Chief Administrator, Alejandro Ulloa; and finally with the excellent instruction by Teachers Patricia and Borja, I couldn’t be more pleased. Being a language teacher previously myself, I can spot when an organization is the real thing and truly dedicated to your success. Spanish in Cadiz is such an organization exemplified by the professionalism and dedication to your journey by the teachers and staff. The interactions with the other students were also an unexpected delight. All and all it was a truly educational and fun experience. I plan to continue with SIC online until I can return to Cadiz in person. I recommend SIC very highly - 5 stars all the way!

My wife and I went for a 1 week intensive course with a 1 hour/day 1to1 extension.
We were ever so pleased with the handling of all aspects of the course all the way from arranging the course and the lodging during the course to getting a local dinning experience.
We had 4 different teachers which helped with learning different accents and different teaching styles.
The class size was small so that everyone got good attention from the teachers.
The 1 to 1 after helped to focus on those things learned in the regular class.
I would not hesitate to repeat an experience at Spanish in Cadíz!

I agree whole-heartedly with all the wonderful things reviewers here have already said about Spanish in Cadiz. I surveyed ~20 programs before I travelled to Spain, I attended one other intensive Spanish program while in Spain, and I swapped program stories with tons of other students while in Spain. Spanish in Cadiz came out the clear winner. I want to emphasize how exceptionally effective they are, as in, they're literally 2x more effective (as measured by student time in level) than other Cervantes Certified programs. How that's even possible makes sense immediately after you see their bespoke teaching materials or sit in your first class. Way to go SIC!

One week in the escuela "spanish in cadiz" - level A2 - in September 2021.
It was my first time in this school after being in Gadir (otro escuela) 4 times. Due to a one year break in attending classes, caused by the pandemic, I had to drop from B1 to A2. This was determined by a short online test with one of the teachers before my trip from Germany to Cadiz. But what a surprise to meet one of the teachers from my former school: Lolo.a very well structured grammar teacher, mixed with a good dose of humor and a talent for entertainment, which makes a lot of fun learning the necessary grammar points. The atmosphere in the small classroom was excellent and cheerful every day. After the lunch break, the conversation classes with Carmen were another highlight. She "forced" us to give a speech on the last day of the week introducing the country each of us came from. I am already looking forward to participating again next year, maybe then at B2 level? A school that can definitely be recommended.

The Spanish in Cadiz staff is amazing. During my time there the people there were very friendly, and yet professional. It is obvious that the professors, and the rest of the staff, love what they do. I’ve had an extremely good experience with this school, and i’m still very grateful for what they’ve taught me. I would recommend it to anyone!

I don't know where to start, but my experience here couldn't better.
From the atmosphere to the communication to the professors, to the location. Highly competent team and I felt always supported, no matter what questions I had. Thank you so much to my professors especially Borja and Carmen, it was a pleasure learning with you, and thank you Alejandro and Luis for the nice time together and for being very supportive! The lessons were fun, teachers were professional, the administration always helpful and flexible and there are cultural activities organized to complete the Cadiz experience. I'll be back!

It was a real great time in SIC, where I could Perfect spanish in a friendly and proffessional atmosphere. The course in SIC gave me the oportunity to understand, practice and enjoy the grammar, to practice the communication skills and to know and to better understand the spanish culture and history and also to preparare me to DELE. I had a great time At Spanish in Cádiz. The teachers are knowledgeable, explain everything well, super friendly, funny, engage in conversation, suggest vocabulary and helpful. The best language school you will find. I studied Spanish at S. I. C.for about three weeks and never regret it.
It was my first encounter with the Spanish language and thanks to Borja and Carmen a really good one.
In three weeks I nearly mastered Level A1 and was able to understand a lot.
The accommodation „la resiidencia“ is in the middle of the city so you can walk everywhere.
Luis and Alejandro, the owerns, are amazing and will help you out with everything you need.
Don‘t miss Tapas Night on Friday.

I have been studying Spanish with SIC for over a year now - a mix of in-person classes when I was based in Cadiz and then online after that. I cannot speak more highly of the organisation, the teachers and the quality of education. The level of lessons you receive is of the highest quality and the teachers are all serious educators. And on top of that they are the most kind, lovely and fun people to deal with who truly care about their jobs and students. Special shout out to my amazing teacher Carmen ️

I’m in my third week now in the intensive course and I love the school. I’m learning a lot, the teachers are lovely and dedicated and the atmosphere is pleasant because everyone is warm hearted and really funny. Very much recommended!

I can’t rate Spanish at Cadiz more highly! Classes for my daughter Kate in May were small, very effective and great fun. She really enjoyed the surfing classes and the beach activities daily. Her host family, especially Maria were absolutely wonderful and Cadiz itself is such a beautiful setting. ️ Finally, special thanks to Alejandro from SIC who put together this trip for Kate and all her friends from Dublin and for all his help with any queries along the way. So far, I have studied Spanish at Spanish in Cadiz for over 4 months. I have had a great experience and highly recommend this school.

Coming to the SIC during my gap year was one of the best decisions I've ever made, this may sound exaggerated but I'll explain why it isn't. The way they combine professionalism, good teaching and fun in this school is incredible. After spending 14 years in primary and secondary school I could really feel the difference in atmosphere and style of teaching between a normal school and the Spanish course I followed. The effectiveness of the classes, individual ones and in a group, is, as far as I know, unmatched. In a city like this, which is probably as close to paradise as you can get, the motivation you feel really helps you progress at high speeds. What would set Cádiz apart from other Spanish cities, for example Malaga, is the fact that your surroundings are completely Spanish; both in terms of culture and spoken language. All in all I would 100 percent recommend SIC because of the city, the teachers and the organization.

This residence could not be more centrally located in Cadiz’s old town; right next to the Mercado and the big Carrefour, near the bus stops where the buses stop to go to the new town, less than 20 minutes’ walk from La Caleta, opposite a big pharmacy and basically right bang on the middle of the high street shops, but more than that it is a friendly safe environment to be in. Staying here for an academic year as an English teacher working in a centrally located language school in Cadiz, it was incredibly convenient, I could choose to have my own private space in order to work or to live in a more communal way in the sociable international environment it provides through providing residence as an airbnb, as a residence for Erasmus student and of course as a residence for students studying at Spanish in Cadiz. Joaquin and Marion, the caretakers of the building took great care of us and the building and especially during the lockdown when Alejandro checked on us through WhatsApp and made to feel safe during this very intense time when for most people in Cadiz normal life had changed dramatically, and financial situation had also changed. Alejandro is kind and efficient in all regards. I highly recommend this residence.

I will miss the people and the place; 18 Calle Montanes a great deal.

Great combination out of fantastic teachers with outstanding (off-topic, e.g. History) knowledge, a good location close to the beach and just ten minutes from the city centre, and generally a familiar vibe provided through the administration.

The accommodation they provide is rather run down, but Marion makes the best out of it and hence makes it worthwhile (plus it's super cheap). Furthermore, they are able to handle even your most spontaneous requests (at least during off season)! Overall, a big thanks to the team!

I had 7 exeptional weeks in SIC! Lovely and motivated teachers, well planned courses, best equipment and a welcoming and open atmosphere! I would love to go back there!

The teachers are excellent and the environment is very welcoming. Plus, the location is ideal! I highly recommend this language school. I only had two months of classes, but I am looking forward to going back:)

I did nine days of tuition in March 2019. All but one of my classes were 'individual', so very intense but most worthwhile. The staff are friendly and helpful. Alejandro, the administrator, could not have been more efficient or helpful. I was pleased to be confirmed as 'nivel' B1 at the end of the course. I would definitely consider going back to Cádiz for more classes because the school is excellent, but furthermore the city is fascinating and the people are kind and friendly.

We can not say enough wonderful things about this school and staff! My husband and I have attended language schools in the past, but this was by far our favorite. Myself, my husband and our 2 kids (ages 7 and 11) attended classes for 1 month. The administrative staff was responsive and helpful in coordinating our specific needs prior to arrival and during our entire stay. The instructors were outstanding! They were incredibly knowledgeable of both the Spanish language (and multiple other languages) but also able to provide fascinating instruction on Spanish culture and history as well. Well prepared teachers, flexibly adapting the courses and teaching material to the needs of very different students, ranging from school groups through families with children to professionals such as interpreters. Very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

This is the second visit to this school for my husband and I, hopefully it won’t be the last. Teachers are very professional, they differentiate the work to meet needs of individuals. We have found all the staff to be friendly, supportive and patient. We highly recommend this school.
