Taller Flamenco

Excelente escuela de flamenco con cursos muy completos (baile, guitarra, cante, ritmo e incluso español) para todos los niveles.

Los profesores son muy amables, educativos y atentos a las necesidades de todos.

Las lecciones están perfectamente adaptadas y por tanto muy enriquecedoras.

Personalmente tomé clases de baile allí y especialmente de guitarra, lo que me ayudó a progresar enormemente.

Vengo a Sevilla varias veces al año y cada vez vuelvo a Taller Flamenco.

Lo recomiendo mucho para todo aquel que simplemente quiera descubrir el Flamenco o perfeccionar su práctica con profesores agradables y de muy alto nivel.

Viniendo de Canadá, mi amigo y yo tuvimos una experiencia extraordinaria con un curso de flamenco de una semana de duración. Recibimos una cálida bienvenida por parte de Eukene, que siempre está en la estación todas las mañanas. Las lecciones (técnica y danza) se adaptaron a nuestro nivel. Lourdes y Álvaro nos ofrecieron una enseñanza de calidad con mucho detalle y precisión. Cada uno de ellos logró transmitirnos su pasión con rigor y las ganas de que triunfemos.
¡Misión cumplida!
Otro detalle muy apreciado: un panel en recepción nos indica todos los días dónde son los espectáculos a ver y los eventos escolares. Una vez más Bravo y ¡hasta el año que viene!

Reservé una lección de flamenco individual para mi hija con Taller Flamenco. Amaba cada minuto. La maestra, la Sra. Lourdes, fue muy profesional y aunque no hablamos español, logró comunicarse con nosotros. En una hora y media le enseñaron a mi hija un baile de Allegrías. Tengo clases de guitarra flamenca durante dos semanas.
Yo era totalmente súper principiante.
Pero quiero aprenderlo.
Finalmente fue una buena elección.
Y es tan interesante y hermoso.
Si quieres, puedes aprender danza y lenguaje y canto.

Sonia es espectacular, hemos estado con ella en una clase de flamenco: se nos ha hecho corto, Sonia nos lo ha puesto muy fácil y hemos sacado una coreografía de profesionales, te entran ganas de apuntarte a flamenco todo el año con Sonia. Muchas gracias!

El nombre del profesor de flamenco masculino comienza con F y no respeta los límites del cuerpo de las alumnas, les pide a las alumnas que toquen su pecho en su espalda solo para sentir sus gestos con las manos, lo cual no es totalmente necesario.y una vez que lo rechazas, dice no te abres lo suficiente… también corriges la posición de tu cuerpo de una manera bastante grosera… otras chicas de nuestra clase también se sienten ofendidas por sus palabras…
Si no está seguro de que le gustará el curso, simplemente vaya por períodos de tiempo más cortos porque pase lo que pase, no le devolverán su dinero.
La lección de guitarra es agradable, otros profesores de flamenco son agradables, la lección de español solo puede ser adecuada para aquellos que tienen un conocimiento básico. En general, todavía tengo buenos recuerdos allí, solo quiero decir algo que pueda ayudar a las personas a elegir sabiamente.

J'y ai fait un stage de flamenco d'une semaine en février dernier et mon expérience a été inoubliable!
Le personnel de l'école est très gentil, accueillant et disponible. Ma professeure Carmen s'est totalement adaptée au niveau de notre groupe et c'était très stimulant.
Une immersion totale dans la culture flamenca.
Je compte probablement y retourner avec grande joie.

La oficina fue muy receptiva a las solicitudes de reserva por WhatsApp. Tan encantado de encontrar este lugar como he estado buscando un lugar como este durante muchas visitas a Sevilla. Lleno de otra información y opciones de flamenco. Muy muy recomendable.

Que gran experiencia! La profesora un 10. Fuimos un grupo de chicas, un finde semana en Sevilla, para una despedida de soltera y organizamos una clase de flamenco. La verdad es que fue genial. Nos dejaron los zapatos y faldas y a bailar! Se nos pasó la hora volando.y hubiermos hecho una hora más!
Seguro que si volvemos, repetiremos!

On a recent trip to Seville, I booked a class for my mother and I in flamenco compas (rhythm) and singing. From beginning to end, the process was a breeze. Eukene answered all my questions, Felipe taught us the beats, and Silvia the beautiful singing. It was an unforgettable experience that I'd recommend to anyone visiting Seville. Coming all the way from Australia and not knowing much Spanish, the team at Taller took such good care of me. They are warm, patient and talented Flamenco teachers! Really recommend.

Wow great experience! The teacher Javier was amazing! We learned the rhythm of the flamenco with claps and a Cajun. We came as a couple for an hour and half and enjoyed every minute. The hole day we where calpping and knowing on the tables

What a great experience we had! Going beyond attending the amazing flamenco shows, the workshop allowed us to get a flavour of the rhythms and beating heart of seville and the flamenco tradition. Felipe was a gracious, generous and articulate teacher and we managed to laugh, concentrate and above all feel a part of the music and this place. Bravo Felipe, mucho amor y gracias.

Je recommande chaleureusement cette école pour l’apprentissage du flamenco. Excellents professeurs, pédagogues très formés, pros de la scène et absolument adorables. En une semaine de cours intensifs, j’ai appris énormément! Je suis prête à y retourner dès que possible.

Nous avons eu en plus la chance de les accompagner a Hidalgos pour le voir dans la peña local en train de danser et chanter le flamenco.

I’ve spent two weeks here during the Estaciones Flamencas and Fin de semana courses, and it was wonderful. I’ve learnt so much in such a short time thanks to the amazing teachers and the amount of classes! Communication with the school was always easy, fast and super helpful. It was my first time in Sevilla and the first time dancing flamenco somewhere other than at home, and I could not have imagined it any better!

Un gran lugar para aprender a bailar flamenco… no solo me enseñaron desde lo más básico de la técnica… también nos sumergieron en el alma flamenca sugiriendo eventos para conectar con esta cultura. Me encantó que me facilitaron la vida consiguiendo el lugar de residencia y los horarios más cómodos para aprovechar el baile en la mañana y poder disfrutar de Sevilla el resto del día… quedé muy contenta con esta escuela!

I started learning Flamenco during lockdown via Zoom. I was the first student Taller Flamenco had via zoom but I had no idea - everything was very professional.

I've tried group and private lessons and would recommend private lessons as you get much more focused attention.

The team are lovely to deal with. Excellent (and patient) teachers - I especially recommend Lourdes and Carmen - and Leticia and the management team are helpful and responsive.

If you want to practice your Spanish you can, but there is help in English if you need it.

The cost is fair for the excellent service you receive.

If you are interested in learning Flamenco from overseas then look no further!

I just finished the "Estaciones Flamencas" for dance and Spanish and I absolutely loved every moment. The staff and teachers were genuinely kind and accommodating, and all the services and events were convenient and fun. It was such a pleasure to immerse myself in flamenco and Sevillan life and I will always recommend Taller Flamenco as the best place to start.

Great school. Professional teachers, and love the effort they put into the class. The class was in Spanish, which I don’t speak but I was still able to follow the class (sometimes help of the students who do speak Spanish). I highly recommend it and would definitely come back for another flamenco course (and maybe a Spanish course ;)

This was my first time at Taller Flamenco and I'm already making plans to return. The dance classes were top notch, the Spanish classes were surprisingly fun and interesting, and the overall vibe of the place is super friendly and supportive. I started with one week of dance classes and ended up staying for 3 more!

I originally started with a one week beginners spanish course but ended up doing another week because I enjoyed it so much. The teacher Rebeca was really engaging in her class and made a really relaxed environment which was good as I was a bit nervous. But she made it really fun and her way of explaining things is very clear and I learned a lot. Would really recommend!

1h lesson of Flamenco, we were totally beginners. We had great fun and in 1h our we also learnt a small coreography.

Fantastic lessons with great instructors for an even better price. The staff is composed of spectacular members who are very dedicated to making the best experience possible. They will cater to your needs and your availability.

An amazing school - I took over 40 hours of classes with 7 different teachers, and every minute was an incredibly rewarding experience! As a music educator and professional musician, it takes a lot for me to be impressed by another teacher. That being said, every teacher greatly impressed me - there level of expertise and mastery of their respective crafts in Flamenco, always friendly and supportive demeanor, and commitment to making sure I learned the material to the fullest extent in each lesson made for an educational experience I will always fondly remember. The school staff were also wonderful, and always happy to help answer any questions or concerns I had, while also providing great info on places to visit in Spain. If you are planning on visiting Seville, this school is a place you must check out, even if you only take one class!

This place is just great! Would love to give them more than 5 stars. I had Flamenco classes for 2 weeks and every teacher I had was just amazing. Especially Felipe! I‘ve learned a lot and I‘m totally thankful for this experience I madey. I would love to come back as soon as I can.

If you're planning to book a Spanish course here make sure you speak Spanish already. I did a beginners course and it was horrible because my teacher almost didn't speak English. How can she teach me something if she doesn't even speaks basic English.

Excellente ecole tres bien située dans laquelle nous avons été tres bien acceuillies. L endroit est vraiment ideal pour decouvrir la culture flamenca et les professeurs ont le plaisir de transmettre leur art. Je recommande vivement.

Prenotato online una lezione di flamenco per tre persone a 90 euro in tutto. Nonostante fossimo principianti e non parlassimo spagnolo l'insegnante è riuscita a farci fare i passi base e concludere con una piccola coreografia. È possibile anche noleggiare scarpe e gonna per sentirti quasi una ballerina!

Taller Flamenco is a great school. I do not live in Spain and where I live there are no teachers of flamenco guitar. I am not exactly a beginner at flamenco guitar techniques, more like an intermediate self-taught level, yet the guitar teacher was able to spot and correct many of my mistakes and most importantly he gave me study targets to accomplish and passed me a plan/way of study to follow during the year while I, unfortunately, will be away from Sevilla. The mood in the school is friendly and unconventional. Do not miss the weekly pub meetings with teachers, students and flamenco aficionados and friends. My stay was definitively worthwhile and I hope to do it again in the future (especially during Bienal festivals!). Highly recommended.

Tremendous place. I had some excellent guitar lessons with Manuel and my wife really enjoyed learning the basics of Flamenco dancing with Carmen. Our Spanish lessons with Xavier were also really good. Friendly and helpful staff, too. Highly recommended.

Cette école est le passage obligé si vous voulez ajouter le sel et le poivre nécessaires à votre séjour à Séville. J'y suis des cours à chaque fois que je descends. Danse, guitare, palmas, espagnol: j'ai presque tout essayé. Les cours sont de grande qualité à un prix abordable. La fréquentation est internationale, et les langues parlées sont l'anglais et l'espagnol. Vous devrez donc faire l'effort de pratiquer une langue étrangère si vous voulez y faire des rencontres intéressantes. Nous y avons rencontré des gens de tous horizons, et avons passé avec avec eux des moments formidables.

I spent 3 weeks learning guitar under the school, and it was quite honestly some of the best time I've spent in my life. Extremely affordable and extremely educational experience.

Super semaine à Taller Flamenco Séville! A refaire très prochainement, vraiment! C'est beaucoup de travail, mais les professeurs sont sympas et très professionnels, et en plus ils sont excellents dans leur domaine. J'ai pu ainsi travailler la guitare et les compas/palmas dans de très bonnes conditions, en cours particuliers "à la carte" qui m'ont permis d'améliorer mes points faibles. J'ai pris aussi des cours d'espagnol: classe en petit comité, à l'ambiance amicale et décontractée mais studieuse. Perfecto! Le personnel (directeur et secrétaires) sont eux aussi très gentils et font tout pour le bien-être et l'information des étudiants. Le logement mis à disposition était idéalement situé à 2 minutes de l'école, la maitresse de maison à la fois discrète et serviable. Bref, vraiment un plaisir d'étudier dans ces conditions, dans cette école à l'atmosphère familiale et dans ce quartier vivant de la vieille ville (mais sans la cohue de celui de la cathédrale). J'y retournerai régulièrement.

I took a week of guitar lessons here and had a great time! My only regret is that I only did a week and not longer. Everyone was friendly and my teacher was excellent. When I arrived I was given a pamphlet with more Flamenco events to choose from than I could ever go to.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the rental guitars here aren’t in the best condition, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. If I were taking lessons for longer than a week, I’d probably rent or buy elsewhere.

Cette école est géniale.les professeurs sont fantastiques, ouverts et à l'écoute des élèves. C'est la première fois que j'y allais. Je suis restée un mois là bas. J'ai tout fait: danse, guitare, compas et espagnol!:) tout était tellement super, je ne pouvais pas m'arrêter. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à qui veut apprendre le flamenco et l'espagnol. L'ambiance est très conviviale. On y rencontre des gens du monde entier. Et Séville est une ville merveilleuse. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.
