He alquilado material durante medio día y Miguel ha sido super super majo conmigo! Fue amable, acogedor, mostró interés en mi práctica de kitesurf para asegurarse de darme el mejor material. Incluso me abrió un nuevo arnés para satisfacer mis preferencias del tipo que quería. Me dio dos tamaños de ala para estar seguro de que podía cambiar si el viento aumentaba.

Es súper honesto, habla bien inglés y es paciente. ¡Chico impresionante!

Está en el juego a largo plazo y ha demostrado repetidamente que tiene en mente la calidad adecuada para mi situación.

Compré varios artículos en esta tienda. El propietario fue muy útil, p.al mostrarme cómo montar nuevos accesorios en mi arnés, y se tomó el tiempo para enseñarme cómo recortar mis líneas.

Además, en solo 1,5 semanas, tuve la desafortunada coincidencia de que se produjeran varios daños en mi equipo, y él me aconsejó muy bien sobre cómo manejarlo, si mi material aún valía la pena y qué tener en cuenta.
Las reparaciones se realizaron de forma rápida, cualitativa y a un precio justo.

El propietario a veces aconseja cosas de otras marcas/tiendas que ni siquiera son estrictamente para su propio beneficio, porque tiene en mente sobre todo su disfrute por el deporte.

Es realmente apasionado, así que sé amable con él y seguro que recibirás esa vibra a cambio, ¡cuadriplicada!

El propietario también es instructor de Kite/Wave/Wing/SUP con mucha experiencia en varios países, por lo que cuando hables sobre tu material, estará encantado de darte toneladas de pequeños consejos técnicos para practicar en tu próxima sesión.

Por cierto, esta tienda es la única que encontré que vende gafas de sol para surf de la marca más asequible 'Blow' (mientras que todas las demás tiendas venden casi exclusivamente 'Ocean', que tienen un coste bastante mayor).

Además, la tienda tiene una bonita colección de bolsitas y bolsos de colores brillantes hechos con tela de cometas viejas recicladas. Están fabricados por un astuto sastre local.

Si buscas una escuela de kitesurf seria y profesional a precio justo ¡Tarifa Kitesurf Academy es lo que estás buscando! ¡Acabamos de tener 4 días de clases privadas y realmente puedo recomendar a José, el instructor!

Personal muy amable! Podría responder todas nuestras preguntas con experiencia. Alquilamos tablas de surf por un día y lo disfrutamos mucho. El equipo más nuevo, algunas tablas eran nuevas por el mismo precio.

En un principio, esta tienda dispone de material muy novedoso y de calidad para cada actividad a realizar en la playa. Y también el dueño de la tienda es un tipo muy honesto, que se toma el tiempo para cada cliente y pone todo su esfuerzo en hacer que todos salgan felices de la tienda. Debido al mal viento no pudimos hacer kitesurf, así que alquilamos algunas tablas de surf con trajes de neopreno, que estaban en perfectas condiciones, incluso nos abrió una tabla nueva para que la usáramos. Es una tienda muy generosa y recibes propinas con tanta experiencia. No hay nada de qué quejarse. ¡¡¡Solo puedo recomendar una visita a esta tienda!

De hecho, viajamos a Tarifa para hacer kitesurf. Desafortunadamente, había muy poco viento y decidimos surfear. Miguel nos ha prestado el mejor equipo para surfear. ¡Incluso nos dio una tabla nueva para usar! Era muy honesto, amigable y un verdadero deportista. Puede esperar consejos perfectos para todo lo relacionado con el kitesurf, el surf y los deportes acuáticos. ¡Puedo recomendar altamente la tienda!

¡Miguel, el dueño de la tienda, ha sido mi interlocutor desde el primer día que llegué a Tarifa! Desafortunadamente tuve algunos problemas con mi equipo y él se tomó todo el tiempo del mundo para ayudarme a encontrar la solución. Llevó mis cometas al taller de reparación y comprobó si los precios serían justos, me aconsejó sobre las mejores gafas de kitesurf y cuando mis líneas eran desiguales pasó toda la noche conmigo frente a su puerta explicándome cómo ¡Coloque coletas para poder hacerlo yo mismo la próxima vez! Por último, nos dio muchas sugerencias sobre cómo hacer kitesurf con condiciones de viento específicas y qué técnicas deberíamos utilizar con vientos muy racheados o cometas casi cayendo del aire. ¡Aconsejaría a cualquiera que tenga preguntas sobre reparaciones o lecciones que acuda a Miguel! ¡Calidad, paciencia y precios justos garantizados! ¡Gracias de nuevo por todo tu apoyo Miguel y esperamos verte el próximo año! As a beginner starting from scratch, I have felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout all the lessons. These guys are very passionate about kitesurfing and will help you progress quickly and at your own pace. Also, I really enjoyed the personal approach and contact! The gear is of high quality aswell. Would recommend Cristian and Miguel to both beginners and advanced riders!

I signed up to a private beginner course in Tarifa, doing around 15 hours in total.

I couldn’t recommend KiteWild Tarifa more highly! I was with David as a coach, who taught me in perfect English. He was incredibly passionate, patient and thoughtful in the way he coached, including explaining the theory behind everything.

The course was tailored completely to my individual needs and areas to improve, and it felt much more personalised than other lessons I’ve had. David always found a way to adapt the approach if I was struggling with certain movements.

I was completely new to kiting, but the team always made me feel safe in the conditions whilst building my confidence to kite independently. If the conditions weren’t right, Miguel was very honest and flexible with the lessons we had, and only charged for the time we used.

They’re also just an awesome bunch of people who are great to hang out with! I fully plan to come back!

Back for my second time! Miguel and his team are simply fantastic. They are so friendly, professional, patient and helpful. Miguel constantly pushed me to progress to the next step so that I reached independent level as soon as possible. I got there quickly due to Miguel's amazing attention to detail on technique, and dedication to me as a student. They do not want to try to sell you more lessons, they really do care about making you the best kitesurfer possible, as quickly as possible! They have brand new, top quality equipment. The lessons are completely tailored to the needs and desires of the student so there is no time wasted going through the basics if you already know it.

Me apunté a clases con Miguel por pura casualidad y que suerte!
Miguel y su escuela de Kitesurf han sido un descubrimiento y ya he planeado otra escapada. Utilizan un equipo top de marca Cabrinha, todo era nuevo o casi nuevo. Miguel tiene un estilo de enseñanza que inspira confianza y te permite desarrollar tus "skills" de forma progresiva. Esta claro que estas aprendiendo de un verdadero pro y siempre de forma segura. Además de enseñarte a navegar a kitesurf, Miguel te podrá dar todo tipo de "local tips" como donde ir para los bocadillos de chorizo mas sabrosos a este lado del Estrecho. Highly recommended.

Quality of Instruction + Safety

I took five private lessons with Miguel at the Tarifa Kitesurfing Academy, and I had a really amazing experience.

Miguel is a true professional who is very knowledgeable and passionate about kitesurfing. He is also a fantastic instructor, coach and person. He truly cares about his students.

He provided high quality instruction, with very personalized feedback. His lessons are structured and makes sure to focus on 1-2 things at a time. This is key as a beginner to be able to progress effectively and get the basics down. He is quick to spot mistakes and provides feedback right away, without being overwhelming.

When it comes to safety, Miguel did an excellent job. He always made sure that both him and I used safety equipment adequately at all times. He was always very attentive to any unsafe situations that might happen and took measures if necessary right away. This was true for both beach and water. He was very helpful with kite relaunches or when lines got tangled. He would not hesitate to get into the water to support if necessary.

Miguel uses latest communication technology for the lessons. I had a helmet with a Bluetooth connected speaker and microphone, by which I could talk to Miguel at all times while in the water and riding. This allows for continuous feedback and guidance, which was really helpful to eliminate mistakes continuously.

The kitesurfing equipment was new and in excellent conditions, as he renews all equipment every season. We used Cabrinha kites and board.

He was very comunicative and made sure to always choose the spot with the best conditions for learning. He was always on time for every meeting.

In summary, I had an unbelievable experience and I would recommend Miguel and the Tarifa Kitesurfing Academy to anyone.

This is the best place to go in Tarifa for Kitesurfing lessons! Miguel is so passionate about Kitesurfing and dedicated to improving the ability of his students. I felt very safe and he was always there to guide me through what I needed to do whilst in the water. What I also liked was that he let you do things by yourself so that you know what to expect when you become an independent kitesurfer. Miguel was also really flexible in tailoring the lessons to my exact needs and goals to ensure that I got the most out of them. Overall, fantastic lessons and has progressed my massively on my kitesurfing journey. Thanks!
