The British School of Málaga

Our experience in this school was terrible. Our children started attending the school when it was still St. George´s Malaga. Although the school did have a couple of issues at that time, it was nothing major. It was when it was taken over by the Laude group (ISP group) when the situation became worse. Good teachers who had been there for years were suddenly made redundant and plenty of new staff were employed. Staff changes after that then became constant, making it impossible for children to have any stability. My eldest son had five different mathematics teachers in only one year, it was impossible for him to learn with so many teacher changes. Since it was taken over by Laude (the school is Laude Malaga, really) children became only a number to make profit. We ended-up leaving. When schools belong to such big groups in the end all that matters is money, not education. Would never recommend this school to anyone.

We have had a very good experience of this school so far. Excellent communication and very approachable staff. Lovely, truly international atmosphere. Ability to wear sports uniform all day for reception so the children are comfortable learning. Sporty and healthy school - all the children look very well:)

Amazing school and facilities. They are building a new primary state-of-the art building. It has a very international community with solid values and quality education.

Quiero compartir mi terrible experiencia sobre esta escuela.

Planeamos venir a la escuela en marzo de 2022. A petición de la escuela, hacemos un anticipo de 415 euros.
Pero, desafortunadamente, debido a la guerra, no pudimos volar al entrenamiento.

La escuela prometió devolver el dinero.
Pero la escuela actuó como un fraude. Alrededor de 9 meses para poner excusas. No devuelven el dinero bajo diversos pretextos. La última vez que la escuela cometió un error, devolvió el dinero a un nombre diferente. La escuela no me devolvió el dinero.

Estamos muy molestos por la situación. En un período tan difícil de mi vida, la escuela trabaja en el duelo de otra persona.

Aconsejo a todos que vayan a otra escuela.

My daughter likes this school and progressing very well. Teachers are amazing and work hard supporting the children and developing academics skills as well as social interaction. All staff at this school are really helpful. I couldn't think of better school for my kid to be in. Thank You!

Cobran mucho mas para lo que aprenden los niños y encima los cursos superiores tienen que pagar cantidades extremas de dinero para un mes sin colegio

Instalaciones, ambiente, personal.no podemos hablar mejor de este centro. Es una decisión que ha valido la pena al 200%. Para mí y mi familia la mejor calidad de enseñanza en Málaga.

I could not be happier about this school. It offers an excellent British education which also includes advance learning of all sciences. Students, families and staff form a great community and children feel a really caring atmosphere for improving their learning.

Mi experiencia con mis dos hijos ha sido muy buena. Tanto el que ha elegido la Universidad española como la que decidió irse a Inglaterra.

Students are happy at this school and the staff really make a difference. It is really improving with the new leadership ream:) amazing head teacher as well!

I know this school well, it offers an excellent, bilingual education with a strong new management team. If you are considering a British education in Spain, I would strongly recommend a visit; you will be impressed.
