Acabo de regresar de un increíble fin de semana largo en Villa Hermosa Colina con un gran grupo de amigos. ¡Es un lugar tan hermoso que no podríamos haber estado más felices con él! Gracias Claire y Doug por ser los mejores anfitriones, tan encantadores y serviciales. Volveremos el año que viene seguro si nos invitas

Acabo de regresar de una larga estancia de fin de semana en Villa Homosa Colina. Tuvimos un grupo de 10 personas para celebrar nuestro 30 cumpleaños y la villa fue increíble. La villa tenía todas las instalaciones que necesitábamos, habitaciones grandes con baño privado y el área de la piscina lo hicieron para nosotros. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!

Visitamos Colina de Villa Hermosa para el cumpleaños número 30 de nuestros amigos y Claire y Doug no podrían haber hecho más. Mi habitación tenía una vista increíble de la piscina y el mar. Las tumbonas y el jacuzzi eran geniales y proporcionaban el escenario perfecto para el fin de semana.

Visitamos para celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños con 11 amigos. Todo el fin de semana fue increíble alojándonos en esta hermosa villa con pintorescas vistas al mar. Clare estuvo muy atenta durante todo el fin de semana y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitábamos. Sinceramente, la villa es mucho mejor de lo que podríamos haber imaginado. Increíble 30 cumpleaños

Acabamos de regresar de unas vacaciones familiares de una semana en Villa Hermosa Colina, y no podríamos haber pedido más de unas vacaciones. Con nuestra combinación de adultos, adolescentes y niños, teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos para mantener felices a todos, desde la piscina de agua salada y los juguetes hasta los encantadores cachorros que bajaban para ver a los niños. Los hermosos pueblos cercanos de Salobreña y Nerja son perfectos para pequeñas excursiones de un día si nos apetece algo de comida local o un paseo por la playa. Clare y Doug tenían un gran conocimiento local cuando se trataba de reservar lugares y moverse, así que gracias de nuevo chicos)
¡¡Volveremos!

What a great find!

We booked Villa Hermosa Colina direct with the friendly and truly hospitable owners for a family reunion of six adults and it was just perfect! We also saved a nice amount and got a lovely free breakfast thrown in by booking direct.

The villa is an easy drive (c. 1 hour 15 mins) from Malaga and sits on a hillside high above the Med, with spectacular views both ways along the coast and towards the distant horizon. The grounds have a huge variety of flowers, plants and trees and Doug and Clare are happy to tell you what's what and pick you a fresh lemon for your G&T!

Outside, there's a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen/bar and ample sunbeds to stretch out and chill out on - plus a few quiet corners to retreat to with a good book should you wish.

Inside, the rooms are individually and interestingly decorated and everything we needed was there. There's plenty of room to dine inside or outside on the balcony to enjoy meals prepared in the well appointed kitchen. The decor is eclectic - lovely quirky touches here and there.

Doug and Clare love animals (but if you don't that's OK as they mainly stay where the owners live further up the hill) and they had four cats and four dogs, which was great.

Doug and Clare could not have been more helpful with information and restaurant recommendations and bookings, directions, suggestions for walks, etc.and we loved that they are so keen on being as eco as possible in this little corner of paradise.

We found the vibe at Villa Hermosa Colina relaxed, informal, eclectic, fun, interesting and welcoming. Great hosts, great holiday! Thank you, Clare & Doug.

Need to know:
- it's a drive to the beach and nearest town - a car is a must if you want to explore the area
- you need to be happy with hills - you don't get those views without being up a (fairly steep) incline
- La Roka restaurant in Salobrena is great for a special meal out
- Loved the market in Almunecar - full of all sorts of pre-loved stuff!

Our holiday at the villa was just what we all needed. Such tranquil, and relaxing gardens and and really cool decor gives the house a wonderful atmosphere. Clare and Doug are amazing hosts, and the food which Clare prepared for us, both breakfasts and evening meals were out of this world! (and great value too!). I also had an amazing massage from Pascale down by the Eco Pool. It was one of the best massages I have had, and the sounds of the birds and frogs really added to the experience (in a good way!)
Watch out for the steep drive up to the villa though. The last bit is a bit "interesting"

We had a fantastic 4 day reunion with family. Doug & Clare are wonderful hosts. They have a lovely villa in a gorgeous setting. Clare is a fantastic cook. If you don't want to go out we would recommend any of her dishes.

Having just returned home from Villa Hermosa yesterday, I cannot sing the praises of the beautiful apartment, the charming hosts, the delightful food and the stunning views adequately.
It really is a little piece of paradise, tucked high up in the hills with panoramic views, from almost every angle of the villa.

We were a family party of 6, consisting of both single and double occupancy which was easily accommodated in the four stylish and spacious rooms, each with our own private bathroom.
We booked direct, which I would recommend, particularly from a communication point of view, which was first class. The information and joining instructions from the hosts, Doug & Clare, were comprehensive and easy to follow.
During our stay they were always on hand for recommendations, assistance and were exceedingly good company.

Their tasteful style emanates throughout the property both internally & in the grounds and nothing is to much trouble.
Their pet cats & dogs were an added bonus and provided endless entertainment. Clare’s cooking is also not to be missed, we enjoyed a magnificent Paella on the first day with a delicious salad.

You really will want for nothing, leaving you only to enjoy relaxing at the property if that’s your thing, or for exploring & more active pursuits in & near the grounds of the villa. Hiring a car is pretty essential, if only to master the ascent to the villa, which is well worth it once you’re there.

Salobrena is only a short drive away, as are the beaches and a choice of delightful and well priced restaurants.

¡Qué gran hallazgo!

Reservamos Villa Hermosa Colina directamente con los amables y verdaderamente hospitalarios propietarios para una reunión familiar de seis adultos y ¡fue simplemente perfecto! También ahorramos una buena cantidad y obtuvimos un delicioso desayuno gratis al reservar directamente.

La villa se encuentra a poca distancia en coche (aproximadamente 1 hora y 15 minutos) de Málaga y se encuentra en una ladera muy por encima del Mediterráneo, con vistas espectaculares a ambos lados de la costa y hacia el horizonte lejano. Los jardines tienen una gran variedad de flores, plantas y árboles, y Doug y Clare estarán felices de contarte qué es qué y recogerte un limón fresco para tu G&T.

En el exterior, hay una piscina, un jacuzzi, una cocina/bar al aire libre y amplias tumbonas para tumbarse y relajarse, además de algunos rincones tranquilos donde retirarse con un buen libro si lo desea.

En el interior, las habitaciones están decoradas de forma individual e interesante y todo lo que necesitábamos estaba allí. Hay mucho espacio para cenar dentro o fuera en el balcón y disfrutar de las comidas preparadas en la cocina bien equipada. La decoración es ecléctica: encantadores toques extravagantes aquí y allá.

A Doug y Clare les encantan los animales (pero si no, está bien, ya que principalmente se quedan donde viven los dueños más arriba de la colina) y tenían cuatro gatos y cuatro perros, lo cual fue genial.

Doug y Clare no podrían haber sido más útiles con información, recomendaciones y reservas de restaurantes, direcciones, sugerencias para paseos, etc.y nos encantó que estén tan interesados ​​en ser lo más ecológicos posible en este pequeño rincón del paraíso.

Encontramos el ambiente en Villa Hermosa Colina relajado, informal, ecléctico, divertido, interesante y acogedor. ¡Excelentes anfitriones, excelentes vacaciones! Gracias, Clara y Doug.

Necesito saber:
- es un viaje en coche a la playa y al pueblo más cercano - es imprescindible tener un coche si quieres explorar la zona
- tienes que estar contento con las colinas - no se obtienen esas vistas sin estar en una pendiente (bastante empinada)
- El restaurante La Roka en Salobreña es ideal para una comida especial.
- Me encantó el mercado de Almuñécar, ¡lleno de todo tipo de artículos usados!

Last weekend, me, my cat, and a few lovely friends were in need of a relaxing holiday stay, so we came to this amazing villa. Sure to say, we all had the best time.

The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the remote location is perfect; isolated yet so close to everything (by car ofc). FYI, there was no problem accessing the house in my old, broken down car.

The beds are super soft and comfy, and the house spacious and charming. We took a stroll around the beautiful garden which was so lovely, ate some fresh fruit before dipping our toes into the pool. Later at night, we as well enjoyed a evening trip to the hot tub.

The owners, Clare and Daug, took such good care of us and made us such a tasty breakfast - we really felt so welcome and at home. I was thrilled that they are animal lovers like my friend group, so I could bring my cat with me, who as well, really enjoyed her stay while making some new friends.

We all dream of returning someday in the future. Thank you so much for everything. ️

I have just left Villa Hermosa Colina and am now leaving my first ever review for a work visit.
That is because I have never felt so pleasantly surprised by the generosity and warm hospitality of a host, as I have at Villa Hermosa Colina.

Great people with great hearts, plenty of space, delicious food (all cooked by the owners on site), friendly animals (who stayed in the owners area of the property but I frequently visited), beautiful garden and views, all made this a perfect trip I will remember until I can't.

What a location!
Amazing views that made me feel like had been transported to the tropics.
Such beautiful established grounds, stunning sea views even whilst being in the salt pool.
The accommodation was great with a super comfy mattress and to top it all, Doug and Clare were wonderful kind hosts that were so helpful and entertaining.
Well worth a stay?

We had an amazing restful stay at this beautiful, tastefully decorated villa. The villa is equipped with all the amenities you could possibly hope for. The pool area has a hot tub as well as comfortable areas to relax and a pool side fridge for your pool side drinks. They really have thought of everything!
Clare and Doug are incredible hosts and were on hand for advice and help if needed. Clare is an amazing cook and offers a welcome meal at a very reasonable price. The hosts really do try to meet your every need and will go out of their way to tailor your stay to make it an amazing experience. They even have an eco pond with a fantastic area for yoga classes and retreats which as a yoga teacher I will definitely use in the future.
An unexpected highlight of the holiday for us was the fact that the hosts have rescue dogs and cats in their own villa further up the hill, and having lost our lovely dog recently we couldn’t leave without adopting one of the rescue puppies.
All in all a super relaxing holiday to remember, with an unexpected gorgeous furry bonus!

Well appointed villa with stunning views, the beautiful pool and outdoor areas were definitely the highlight for us. Clare and Doug where incredibly helpful and responsive and provided great local recommendations.

We held a Yoga retreat here & fell in love with the ever changing sky & seascapes, especially seeing dolphins one morning from the balcony! The sub tropical gardens & bio pool frogs were a delight & the fresh mangos from the garden were exquisite. We chose this villa for our Yoga Retreat because of the incredible views, the beautiful decor & the eco footprint. Owners Clare & Doug have turned this villa on a hill into something really magical where you can have the luxuries like the salt water swimming pool, a hot tub & beautiful surroundings all powered by solar power. & love of all things & creatures bright & beautiful! Thank you thank you thank you! We will be back

What a wonderful holiday we had at the villa. The best family holiday in July! I cannot speak highly enough of Clare and Doug, who go the extra mile to make sure your stay is simply perfect. Clare’s exceptional cooking is a must! We all loved the villa and all it had to offer, including an outdoor gym area, near the pool. We have fond memories of the water walk (thanks to Clare and Doug) with the wonderful surprise at the end, the fab restaurants nearby and the kayaking and paddle boarding. We really cannot recommend this villa highly enough with the best hosts you could wish for. It is a little bit of paradise for a few summer weeks and we hope to be back again soon. My stay at Hermosa Colina was amazing. Clare and Doug are truly lovely people and make wonderful hosts.
We stayed in the main villa- it has everything you might need, including a lovely spacious balcony/terrace overlooking the pool, with beautiful panoramic views of the sea (we ate every meal out there).
The food was also incredibly delicious!
I felt very lucky to find somewhere so lovely to stay and would recommend to anyone.

Conocemos a Doug y Clare hace unos cuantos años, pero esta ha sido nuestra primera estadía en la Villa. Tuvimos una estancia espectacular y la comida maravillosa. Y ellos dos fueron unos magníficos anfitriones como siempre.

Such a stunning villa with incredible views of the sea! Clare and Doug are great hosts who cater to all your culinary needs upon request - superb food! The villa itself is well equipped, tastefully decorated, spacious and great for chilling and privacy and to lock your self away for a retreat from the outside the world. The pool and hot tub are perfectly positioned to enjoy the views and the outdoor bar makes for a lot of fun!

The property and its' surroundings are really well taken care of. The driveway is not for the feint hearted but you don't get a view like that without a hill somewhere along the way! The outdoor lounge beds are comfortable giving it a 'marbella-esque' feel.

Lovely, nearby Spanish style towns of Almunecar and Salobrena are a short drive away - well worth a visit and pretty good taxi service available if needed. Plenty to do in the area if you choose to leave the sanctuary!

Todo detalle muy cuidado. Los propietarios muy atentos. La comida excelente. Las vista estupendas. Dispone de una piscina natural increíble y yakuzzi con agua caliente, ideal para un baño nocturno. Muy recomendable.

Villa Hermosa is good. So good, in fact, that my sister and I made a game of trying to find ANYTHING that we could complain about. Here is what we came up with: There’s no helipad on site; How unfortunate! There weren’t enough rubber ducks in the bathrooms; unjustifiable! We couldn’t pet their dogs allll day long, nor, could we take them home with us. Inexcusable!

Clare and Doug were amazing hosts. We ordered at least one meal nearly every day and were never disappointed despite my considerable allergy needs!

My wife couldn’t stop staring at the ocean, none of us could! The view is gorgeous.

Clare and Doug with out a doubt enjoy what they do and helping the people they serve.

Can not wait to visit again! 10/10

Villa hermosa is a tropical paradise. Fresh mangos, avocados, dragon fruit, olives, and more, right off the tree!

When my husbands family arrived we drank in the sweet tropical air and limitless ocean view and fell in love.

Between the pool, hot tub, out door bar and paths through the property, there was plenty to do.

The house was sparkling and well equipped when we arrived with lots of character, culture, and color. The guest book was well written with lots of personal touch, and even included an option for the hosts to cook!

On check in, Clare and Doug assured us that, if we wanted, they would keep their rescue dogs from visiting and “bothering us”. Fortunately, we assured them that we would very much love to be bothered! Our family favorite was Rocky, the pit bull cuddle bug who came over everyday (per our request) and brought his adorable smile and wagging tail with him!

Clare and Doug evidently enjoy what they do and care about the people they host. We had the most extravagant meals and our complicated allergy needs were met with above and beyond service, flare and flavor!

If I could do more stars I would! Villa Hermosa was the best but the hosts and doggies made it perfect!

Wow, just wow. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel I was the only person staying, nothing was too much trouble. I had the best of both worlds, first night in the converted lorry, with a short hop to the stunning eco pool for a much needed cooling off swim. The eco pool is amazing half for humans and the other half frogs, water lilies and other plants.
Next stop, the beautiful villa, complete with its own pool bar, hot tub and the infinity pool, with stunning views over the gardens and out to sea. Breakfast is a must on the balcony again even more stunning views. There is also a beautiful yurt, maybe next time!
I was lucky enough to be visited by Clare and Doug’ 5 dogs and 1 of 4 cats in the morning, they are adorable and I welcomed their company. The gardens are stunning with a large variety of fruit trees, avocado, lemon, mango and the list goes on. Meditation and yoga space is also available as is a fitness area, no need to lug your weights with you, just ask and you will receive. There are many great restaurants which serve the most amazing food, but book to eat at the Hermosa Colina, Clare is a fantastic cook and turns out restaurant standard food.
Another favourite was a trip high up in the hills! To visit a beautiful waterfall where a much needed dip was needed after the walk to reach, it looking forward to another dip next time.

Superb Villa with the most amazing owners. We stayed here for two weeks in August 2021 and had the best family holiday ever. We booked the Villa and the static Lorry conversion which is located in a separate area with its own Eco Pool. The Villa is set high in the hills with the most amazing views, it has a beautiful pool (with a bar area) and a hot tub. What more could you want? Well actually, you do get MORE! We were treated to a the most amazing welcome meal and a fabulous complimentary breakfast. I also booked an evening meal for my grandsons birthday and I can honestly say that the food the owners provide is far better than any of the local bars and restaurants (and we ate a quite a few over the two weeks). In addition you also get loads of helpful free advice from the owners about local places and general information. If you are an animal lover, this place is a must for you! The owners support a range of animal charities, foster and own some beautiful dogs and donate a percentage of direct booking fees to animal charities. The gardens and grounds of the Villa have a tropical feel (It reminded me of places I have stayed in Bali) and you can even treat yourself to an excellent massage in one of the on-site Yurts. I would highly recommend this Villa and I will certainly be returning next year. Thanks for a truly wonderful (much needed) holiday.

I can’t recommend Villa Hermosa Colina enough. I’ve been home 3 days and I missing the views so much. I loved everything about the villa. Clare and Doug have created a beautiful homely atmosphere. The outside area was lovely and the views are breathtaking.
We also had a breakfast and birthday dinner prepared for us by Clare and it was delicious. Personally for me as a vegan, she cooked a outstanding meal and I know the rest of my family were equally as happy with their meal. She also cooked the kids an absolutely lovely lentil lasagna which was gobbled down. I will be asking for a couple of her recipes.
Finally as a family of animal lovers, we got daily visits from their beautiful dogs. Obviously if you’re not animal crazy this doesn’t happen but we loved having Rocky pop in and say hello. He stole our hearts. The couple help with an animal rescue charity and this for me as well as their eco ethics was an extra bonus.
We will be coming again next year and I would give 5 stars without hesitation.

Oh my lord this is the most amazing Villa I’ve ever stayed in, EVER. An oasis hidden in the hills and super easy to get to. The beaches, restaurants all on the doorstep. The house is absolutely perfect & the views to die for. On top of that you have the most amazing hosts who will do anything and everything to make your stay the best it can possibly be. The pool, the chill out areas and did I mention the view? Absolutely stunning…. If only we could live there…….

Stunning setting of the gorgeous villa, it's like something out of a film set! The owners Clare & Doug & their band of rescue pets were a wonderful welcome! The villa has everything you need & more, gorgeous pool, great hot tub & even a bar next to the pool. We stayed 3 nights but really do wish it was longer. The little terrace off the main bedroom was perfect for morning coffee & just to sit & listen to the birds & the frogs. This is a beautiful place to relax & unwind, peaceful & calm. We booked this as a retreat & were not disappointed! Hoping to come back very soon, keep up the good work Clare & Doug, you are creating something magical!

I don't normally write reviews but had to write one for Hermosa Colina. It is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed. The uninterrupted sea views are stunning - it's so close it almost feels 'in your face'. The villa itself is gorgeous, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need. I loved having having my morning espresso on the huge balcony and taking in the view of the sea and gardens. The lush gardens are terraced giving each level a different vibe and a different fruit - picking avocados straight from the tree was a highlight! It's about 20 minutes walk down the hill to a lovely peaceful pebble beach or 10-15 minutes drive to the golden sandy beaches at Salobrena or Almuñécar. You can't order a beer or wine in these charming seaside towns without getting a free tapas dish!
The owners Clare and Doug live just up the hill from the villa and were always on hand if we needed anything. They are really kind, generous and fun people who know how to entertain guests while also giving ample privacy. Clare cooked some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten - do not miss the chance to try her cooking! I cannot wait to get back to Hermosa Colina again.

Stayed here 3 times over the last 18 months, twice with friends, once with family. Very comfortable, beautiful views, lots of nice places to eat which were recommended by the host. Felt more like a trip to Bali than a holiday to Spain. Owners Clare & Doug were on hand for any assistance we needed but equally gave us our privacy. On our last stay even got to help bottle feed some orphaned kittens, a bonus!

La casa esta apartada y las fotos no corresponden a lo que se ve en la web el sitio esta bien de vistas, el servicio deja muchísimo que desear, a la salida me quisieron cobrar más de la cuenta q es un error q a todos puede pasar pero en este caso fueron muy despectivos para aceptar que nos estava cobrando

Mi peor experiencia nada recomendable

Stayed at Hermosa Colina for 2 weeks with a group of 6 boys from university. Although the pictures are enticing the reality at Colina is nothing short of paradise. The food, amenities and care around the villa was excellent and the area outside the villa has lots to offer. We went to nice beaches and a waterfall nearby. Could not recommend this place more. Wonderful hosts, wonderful villa.

La casa es super cómoda, los anfitriones atentos desde la primer consulta hasta el día que nos fuimos, las vistas alucinante, la ubicación perfecta para tener tranquilidad y a la vez poder visitar en 10 minutos 2 hermosos pueblos, Salobreña y Almuñécar, con sus mercados locales, playas y castillos.
También recomendamos visitar y conocer sus proyectos de rescate de mascotas y cuidado ambiental. Un plus difícil de ver en hospedajes de lujo como este.

What a great place. Brilliant hospitality from the owners who looked after every need. I would recommend the whole experience of the pool, the accommodation, the peace and quiet and with good access to local towns this would make for an excellent short or long break.

I have now stayed at Villa Hermosa Colina near Salobreña in Spain 4 times.it would have been 5 times but had to postpone recently because of Covid lockdown. Difficult to find the words to describe the beauty, tranquility, warmth and amazing hospitality of this amazing Villa.
Clare and Doug are the best hosts I have ever stayed with. You can see from the photos what an amazing location it’s in but that’s only half of the story. Clare and Doug are so welcoming and clearly love their home which is so comfortable, stylish and has the best facilities. You can be as private as you wish or share time with this lovely couple. They have great local knowledge so will suggest places to visit in the region.but it’s tempting just to stay on site, nothing is too much trouble. There are beautiful gardens with avocados and a range of fruit growing, all of which the generous hosts happily share with their guests. I have catered independently whilst there but now always avail myself of the wonderful catering provided by Clare and Doug, delicious food, beautifully presented with a choice of location to dine, whether by the pool, on the large verandah which overlooks the pool and has amazing sea views or in the dining room.also with sea views.
This is a 5* location with 5* hospitality and 5* gorgeousness. I will definitely return.by myself and with family and friends. Can’t wait!

Las mejores vacaciones nunca! Quedemos 2 semanas en la Villa y a pesar de COVID fue todo maravilloso. Los propietarios son muy amables y hicieron todo posible para hacer nuestras vacaciones especial. Nos ofrecieron el servicio de cena en casa que fue una experiencia 100% recomendable. La comida fue increíble y todo detalle super bien cuidado.

La casa en si esta super comada con estilo original y varios rincones donde se puede relajar y tomar el sol. Pero lo mejor de todo son las vistas al mar desde la piscina, totalmente inmejorable (merece la pena subir la cuesta!)

Ya hemos reservado para el año que viene con muchas ganas de volver!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Hermosa Colina. The location of this beautifully-styled house would be hard to beat: very private, at the top of a hill, nestled in the most lush and exotic gardens and with stunning views out to sea. There are balconies and tiered terraces that all provide different magical perspectives, and it is almost impossible not to unwind completely in such a setting. The accommodation is very comfortable and stylish, with Balinese accents throughout. Clare and Doug are very discreet hosts, and it is reassuring to know that they are not that far away if you ever need anything. We loved our stay and will certainly return before too long.

We recently spent a fabulous holiday at this wonderful Villa. The accommodation, amenities, views and hospitality were absolutely superb. The location is great, whilst feeling relaxed and away from all the hustle and bustle there are many attractions and activities within a short distance. We have stayed at many Villas over the years and have yet to find better hosts that Clare and Doug. Nothing was too much bother for them, they were to so warm and welcoming. We will certainly be booking this Villa again next year.

We have Just returned from a week at hermosa colina. (Our second visit!) Thank you so much to the hosts, Clare and Doug who couldn’t have done enough to make sure we had a perfect stay. We were met by an absolutely stunning setting, and the villa was everything we were could have hoped for when we were looking for a relaxing weeks get away. We immediately settled by the pool with a cocktail! The views from the hot tub at night are absolutely breathtaking. Coffees on the terrace in the morning, over looking the sea were just perfect. The villa is furnished to a high standard, very comfortable, with excellent amenities. We ventured out into the neighbouring towns to explore, However the hosts offered a catering service which we gladly took advantage of! And my goodness, Clares cooking is unrivalled! With options for Both my husband (big meat eater) and myself (vegaterian)

Thank you so much to Clare and Doug for being the perfect hosts. We couldn’t have felt more welcome. Your villa is idyllic. I could go on all day, We cannot wait to return again, and recommend colina hermosa to all our friends and family.

Particularmente no recuerdo una estancia tan desagradable en mis 37 años de vida, pero aún es peor que después de arruinarnos varios días de vacaciones los propietarios siguieran reclamándonos unos supuestos daños en la casa. Desconozco si lo hicieron a modo venganza o porque algo no funciona bien en sus cabezas, pero después de conocerlos me creo cualquiera de las dos posibilidades. Afortunadamente, pudimos recibir la colaboración de la agencia a través de la cual hicimos la reserva (Niumba) para explicar lo que vivimos y argumentar nuestra versión de los hechos. Como bastante tiempo he perdido ya con estos señores incluso después de haber llegado a un acuerdo con ellos para poder irnos de ese (con la comisón de la agencia pagada por nosotros, pero aún así querían más), copio junto a esta reseña la respuesta que dio Niumba a su reclamación.

Con esta prueba, mi única intención es intentar prevenir a aquel que pueda sentir curiosidad por pasar unas vacaciones en esta finca aislada de la sociedad (salvo de sus propietarios) de que se lo piensen bien, miren más opciones y valoren si desean pasar sus vacaciones en un sitio en el que:

- Sus propietarios te reclaman que has roto un jacuzzi porque se ha derramado agua.
- Te encuentras una mañana al "amable" señor de 66 años dentro de la casa que has alquilado exigiendo una "revisión" de los cuartos, en plan campamentos infantiles.
- Te reclaman unas toallas que no te habían dado.
- A las 22h te dicen que el volumen de tu conversación es muy alto.
- El "amable" señor te amenaza, sí sí, a sus 66 años.
- Etc, etc, etc

Tan sólo lo recomiendo para aquellos que quieran mejorar su inglés (es el único idioma que se plantea hablar en la propiedad, da igual estar en España) o quieran probar las dotes off-road de su vehículo accediendo hasta donde está la casa. Si vuestro objetivo es disfrutar de unas agradables vacaciones, olvidad este sitio.

I spent a week at this incredible accommodation last summer with my young family.

We stumbled across it by accident whilst looking for somewhere a little different.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The hosts greeted us like friends, very helpful and clearly knew the local area and how to provide a luxury experience.

They were available to us if we wanted anything, but we rarely needed them. They provided us with the most stunning location to relax in.

The pool was gorgeous, and what a view!

The house was decorated to a high standard, and the beds were so comfortable.

The hosts were able to recommend so fabulous days out, and places to eat locally. We took advantage of their recommendations, and wow!

I would return to Villa Hermiosa Colina again (and we never go somewhere twice!).
I would also recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous, quiet, relaxing holiday.

Para empezar las fotos que se ven, no corresponden a la realidad. Si lo minimizas en una escala de 1/10, Si. Si alquilas este lugar, ten en cuenta varias cosas. Su acceso puede ser una prueba de calificación para Collin Mcrae y el bueno de Sebastian entre otros. Dejando esto a un lado, la pareja que te alquila este reducto, te vigilará a modo GH. Cada movimiento que hagas en ese complejo, será visto y cuestionado por la pareja k más tarde te llegará a atemorizar. No les tiembla a la hora de entrar en tu guarida, en cualquier momento del dia, con la peor educación que jamás, yo al menos, había conocido. En fin, dicen k de todo se aprende, lo más triste de esta historia, es que yo aún lo estoy buscando.

We spent a week at this charming villa. The grounds are gorgeous with mature gardens including fruit trees and beautiful flowers spread along shaded paths. The house is large with modern amenities and a quirky style. A large open plan kitchen is perfect for home entertaining and adjoins the open plan living area. There are distinct areas for relaxing and more formal dining which leads onto a terrace for al-fresco dining amongst the branches of a mature carob tree. The dining terrace overlooks the pool and both share a beautiful southern aspect with an uninterrupted view overlooking the Mediterranean from east to west. You can enjoy both the sunset and sunrise from your own jacuzzi and a small bar area provides for pool side refreshment and food with a bbq provided.
While staying we made the most of the local area. Salobrena and local supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away. The quiet local country roads and tracks are great for walking and jogging for those that can take the hills. Fantastic views along the coast towards both Salobrena and Malaga await those climbing the hills behind the village where the villa is located. The owners were personable and very responsive to our questions. The villa was professionally cleaned before our arrival.
