Wyndham Grand Residences Costa del Sol

Estamos pasando unos días aquí, es un complejo enorme de unos 800 alojamientos que si no te ubicas bien, la verdad es que te pierdes con facilidad. El complejo tiene de todo, es una mini ciudad tranquila y agradable, a no ser que te toquen unos vecinos ruidosos como en nuestro caso, ya que las paredes dejan sentir cualquier ruido.
Echamos de menos información de servicios , etc .como en algunos resort de alto nivel que hemos visitado.
El personal de recepción no es la simpatía personificada, pero son eficientes, nos cambiaron rápido un colchón impresentable por uno en condiciones y atendieron resto de demandas como cambio de habitación a una con vistas al mar que es lo que se pagó y pidió.
Mención especial al personal de LIMPIEZA y MANTENIMIENTO, súper amables y atentos.
Los horarios están pensados 100% para el turista extranjero, buffet cierra 10:00 h , gimnasio 19:00 h y así todo, en fin otros horarios no españoles, se le va hacer. Por lo demás, lugar correcto para unas vacaciones.sin ser mi sueño de alojamiento. Volveremos? ya se verá.

La ubicacion perfecta, pero faltan servicios para estar un poco aislado, entiendo los costes q les supone pero si me avisan antes habria reservado en otro sitio. el colchon malo, y mucho ruido en la habitación.

No me quedé aquí porque estamos en Marina del Sol, pero di una vuelta. Precioso complejo con bonita zona de piscina, restaurante, gimnasio y otras comodidades. Está subiendo una colina y a una larga caminata hasta la ciudad, por lo que debe estar en forma, usar un taxi o quedarse solo en el lugar.

Un lugar excepcional… ¡¡¡No hay palabras para describirlo! El lugar para estar de vacaciones en la Costa del Sol. ¡Y también una inversión realmente interesante en caso de considerarlo!

No solo está en un enclave como es Mijas, precioso pueblo, si no q es un hotel precioso y con empleados estupendos

Había reservado una junior suite de lujo con vistas al mar. En cuanto al mar, si veía una pequeña parte, veía principalmente una gran pared a la derecha (nunca vi el sol) y principalmente veía edificios de enfrente. Para equipos y utensilios de cocina, no es posible menos. ¿Sin lujos, me pregunto? Lejos de todo, restaurantes caros en el lugar. Muy decepcionado una vez, no dos veces.

Bastante bien por el precio, pero anticuado.

Olor constante a humo de cigarrillo, si te parece bien.
Equipos más antiguos:
-No hay puerto HDMI en el televisor pequeño debido a su antigüedad -> no hay películas por la noche
- Tuve que pasar aproximadamente una hora tratando de descubrir cómo usar la lavadora de ropa.
-No hay cortina de baño - > agua en el piso, pero presión de agua caliente excelente y constante

El mejor hotel de todos los tiempos. Christina y Michalis fueron muy serviciales. Una señora que estaba desayunando viajaba sola y Christina se aseguró de llamarla por teléfono para no sentirse estresada. Muy muy hospitalario. Por encima y más allá de lo que esperaba.

This was originally CLC World. The change to Wyndham was not good and rather unprofessional. I hope the members lounge at reception is going to be upgraded. Many of the staff were in the dark. The 'general workers' were very pleasant and efficient. We have been coming here for about 5 years and this was the least impressed we have been.
I can hear the excuses being prepared now. However, there should be no need, as this is a multi million pound operation earning a few people much money at the expense of the public.
We had a very annoying 10.30 tannoy announcement every day which sounded like Hi-de-hi. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday we had noisy music and a girl trying to get us to dance. This was aimed at the wrong audience. Most people wanted to relax. Over the 3 days, only 7 people joined in.
The 'Happy Hour' is a very good idea but not when your 2 for 1 drinks are delivered at the same time leaving the second one to get warm.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday. However, if there is anything I can help you with please get in touch.

This is an amazing place to stay and relax! We stayed in an apartment in Santa Barbara Heights. We had a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath with a private pool. The apartment was spacious and clean - everything you could want for a family vacation, including a game console for the kids and a secure garage for our car. There are a number of pools onsite, and access to the beach. The train that drives through the property makes getting around convenient and fun. The staff was also very friendly, especially Renata and Lulu! We checked in late, and they made sure to get us down to the restaurant before it closed and then got us situated. They even gifted us a bottle of wine to celebrate with. They made our stay extra special. I'd definitely come back again.

Perfect week-long break. Great food everywhere we ate in the hotel, on the beach, in Fuengorola, Malaga and Marbella.

Dated apartments, should be to a higher standard. Toilet seat hanging off, light switch faulty, no hot water.

It is a very nice place to make holiday. There was 1 smaller pool that was heated and we also had a heated jacuzzi. The rooms were clean and there was plenty towels. There is also a little train that takes you for free to the beach. I would definitively consider going back there.

Lovely & helpful staff. Resort offers a variety of residences. I loved our apartment which had an authentic feel about it and fabulous location near on-site restaurants and the beach.

Hotel con muy buena ubicación, habitaciones amplias. Bonito jardín! Pero, es la primera vez cuando en un hotel de 4 estrellas no habia servicio de habitaciones incluido por 6 noches. No cambiaron las toallas, había que llamar a recepción y pedir champú, gel de ducha y jabón, me respondieron que tampoco entra. Así que deberíamos comprar todo aparte.

Un sitio precioso con unas vistas espectaculares y rodeados de hermosos jardines con muy buenos restaurantes y un bien servicio.mil gracias

We had a great experience. The Santa Barbara Heights apartment was excellent. The public yet private pool was cleaned daily. Our private pool was great fun too and well maintained. Staff was friendly, and good restaurants onsite. Not sure why Grand Relsidences.would get negative reviews. Only thing for the price. Please clean apartments daily. Anyway, we had a great time!

It's a very beautiful place to visit, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It is only a 5 mins walk to the beach and about 15 mins walk into the town. The restaurants on site are all fantastic

El apartamento está de lujo, las zonas comunes fantásticas, todo súper limpio, muy bien cuidado, está súper súper bien. La situación está cerca de todo en coche aunque la playa más cercana es pequeña, está andando como a 10 minutos en cuesta y con sol y es bastante mala a mi parecer. Y lo peor del hotel es el horario de la piscina.cierra a las 19: 00.demasiado pronto para los españoles.

La verdad que las fotos hacen justicia, apartamentos impecables, con mobiliario nuevo, limpios y las partes comunes impecables también. Nos ha encantado, además hay un trenecito que te lleva por todo el complejo gratis. La piscina muy bien cuidada, la gente en general respetuosa y cuidadosa con las instalaciones. Volveremos sin dudarlo. Muy muy recomendable.

Great accommodations, lovely and uphearted staff. Everything is clean and in perfect state. Only one thing is pretty disappointing: the pool bars close at 6 and the pools at seven.

Para estar en familia muy bien. Algo caro los precios del restaurante y del mini Market.
Muy limpio y en orden. Los niños disfrutan mucho.

We only stayed one night but will be back we went in mediteraneo restaurant where the service was first class music was fab also food was amazing and we also went in the Safari for breakfast which is so well laid out with a amazing continental breakfast and a cooked one to order staff here also was great

Completo dentro de Wyndham con habitaciones amplias, confortables y buen equipadas.

Cuenta con infinidad de posibilidades y habitaciones, piscinas, mini market, restaurantes, gym, espectáculos, sala de socios.

Espacio muy recomendable para disfrutar de tus vacaciones.

Playa a 5 minutos caminando

Todo genial, personal encantador, muy amable y atent@, habitaciones muy bonitas, complejo precioso, frente a la playa (la cual se accede por un túnel), piscinas grandes y bonitas, todo paradisiaco y precioso! Para repetir!

La estancia ha sido perfecta. La habitación estaba muy bien equipada y limpia. El complejo cuidado y precioso. El restaurante Safari muy recomendable, los camareros simpáticos y amables. Repetiríamos la estancia!

Place really nice with the pool and a restaurant just outside of the chalet. You have everything you need within the Residence like restaurant, coffee shops, convenience store, bar. To move around they have a train who goes around the whole place so if you don't have a car or doesn't want to walk you can hop in!
The only negative point is arriving to the place and find linen and rubbish outside the door for 2 days.

Magnifique resort, fait comme un village. Nous étions dans la résidence Whyndam avec vue sur la piscine et la mer. Très calme, avec un bar pour le déjeuner. Nous avons été un peu surpris en arrivant par l'autovia del Méditerranée qui passe juste en dessous, mais cela n'est pas gênant du tout (, on ne la voit pas des appartements et il n'y a aucune nuisance sonore). Personnel très agréable et les appartements sont impeccables et très bien équipés.

Fuimos 4 personas a pasar la Semana Santa al complejo Wyndham Grand y nos sorprendió gratamente. Tenía todo lo necesario y más. Las zonas comunes son geniales y el trato del personal muy agradable!

Las habitaciones, el trato y atención del personal genial, pero bastantes excesivos los precios del chiringuito cascada en la piscina. 9'50€ un carajillo de baileys. Vergonzoso!

Let's start with positives:
Beautiful setting on a mountain side, overlooking the sea. The apartment was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! Spacious, well equipped with unspoilt beautiful sea views.

The staff cannot do enough for you. There was a delay booking in because of a new IT system, so the staff brought out champagne to ease the wait!

We were waiting for the fab land train that runs around the entire site one evening after we'd been for a meal. We were shivering and it was incredibly windy, and a member of staff collected us in a service minibus and took us back to our apartment! We were so delighted!

The pool areas are immaculate and the green spaces are beautifully manicured. Everywhere is well kept.

There is a very well stocked and not overpriced shop onsite, and had everything we needed including milk, fresh baked bread, fruit and vegetables. But it's really not very accessible without a vehicle.

However, where our apartment was, was so close to the A-7, one of the busiest roads on the Costa del Sol. The road is continually noisy, even throughout the night. Even at 3am Masseratis were racing up and down the highway on a couple of occasions. Nothing to do with the resort, but nonetheless, very noisy.

This resort is not for those with dodgy knees, the unfit (that's me, that is) or those who hate steep hills! It's great if you plan to hire a car. If not, everything is quite a distance. Access to the beach area is either by dark, slightly whiffy tunnels or steep 'up and over' bridges. It's about 20 - 30 minute walk into Fuengirola. There is a bus stop near the BP garage, but that's the start of the promenade into town, so it's really not worth it. Taxis aren't very cheap either!

It's not somewhere we're planning to go back to. But don't let me put you off!

The staff here are the main asset, they are the best we have ever encountered. We ate breakfast every day, which was good, apart from you have to order your cooked breakfast as soon as you sit down, which is annoying, also would be help if opening time was extended to 1030am. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. Loved the large balcony, the hot tub needed a clean, but a nice addition with a sea view room. Location is not ideal, we usually stay in the Marriott in Elvira and used to everything being in walking distance (village, supermarket, restaurants, beach, bus stops) but you need at least 1.5 or 2.5 hours for trips from here, unless you are prepared to pay for a taxi (€12 to train station/bus terminal) the resort train is so painfully slow, it's stressful! You can walk but you there are hills and is about 35 minutes to Fuengirola restaurants and 20 minutes to the beach or shop. Electric scooters to hire would be useful just to get some bread or milk from the shop (which also closes at 6pm, not ideal)! Pools were good but the heated one was full of small children so not relaxing and closed at 7pm. Overall, this place has potential, which is why has been brought by Wyndham, go now whilst it is good value, as long as you don't want to go out everyday!

Las villas de 2 habitaciones están muy bien. Hay restaurantes, piscinas y puedes caminar a la playa. Volveremos

Realizo una reserva para este verano. Cancelan la reserva de manera unilateral al cabo de 10 días. No ofrecen alternativa ni causa justificable para la anulación. Tuve que anular otras reservas. Todo está en manos de mis abogados quienes han iniciado reclamación pertinente y si no hay respuesta se acudirá a via judicial. La praxis demostrada no es propia de lo que se presupone es una cadena de resort de renombre.
