Albergue Del Peregrino El Texu

If you like to stay here, you may need a reservation. I was the first to arrive in the early afternoon and was sent away, because the albergue was already fully booked. I rated only 1 star because the camino is not about making reservations in advance but about spontaneity and hospitality. This albergue does not allow spontaneity by giving away all the beds to pilgrims that do reservations. An albergue shouldn't be a hotel.

This Camino is called Camino primitivo and not Camino reservado!

Encantadores, limpio, buena música, agradable al máximo, vintage. He ido con mis hijos, y me ha resultado fantástico. Y la comida comunitaria también!

Great donative albergue. One of the owners is a cook and makes a great dinner. Be nice and tip well ️

Un albergue genial, las hospederas super amables y un servicio genial, la cena con los compañeros super bien, lo recomiendo. El precio es la voluntad, pero como se portan se merecen un 10.

Genial! La atención ha sido magnífica donde además te brindan una cena vegetariana riquísima y desayuno con zumo natural, café con Leche, tostadas y galletas caseras. Albergue de la voluntad que se merece un 10!

The food was fantastic and the decor was beautiful - very original. Our beds were comfortable and the hospitalier was very gracious when we misunderstood the directions we were given about dinner.

Sus hospitaleros hacen honor al nombre, preparan comidas y cenas caseras y una sorpresa.son italianos y las comidas caseras son italianas!

Ich habe mich richtig wohl gefühlt, da man die Leidenschaft der Betreiberin richtig gespürt hat. Sie hat sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück selbst gemacht, was beides sehr gut und dazu sehr günstig war. Sehr schöne Station auf dem Camino.

Kasia is a wonderful host and fabulous cook. Her spirit and personality infuse the atmosphere with warmth and care. The albergue is clean, playfully decorated, and comfortable. There are cold drinks in the refrigerator, a washing machine and dryer, a grass yard in front with benches, and a bar right around the corner. I recommend it to anyone and will stay there myself next around. Thank you, Kasia!

Camino Primitivo without staying at El Texu could be incomplete. There you feel the real atmosphere of the Camino among hospitalera Kasia and other peregrinos. Clean, well-organised, a great chance for a common delicious dinner and breakfast in the morning. Strongly recommend to get to know Kasia, her amazing life story and hints for pilgrims. Worth to stay for a night between Salas and Tineo.

Un albergue excelente, acogedor, muy limpio, con encanto y ambiente familiar. El trato de Kati es excepcional. Te sientes como en casa. Os aconsejo sus barritas energéticas caseras

So nice albergue to stay in and Kasia is the best host. Very tasty dinner and breakfast. Definitely worth of staying there in La Espina.

This is the place to stay in La Espina! Beautifully decorated with so many interesting features! This albergue is very clean and comfortable. The food served there is delicious, so are the home made energy bars! Kasia is incredibly friendly and helpful!

The albergue El Texu in La Espina is a very beautiful and nice place!
The atmosphare is soo lovely and friendly.
There is also a very nice chillout area for drinking a beer after a long hiking day (;

Be sure to try the selfmade food! It is a lot and tasts delicious.
