Albergue el Tulipán de Salas

¡El mejor albergue de todo el Camino de Santiago! Me alojé en este albergue en mayo de 2022 y fue simplemente maravilloso. Excelentes habitaciones, excelente menú vegetariano para la noche y también pude pedir prestada una estera de yoga y una almohada para practicar. ¡La terraza para sentarse afuera también es genial!

¡Realmente disfruté mi estadía aquí! El lugar es maravilloso, limpio y cómodo. Nuestro anfitrión Nicholas fue increíblemente servicial y amable. La cena y el desayuno también fueron excelentes.

El trato del dueño a los empleados es totalmente desagradable. Hace pasar un momento incómodo tanto a los empleados como a los huéspedes que se encuentran de paso en el lugar y tienen que presenciar semejante escena.
Encima fui al baño, no había papel y me ofrecieron para higienizarme papel de diario, o sea, digamos, de cuarta. La próxima duermo en un callejón. No lo recomiendo.

Hotel sencillo. Habitación pequeña con pocos lugares para poner cosas. Baño por arreglar. Falta de flexibilidad en los horarios de apertura a pesar de ser un albergue privado. Desayuno bueno y saludable.

El mejor anfitrión que tuvimos en todo el camino. La comida era excelente y todo estaba limpio y organizado.

Está muy bien situado para los caminantes el Camino Primitivo. Se pernocta muy bien, agradable, buen trato y limpio.

Pasé un tiempo muy agradable en este encantador albergue. El anfitrión fue muy acogedor y sentí un buen ambiente. Debido a problemas de rodilla, me quedé 2 noches y me alegré de poder descansar en este albergue. La comida, cocinada por una señora local, estaba deliciosa y disfruté comiéndola con otros peregrinos de forma comunitaria en una mesa grande. ¡Seguramente puedo recomendar este lugar para tu Camino!

Hemos estado por el verano, nos gustó mucho.la cena ha sido de las mejores del camino, muy rica con ingredientes frescos y saludables.
Un ambiente acogedor y la amabilidad de la cocinera es insuperable!

Excellent food, nice service, good atmosphere. I recommend this place to all the pillgrims. Besides dinners, they have also breakfast from 7 am.

J’ai mangé le menu du soir (sans dormir dans l’auberge) et c’était vraiment ultra bon! Je me suis régalée de l’entrée (soupe aux champignons) et du plat (curry de légumes). Le prix est bon (verre de vin, entrée, plat et dessert pour 12,5€) L’ambiance est cool, les hôtes sont très gentils. J’ai passé un très bon moment pour dîner. Parfait pour finir une bonne journée de marche sur le camino de Santiago).

We only stopped for food, not to stay. For 12 euros we had a three course meal, of absolutely delicious, filling and nutritious vegetarian food. It was so lovely and made us all very happy. The staff were unbelievably sweet and joyous, we had a great time, thank you! Una maravilla! Saludos desde inglaterra

Fantastic place and delicious vegetarian food! Nicolas, the owner, is a very kind and cosmopolitan person who will make you feel very welcome! Furthermore, you can practise many languages with him and his guests! Certainly a place to recommend!

Un paraíso vegano en el camino.
Comida riquísima, hecha en el momento y se nota el cariño de cada plato. La amabilidad y el cuidado de cada detalle se nota desde que entras en el comedor.

L'un de nos plus beaux arrêts en cours de route! Accueil chaleureux en Français, dîner en plein air devant l'auberge sur la place avec un délicieux menu végétarien, lits superposés confortables, bonne douche, possibilité d'utiliser une machine à laver et un sèche-linge, réveil avec des chants grégoriens et un excellent petit-déjeuner. La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée est le besoin de plus d'installations sanitaires.

The albergue El Tulipán de Salas (bedoel La Campa) is situated at a nice little square in Salas. The welcome by Nicolaas, the keeper of the albergue, was friendly and welcome. We liked the organic vegetarian food. Dinner was delicious, especially for an albergue on the Camino. Also breakfast was really nutritious for a long walking. The house has a good vibe. There was an electric piano and guitar that invites to making music. I liked the mindfulness for people, food and details in the decoration of the house.

I stayed there on August 25th, 2021; while doing the Camino Primitivo. One of the best experiences ever! Nicholas, the owner, went the extra mile to make everyone feel truly at home. Yolanda, the cook; prepared a delicious and healthy supper, and she did not allow us to leave without having a great breakfast. Rooms were clean and restrooms neat. If you intend to do the Camino Primitivo, staying at this place is a must.

Stayed 2 nights in Salas due to an injury and I couldn't have asked for a better Albergue to stay. Extremely reasonable prices for a genuinely great experience. The owner and all staff are incredibly welcoming and the perfect embodiment of the Camino.
The food offered for Breakfast and Dinner was delicious and vegetarian friendly, something hard to find here in northern Spain.
If you are doing the Primitivo, this place is a must! Will definitely come back next time!
