Hotel Astoria Playa

Llamé aquí una noche para tomar una copa. Excelente hotel. El entretenimiento fue de primera categoría, así que llamamos 3 veces más para el entretenimiento. El personal es muy amable y lleva sus bebidas a su mesa. Definitivamente volveremos a llamar cuando estemos en Alcudia.

¡Comida increíble y personal increíble!

Recomendamos encarecidamente este hotel para una escapada en Mallorca. El personal fue muy amable y atento. La habitación tenía una vista estupenda y había muchas camas junto a la piscina. Gran distancia a la playa.

Lo más destacado fue la comida. Comida increíble todos los días con tanta variedad y elección para todo tipo de paladares, incluidos los veganos y los sin gluten.

Quiero destacar la atención de todo el personal, particularmente del mozo: Mamuso, excelente muchacho, muy atento a todo a la hora del desayuno. Los grupos de música en la noche, uno mejor que el otro. Las piscinas son maravillosas y se nota el mantenimiento diario en todo el hotel.

En general; ¡Muy lindo! Buen desayuno buffet, bonita zona de piscina (tanto con música como sin ella) con muchas tumbonas disponibles y un personal muy amable. Nuestra habitación estaba limpia y fresca, pero un poco estéril. 2 camas individuales (no es la sensación más lujosa, pero está bien) y un baño con aislamiento de luz y sonido deficiente. A pocos pasos de la playa.

¡Posiblemente la mejor experiencia hotelera de mi vida hasta la fecha y a solo 2 minutos a pie de la playa!

Mi madre y yo llegamos el 1 de octubre, después de haber reservado una estancia de 4 noches para celebrar mi 31 cumpleaños. Desde el momento en que cruzamos las puertas, el personal no ha sido más que cálido, accesible y atento. Incluso nos recibieron con una lonchera reciclable para cada uno, llena de una ensalada grande, sándwiches muy deliciosos, fruta y un yogur, debido a que llegamos tarde por la noche y nos perdimos la cena.lo que me trae muy bien a la comida. ¡Guau! Tanto el desayuno como la cena tienen una presentación impresionante. Piense en una buena comida, ¡no en un buffet estándar! Alimentos disponibles para todos los paladares.

Las bebidas tienen un precio muy razonable; Pagamos una cuenta después de una noche de cócteles y cócteles sin alcohol, aguas y refrescos, y descubrimos que el total era solo 42 €. Mucho más barato que un bar promedio en el Reino Unido, y mucho menos un hotel.

La habitación está absolutamente impecable (habitación doble estándar con vista a la piscina) y tiene un impresionante baño con puertas y paredes de vidrio opaco. Las camas son súper cómodas y se proporciona ropa de cama adicional para las noches más frías. Las almohadas también eran lujosas. La habitación contaba con caja fuerte, mininevera y televisor inteligente Samsung grande. El balcón ofrece un amplio espacio y se ilumina maravillosamente durante las noches, hasta las 23: 00 horas.

Ambas áreas de la piscina son una experiencia muy placentera; Preferimos la piscina con un DJ tocando música chill out, pero la zona chill out (piscina tranquila) es ideal si buscas leer un libro o simplemente disfrutar de un poco de soledad.

Todo el hotel tiene acabados de muy alto nivel y todavía estoy intentando descubrir por qué no se les ha otorgado el estatus de 5 estrellas.

Gran hotel, excelente comida con mucha variedad, entretenimiento fantástico todas las noches, buena ubicación a 2 minutos de la playa con tiendas, bares, restaurantes, pero es el excelente personal el que realmente hace que las vacaciones sean buenas, no pueden hacer más por ti, muchas gracias. ¡¡¡¡hecho!

El hotel es realmente bonito y la ubicación también, pero lo que lo hace realmente especial es la gente. Son absolutamente increíbles; sé que algunos dirían que es su trabajo y que este es un hotel de 4 estrellas, pero realmente van más allá. Espero que la gerencia también sepa que la gente que trabaja allí es increíble y hace que este hotel tenga calificaciones tan buenas y los trate como tal.

¡Felicitaciones al chef y la comida es excepcional! Tenía mis dudas sobre reservar media pensión, pero a pesar de ser muy quisquilloso con la comida, ¡quedé realmente satisfecho!

Además, (y esto es un PLUS absolutamente enorme) si tienes intolerancia/alergia/estás embarazada, etc, te lo preguntan directamente desde el check-in. Cuando tengas restricciones dietéticas, se informará al personal de cena/desayuno y te preguntarán si deseas llamar al chef para que te explique el menú del buffet. En caso afirmativo, el chef viene y le explica cada pequeño plato en detalle para que sepa qué elegir con confianza. ¡¡¡Asombroso!

Me impresionó mucho el personal y obtuvieron más de 5 salidas. El hotel en sí también es una gran elección, con bonitas piscinas, muy tranquilo y por supuesto cerca de la playa.

Nos alojamos en el hotel por 4 noches y volveríamos inmediatamente. El desayuno y la cena son muy variados y tienen un sabor muy, muy bueno. Las habitaciones son blancas y pocas veces he dormido tan bien como en estas camas. Tamaño de las habitaciones absolutamente correcto.
Todo el personal es increíblemente amable y cortés, te sientes realmente bienvenido. Hay 2 piscinas, cada una con un bar. Las tumbonas de la piscina son geniales, no las de plástico baratas, sino unas muy bonitas, anchas y con cojines muy gruesos, muy cómodas. Los precios de las bebidas son más que justos, incluso bastante baratos. 2,50 capuchino es absolutamente justo.

Es mediocre en general. Tratan muy mal a los empleados y de información de primera se que les estafan dinero de las nóminas. Hacen bouling y más de un empleado se ha tenido que dar de baja por la presión psicologica a la que someten. Unos ladrones y estafadores en toda regla. No aconsejo el lugar.

Wow! Super leckeres Frühstück, total freundliches Personal, das Ambiente war absolut entspannt. Beim Check-In gibt's Sekt und es wird einem auch sonst jeder Wünsch nahezu von den Augen abgelesen.
100% Empfehlung.

Stayed here for a week in a Deluxe Junior Suite. Great room with hot tub, lovely food with lots of variety, fantastic staff, clean throughout, and great facilities. Can't comment on the entertainment as didn't experience it. Had the best week and would return in a flash!

Had a few issues with the room but they were swiftly sorted out.

Lovely hotel, very clean and all staff were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend to any couples or friends really nice peaceful atmosphere on one pool more lively and fun on the other pool also perfect for whatever mood you’re in. All the meals were really lovely lots of choice and variety and again service was excellent. Would definitely come back to holiday here again.

Schönstes Hotel im Raum Alcudia! Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen ausgezeichnet und alles war sehr sauber! Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es für Kleinigkeiten, wie z.b dass beim Jacuzzi der Drehhahn zum Ablassen des Wassers nicht funktionierte. Wie konnten uns trotzdem gut erholen, sehr empfehlenswert!

Super hôtel! Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve! La nourriture est très variée, il y en a pour tout les goûts.
Si vous voulez vous détendre c’est le bon endroit. Les chambres sont super propre et très bien insonorisées. Le personnel est super chouette et le concert du soir était vraiment bien!

A very nice, easygoing hotel. We (2 persons) stayed here for seven nights, on a vacation. As a couple in our fourties we were looking for a relaxing, adult oriented hotel and we found one in Astoria Playa. Our room was situated on the 6th floor, facing the pool that's situated right next to the hotel restaurant. The room (Junior suite) was really clean, and spacious enough for the two of us. The room was made and stocked up every day, and it was always like new when we came back.

Some have complained about the live music, that was performed by the pool in the inner courtyard every night. I must say that we had no problem with it whatsoever. Granted, our room was on the corner, farthest away from the stage. Even though we didn't go and see the artists on purpose, we enjoyed the performances as we were strolling around the hotel in the evenings, and it's really not that loud. The sound was heard all the way up to our room but very faintly, when you closed the terrace door. We didn't lose any sleep because of the music, and it didn't go on through the whole night anyway. That being said, all of the artists seemed to be very professional and gathered nice crowds every evening.

I should also mention, that no noise was heard from the streets during the night either. No honking of horns or anything like that. The hotel is situated in a pretty tranquil part of the city, and I guess there aren't any big clubs nearby.

If you want peace in the daytime though, I would suggest going to the aforementioned pool, since it's dead quiet there during the day. The pool just outside the main entrance, is clearly targeted towards a more "clubbing"/younger crowd. There's music playing all the time, and it's pretty loud, if you'd just like to relax. Nothing wrong with that either, and it's good to have the option.

We didn't take advantage of the dinner but the breakfast was pretty good. I can't think of anything that wasn't on offer, that I would have liked to have. In my experience, most all of the food on offer was fresh and tasted good. The dining hall was kept clean meticulously, and if I may say so, maybe a bit too much so. If you didn't guard your cutlery and plates, they were snatched away in an instant. I understand the idea behind it, and it's not that dissimilar compared to a lot of other hotels. But maybe give the customer a bit more space in this regard.

The main selling point of this hotel though, is it's staff. Everybody was very friendly, and in good spirits all the time. It didn't matter what time it was or which staff member we met, everybody greeted us with a smile and a greeting. We could ask anything, and they would gladly help. No problem was left unsolved. We also rented a car through the hotel reception, and it was a smooth operation from start to finish.

So, TLDR; Want a clean, working hotel where you can relax, without excessive noise and commotion? This is it.

Estuvimos hace dos dias, el trato magnifico, en recepción, la habitación súper limpias y el jacuzzi perfecto.
Cenamos en el buffete y todo espectacular, la comida de calidad, el trato increíble, cocinero y camareros sin duda volveremos.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here. Quality of service is outstanding: staff is friendly and helpful, attentive and ready to help with any request; they speak many languages and are very professional.
Food is very good (we had both breakfast and dinner), with a wide variety of choices and in great quantity. Rooms are nice and comfy - we loved the bed, and enjoyed the whirlpool bath!
Location is also not bad, not far from nice beaches, shops and nightlife. It takes approx. 30 min walking to get to the old town of Alcúdia.

Excellent all round from the staff at reception, the restaurant staff, chefs all have smiles on their faces. The room we have is on the top floor (6) with a massive bed, large TV and jacuzzi. The balcony is pretty large as well. A great holiday and we still have 4 days to go!

Our first impression was that Hotel Astoria Playa is very easy to get to, being right next to a bus stop, and looks impressive and very respectable. Every member of staff we met here was friendly and helpful, welcoming us with a refreshing glass of something cold to drink. They helped us with directions, activity ideas and hired a car for us.

The food was generally superb - we ate far too much for most of our stay, as there is so much choice and all delicious. The facilities are great, and having two pools is lovely. The evening entertainments were of variable quality, but some of them were excellent. Very attentive waiters, some of whom went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and made us feel both welcome and ‘at home’.

The only downside was that the shower splashed a lot of water onto the floor of the bathroom during use, and the internal bathroom wall allows the light and sound through. This meant we had to go in the dark at night to avoid waking our partner up, and we were glad we were married, as hearing your partner could be rather awkward early in a relationship.

We loved our stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break away from any children!

Que te cobren 17€ de tasa turística viniendo de españa me parece bastante fuerte. El trato y todo lo demás bien, pero también el cierto que el personal de limpieza nos partió el cargador del móvil y no nos prestaron otro estando todas las tiendas cerradas, también el verdad que la primera cena pedimos dos cervezas, la camarera se equivocó y nos cobraron la equivocada y la que habíamos pedido desde el principio. Muy amablemente si, pero nos lo cobraron.
A la hora del trato, muy diferenciado en el comedor según el aspecto físico, sientes que los apestados somos los españoles.

En fin, comer muy bien y el hotel sencillito sencillito. Quitando esas cosas, lo demás fue correcto.

Adults only! Excellent atmosphere, big and generous buffet, evening entertainment. The only thing we found somehow weard, is the fact that the safe in the room is charged if being used. But all in one, we had a most cool holiday on the island!

Stayed at the hotel over Easter and whilst the weather was disappointing the hotel certainly was not. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Sarah on Reception was a trainee but went out of her way to help with trips to the old town and sorting the watching of football. The food in the hotel was varied and excellent quality. The sun beds around the pool were the most comfortable ever. The room was also lovely and the balconies private. The entertainment was superb from Rock band, Tina Turner lookalike and violinists. Sanaa and all the staff worked so hard. Special mention for the young trainees they have passed the test. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

La habitación con jacuzzi es magnifica, la cama enorme y muy cómoda, puedes ver la tele desde el jacuzzi y la terraza es muy grande con vistas a la piscina. El personal es superatento, y la cena y el desayuno han sido de las mejores que he comido en hoteles con buffet.

Una habitación preciosa, todos los detalles cuidados. Limpieza y cocina, super bien y el personal atento, amable, agradable y profesional. Sin duda a cumplido nuestras expectativas! Volveremos:)

Modernes Hotel mit hellen Zimmern, leckerem Essen und freundlichem Personal. Hier fehlt mir nur ein Wellness-Bereich (Sauna etc.).

Shame. Hotel is lovely but shows that we were so.looking forward to have finished before the season ends. Had we known would have chosen another hotel.

Das Essen und der Service sind super toll! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Stern Abzug für den Zustand vom Badezimmer-schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr so schön anzuschauen.

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones estupendas, el hotel en muy buena situación si quieres hacer excursiones como nosotros y si prefieres no moverte de la zona, tienes todas las comodidades para hacerlo. Todo el equipo humano del hotel te hacen sentirte como en casa, agradecer su especial atención a Israel que nos atendió todos los días en desayunos y cenas, a Francisca que nos aconsejaba rutas para visitar y como no a Sanaa por su atención en que todo estuviera genial. Muchas gracias a todos equipazo!

Premier séjour dans cet établissement et quelle expérience! L'hôtel est luxueux, l'hygiène est impeccable, la nourriture est excellente pour un buffet à volonté. Mais le must c'est l'attitude du personnel de l'hôtel qui est irréprochable: avenants, souriants et efficaces. J'ai également apprécié les piscines ainsi que les animations qui ont rendu mon séjour très agréable.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Astoria Playa sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, das Personal (Service an Rezeption, Bar, Reinigungspersonal,) immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen war vielfältig und wahnsinnig lecker.

Arrived yesterday, booking in and welcome was excellent. Very impressed with dinner last night, hotel in a great location, its lovely.

Convenient to beach. Rooms good size and clean. Breakfast and dinner has good selection and interesting food. Dinner was much better than expected. Drinks costs are not included for dinner and a little expensive. Safe is extra cost for each day, but not too much cost. However did notice the shower could use an update. Good atmosphere and nightly music.
