LINCE Spanish School

¡Realmente disfruté mi semana de clase inmersiva de español en LINCE! Ira fue muy paciente, fácil de entender e hizo que las conversaciones fueran divertidas. Me sentí cómoda tratando de hablar y expresarme. Disfruté los ejercicios que eran educativos sin ser demasiado básicos.

Tomé varios días de instrucción con Diana y la pasé muy bien. Era una profesora muy paciente y explicaba puntos gramaticales complicados de forma muy sucinta. Hubo una buena combinación de trabajar con el libro y simplemente tener conversaciones. También siento que ella pudo evaluar dónde necesitaba ayuda adicional, así que pasamos un día revisando cosas que ya sé pero con las que tengo problemas antes de pasar a material nuevo.

También me dio buenos consejos sobre cosas que hacer en Bilbao y dónde comer. Durante los recesos de clase, otro estudiante y yo nos unimos a los maestros para tomar cafés y tortillas, lo cual fue increíble.

Recomiendo ampliamente esta escuela y me encantaría volver a estudiar por mucho más tiempo.

Estuve en Bilbao 6 meses, habiendo llegado nunca había estudiado español. Me lo pasé muy bien durante los cursos organizados aquí. Un buen equilibrio entre conversación y gramática. Flexibilidad de horario y buen precio. Si volviera, volvería aquí! Muy recomendable

I had a wonderful experience learning Spanish at Lince! Alina was a fantastic teacher and the whole team at Lince was absolutely lovely, and very accommodating and helpful. The classes really helped me improve my vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Highly recommended!

The best language school to learn Spanish, for sure! You notice a lot of improvement already in a few weeks because of the variety of excercises in class. I took the intensive course for five months and I enjoyed every class, now I can speak Spanish pretty well and definitely understand (almost) everything. They use the best kind of books per level so you'll know what you're working towards. Another thing is that all the teachers are really nice and they'll make sure you enjoy the classes, it turned out to be like a small family for me:)

The best academy in Bilbao! Lince was helpful in trying to find a time that worked for me and my schedule and the classes were excellent. Patient, kind and open to helping in whatever area you need to improve your Spanish language. I could not recommend enough!

I've been taking language classes at Lince since about 4 weeks and massively improved my Spanish with the intense course. The teachers are very friendly and prepare the lessons very well, adapt to your knowledge level and use a variety of materials. They accommodated my schedule and I could skip days or hours without any problems. In the half hour break they go to the surrounding pinxto bars so you can get to know the area and other students if you want. Overall I'm very happy with the experience!

Excellent Spanish teaching. At first my level was not very high but the intensive course at Lince quickly improved my Spanish so I'm very happy. The class sizes are very small and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely do it again. The course I chose was 10-2pm every weekday with afternoons free. The school is very close to the metro and you can travel all over the city very fast. Bilbao is really nice to live in, the metro goes directly to several beaches and there are lots of other interesting places to visit in the surrounding area with frequent buses and trains (GoT 'Dragonstone' castle, Durango, Orduna, and for the weekend Santander and San Sebastian are only 90 minutes by bus). A great school and city to learn Spanish!

LINCE is such a great atmosphere for learning. The teachers are very professional, and personalized their lessons to fit my needs. They are also incredibly friendly, and very welcoming— having hosted an international dinner during my time at the academy. The school is clean and modern, and comfortable to ensure focused learning. My Spanish really improved, and I looked forward to going to every lesson. Highly recommend.

I have been studying at Lince spanishschool for around 6 month now and really like it. All the teachers are very kind and very competent. Another greay part is, when you are a foreigner they have some events like pintox night where you can meet new people and have a great evening. I can only recommend it!

I stayed in Lince Spanish School for three months over the summer and I loved it. I had Alina as teacher and she helped me so much to learn Spanish. She's a fantastic teacher! Diana helped me a lot before the school, coming to Spain and finding an apartment. She is very helpful and made this whole thing much easier. The school's location is great and I loved walking to school. Bilbao is a great city! Would def come again!

I have been attending Lince for several months now. I began with private Skype class and have transitioned into evening classes twice a week. This school has been wonderful and very accommodating to my schedule. The teachers are fantastic and really care about the students. They are beyond helpful not only during class, but outside as well. They often do get togethers, go for pintxos, and even do dinners. I am very pleased with this program and can't recommend the school enough.

I had a wonderful two weeks in the LINCE school during October-November 2018. Prior to coming to the school, my writing and reading comprehension were almost B1 level while my levels of auditory and verbal expression were significantly lower.
I had individual classes every day with Alina and Diana, mainly focusing on my weaknesses but also providing a useful recap of grammar. What I really enjoyed was learning about the very interesting Spanish culture and customs - a number are quite different to my home country.
The lessons were very successful. By the end of the two weeks, I was meeting people casually (in bars, on the streets, etc) and surprised myself at my ability to finally be able to communicate effectively. This is a great feeling. Aprender una lengua es un viaje que merece mucho la pena!
I was awarded a certificate for reaching B1 level for all Spanish skills.
100% recommend the school if you want to progress your Spanish level quickly.

I would give 6 starts if it would be possible. I took classes 2 times a week with Ira as a process to get ready for my B2 spanish language exam. She is not just the best, kindest teacher ever, but so patient and speaks perfect English, so we could make a huge progress. When I moved home from Spain, we continued the classes on Skype- had the same great experience as in person. Thank you!:)

Absolutely worth it! Small school, small classes which allow you to study more indiviually and improve your skills quickly. I really enjoyed my time there!

I would like to share my complete satisfaction with my recent learning course in Spanish in “LINCE” Spanish School as everything went perfect since the inscription till the completion of the course: nice attitude of all the staff, convenient time schedule, combination of perfect learning materials with competent teaching allowing a good progress in the study and a reasonable price. A very good experience.

Durante un mes, yo he estudiado espanol en Lince. Ira era mi profesora. Las cases eran muy bien y divertidas! Por que las classes son basante pequenas, hay la posibilidad de preguntar muchas cosas y la profesora te puede ayudar en una maniera individual. Creo que yo he aprendido mucho y estoy muy contenta de haber eligido Lince. Ahora llevo estudiando espanol con Ira por Skype. Gracias por todo Ira y Diana!

Brilliant teachers, so friendly and welcoming, gave great knowledge of the city, and took us out for drinks and pinxtos. Classes were very small and very personalised. Thank you!

I had a fun and productive 2 weeks at Lince. The teachers are all super friendly and good at explaining all about the language and life in the Basque Country and Spain. Bilbao is a wonderful city to spend time when not in class also!

I spent 3 weeks at LINCE in September 2017, and was extremely pleased with the small size of class (3 to 4 students), the superb instruction provided by Iraide, the excellent text/workbook, and the extra effort of Diana to line up Spanish cooking classes for me. I highly recommend LINCE for a great learning experience in an intimate setting.

A great place to start/ continue learning Spanish. Very nice and attentive people (who do speak English), small groups and a friendly atmosphere in class. One can also go out with other students and join various social events organised by the school - a nice bonus and a great opportunity to make new friends.

El metodo de enseñanza es atractivo, las instalaciones bien unbicadas, las profesoras tienen mucha experiencia, son divertidas y hacen que las clases sean muy cercanas. Además nos ayudan a integrarnos con personas de todo el mundo con las Cenas Internacionales, y conocer la ciudad y la cultura local con salidas en grupos. ¡Una exeperiencia increíble!

I spent just a week studying here with Ira, but I'm hoping to be back. Classes are small and the teachers are very attentive. The curriculum is well rounded, I noticed significant improvement in my reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension. Outside of class, Bilbao is an incredible city to explore and the food is unmatched!

I was Having a classes with Ira in Lince Spanish School for almost 2 months and I can honestly say that she was just great, she have done her best to be able to teach me as much as possible during such a short term! Enjoyed my 3 weeks at LINCE with Ira she is a great teacher very patient and goes at the pace of the student. There isn't unecessary pressure and the cafe break during the day is nice gives you a break but also good for meeting other students and getting to know the teachers. In summary great teachers, diverse curriculum (written, audio, games, etc.) Friendly environment. I would go back again!

I am a beginner, and have been learning here for over a month now. I am enjoying the lessons and my teacher is great.
