Aguita House

Decepcionado por el servicio en principio porque no todos los que trabajan acá hablan español. Por otro lado pedí con dos semanas de anticipación una cama en la litera baja, me lo confirmaron y cuando llegué simplemente me ignoraron y no les interesó. Me atendió un señor alto prepotente que en principio no hablaba español y por otro lado le dió a otra persona mi ubicación y me enviaron al tercer piso- al día siguiente me volvieron a bajar. Una falta de respeto. Las camas están muy viejas y suenan demasiado - los colchones más viejos que mi bisabuelo y las almohadas son de papel no de primera sino de cuarta. Estuve con la mejor disposición desde un inicio pero he pasado un mal momento. El trato con el resto de chicos fue decente, pero igual, nadie me ayudó ni asistió. Gente llegando borracha por las noches y no teniendo el mínimo respeto por el buen convivir. Lo mejor que tiene este lugar es la ubicación, si vas al hostal solo, no es el hostal más sociable tampoco. Me siento estafado por toda la situación comentada, creo que dormir en la calle es igual o mejor.

Vamos, esta es la mejor gente que existe.
El ambiente, el surf, la playa, los eventos increíbles y todo junto lo hace perfecto.
Realmente lo recomiendo, lo digo en serio. CASA AGUITA

Personal amable, rápidamente te sientes como si estuvieras en una gran familia. Me encantó mi estadía, camas limpias, excelente ubicación frente a la playa de Las Canteras. Tenía lágrimas en los ojos el día que me fui.

Un lugar que se queda en tu corazón, una estructura bien cuidada, muchachos excepcionales que te hacen sentir como en casa. Si buscas un lugar tranquilo para quedarte, te lo recomiendo mucho, una ubicación excelente tanto para los que quieren vivir la playa como para poder moverse en transporte público.

Nice hostel, at good location, pricing is cool. One of the hostel who brings all their customers into socialization, that a big plus for me. Good to know people around the world. I enjoy my stay here and i will always repeat anytime i plan to visit Grans Canaria.

I stayed in Aguita for three weeks and I can totally recommend this place!

The hostel is located close to the beach, I could even see the sea from my bed. I really enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. But not only the location is nice, the hostel has such a unique vibe, you‘ll feel home from the moment you enter the hallway. Aguita feels like a big family: for example every Sunday they offer a big „Family Dinner“, where everybody can join. A group of volunteers choose a dish and cook for a big group of people. During the week and especially on the weekends the hostel also offers different activities for the guests like roadtrips, barbecue, yoga, surfing, and lots more.

Also to mention is that the volunteers are the heart of the hostel, they work so much and fill the house with love. The hostel is very clean, even tho it is an old building that gets dirty pretty easily.

At the end of my stay I can only recommend this hostel, especially for solo travelers. I had such a good time here, was making new friends and enjoying the Canarian sun.

It is hard to explain how welcoming this place is and how this old building attracts individuals that resonate with each other so well. Como albergue para jóvenes sólo puedo recomendar el alojamiento. Cualquiera que imagine vivir en un hotel se equivoca, por supuesto, pero de eso se trata un albergue. El entorno y la ubicación son muy recomendables. Estábamos allí para surfear, lo cual se lo recomiendo a todos. El albergue también ofrece actividades que podrás vivir con todos los residentes y voluntarios y así crecer juntos como grupo. Los voluntarios que conocí son jóvenes geniales y de mente abierta. También les gusta aceptar críticas y mejorarlas. Las camas son un poco viejas y chirriantes, pero esto no fue un punto negativo para mí. Si estás pensando si esto es adecuado para ti, no deberías pensártelo dos veces, simplemente hazlo, no te arrepentirás.

Agüita House is the perfect place to stay in Las Palmas, nice hostel with amazing people. Everything is very clean and the terrace is amazing. They organise a lot of activities like yoga in the terrace and road trips. The volunteers and the owner are amazing and very helpful. I will definitely love to stay here again!

I lost a valuable gold chain and the management found it and send it by post office to Denmark.
This does not happen in many places! Really cool vibes and the sound of the sea.is amazing!

Great time spent at Agüita. All the necessary stuff for travelers is available with fun activities happening normally during the afternoon/evening (tapas night, karaoke, surfing, yoga, beach volley, etc.). It is quite easy to meet other guests ;) and location is very good with a very nice view over the beach from the terrace. Big thanks to the staff (cheers to Anika and the rest of the volunteers). And who knows, I may come back in the future:)

The vibe of this place is just incredible. Volunteers do everything to make you feel welcomed. They have an activity for every day and you never miss anything thanks to the WhatsApp group. You just never feel alone in this place and it can dangerously quickly become your home away from home (with a much better view).: D The terrace brings people together and you make new friends very easily. I couldn't choose a better place to stay at for the past 11 days. Can't wait to be back Agüita, much love!

Es difícil explicar lo acogedor que es este lugar y cómo este antiguo edificio atrae a personas que resuenan tan bien entre sí. Dado que la experiencia en un albergue depende en gran medida de los voluntarios, me gustaría agradecer enormemente a Joana y Oly, quienes, para mí, formaron el corazón del Aguita. Agüita is amazing and the best place to stay in Las Palmas! It's perfectly located and the beach is directly in front of the door. Just make urself a coffee in the morning and drink it outside, feet in the waves! I love it.
Also the staff is super friendly. Daily activities and gatherings make it easy to meet the other guests.:)
I was not lucky with the weather for a few days. But the rainbows made up for the rain!

My arrival at Aguïta hostel was very chill, good vibes. The hostel is perfect when you are solo traveling and want to meet new people. Aguïta organizes lots of fun activities like beach volleybal, tapas nights and barbecues. Special thanks for Anika for making me feel at home and being so helpful!

¡Me quedé en Aguita durante tres semanas y puedo recomendar totalmente este lugar!

El albergue está situado cerca de la playa, incluso podía ver el mar desde mi cama. Realmente disfruté quedarme dormido y despertarme con el sonido de las olas. Pero no sólo la ubicación es agradable, el albergue tiene un ambiente tan único que te sentirás como en casa desde el momento en que ingresas al pasillo. Aguita se siente como una gran familia: por ejemplo, todos los domingos ofrecen una gran "cena familiar", donde todos pueden unirse. Un grupo de voluntarios elige un plato y lo cocina para un grupo grande de personas. Durante la semana y especialmente los fines de semana, el albergue también ofrece diferentes actividades para los huéspedes como roadtrips, barbacoa, yoga, surf y mucho más.

También mencionar que los voluntarios son el corazón del albergue, trabajan mucho y llenan la casa de amor. El albergue está muy limpio, aunque es un edificio antiguo que se ensucia con bastante facilidad.

Al final de mi estancia sólo puedo recomendar este albergue, especialmente para personas que viajan solas. Me lo pasé muy bien aquí, hice nuevos amigos y disfruté del sol canario.

Estando en territorio español es de esperar que el personal hable mi idioma y no me tengan que explicar las cosas en inglés por qué no hablan el idioma castellano. Es una lastima que en una comunidad Autónoma con una tasa de desempleo tan alta no contraten a gente que busca trabajo. No me gusta nada eso.

El sitio muy bien situado, pero la limpieza brilla por su ausencia y las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear

J'ai séjourné dans cette auberge en juillet. Il y avait des punaises de lits!
J'ai eu des piqûres sur tout le corps, j'ai fait une énorme allergie.
Même en ayant prévenu le staff la chambre est restée ouverte et de nombreux voyageurs ce sont enchaînés.
Après 5 jours de négociation, nous avons été reloger dans l'auberge TAMARAN, dirigée par le même propriétaire.
IL Y AVAIT AUSSI DES PUNAISES DE LITS.
Nous avons donc quitté immédiatement l'auberge et nous sommes retrouvés à la rue un dimanche à 22h avec les quelques euros de compensations.
Même si les photos semblent superbes et que l'ambiance y est bonne, je ne trouve pas ça normal et je déconseille cette auberge.
L'hygiène dépend du volontaire en charge de la nettoyer et parfois, ça laisse à désirer.
Je suis très déçue et ça à vraiment gâché mon séjour.

Incredible place, fantastic people, could not have dreamed of a better stay! This place has won a special place in my heart and I would not be able to forget it for sure. They have a beach just 5 meters in front of the house! Have been waking up to the sounds of the ocean this whole time. Highly recommend!

J’ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cette auberge car elle avait de bon avis et une bonne moyenne.
J’ai été très déçu car l’auberge n’étais pas propre et aucunes activités n’étais proposées.

La estancia no fué nada buena. Cogimos una habitación de cuatro para tener más intimidad y ni si quiera tenía ventanas para ventilar la habitación. Las almohadas eran planas y para rematar los colchones tenían chinches.
Lo siguiente a comentar el la essez de baños y su estado. Mamparas negras.

Finalmente añadir que no todo fue malo, el personal muy agradable. Pero para mí lo primordial es la calidad de las habitaciones y la limpieza

Es súper barato, recomiendo buscarlo en booking. Muy bien situado en zona centro con cafeterías, centros comerciales, librerías, tiendas y supermercados al rededor. Hacen mucha yoga! Y te explican todo súper bien. Son todos muy amables y conoces a mucha gente!
