Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje

Hola y un cordial saludo,
Finalmente encuentro el tiempo para expresar que todos los empleados, sin importar en qué área del resort, hacen un trabajo abrumador, cálido y excelente.
Mis impresiones a este respecto fueron mucho más allá de lo que esperaba.
Fue mi primera vez en Tenerife y visitaré la isla nuevamente.
Además, cabe destacar positivamente la limpieza y la absoluta amabilidad de todo el personal.
Sin embargo, básicamente tengo dos cosas importantes de las que quejarme aquí.
En mi opinión, todo el personal está mal pagado por el esfuerzo que ponen cada día.
Sin embargo, no se puede saber al mirarlos y trabaja con orgullo y diligencia por sus salarios inadecuados.
El segundo punto es culinario, la comida era o es buena, pero lamentablemente muy poco regional, sólo un 20% de cocina española.
La oferta de bebidas tampoco es lo suficientemente sostenible.
No había jugos naturales recién exprimidos.
Por lo demás, todo fue consistentemente bueno y abundante y todos mis deseos siempre se cumplieron a pedido.
Me gustaría agradecer a todos los que hicieron posible para mí unas vacaciones encantadoras.tener el honor

Muy lindo complejo. Noté que parte estaba un poco anticuada. Pero en general buen servicio, excelente personal. El aire acondicionado funcionaba mal y el minibar no funcionaba en absoluto al principio. Posteriormente recibimos un reemplazo para este.
Buen servicio con limpieza todos los días, toallas limpias y una botella grande de agua nueva.

El hotel en si no está mal, es bastante grande, la comida es bastante buena en el buffet con mucha variedad y tiene varias piscinas zona de espectáculos tiendecitas bar "discoteca". Etc la animación es una de las mejores de los hoteles que hemos estado, los chicos y chicas son super simpáticos y tienen actividades a casi todas horas, además de hacer unos espectáculos por la noche que definen bien la palabra, son unos cracks, y es de lo mejor que tiene el hotel la animación.
Pero aunque nuestra experiencia fue por ese lado muy buena.tuvo su parte mala, los trabajadores de recepción una pena que sean lo primero y lo último que te encuentras, no están dispuestos a ayudarte, no saben supuestamente cosas que preguntamos y deberían saber, y al final en un cambio de turno tuvimos suerte que una de las chicas nos pudo ayudar, los camareros de la supuesta discoteca"" cerraban a las 11 en punto y 11: 01 ya no podías tomarte absolutamente nada, para ser un hotel español, veo que todo cierra bastante pronto, se quedaba abierto el karaoke hasta las 2 pero tenías que pagar las bebidas, si señores en un todo incluido te pagas las bebidas a partir de las 11 de la noche, y en el resto del día también si no quieres beber garrafón.luego había bastantes cucarachas, aunque es cierto que las habitaciones estaban limpias y allí no había pero en la zona de "pueblo" del hotel estaba minado,
Los camareros del buffet la mayoría simpáticos y rápidos, a destacar Elena que nos atendió super bien, aunque los demás sq los pobres no daban más a basto.los que tenían más cargo además de que no hacían nada eran bastante estirados, si hay tan pocos camareros para tantas mesas no entiendo que tantos que había de alto rango no ayudarán a nada y estuvieran mirando y hablando entre ellos todo el rato pero bueno y por último pedimos que porfavor nos mandarán al email un correo que mandan a los clientes para valorar el servicio y hotel en general una vez te vas, que es el que realmente vale para ellos, pero después de un mes todavía no nos lo han enviado esta es la realidad del hotel un sabor agridulce.

Tuve otras vacaciones increíbles aquí con un excelente personal familiar y una relajación total, no puedo esperar a las próximas 1

Las habitaciones se pueden renovar un poco, ¡pero todo lo que necesita está allí!

Es agradable aquí, bastante familiar. Sin embargo, tenga cuidado, ya que el personal intentará engañarlo con una vista de la calle desde la habitación. Siempre pregunte por la vista a la piscina o al mar (no, no tiene que pagar extra por esto, así que puede preguntar y es gratis). Parece haber un problema con las cucarachas que visitan las habitaciones, así que tenga en cuenta ese y otro problema, no estoy seguro de si esto sigue siendo un problema, pero a estas pequeñas aves también les encanta visitar el comedor y picotear la comida, especialmente el enorme pila de panqueques en el desayuno. Si esto sigue siendo un problema persistente, entonces debe solicitar poder comer en el hotel hermano al otro lado de la calle, ya que hice esto y estaban felices de atender a mi familia.

Perfecto en todos los aspectos, limpieza, animación, comida, todo de 10, las instalaciones están genial y todo el personal de matrícula de honor

This hotel is absolutely huge, it is like a cruise ship.the place is an amazing experience, it is very well presented, and provides a professional service which is incredible.all the Staff and Management are a pleasure to be served by, they are all extremely helpful and polite. The hotels service is second to none, the restaurants promote a 1st class service with perfect conditions, with an array of different themed menus and styles, from traditional Mediterranean to further afield such as Italian, Mexican and even Asian, there are tastes for all.with various bars throughout the complex, including a lovely cocktail bar.everybody involved are a credit to themselves, to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Bahia a must!

The hotel and staff were first class. Spotlessly clean, always cleaning tables and chairs when people left. The rooms are lovely sheets changed EVERY day, amazing so much variety, tried all alacarte, liked the Asia the best. The Hotel has a lot of steps, so not very good for people with limited mobility, but they do have a lot of lifts. The lobby bar is were we had our evening drinks, staff were lovely, especially Lourde, a waitress, she went above and beyond. Reception helped us.print our forms, before we left, thankyou for that. The cocktail bar was nice for a drink before dinner, different ones each night. Loved the way if people put their towels on sunbeds, before 8 o clock was asked to remove them! We had a lovely holiday, with fabulous weather, we will return here as for us everything was perfect, and well done telling people to put on their masks.before they could be served. As Arnie said We will be back.

Habitaciones totalmente desfasada y sin matenimiento durante tiempo, por lo que hace que tengan multitud de averías, salones grande como restaurantes o zanas de loby o recepción sin aire acondicionado y hace que el calor pueda llegar ser muy incómodo. Wifi nefasto (no funciona casi nunca o se cae la señal), la tv no funciona casi nunca, por no decir nunca. Le falta una buena inversión. Nada cómodo para gente con dificultades de mobilidad.

Certains services auquel nous avons le plaisir de profiter dans d'autres Bahia principe dans le monde, ne sont pas disponibles au Bahia principe sunlight Tenerife. Mais je peux dire qu'avec la possibilité de se déplacer dans deux Bahia, c'est franchement super sympa

For context- stayed 1 week in November 2021as a couple.

General-
The vibe is retirement home and young families. It's definitely not a spring break or stag/hen week feel.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is a long thin strip of land on a hill above a rocky headland. As a result it is a long walk from reception to the bottom pool and there are 144 steps from top to bottom. There's ramps and lifts for access.
Reception is well staffed and helpful. You can book lots of things through the app but if you want to take the courtesy bus to playa Americans you need to do that through reception.
Rooms- we had a standard room on the 5th floor of block 5. Our balcony got the briefest of evening sun and looked across a ravine to the hotels on the other side. The room itself was a decent size with a nice ensuite.
Beds were two singles pushed together which is not great. One of them was really squeaky.
Maid service was good. You get one bottle of water per day but only when you let the maid in and if you don't, no water in the room.
Restaurants- the main buffet was good food across all three meals. There was a good variety on each night and changes to the menu daily. The main issue in the buffet was lack of staff. Those working seemed to be run off their feet and struggling to keep up. Getting drinks was hit and miss. Twice at breakfast we finished before being offered coffee to the table.
The a la cartes have a bit of a reputation for poor food and we found this to be true. First we tried the grill and while our steaks seemed to be cooked nicely, they were chewy almost to the point of being inedible, suggesting that the cuts were very poor quality. Second we tried the Mexican. Food there was better but still not as good as the buffet so we stuck with the main restaurant after that. While service in the a la cartes was better, the food didn't make it worth it.
The pool bar and Mediterranean do lunchtime food but it's mainly burgers hotdogs and pizza. Lunch at the main restaurant was worth the walk. In the buffet, try the Canarian potatoes (papas arragudas) and mojo sauce. This is a local specialty and it's done really well here. No fish has never disappointed.
Bars- One of the limitations of this hotel is the bars. There's one main bar beneath reception open from morning till 11pm. It's well staffed and efficient. All inclusive drinks are now all non-branded and there's some common drinks not on the list such as port. The house wine is fairly rough. Safe options are the beer and the rose cava both of which are basic and drinkable. Cocktails are mostly spirits added to a pre-mix.
While there's a couple of other places serving drinks down by the pools, these are mostly geared up for self service beer and wine. The only comprehensive bar is the one beneath reception. For a hotel this size that seems like underprovision.
Pools and beaches- there are several pools all of which are clean and well maintained. There's plenty of space around them and while there's the typical morning rush to reserve a favourite set of beds, we found that you could find somewhere at any time even though the hotel was busy.
There's a beach next to the hotel but it's very rocky and not what most people are looking for. A few minutes down the coast there's a small sandy beach with no facilities. To compensate for the lack of a really good local beach the hotel has a free bus to playa Americans every day leaving at midday and coming back at 4pm. We made the trip a couple of times, spending nice afternoons on sandy beaches close to where the bus dropped us off. You need to book the bus the day before to be sure of a place.
Entertainment- there's a musical act at the bar every night. It was always pleasant and there's a good atmosphere. There's usually an act in the shared (with next doors Bahia Tenerife) entertainment area. Low budget and not a big crowd puller.

So overall some feeling that cuts have had an impact but a good staff team does mitigate that quite a lot. Would we come back? Yes we would.

Magnifique semaine buffets au top jardins supers bien entretenus personnel a l'ecoute a part 2 ou 3 cheffaillons. Grosse structure neanmoins! Et très fréquenté. Pour location de véhicule prévoir ouverture du bureau ou de la patience. Peut être une question de personne? Ce jour là.

Been here 2014, it was in the sister hotel though, had a great time, pool areas and restaurants were fine, but I think it all needs a good make over, it's a bit tired looking, especially the rooms, the staff were very friendly and hard working.

Going downhill rapidly. Cost cutting evident everywhere and using the Covid excuse laughably for certain things. Services have become less and less over the years and now intolerable. Less overworked staff, food quality now questionable and they now renege on the customer loyalty, so absolutely no point in being loyal to a brand that actually gives you less and less every year. Go elsewhere.

Un hotel con unas piscinas impresionantes, unas vistas espectaculares, buenísima atención del personal, trato muy cercano y agradables. Buena comida. En general un 9. Me encantó. Repetiría una y mil veces más.

Après le Mexique, "riviera maya", République Dominicaine " le Bouganville" je suis très déçu que la version européenne de Bahia principé de Tenerife soit si différente. Faut t'il être Américain, Canadien, Mexicain ou Russe pour avoir un lieu d'exception et de services complètement différent c'est un site agréable sans plage Heureusement les plages de "las América" qui se trouve à 3/4 d'heures de l'hôtel pour 5.10€ aller retour avec le bus public.les chauffeurs sont extrêmement gentils et compréhensible voir très sympa. L'avantage de Tenerife c'est que comme les îles française nous sommes en Europe donc téléphonie gratuite avec Free pour ce qui est du français parlé, il y a un réel Progrès à faire et c'est un problème.heureusement encore il y a une partie du personnel qui est un minimum francophone mais ce n'est pas forcément à l'accueil. Si en France nous mettons un point d'honneur à nommer et à expliquer dans toutes les langues les pancartes et autres, ce n'es pas le cas ici en Espagne! Viva la colonie.qui en oublie son grand voisin. Un avantage nous sommes très prêt du site hard Rock café (moins de 3kms#20mn) et de son village très pour le Hard Rock café vous avez un bus gratuit qui part gratuitement depuis l'hôtel. Cet établissement et familiale donc beaucoup d'enfants alors que les autres visités avaient des sites adultes. Le SPA Après une réservation faite directement sur le site on nous contacte pour nous annoncer qu'il faut décaler pour x raisons au surlendemain OK Malheureusement le jour annoncé, rebelote on nous informe au SPA qu'il y a un problème et qu'il faut à nouveau reporté nous décidons d'annuler.super je déconseille. Les piscines non pas de bars donnant sur la piscine même si le covid les avaient momentanément fermé et pas de cartes boissons ce qui est ennuyeux quand personnes ne parlent français et que l'on a pas l'habitude de consommer des coktails fait avec des alcools générique pas toujours très bon. Juste à regarder? Le gaspillage sur les tables. Les restaurants sont comme suit: petit déjeuner =le top du top omelette à la carte, crêpes, croissants, fruits, tout y est? Profitez car le dîner en est autre? Un self très moyen et très basique pour nous les français à ne plus rien comprendre sur la qualité du précédent petit déjeuner le soir, on peut manger dans des restaurants un peu plus chic, italien, asie "le meilleur", Mexicain avec une très belle entrecôte sauf qu'il faut réserver sur le site de l'hôtel et que tout est déjà presque réservé la première journée alors à vos marques car autrement retour à la cafétéria avec le libre service où tout est compris, bière et vin alors que c'est payant au restaurant pour les vins un peu plus qualitatif (12à15€) Rassurez vous le vin basique et gratuit est quand même présenté. Bref pour des vacances européenne je dit"OUI" pour du hors gabarit tout compris allé sur les autres Sites. Un club pour les familles clairement. Propre et sympathique.
