Fortunate to have fished a few places around the world and the sea around Tennerife is up there with the best. Very rich and diverse.
Crested Wave is a long established family business who pride themselves on delivering the best possible fishing experience and work extremely hard to catch fish.
Lots of dolphins, whales and turtles
to be seen as well. Great value for money.
Make sure you reserve in advance to ensure a day out as they do get booked up.

Fantastic Sea fish Adventure with the great crew of the Crested Wave. They did everything possible to catch and to make us comfortabele with food and drink. We caught three amazing big tuna between 250-330 kilo's. I can really recommend it.

Somos un grupo de 4 adultos y 2 niños que reservamos un charter privado de 1/2 día. Fue una de las mejores experiencias de todas nuestras vidas. Atrapamos el pez de toda la vida un atún de aleta azul de 300 kg. Mick, Jack y The Crew no pueden hacer más por ti, hacen todo lo posible para asegurarse de que pesques y lo lograron. Simplemente de primera calidad. Volveremos y reservaremos de nuevo.

Before all the good things about this trip there's always certain things about sea fishing and fishing trips in general to be taken into account. After phoning ahead, as instructed my day couldnt go ahead due to reasons out of anyones control. This wasn't a problem, it happens to me regularly in the UK. Mick kept in touch tho and a few days later we were on!

Jacks enthusiasm is top notch, he collected some favoured bait then put us into areas holding fish straight away. Shortly after lunch we hooked into something big, very big. 2 1/2 hours later we leadered a 780lb blue fin Tuna. Truly the fish of a lifetime.

We even tried for another after that with the same effort as the first. Ive been on a few trips in the canaries, all good boats but this one ticked all the boxes for me, even if we had blanked we couldnt have tried anymore and thats what makes the difference for me in fishing.

Thanks for something I will never forget.

Antes de todo lo bueno de este viaje, siempre hay ciertas cosas a tener en cuenta sobre la pesca en el mar y los viajes de pesca en general. Después de llamar con anticipación, según las instrucciones, mi día no pudo continuar debido a razones fuera del control de nadie. Esto no fue un problema, me sucede regularmente en el Reino Unido. ¡Mick se mantuvo en contacto y unos días después estábamos en contacto!

El entusiasmo de Jack es de primera categoría, recolectó algunos cebos favoritos y luego nos puso en áreas con peces de inmediato. Poco después del almuerzo nos enganchamos a algo grande, muy grande. 2 1/2 horas más tarde lideramos un atún de aleta azul de 780 libras. Verdaderamente el pez de toda la vida.

Incluso intentamos por otro después de eso con el mismo esfuerzo que el primero. He estado en algunos viajes en Canarias, todos buenos barcos, pero este cumplía todos los requisitos para mí, incluso si hubiéramos fallado, no podríamos haberlo intentado más y eso es lo que hace la diferencia para mí en la pesca.

Went fishing with my son for half day. We caught a lots of fish and had a good time on board. Crew was also friendly and nice. I recommend you bring sunglasses and sunscreen with you on a trip.

Salimos el 9 de Septiembre con la excursión de 4 h.y la experiencia fue muy buena. La tripulación atenta, el material abundante y de calidad para las 3 modalidades de pesca que practicamos. En fondo mi chiquillo tuvo la suerte de pelear con un (posiblemente) medregal (pez limón) de un tamaño considerable (sobre los 15 kg) aunque finalmente se soltó. Buen barco, buena compañía, buen paseo viendo incluso las ballenas piloto. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable.

What a morning! Hopped on the Crested Waves II on 09: 00 in the morning for a 4 hour trip. Within 30 minutes into the big blue we got 2 Marlins hooked up at the same time. Later in the morning we also managed to catch 3 small Tuna and.another Marlin. What a crazy start of the day! Unique experience!

Jack and his crew were very professional and helpful.

We did not catch anything, but the boat was comfortable, the beer was cold and the crew spent extra effort trying to find a good spot. Thank you!

We had an amazing trip with crested wave. We catched very big yellowfin tunas and wahoos. They are very professional and polite. Everybody should do this experience.

Over the years I've been on a few boats out of Puerto Colon, but decided to try these guys. Went out with a friend in October and was blown away by the fishing - a 120 kilo yellowfin and then, within minute, a huge bluefin that the crew were very careful to return safely. Back in February and will more trips with them!

Once again a fantastic day's fishing with Jack and the crew. They work hard to get you on the fish and make sure everything is spot on for you, even down to a cold beer and packed lunch.

We booked a full day and it was an amazing day with a lot of action, the crew was really great and helpful.
Ticketsale was super easy and very friendly!
We were even out longer than the tour normally is because the fishing picked up towards the end.

Sur 5 sorties en mer, nous avons vu un tas d'espèces.bonites, thon, raie, barracuda, maquereaux.jamais une sortie sans faire de poisson et en plus l'équipage est chaleureux et à l'écoute de chacun.je le recommande fortement si vous voulez passer un bon moment et faire du poisson.

That was a great experience! Michael and his son Jack arranged everything perfect for such absolute beginners as me and my wife. At the same time we shared a trip with a couple of other guys - seasoned fishermen and they weren't disappointed either.

Booking, communication, time at the boat, equipment - I find everything great. Will definitely go with them to the sea for a fishing trip the next time I'm visiting Tenerife.

Pasamos un día genial con los chicos de Crested Wave. Logramos capturar caballas, mantarraya y atún. Además, los chicos tienen muchísimo conocimiento sobre pescar, los mejores sitios y todo el equipamiento. Mejor todavía, el personal nos ofreció varios filetes de atún para llevar a casa. Recomendaría Genuine Fishing Crested Wave a cualquier personal a quién le interesa pescar en Tenerife. Sin duda volveríamos para hacerlo de nuevo!

Been out on this boat quite a few times, a couple of times caught no fish but not for lack of crew effort. Even on the trips with no fish the crew make it such an enjoyable trip. Highly recommend these guys, no body better on the island, you will not be dissapointed.

The Mrs and I went out on the crested wave while out in tenerife. Mick at the kiosk in Los cristianos was very helpful and advised us as to what we could possibly catch. He did say that things could change due to weather and tide conditions, this we accepted as we do boat fishing in the UK.
The 7 hour trip is the one we chose. We were glad we did.
When we got to the boat, Jack the skipper told us that the local commercial fishing boats had reported that there were yellow fin tuna feeding not far out.
You could see the excitement in Jack's face.
As we left port he set up all the rods, you could tell that he was very experienced as it took no time at all.
He then got the other anglers together to explain tactics for the day and allocated everyone a rod and gave a thorough demonstration of what and what not to do when a trolling rod went off.
As we trolled about we could see lots of birds feeding on bait balls, always a good sign.
As we got to them you could see the tuna busting the surface, big yellow fin tuna. Happy day's.
We managed to get 2 on board. There was a great atmosphere on board with the other anglers buzzing with excitement. We then searched for a bit longer. Jack explained that they mainly feed in the morning and late afternoon. So went to do some bottom fishing. When he set up the bottom fishing rods he explained what to do regarding the reels. A couple of guys were light tackle fishing, he advised them not to touch the fish, some of the fish caught on the bottom have poisonous spines.
During the trip he handed out drinks, water, pop. And cans of beer. After the rods were set up and baited out came the lunch. 2 baggetes
Fruit and a bag of crisps.
We caught about 6 nice rays off the bottom.
We then set off back trolling looking for more feeds, he looked all over contacting other skippers for reports, we should have been back in port at 5.30, we didn't get back in until 6.30. Great value for money. When looking for the kiosk in Los Chris, it's the one that says "GENUINE FISHING " they aren't lying.
I will certainly be back out on the crested wave.

Arrogant young owner (with his father). Only good for UK people. And if you try to say something wrong they will harras you. Don't recommend. Fishers find another company.

First of all this team is a real fishermans team but what is more you get a very well equipped boat lots of space good vibes

Went out for half day morning trip. Crested Wave is quite big which give you the possibility to move around. The crew was very service minded and took really good care of all on board. We saw turtles and Pilot whales really close to the boat. Great experience! We did trolling (surface fishing) for almost three and a half hours and we got around ten small tunas. If the crew have explained a bit more what baits they were using and what fishes we were aiming for it would have been a five star rating (Here I assume that different baits attracts different fishes). To be honest it took me quite long time to understand that the baits on the surface just 25m behind the boat were actually "active". Unfortunately the bottom fishing was not possible due to small puffer fishes that cutted all lines. We tried for 10 minutes and all gear disappeared.

Nothing to do with the fishing as that's what it is not catching. The crew were very unorganized, (leading to them doing everything rather than letting you do the fishing) when one angler had a bite they even took the rod off him. Constantly being pushy on how you should fish even when you've explained you do a lot of fishing.
Not sure if been spoiled by the boat we usually go on in feurtaventura but will be trying another boat next time here.

Great fishing! Plenty of room on boat. Really experienced crew, really friendly and attentive. Booking was really easy and communication was excellent- is owned by an English family - which helps if you dont speak spanish! -We did the 4 hour afternoon session (twice!) Caught tuna on the first trip which was great and saw lots of dolphins on second trip. Crew offer a mixture of fishing techniques - inc trawling. Drinks on board were provided (beer and soft Drinks) went with another company last year but Crested Wave was the best. Will definately go with them again next time for all of the above reasons and great value for money.

Can't recommend these guys enough been out with a few Tenerife charters this lot are head and shoulders above them

Never managed to actually get out because of the bad weather, but the staff were very friendly, and did everything that they could. Excellent communication. Will be back!

Partis à 13h30 et retour à 19h30. On a navigué sans arrêt à la recherche de thon. Personne n'a touché sa canne à pêche. On a même pas essayé une fois. Un calvaire! J'ai pas compris l'intérêt. On a était partis pour un bon moment en mer on a fais une course au large de Tenerife.

My favourite past time in tenerife is sea fishing with this crew. Every trip is a unique adventure. I've been on board about 40 trips since 2007. Even if you blank, which can happen, that's fishing, one thing for sure is you'll love being out on the boat. Rays off the bottom and tuna on the trolling lures are quite common. And you get fed with a beer or two as well.
