El Salobre Horse Riding

Caminos muy malos con muchas piedras, por lo que te sientas y dedicas gran parte de tu atención a guiar al caballo. Habíamos reservado un viaje de 2 horas con caminata y trote, y se convirtió en un trote de 1 minuto (máximo 2 minutos) en las dos horas. La mitad de los caballos son muy delgados y dos de los caballos que conseguimos no caminaban muy bien cuando tenían que bajar cuesta abajo. Personal amable y buenas vistas durante el viaje, pero lamentablemente no puedo recomendar el lugar.

¡Una experiencia súper relajada! Nunca antes había subido a un caballo, pero el personal hizo un gran trabajo al explicarlo. El caballo que tuve era precioso. Además, había varios gatos y perros lindos deambulando por el área del establo que podías acariciar mientras preparaban a tu caballo. El paseo a caballo en sí fue muy pintoresco. Lo recomiendo mucho, especialmente si nunca antes has subido a un caballo.

Gran experiencia, estuvimos aquí por segunda vez y fue muy divertido nuevamente. Muy bien gestionado, está dividido según la experiencia para que todos saquen algo, ya sean principiantes o avanzados. Vale la pena un gran recorrido en un hermoso paisaje.

Servicio de recogida y entrega en varios hoteles, buena explicación y orientación. Bonita ruta entre rocas y cactus. Preciosas vistas a las montañas y Maspalomas.

Los animales gozaban de muy buena salud. Los establos se limpiaron minuciosamente. Después del paseo, primero se cuidó a los animales. El personal también prestó mucha atención a todos los participantes. Una experiencia súper bonita y buena. ¡¡¡Gracias por este fantástico viaje!

Qué tarde absolutamente excelente. Mi pareja y yo nunca antes habíamos montado a caballo, pero disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra tarde. Los primeros 10 minutos son aterradores, pero una vez que te relajas y te das cuenta de que el caballo sabe exactamente qué hacer, es increíble. ¡¡Así que confía en tu caballo!
Después de preguntarle a nuestro representante de Tui quién solo ofrecería el tiempo que tenían (solo una opción), nos enviamos un whatsapp y nos dijeron qué horarios estaban disponibles y organizaron la recogida en nuestro hotel y de regreso. Los guías estaban bien informados, eran amables y fantásticos en general. Eligen un caballo según tu altura y experiencia, te dan todas las instrucciones que necesitas y ¡¡listo! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente, definitivamente vale la pena. Costaba 59€ cada uno, incluyendo recogida desde y hacia el alojamiento y 2 horas de caminata.

Esta fue la segunda vez que viajé aquí y nuevamente fue muy divertido. Al principio se divide entre principiantes y avanzados. A los jinetes avanzados se nos permitió trotar y galopar, lo cual fue muy divertido. Por mi tamaño y peso pedí un caballo que me pudiera llevar bien y con Guru lo conseguí. Las dos mujeres que nos acompañaron hablaban alemán, inglés y español, lo cual estuvo muy bien. Definitivamente regresaré

Precioso paseo al atardecer, no he subido a caballo en mucho tiempo, así que no lo sé, pero fue un paseo encantador y mi sobrina y su amiga se lo pasaron genial. Si vas a montar a caballo, lleva gafas de sol para protegerte del sol brillante y del polvo.
Rode Guru, que era un chico descarado que quería ser el que iba a la cabeza. No creo que a Luna le gustara especialmente estar detrás de él tampoco.

Al llegar tuvimos que esperar un rato, al final nos asignaron un caballo a todos. Todos parecían sanos, pero lamentablemente también vi caballos rígidos al caminar, no me pareció que el estado de las sillas fuera bueno y las cadenas de los frenos también estaban bastante apretadas. Cuando mi esposo subió, el caballo se hundió al suelo a través de sus rodillas delanteras. (No puedo hacer un diagnóstico, pero mi caballo con osteoartritis también presentó estas "quejas")

Antes del paseo, los caballos se portaban muy bien y eran confiables, incluso los principiantes que estaban allí pudieron desempeñarse bien. Al final pensé que era genial que los dos guías viajaran al frente. Dejaron atrás a la gente, sin ninguna orientación. No importa qué tan bien se porte un caballo, personalmente pensé que era irresponsable.
No volvería a reservar un viaje aquí; y luego simplemente porque no apoyo plenamente el bienestar de estos caballos.

He estado aquí por segunda vez y estoy muy impresionado de nuevo. La excursión de dos horas a caballo fue realmente agradable Todos son siempre muy amables aquí, incluidos los conductores, por supuesto. Siempre tiene algo en familia. Volveremos definitivamente.

Had an alright experience here. The people were super nice and seemed to care about the horses a lot which is always good. There were a lot of flies which of course is no one's fault so that doesn't impact my review but the horses were pretty uncomfortble with the constant flies everywere. A thing that we did notice was that the trail was very bad. A lot of big rocks, the horses tripped and slided a couple times and were having a lot of trouble navigating the trail which just made it more sad than enjoyable. I ofcourse don't know if this was a different trail as in some pictures online the trail looks a lot softer. I must say the horses were wearing shoes but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was still not a suitable trail. So just be mindfull of that when you book.
Because the people were very lovely and caring still 3 stars.:)

Nice and safe horses and very nice guides. Good choice for total beginners or a relaxing ride for experienced riders. Could have devided groups after experience. Very little trot and galopp.

The people where very nice and so where the horses. The only thing I really thought was bad was the route we took. There where alot of little and big rocks which makes it hard for the horses. My horse tripped 3 times which made me feel very bad for him. I think that if they would take a different route it would be 4 or 5 stars.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience, never sat on horse before. The staff was great and helpful. The horses were nice and calm. The route went on a beautiful scenery. As a first time rider, couldn't ask for more. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

We have really nice horse riding experience as beginners. Friendly staff, calm and nice horses, wonderfull landscape where we were. I strongly recommend to everyone who wants to try.

Great day out, hotel pick up and drop off was hassle free. Horses are well maintained and healthy. Expect to get a bit dirty as sandy / dusty sometimes difficult areas will be visited during your ride, but beautiful views will make for it. Overall amazing experience for horse lovers ️. And can't wait to do it again.

We made a 2 hour trip here. Excellent place! Well organised, friendly personnel. Accessible for all: first time on a horse or veteran, all can enjoy a nice trip!

I went horse riding for two hours with El Salobre in november 2022.
After being picked up at the hotel by the cheerful driver Gabi, we were welcomed by two enthousiastic ladies at El Salobre. In fluent English they asked about everyones experience, gave some (safety-) information about the trip and then assigned everyone a fitting horse.
They did a great job at matching the right horse with the right rider. Less experienced riders get an extremely calm horse, while the ones with a more experience get one with a bit more character. But in any case, even the last ones were kind and gentle horses. In the end everyone got the perfect horse for this trip.

The trip itself guides you through rocky terrain with fantastic views. So we went on a slow walkingpace most of the time. Don't expect a wild ride here, trotting or galloping in this terrain is a no-go. But on a flat road we trotted for a short distance and galloping was possible in a certain (sandy) area. You get great panoramas of the inland hills and walk in between cactae on small roads that lead up and down. But never the road felt dangerous or unsafe, and the horses know the terrain well.
Midway, there was space for a short break where everyone was offered water and the possibility to get a picture taken with their own phone.

Overall, I really enjoyed this calm, relaxed trip. Thanks to the professional supervision from Laura (and the other girl which name I forgot), the fitting horses and the great scenery I had a great fornoon. Thank you a lot!

I have experience with horse riding and always find it tricky to find horse friendly places in tourist places. The people from El Salobre take good care of the horses. The ride is quite simple because the groups are mixed from no experience at all to a lot of experience. They do split the group up later to do a trot, and if the experience allows a short gallop up. We allowed the horse to decide the speed in gallop, so it was fast and fun.

Equipe sympa, chevaux très gentils adaptés aux débutants, les accompagnatrices sont prudentes, parcours dans les cailloux, rien d'exceptionnel mais c'est le paysage du coin. Balade pour la détente pas pour faire du grand galop. C'était une première fois pour mon conjoint et ça s'est très bien passé et de mon côté j'ai pu faire un p'tit galop avec Estria une jument très mignonne

Honestly one of the best experience in Gran Canaria! Both for beginners and more experienced riders. The staff and the owner are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!
